Guys I've realised something about Ace being the killer.

So you guys know the beginning of the chapter right, a lot of people was using it to try and think about how Levi/Eden are related to the murder case.

But uhm...

Eden -> Arei (victim)

Levi -> Ace (culprit)

Eden and Arei managed to become friends as Arei allowed herself to let her walls down.

Ace rejected Levi's attempt at an apology and friendship. We see Ace in the trial talk about how he wanted someone to at least care about him, mentioning his past friend.

Levi/Eden kinda are meant to be foils/parallels, both people striving to good but coming from a completely different place.

Min/Xander were both parallels in their own way as well, the Ultimate Student killing the Ultimate Rebel.

Ace and Arei were both extremely mean people. However Arei ended up forming a friendship with Eden while Ace ended up isolating himself more and more.

So...why would Ace target Arei ? It was probably out of jealousy.

People often talk about morality being a theme of this chapter, but like isn't friendship a part of it as well.

After all "Because that's what friend's do" is one of the lines chosen to represent Arei.
