“Boys will be boys” headcannons, you say?

Well speaking as a teenage boy who’s done a few dumb things, here’s a couple:

-Soda definitely doesn’t wear a shirt in the summer. Any time it’s hot out, he’s ditched it (genuinely dunno how folks survive summer WITHOUT doing this tbh)

-Steve gets real pissy when he doesn’t win at things. Like if you beat him at poker he’ll tackle you. He sees this as re-establishing dominance. Everyone else sees it as Steve being a dumbass.

-Speaking of Steve, he seems like the sort to punch things when he’s mad. So does Dally. Just like…random walls and whatever. Throwing things too. I imagine it would scare Pony a bit at first, although by the time the book takes place, he’d be relatively unphased

-(movie!steve, ‘cuz in the movie he’s like 5’7) Steve used to be tall as a kid, like taller than Soda, Two-Bit, and Dally, and he’d make fun of them for being short. Then in like sophomore year of high school Soda and Dally get tall and Steve stays the same height. Soda is nice about it- but Dally mocks him for it non-stop

-Dally and Johnny once tried to make chocolate cake out of boredom. Somehow it turned into trying to light fireworks in the Curtis’s kitchen sink. Mrs. Curtis was pissed

-Sodapop and Darry tried to build a treehouse in the backyard as kids. It was just a piece of wood that they taped to a branch. Pony was still really impressed and bragged about it to his friends at school even though it was really lousy

-Two-Bit likes to say he’s won “every game of pool he’s ever played”, because he played once years ago and won due to a stroke of beginner’s luck. He refuses to play again now because he’ll “lose his perfect winning streak”

-Steve and Sodapop used to talk about hopping onto a freight train and going on adventures together “out in the Wild West”. Both of them low key still kinda want to

-Dally secretly wants to be a cowboy. Not like Buck, but like a Clint Eastwood type cowboy. Would die before saying so out loud

-Soda and Ponyboy have saved a few injured animals, like raccoons and whatever, and every time they do they try to convince Darry to let them keep it as a pet. Soda came real close once, and hid an injured lizard in his room for a month, but eventually Darry found it and forced him to free it

-Johnny was bored once and built a fort in the old lot, and him and Pony and Dally hung out in it until the cops made them take it down

-Sodapop, Two-Bit, and Steve once tried to start a band. It was terrible, because Soda and Two-Bit are too lazy to bother learning an instrument. Steve was okay because he could sing pretty well, but he sucked at the guitar he was trying to play too, and it all fell apart. Dally told them he’d pay them money to never play music again

okay, that’s probably enough for now- but yeah, there’s a few. Idk how much they stuck to the prompt, but whatever lol

Tbh idk I kinda just write what my kinks are and see how to many it work for a character.

Orpheus he def writes role-plays between you and him to figure out what he can do. Twitter is busted rn so I'm gonna just write down my earthspark s3 thoughts here. Mostly ranting who gives a shit

Uugghhh this part was better overall I think. The last 3 eps are pretty good. It's still very noticeable that the script quality has decreased, the dialogue and pacing are pretty bad. But there where fun concepts, however executed to varying degrees of success. I'll just list it off

-prowl was a fun addition but wasted potential. His arc of being an older autobot stuck in his ways is good, he must learn to warm up to the terrans and live with the fact the old Civil War is over. His development is too fast and slow. He should've learned his lesson earlier and not at the end when he has a fucking wack ass convo with bee and op about how he's stepping out of line. It should've been called out sooner and his episode with robbie and thrash would've been a more appropriate place for him to learn to "trust the students" instead of being right in front of starscream. Feels like they wanted a little bit of his tfa arc without properly humbling him and giving him good character interactions (like his connection with tfa bee and sari to ground him). Thrash was right there to be his little bond mate like how jawbreaker is to grimlock or twitch is to megs, etc. His arc shouldve been tigther. Idk his gay moment with megatron was cool tho

-the chaos terrains are revived and on neutral territory. Whatever. I hope they get development instead of just being le evil robot cuz "they where born evil" is such a stupid angle.

-the decepticons going to cybertron could be neat if the story continues. But god damn what a shattered arc they had. Starscream being comically evil is still very clearly not the arc that was planned and it shows in its poor execution. Breakdown just shafting bee for the cons when in s1 he was clearly a more neutral con like tarantulas was is such wasted potential. All nuance in the splinter decepticons has been nullified, it's literally only megs who is "on the good side". It's not that I think all the cons would adjust to peace time or that they should all be so friendly but it's so annoying how it feels their arc/theme of moving on has been completely dropped.

-the quints are evil again, ok sure. If u don't got the civil war plot it's usually the quitessons as the enemy which is fine normally. But then being a splinter species much like the terrans and having a connection with robbie and mo is so neat, but it's completely disregarded because the quints just kill all other quintus prime offspring. Such wasted potential. Maybe have a good group and bad group, or some sort of nuance to the quints finding more of their kin? Idk there was that one grunt that kept getting beat up, lost an arm and head piece, I though he could've stuck around, maybe he could've aligned with the maltos after being rejected for failure, or become a secondary bad guy. Idk just anything more than literally repeating the 86 execution scene but missing all the sauce that made it good. The twist of thr gf being a quint is fine idk. Just poorly executed again

-God damn the dialogue and script is bad. Even good concepts get butchered or clearly aren't as well executed as they should've. I already mentioned the 86 reference, but the recreation misses the og point. It repeated shots used in the movie but without their purpose. In the movie hot rod and kup spin the water to purposely trip up the quints. In this the quints spin the water to push robbie/mo down further to the bottom so they can reach the bot corpses and grab a weapon? Fucking masterful gambit. . It lacks good set up and reason as to why it was done. In the movie it was to show the cunningness of hot rod and kup, the two of them being ACTIVE in their escape. In the show it's just a reference and a poorly thought out device to get them weapons. It makes robbie and mo PASSIVE in their own escape.

The whole ep with prowl and robbie/thrash could've been so fun, but prowl is so dull. He's supposed to be sharp and quick to see details, but the writting is so poor he misses shit and acts to late. When they're trying to find the quint shapeshiter and he suspects robbies gf, it would've been cool if he acted faster, maybe restraining the quint before robbie/mo catch on, maybe causing a rift in the new team, then have him proven right when robbie sees the blood. The way he just points out the blood and doesn't even move when it's entirely clear she should be questioned is such poor pacing forcthe scene. A supposedly quick witted character wouldnt just stand around when its perfectly clear someone should act. (reminds me of the dodgy writting of him in idw where it feels like the writters wanna imply hes smart without actually writting him well enough to showcase thaf fact. Lots of telling not enough showing)

There are other scenes like this where if it just went through like one or two more rewrites it would've been a solid scene, but they get held back by stupid details that just derail good character beats. It fucking sucks to see

-fair maestro sucks bring back mandroid or a similiar character. Him modifying himself with robot parts to be more like a transformer, trying to be techno organic much like how robbie/mo are techno organic . Idk he was a good foil. Maestro could be reworked to be a human who seeks out transformers for more nefarious science shit byt instead he just does stupid shit with them. Not even like fun tfa shit just lame shit. No where near as threatening as even tfp or tfas human villians.

-terrarronus slays I love her power armor power up. She's neat

Tldr the ending of the season was an improvement over s2, but man it still sucks to see how far it's falling. And I can still see so many good ideas in the show! Bringing old g1 characters like prowl is fun. Quints are cool dudes, and relevant to the quintos prime angle. The hate plague or some sort of infection episode is always a neat idea. Terratronus is awesome, I loved her use in the climax. But god damn it's so sloppy in execution. It cleaned up some of its sloppy ideas from s2, like the chaos terrans, but the thread there is still hanging. What about other autobots like prowl, it seems there are more of them around, where are they? Tarantulas is still out there, are there other neutrals or "good" decepticons still on earth, and what's their deal? Starscreams deal is so underutilized, i hope he gets at least some closure or arc that isnt shit. The chaos terrans just being evil and bratty for the sake of it is so shallow, do something more interesting with them. Maybe if the cons come back from cybertron we could get something interesting from them. Who knows. I know it's not the staffs fault, the writers room complelty changed and the animation house is different. But if we do get another season, they better clean up the plot more, they have a long way to go to fix up what they busted from s1. It sucks to see wasted potential like this

Back with more things I think are canon in Charlie's and his ange's friendship.

If he is out with her and anyone tries flirting with her he gets rid of them immediatly (even if lando and oscar are nit there he has got their backs)

One time Angel really can't attend the gp because she really has to be at uni so Charles goes to landoscars room and practically forces them to do masks with him because Angel's not there to do it. After they send her cute selfies of all 3 of them with masks on.

He helps her get more comfy with sexuality. In the sense of maybe when lando and oscar bring something new up and she gets shy abt it, she can't help but overthink abt that and Charles can tell smth is up so in the end she confides in him and he helps her understand that trying things it's ok and that she knows that they would stop the moment she says she doesn't like smth.

In the begining angel was getting quite a lot of hate for her closeness with Charles, we all know how fangirls are but he immediatly cut it all out and made a statement on how he will take action against anyone and everyone that has smth bad to say abt her.

He is one of the few people she is comfortable to let be touchy with her besides her boyfriends( like even when she gets into one of her headspaces)

They don't fight! Nope! Charles will not allow and can't stand to see her sad so they don't fight (also he finds anything she does perfect so why would they even fight)

When exams are coming up for her he does little cards with questions related to the subject she has to study and quizes her (he has no ideea what the questins or answers even mean but she is responding accordingly so he is amazed at his little genius friend)

Gets her a pair of custom made pants just like his (we all know what pants I am reffering) and then she styles an outfit for both of them that includes the pants so they can take photos togheter.

His phone is full of candid photos of her.

As he can't cook she almost always invites him to join her and Landoscar for dinner since she learned to cook things that fit their diets.

At the Monaco GP angel is wearing his number all race weekend, is always by his side, hypes him up and cheers for him( Lando and Oscar also are really supportive and wish their friend to win his home race even tho they are and need to be more lowkey abt it due to media duties)

She is just sunshine and he is sunshine protector

angel being asleep while they’re doing face masks so she wakes up to the images and responds with a video of her getting ready for the day, from skin care routine to picking out her outfit, making breakfast.

after the first time they talk about sex and angel realizes she can trust him, she goes to him a lot to ask if he’s ever done it and what it was like, especially if her boyfriends haven’t. she doesn’t like going into things blind, she seeks knowledge about everything and that doesn’t include her boyfriend’s ideas. he always reassures her that they love her too much to hurt her and she has safe words for a reason and she should never be afraid of using them. charles tells her about his hookups or past relationships to reassure her of trying new things. charles is perfect at reassuring her of anything.

charles will defend angel to the ends of the earth!! it’s part of why oscar and lando like him so much, because anyone else might enjoy the rumors but he’s quick to stomp them out.

charles deffo gives great hugs and the best cuddles, he’s her go-to person for comfort when her bfs aren’t there. he’s always petting her hair or her back when they cuddle. she’d ask him to tell her fairytales when she wants to lay on him for a nap, he’d be all smiley and cute like “oh you want a bedtime story for your nap? okay mon ange. my maman told me this one all the time as a kid.��

angel and charles never have disagreements, if they do have any, it’s definitely over fashion and they agree to disagree or charles agrees with angel only because she has a better fashion record than he so he trusts her more.

he’s trying to pronounce the words on the flashcards and is stumbling over the big ones and she finishes the word and answers the question and he’s just like, “how’d you know what i was trying to say? i butchered that.”

lets be honest they both have sm candids of each other and if she has social media which i think as a fashion girlie she needs to, she posts charles in every photo dump and vice versa.

she has an entire cookbook of tried and true recipes that she found and altered to fit their diets and every night that isn’t a date night charles is at their house for dinner. he brings wine and dessert and good conversation every time. after people find out about the food she cooks from the three men talking about it constantly, it turns into dinners party with a rotating guest book. they do them once a week when they’re home, and throughout the year when they can make time to get home and host. depending on who is in town, there’s different people. charles is at almost all of them. fans love them bc they get fed sm content from peoples photo dumps from the night.

lando and oscar getting second and third to charles’s win in monaco and she’s waiting with his team to congratulate him, lando and charles are confused where their gf is until they see her being hauled over the barrier by charles and they’re running over to his team to get their gf. mclaren team wanting to congratulate their boys but they want their girlfriends praise more.

so first we have megumi who’s dad is toji (duh) but they’re part of the zenin family business but they’re like the black sheep’s of the family if you will, so megumi does an internship with gojo’s family out of pure spite (bc he’s a lil firecracker) and gojo’s in charge of showing him the ropes and at first he’s just interested in megumi for the sake of getting tje juicy zenin drama details out of him but later he rly feels for the kid and how he’s stuck in so much craziness bc of his snobby rich family (and he relates a bit too) so he kinda grows fond of him in like an older brother type of way bc rich boy gojo is in college so he’s like early twenties and megumi’s like a 15/16 year old so it’s more a brother dynamic

NEXT we have neighbor one like you said !! i rly kind of like the idea of gojo like growing up with suguru and teasing the small grumpy kid next door but secretly they all rly care for each other and megumi always got into fights at school (and usually won) but sometimes gojo and geto got onto the older kids cases and scared them off and warned them not to bug lil gumi or else >:( omg and lil tsumiki had the hots for one (or both) of them even tho they’re older and rly only see her as a kid but yeah they know each other as lil rich neighbors who attend the same parties sometimes and megumi acts like gojo is so annoying and insufferable but rly he’s rly fond of the guy and looks up to him and trusts him in case he needs someone

LASTLY BUT NOT LEASTLY @autumnalsteahouse suggested the barista idea AND I RLY LOVE IT and it kindaaaa ties the first one in with the intern / mentor idea but megs background is different. so basically megumi is a young teen barista after school trying to make ends meet with his broke ass dad toji (jdjsfjf broke toji prevails) but anyway they’re related to the zenin family but toji knocked up this “lower class” girl who’s not rich enough but also has another child from a previous relationship (tsumiki) so the zenins hate her but anyway after he gets her pregnant by accident, he’s still rly in love with her but his family offered her good money to take the baby and leave OR get an abortion but she declined both bc her and toji agreed to raise the lil baby together whos eventually megumi. anyway toji basically gets cut off and loses his trust funds and etc and he’s a guy who’s tryna raise his two kids he loves with all his heart and his darling wife he’d die for but also they’re barely getting by so megumi takes up a barista job to help out. cue an obnoxious gojo that comes right before closing and orders the most painful drink to make and always pays with a black card and megumi is ANNOYED™️ but gojo takes a liking to the kid and megs off handedly mentions he wants to get a second job over the summer so gojo offers an internship—and then it’s like a slap in the zenin fams face that their (cut off) relative is working with the gojo’s (their mortal enemy !!) and toji could not be more proud LOL

OK OK DAMN PUT THE GUN DOWN-/silly

-Loui has a weird habit of hanging off edge of the couch and just staring into the soul of whoever makes eye contact with him. Those that are close to him know that it isn't a stare of malicious intent, and think it's adorable. Those that ain't close to him, fear that they are going to get killed in their sleep.

-Loui can make some DAMN good food okay!? He's really good at cooking, and is one of the main cooks of the Statehouse. He mainly cooks southern and Cajun food, but he's not opposed to Spanish food or other cuisine (like Italian, German, Asian, ect...). Hes very open to trying new stuff.

-he carries around this notebook and keeps recipes and notes in it (tho a few other states think that it is full of spells and curses):

-Loui mainly speaks French, but he learned Spanish from Florida, Vietnamese from Sippi and Texas, Dutch from NY, and Gaelic from Mass. He also used what he knew about Dutch and whatever he picked up from PA to teach himself German.

-Texas took Loui to meet his horses, and Loui both loved it and was terrified. Eventually tho, Texas taught Loui how to trick-ride and was very patient and kind when Loui was scared to try something. Now they both give Kentucky, Florida, Sippi, and Mass heart attacks :3

-Loui can distort his voice and make it glitch, along with himself. He often uses this when threatening people and trying to scare them. Sometimes tho, he does it unintentionally and that can be annoying.

-he bites as a form of affection. He can also bite as a defence, but it is usually affectionate. He'll just sneak up on somebody he loves and bite their shoulder, arm, or neck (not in a sexual way-). But wave your finger in front of his face teasingly and youre gonna have to hope that you don't lose it.

-so his hair is naturally curly, but sometimes he puts it into braids or dreads and will put beads (usually Mardi Gras themed to match his necklace), flowers, or dainty little gold/silver pieces in it.

-he tattoos himself and draws on himself alot. Sometimes, Florida, Sippi, Texas, Mass, York and Georgia will let him draw on them since they trust him and he's good at it.

-Loui is ✨B E N D Y✨. Just at any second, he could drop into a split or backbend. He hides in cupboards if York isnt already occupying them.

-This mf may be lanky af, but he is REALLY strong. Just ask Texas and Alaska. They'll begrudgingly tell you all about it.

-because he mostly uses his hands for magic, hands very from either being too numb, or too sensitive. Sometimes he can barely feel them and has to check that they're still there (he knows they are, but still-). Other times, they are way too sensitive to pain and touch. If he burns his hand on something, he will be cradling his hand and possibly crying for a bit, and if Florida decides to be a little sh*t and swipe a finger down his palm, he will be blushing and trying to not laugh cuz it tickles him a little bit.

-I imagine Loui's singing voice to sound like a mixture of Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco's lead singer), Tom Rosenthal, and XXXTentacion. Idk bro. You ask for random I give you random.

-ive said it before and I'll say it again. DON'T give this man a gun. Even Florida won't.

-He is somehow a bit afraid of fire and is a pyromaniac. He sees fire and is like-"Eh no touch....But touch- but hot and dangerous- But touch and play-"

Usually stepdad Leon is so teasing and smug towards her but now? Now he feels like he’s literally melting on the inside from how pure and cute she looks in her little apron🥹 Let’s say for example she’s making some strawberry shortcake cuz she’s craving some, and her back is facing Leon, whisking away some whipped cream while the cake is baking in the oven. She’s humming a tune and gently swaying her body to it, generally having a good time and being oblivious to her stepdad standing at the entrance behind her.

Now usually, seeing her in that cute apron would make him go wild but during this moment, he prob lowkey wishes he married her instead- LIKE SIR CALM DOWN PLS. He can’t help it tho, she just looks so sweet and loving and motherly and cute and UGH, he wants to keep her aalllll to himself :( after standing there and admiring her for a while, Leon walks towards her and just wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her close to him and gives small kisses on her neck and shoulders IM-

both versions r meant to be like murder mysteries yk?? and they're both set in time settings where it's not quite the future, but im also not a historian so they're also not completely historically accurate T-T they just take place in the past LMFAO but the original ver is more like dark academia centered where the murder takes place at this elitist academy/boarding school in the middle of nowhere, and reader is like a "charity case" whose uncle took her under his wing after her parents were murdered or something, and changmin is like studying to become a physician and they both get looped into the investigation. i have a some written of that ver but it's not very interesting 💀

AND recently like two days ago 💀 i went back to one of the ideas i had for the banner before i started writing the dark academia one (wow that's such a long sentence). anyways, said idea was to take place in like ,, not a school 🤡 but idk if you've read the stalking jack the ripper series but it's based on that !!
