Currently learning how mutual funds work. I didn't realize this job was going to teach me many of the basics of finance, but. . .cool? Maybe I will need this information some day?

#I believe degrowth (at minimum) is necessary for the earth to remain habitable for humanity #so making investments on the assumption that Stonk Market Get Bigger In Perpetuity is kind of...betting against myself #I do have some in an IRA though because there are no pensions to be found in this cursed nation #and I figure if nothing big changes about our economic system #it's better to retire to a fiery weathertorn hellscape than to not retire at all #[enormous grimace]#boring text posts #job 3
