So why does your life flash before you die??

The post I saw talking about it said it’s your brain making a last ditch effort to grasp onto some experience that can help you. It explained it like as you grow older if you drop something your brain will subconsciously brings memories back and then react appropriately to the situation, since it’s happened before. When you’re young and have never experienced what to do/how to react when you drop something your brain doesn’t have those memories to help. So of course, when it tries to do this during a near death experience, it finds nothing because you haven’t ever experienced death. (IDK IF THIS IS TRUE OF IF I EXPLAINED IT RIGHT! DONT TAKE THIS FACT!)

My google search gave me some scientific jargon and something something about memories, so I have no idea if it’s confirming this idea or not

So the Rewrite the Stars AU is pretty well-known and well-developed… do you write chapters for it like @annymation? Do you do little blurbs accompanied by pictures? Or is it just thought dumps that form a rewrite when combined with other thought dumps?

mostly just doodles/concept art and thought dumps, but I DO plan to make it into a proper project soon! Just need some help to iron out plot things a bit more first, and I actually opened auditions for the project version of it over on YouTube ! :3 though if it doesn’t become a proper audio project it could at least be made into a fic/get made into chapters, either option I’m fine with, but as I said I’d still need to work out the kinks in the story department a bit more first before doing any of that ^^;

I think it's funny how I'll be building up a new character in my head and after the first basic details it usually devolves into figuring out what kinda power/ability fits them/would be cool and putting them in combat situations sometimes I feel bad but at the end of the day I am an action junkie so I should just embrace it

I just remembered! That my dream was helpful enough to give me something neat for Alerik! My dream overall was really messy but one scenario in it was about this group of friends where one of them has the power to summon gods so long as he knows their name or appearance. So then, one of his friends was like: "What if we summon Alerik?" and the guy was like: "We don't know his true name, that's just one of his many names."

And then another friend was like: "What about appearance then? We know what she looks like." and then another friend answered that one instead like: "No, his appearance changes with our perception, we don't know what they actually look like." And then my dream changed during then but that's a really! neat thing to add to Alerik! I'm doing it!
