Something deeply funny to me about Chibnall fans complaining about how the current series handles the preceding Doctor and cast as if RTD2 doesn't do more to carry forward stuff from the Chibnall era than Chibnall ever did to carry forward stuff from the Moffat era. I'm unconvinced Chibnall ever watched an episode with 12 in it, all he seems to be able to say is that he was a "white haired Scotsman" and the only episode I can think of with any reference to what happened to Bill wasn't even written by Chibnall and was still vague as hell.

#and don't even get me started on dropping the master's character development #it's genuinely so bad that to this day i don't see how dhawan makes sense as anything other than a pre-gomez master #don't get me wrong dhawan is even fun sometimes when he isn't being a nazi but it makes no sense without a LOT of fuckery to make that work #even big finish had to invent a whole convoluted reason for that to work. the damn lumiat #scienceandfandoms #doctor who #she speaks
