Please explain to me the thought process that made you believe that was written by a white USAmerican.
Indians and Chinese also populate the West and actively help oppress the Global South where the majority of their people live. This is why the terms "people of the imperial core" and "people of the periphery" are important terms to use. Otherwise you reinforce the bigotry that relegates immigrants as "non-Western", paints the many and varied Asian folk as "Chinese, Indians and Arabs" including the minorities suffering under their colonialism and imperialism. This reinforces their regional ethnic, cultural and geo-political dominance in those regions.
We who live here do not define ourselves solely in relation to the white colonizer because the Global North/Global South divide coloniality that informs our existence involves many forms of racial and ethnic oppression, including the erasing of our own voices by the Western diaspora. Assuming that any critique of your framings comes from white USAmericans is an example of this. Please use the proper terms for these posts and interrogate how your own attitudes and conceptualisations are formed by that of the imperial core you live in, and your own role in the reinforcement of this hierarchy as a citizen of it.
