My World (Negan Smith x Reader !DAUGHTER OF RICK!)
Tumblr media
*SO I MADE THIS FOREVER AGO AND I WANTED TO FINISH IT AND UPLOAD IT... I HOPE Y'ALL ENJOY, PART 2 IS IN A LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY*
You had been with Negan and his group for the last ten months and you knew Negan wasn't the cleanest man on earth. You knew he was doing things... Horrific things to people but you try to turn a blind eye to it. Negan was the best thing that had happened to you since the apocalypse happened. You were alone up until Negan found you on the verge of starving to death.
And over the months your and Negan's relationship had blossomed into something unexpected. He was a lot older than you. You were twenty-six years old and Negan was forty-five... I mean hell he was older than your father would be... Your father...
You were in college when the apocalypse broke out and you prayed your family was okay. After a while, you finally made it back to your family's home to find it completely ransacked and everybody was missing. You went to the hospital where you heard your father was staying after his accident but you didn't even attempt to go inside as it was completely guarded by the dead.
But everything seemed to be okay now... You stayed out of Negan's business as much as you could but today was different. "I need you to go," Negan says. "Why? You have Simon and all your men why do you need me?" You ask while crossing your arms over your chest.
"We made a deal with these people but they're on the more dangerous side than most people we've dealt with. We need everybody." He explains and you sigh deeply. "I don't want to be involved with your 'business deals' Negan. You know how I feel about it." You say with a shrug. "And I don't believe these people willingly made a deal with you either." You say while raising your eyebrows and he chuckles slightly. "Alright, you got me there." He says while standing up from his seat. "These people killed a whole outpost of men for their supplies so we gave them an option of... We raid their shit and we let them live." He shrugs. "No harm, no foul." He says while grabbing your waist and pulling you closer to him. "I just want everybody there in case shit hits the fan. We need to defend ourselves." Negan explains.
"Mhm... What's the actual reason you want me to go? Because we both know I'm only good at killing the dead ones... Not the live ones." You say while squinting your eyes at him. He stares at you for a moment before sighing deeply with a smirk. "You see right through me every time.." He chuckles. "...You're going to be here all by yourself. I don't want you to be alone if something happens here. At least I know if you came with me I can protect you." He says while leaning his forehead against yours.
You clenched your jaw and slightly glared at him before groaning out a 'fine'. He smiled and placed a kiss on your forehead. "Let's get going then."
When you made it out to the trucks Negan ordered you to stay inside of the car until the gates were open. When you made it to the place called Alexandria you sat in the truck with one of Negan's men. You weren't paying attention entirely until the man dropped a heavy gun in your lap. You had no idea how to use it so it was clear it was given to you for threatening purposes. "It's safe now." The man says. You nodded and took a step out of the truck, the man following your steps on the other side.
You were looking down at the ground as you took a few steps. You finally looked up and looked at the people around the gate. There was a woman who looked hardcore and angry and a man who looked confused and kinda wimpy... Then your eyes landed on another man. Your eyes widened as your brain processed what you were seeing, hoping it wasn't another hallucination that you saw so much when you were dehydrated.
But you weren't dehydrated and this wasn't a hallucination. Your lips parted as a soft gasp escaped your lips. The gun you were holding onto fell from your hands and that's when you finally got the man's attention. Your body shook as he gave you a look of confusion into a look of disbelief, the same look you gave him. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes as your body shook from the feeling of adrenalin and pure shock coursing through your veins.
Negan looked at you and then at him, confused about what was going on, and that's when you let out a shaky breath, "Dad?" You mumble. "Oh my god.." He whispered. You let out a shaky chuckle as tears finally fell from your eyes. "DAD!" You yelled as you ran full force towards him. Your arms swung open and wrapped around his neck as his arms slung tightly around your body. Your legs shook as you were barely able to keep yourself upright... If it wasn't for his tight grip on you, you would've fallen to the floor. You cried into his shoulder and held onto him tightly before pulling away. "I thought you were dead." You managed to choke out.
Negan stared at you both in disbelief and horror. He also felt stupid for not putting two and two together since you both had the same last name. "Is Carl...?" He nodded. "He's alive." You sigh in relief as a smile appears on your face. "And mom?" You ask. He just stares at you. Your smile slowly fades as you cover your mouth with your hand in disbelief. You let out a shaky 'oh' as you pulled away.
Your father's eyes flicked from you to Negan before looking back at you. "You're with him?" He asks. You nod your head as you wipe a tear that fell from your eyes. "How 'bout you go around Alexandria and look for your brother? Me and your dad have some things to discuss." Negan says while getting behind you and grabbing your shoulders and giving Rick a teasing smile. "Yeah... Yeah, that's a good idea." Rick says while glaring at Negan. You walked away from Negan's grip and you walked around the streets, getting the occasional glare from some of the people that live in Alexandria which made you frown.
But as you walked your eyes fell on a boy walking down the steps from his porch. You squinted your eyes and tried to make out the face of the person. It was hard to tell at first since he had a patch over his eye but you’d recognized that face anywhere.
You smiled and yelled out his name. He looked around for a moment before turning in your direction, his eyes falling onto yours. You smiled as his face turned from confusion to disbelief. With adrenaline coursing through your veins you ran towards him full force. He did the same and you both met in between and practically collapsed into each other. You both kept each other on your feet as you hugged each other tightly. After a minute you pulled away and cupped his face, tears going down both of your faces. “You’ve grown so much.” You chuckle. “I thought you were dead,” Carl says with a slight gasp. “Can’t get rid of me that easily little brother.” You say with a chuckle. You look at the patch on his eye and you slightly frown. “What happened?” You ask your thumb lightly brushing against the edge of it.
“I was shot,” Carl explains. Your eyes widen and you laugh. “You were shot in the face and you survived?! Holy shit I wish Dad informed me how much of a badass you were before I found you.” He chuckles. His eyes then glance to the ground and his smile disappears, he seems to be lost in thought. His eyes flicked back up to you and he sighed. “I have to show you something,” Carl says while backing off and walking back towards the house he came out of.
You follow him into the house and up the stairs. Carl stops in front of a door that was off to the side and he slowly opens it. Your eyes travel to the inside of the room until you see a little girl in a crib. You take a few steps inside and slightly gasp. “Who’s this?” You ask while walking towards her. “That’s Judith. Our sister.” Your head snapped towards him and your eyes widen. “Is that how mom…” He didn’t say anything which was an answer in itself. You nodded and looked back at the little girl. You chuckle and lifted her out of the crib and held her against your body. “Oh my… You are gorgeous.” You say while admiring her little face. But the moment was ruined by the sound of doors slamming open and people talking loudly downstairs. “Hide her.” Carl orders. You quickly put Judith down and left the room with Carl, shutting the door right on time as Simon came running up the steps.
He eyed you and Carl and you both kept your composure. “Everything good up here?” He asks. “Yes. Everything’s fine.” You say with a slight smile. He glanced at the door next to you both and gave you another weird look. “What’s in there?” Simon asks while nodding to the door. “Nothing. The room is empty. Carl was giving me a tour of his home and he offered to let me stay in this room when they get it furnished.” You say with a stern tone of voice.
“Hm... You should talk to Negan about that.” You wanted to argue back and say you were a grown woman and didn’t need his permission but you decided it would be best to keep your mouth shut in this situation. “Come on Carl. Let’s go downstairs.” You say while putting your arm around Carl’s shoulders and pulling him forward, not keeping your eyes off Simon until you went past him. When you made it downstairs Carl was staring in horror at the people in his home taking pretty much everything. “They’re taking all of our medicine,” Carl says. “We hid them here because they said they’d only take half,” Carl says while pulling away from you. “Carl-“ “No!” Carl yelled while grabbing a gun and going after them. “Carl DON’T-!” But it was too late.
A gunshot rang through the air causing you to jump. You quickly ran into the room and luckily everyone was okay, but Carl had a gun to one of Negan’s men. “Put them back, or the next one goes in you.” Carl threatens. “Kid… What do you think happens next?” The man laughed. “Carl.” You managed to get yourself in between the gun and the man and you were trying to calm him down. “Get out of the way.” “Carl don’t.” You warned. “Move.” “If you don’t put the gun down the punishment will be-“ You stopped yourself as you saw your dad running into the room, you knew Negan wasn’t too far behind so you kept your mouth shut.
Your father tried talking the same sense to Carl as Negan walked in. His eyes darted between the gun and you and he knew he had to intervene. Negan walked over to you both and stood next to you and got into Carl's line of sight. Negan chuckles. "Really kid?" He says with a smirk.
"You should go... Before you find out how dangerous we all are." Carl warns. You swallowed the lump in your throat and gave him a pleading look. "Well pardon me, young man, excuse the shit out of my goddamn French but... Did you just threaten me?" Negan asks. "Look I get threatening Davie here... But I can't have it, not him, not me-" "Carl just put it down-" "Don't be rude Rick we are having a conversation here." Your father and Negan argue back and forth. You continue to stare at Carl with pleading eyes as you knew if Carl pushed his limits or broke a rule no amount of begging would stop Negan... Not even for you. "Now boy... Where were we?" He asks.
"Oh yeah! Your giant man-sized balls. No threatening us. Listen I like you... I don't want to go hard proving a point here, especially in front of the lady here, and you don't want that. I said half your shit and half is what I say it is." Negan says in more of a more serious tone of voice. "I'm serious. Do you want me to prove how serious... Again?" Negan warns.
Carl stares at him then looks at you. You shook your head slightly and he sighed deeply. He moved his hand so the handle of the gun was facing you. Your trembling hands slowly grabbed the gun from his hands and held it to your side.
Negan turned to your father and started ranting to him and you grabbed Carl's shoulders. "What the hell is wrong with you?" You whisper to him. "They were taking our stuff," Carl argued. "You can always get that shit back! He'll kill you or someone else here and you can't get back." You hissed at him. "And you.." Negan turned to you both. You turned your head to him and saw him staring at you. He lifted his hand and wiggled his pointer and middle finger towards you telling you to give him the gun. You handed him the gun and he put it in his pocket.
"Rick go and get that stuff together for me will ya? And you... Come with me." He says while not moving his gaze from yours. You nodded and followed him out of the home. You followed him down the street and in between some houses. He then suddenly spun around and grabbed your arms softly. "I don't want you doing that shit again," Negan says sternly. "I knew he wasn't going to shoot me." You argued. Negan shook his head and sighed deeply. "I do not care. There is no damn reason for you to EVER stand in front of a gun. Ever." He says with a shake of his head. "Scared the hell out of me." He says while placing a kiss on your temple.
"I'm sorry.." You say with a frown. "Don't be sorry. I know you were trying to de-escalate the situation and I respect that... I just don't want you to get hurt." He says while cupping your face with his hands. "He's my brother. He wouldn't have hurt me." "I can't take that chance." He shakes his head. "I don't care if there's a 99% chance or a 0.01% chance. It's not an option." He says. “Understand?” He asks. You nodded and he smiled.
He kissed you on the cheek and pulled you in for a hug. You both stayed like that for a moment before Negan pulled away, giving you a tight squeeze before letting you move away from him. “Let’s go darlin’,” Negan says while lightly placing his hand on your lower back and leading you along.
You walked with Negan until you met up with your father and some of Negan’s men in front of a small bunker. The door to the bunker slowly opens to show a woman. “I… Figured you were coming.” She says nervously. “Show him where the guns are, Olivia.” Your father says. She nodded and you all walked inside. “You run the show in here?” Negan asks. “I just keep track of it all, the rations, the guns,” She explains. “Good. Smart. Don’t let me stop you. Arat, boys... Show ‘em the goods.” He smirks as everyone walks off. “Wait, wait, wait.” Negan stops your father.
“While they’re at it, I just want to point out to you that I’m not taking a scrap of your food. Slim pickin’s in here.” Negan says while pointing out the little to no food on the shelves. “And I can’t be the only one to notice that you got a fuckin’ fat lady in charge of keeping track of rations can I?” Negan says and you turn to him, “Negan.” You smack his arm and he puts his hands up. “Am I wrong?” He asks. “Yes. Don’t be an asshole.” You roll your eyes. He chuckles and slightly leans into Rick, “She keeps me on my toes.” Rick glares at him and he slightly leans back.
Negan looks at Rick, then at you, then at Rick again. “Y’know I just realized… We’re family now aren’t we?” You closed your eyes and cringed. “I mean… Should I call you dad or something?” Negan asks while slowly dragging his arm over your shoulder and pulling you close to his side.
Rick’s eyes flicked over to you and you swallowed another ball in your throat and you let out a deep sigh. “Right?” Negan asks. “Stop.” You whisper to him while giving him a pleading look. He wanted to keep going just to poke the bear some more but he didn’t want to continue if you were uncomfortable. He cared more for your feelings than his ego. “…Either way, you starve to death, I don’t get shit, so for now, you get to keep all the food. How ‘bout that?” Negan says, still keeping his arm around your shoulders.
Negan and Rick stare at each other for a few moments. A very awkward few moments. “What do you want me to say?” “I don’t know, Rick. How about a thank you.” Negan says while moving away from you and getting into your father’s face. “You think that might be in order? Or is that too much to ask?!” Negan yells. “Jesus stop!” You grab Negan’s arm and push him away from your father.
“Haven’t you done enough?” “All I’m asking for is a thank you.” You scoff. “I think we both know they have nothing to be thanking you for.” You shake your head at him before walking out of the bunker and down the streets of Alexandria. You stopped in front of Rick and Carl’s home and you sat on the steps, rethinking everything.
You placed your elbow on your knee and rested your forehead in your hand. You sat like that for a while before a familiar figure walked into your view. They stood there for a moment before slowly sitting next to you on the steps. “You angry with me?” He asks. You sigh and close your eyes. “What do you think?” You say with an annoyed tone of voice. “Why?” You turn to glare at him. “Why? Are you kidding me?” You say. “Is it because of Rick?” Negan asks. “Jesus no!” You yell. “…Well it doesn’t help.” You say while looking forward. “You know I don’t like being a part of this shit. I don’t like seeing this side of you... Especially since I know you did something bad to these people.” You say with your voice slightly cracking as tears filled in your eyes. You shake your head, not wanting to ask this question but you feel you have no choice.
“What did you do? I’m going to hear it from somebody so it might as well be from you.” He stares at you, he didn’t want you to find out. “I killed two of their people in front of them. One of them had a wife and she was sick. She witnessed it all… She didn’t make it.” Your mouth flew agape and your body tensed.
“Oh my god… And you expect a ‘thank you’ from these people!?” You stand on your feet and glare at him. “You say people are a resource and need to be protected but it’s all a lie!” You shout. “It’s not a lie.” He stands up to meet your level but instead, he just towers over you, making you feel inferior to him.
“People are a resource and need to be protected but rules need to be set and if they are broken there are punishments.” He argues. “And killing people in the answer?” You scoff. “You’re torturing these poor people and for what? Surviving?” “Killing off my men. That’s what.” He hisses while stepping forward and getting in your face. “Not like your men didn’t deserve it anyways. Most of them are criminals, rapists, or killers. But I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree does it?” You say while slowly looking at him up and down. Negan was seething, nobody spoke to him like this and he was getting pissed. “Watch your mouth.” “Or what? You’ll kill me?” You chuckled. “You don’t got the balls.” You hissed. It took all his might to not snap and lash out at you but he realized that it wouldn’t fix anything and you had every right to be angry.
But that doesn’t mean he won’t be any less angry with your words. “I have done everything for you. I have fought for you, I have killed for you, I put food in your belly and a roof over your head. I deserve goddamn respect.” He said in a low and threatening tone of voice. You shake your head. “I never asked you to save me.” You say, tears threatening to fall from your eyes.
“What did you expect me to do? Leave you there to die?” “You should’ve. It would’ve been easier for the both of us.” You snapped back. Negan leans back and stares at you in disbelief.
You didn’t mean what you said, you were thankful Negan saved your life. You remember the day he found you. You were in a gas station and you had been sitting there for about a day or two just waiting to die. Your face was pale and you were practically skin and bones. You were sitting in the backroom in the dark when you heard a roar of an engine and footsteps entering the building. You didn’t have the energy to get up and find them and your throat was too dry to call out for help, so you sat there until the door opened and the light of a flashlight crawled up your body and landed on your face. You cringed and looked away from the light. The person who was shining a light called a name and another pair of footsteps entered the room. That was when the person shining the light lowered it and you made eye contact with the man who walked in the room. “Holy shit... Are you alive?” He chuckled, getting closer to you.
His smile disappeared when he saw how sick you looked. He walked over to you and knelt at your level. “I’m Negan.” He says. You gave him a slightly confused look and Negan sighs. “Simon. Go get some water.” He orders while still staring down at you.
Simon quickly came back into the room with a water bottle and handed him the bottle. He opened it and he snaked his hand behind your neck and lifted you. You slightly groan as he pulls your head forward in front of the bottle. Your lips touched the bottle and slowly gulped down the water. If you weren’t so dehydrated there was a good chance you would’ve cried.
When you needed a break you moved your head back and leaned back against the wall. “Y/N.” You mumbled. “What?” Negan asks as you barely let out a whisper. “…My name is Y/N Grimes.” You say while shifting around. “How long have you been here?” Negan asks. “A couple of days…” You say before letting out a hoarse cough. Negan lifts the bottle back to your lips and you take a few more gulps. “Is there anyone else around here?” He asks. You shake your head, “No. I’ve been alone since the beginning of the apocalypse.” You explain. His eyes widen and he scoffs with a smirk. “No shit? Wow. Good for you for lasting so long.” He says with a wide smile.
“Yeah… It gets lonely though.” You say while lifting the corner of your lips to smile slightly. Negan stared at you for another minute before mumbling an ‘alright’ and closing the water bottle and handing it back to Simon. He stands up slightly and begins to put his hands under your knees and behind your back. “What… What are you doing?” You ask. “I’m going to take you back to my camp. We have a doctor and food and water..” He explains. “…Why? You don’t know me.” You ask. “People are a resource. They need to be protected… And you won't survive much longer if I leave you here.” He explains. You nodded and he continued to pick you up.
You groaned as your body ached. Your muscles were so tense from sitting there for so long that just a slight movement caused your whole body to ache in pain. “We’ll get you patched up... It’ll be okay.”
And here you are… Many months later arguing with the man who saved your life. He stared down at you and he clenched his jaw. You could see on his face he wasn’t angry anymore, he was hurt. You didn’t expect it to hurt him in all honesty because Negan has been told a lot worse than what you said. But it did hurt him... And he didn’t know what to do about it. He sighed and looked around for a moment. “Head over to the truck.. We’re going to be leaving in a few minutes.” Was the only thing he managed to get out. Without looking at you he walks down the steps of the porch and down the street.
You stifled a sob and wiped the tears that had fallen down your face. After you pulled yourself together you walked over to the truck and saw David in the face of a young girl. “Say please again, little girl.” He chuckles. The girl lets out a ‘please’ and he smirks. “Yeah. One more time.” He says while running his finger down her cheek.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” You yell out as you storm over to him. His head shoots towards you and you shove him away from the girl. “Who do you think you are?” David asks as he gets in your face. “Someone who will gladly put some fucker out of their misery.” You snapped back. “Now piss off.” You hissed. He glared at you and tried to walk away but you stopped him. You put our hand out, telling him to give you the item the girl wanted. He grumbled something under his breath and shoved the item in your hand. David walked away and you turned to the girl. “I’m sorry that happened…” You whisper as you handed her back the balloons. You squeezed her shoulder before walking off and following the truck.
“Get in the truck Y/N. Me and daddy dearest here gotta talk.” Negan says without looking at you. You glared at him and you were about to oblige his orders and get in the truck but you stopped yourself. You turned on your heel and walked over to your father and swung your arms over his shoulders. You both hugged each other tightly before Carl found his way under your arm and hugged you and your father as well.
When you finally pulled away you rested one hand on your father’s shoulder and the other on the side of Carl’s face. You gave them a soft smile as tears filled in all of your eyes. “I’ll be back. I promise.” You say in a low tone of voice as you run your thumb over Carl’s cheek to wipe away the tear that fell from his eye.
You give them another small smile before turning and walking away. Negan watched you closely as you walked past him, wiping your tears in the process. You sat in the van and stared down at the ground, trying not to cry anymore in the process. During the minutes of you sitting there, you looked over and saw Negan taunting your father. You balled your fists up and sighed in annoyance. You wanted to get out of the car and yell at Negan but you didn’t have the energy. You heard Negan chuckle as finally peeled himself away from your father and he got in the van next to you, Lucille in his hands. You looked down at your hands and furrowed your eyebrows. You didn’t want to even look at Negan... But you knew he was looking at you.
He made occasional glances at you in an obvious manner. He wanted your attention and in all honesty, he wanted you to feel slightly bad for what you said to him. But you never looked at him. Not even when you made it to the sanctuary and walked past him to get inside.
You ignored everybody and headed to your shared bedroom. When you finally made it to the bedroom that’s when you realized that the sun was setting and you sighed in relief. You were exhausted and you wanted nothing more than to fall into your bed and sleep the day away. You sat on the edge of the bed and buried your face in your hands. You sat for a while until you heard your bedroom door opening and closing. You glance up and saw Negan leaning against the doorframe and staring at you.
You wipe the tears that had fallen from your eyes and look to the side. Negan stares at you for a few more seconds before sighing and lightly smiling to himself, clearly thinking of a memory.
“Y’know… I remember the first time I saw you.” He says. “You were so frail and sick looking.” He says while slowly walking towards you. “I was worried if I touched you, you would shatter like a piece of glass.” He continues walking towards you. You look up at up and look at him through your hair. “But I knew you were a fighter. And even if I had left you there you would’ve fought yourself back to survival.” He says while kneeling in front of you. “Who would’ve thought you would fight yourself into my heart.” He says with a soft smile and gently tucking your hair behind your ear.
You look down at him with tears in your eyes and a frown on your face. “There’s no way I could’ve left you there because..” He sighs before continuing. “I fell in love with you the first time I saw you.” He says while resting his hand against your cheek and wiping the tears that had fallen.
“Look… You and I are not easy people to deal with. And together it’s even more difficult... But I wouldn’t change a thing.” He says while shaking his head, a soft smile on his lips. A small cry came out of my mouth and I close my eyes, "I-I didn't mean what I said... I didn't... I'm glad you found me I...* You say, your words stuttering a bit. "I know... I know baby..." Negan whispered while moving his hand up to wipe the tears off your cheeks.
"I just... I hate seeing this side of you, and knowing you're doing this to my family..." You say before taking a deep and shaky breath. "It hurts..." You mutter, just barely over a whisper. Negan frowns, "I know... But I have to be cruel to keep them in line." Negan says. You shake my head, "No... No, you don't." You say. Negan sighs, "Baby. Listen to me." Negan says while grabbing your cheeks between his hands, "I promise you... I won't hurt your family. I take my promises seriously and you know that." Negan says.
You nod and sniffle, "...Okay." I mumble. "Alright... Now come here...* Negan says while putting his arms out to you. You get off the bed and onto the floor in front of him and hug his torso tightly. He hugs you back tightly and lovingly. Negan would keep his promise... He wouldn't hurt your family, but everyone else in Alexandria was up for grabs... One thing Negan knew how to do...
Was how to manipulate.

pairing: nishimura riki x gn!reader
genre: fluff
warning: not proofread (may be minor typos)
request: " Heyy!! Could i request a Ni-ki as your bf ? "
a/n: thank you so much anon for requesting it, I hope you liked this <3
Tumblr media
the best friend sort of boyfriend
you and riki are that comfortable with one another that he feel more like your friend alot of the time, sometimes it slips your mind you're actually dating him
super playful boyfriend, he's always teasing you or play fighting you because he loves to hear the sound of your laughter
will either be sending you a bunch of memes and tiktoks or he could actually not text you for the entire day because he was gaming, there's no in between with him
you're his gaming partner by default now (I hope you're good because you've got yourself quite the competitive boyfriend) but if you're not the best gamer out there then he's definitely gonna teach you
he's always telling you stories about his family or the other members because those are the most important people in his life
you get riki's lover wardrobe privileges
I'm talking full access to his closet, he gives you free reign to pick whatever of his you want and you get to wear it, the bonus is that it smells like him too :)
arcade dates >>>
and just fun and active dates in general like amusement parks, go karting and etc are guaranteed to be the best time spent with riki
he may have a whole bunch of beautiful pictures of you but that's just about 30% of it, the rest of the 70% is unfortunately crack, 'unflattering' candid photos he's taken of you when you weren't paying attention
he will use those meme photos of you to post on your birthday but you also have a bunch of embarrassing photos to use against him too
best believe if you aren't pranking other people together then he's probably planning to prank you
not sure whether he loves you or your bed more because he's always sleeping there
sometimes he calls you on video call just to see your face and say nothing at all after that, you both probably end up falling asleep on that call but he also took a few screenshots too because you sleeping was just too adorable
late night walks with him and then proceeding to take a whole bunch of pictures together because you're a photogenic couple
not necessarily the best at comforting you with warm words but is better at making you laugh until you feel better
most likely has your name saved as something humorous instead of cute and romantic but honestly speaking, you probably do too
would have this little habit of holding onto your pinky or linking your pinkies together
makes sure to call you every day or send you videos of his adventures while he's on tour
you had once hand made a little bracelet for him and he has never taken it off since then because it holds alot of sentiment for him
has a whole playlist dedicated to you too specially curated with songs you both enjoy or remind him of you
calling each other "bro", "dude" and "bruh" affectionately is normalised in your relationship
doesn't like to admit it but it's pretty clear he's quite clingy with you, he's always around you because even a second away he forgets how to breathe, not my words but his
he is OBSESSED with kissing you, he is always showering you with kisses and hugs in a passive aggressive way
going shopping together has become a form of a date between you both too
having similar styles, you're both able to help each other pick outfits and accessories that compliment one another
"Riki, would you love me if I was a worm?"
"Bisco might end up accidentally eating you, I can't let you suffer that way... let's just be boneless and limbless together. Then have a worm wedding :)"

Contrary to what some people believed, you weren’t an idiot.
You had known the risks of openly defying Silco’s orders. You had known he was serious when he threatened to leak the details of your history - the business half of it - to the Piltover Council. You had known how poorly he was going to take it when you ended your deal and kicked him out of the Haven.
But you had done it all anyway.
Silco had promised to destroy your life and, so far, he seemed to be dedicated to keeping that promise. He released just enough about your working relationship to confirm that you were working together. He hadn’t released anything that implied you were sleeping together, but there were people who had speculated based on the information they had. The worst was that they weren’t wrong.
As expected, the Piltover Council had canceled the task force. Piltover-Undercity relations would have to struggle along as they always had, apparently. Without you to provide a moral link between the academics of Piltover and the needy people of the Undercity, the Council had elected to scrap the project entirely.
They had been fairly polite about it, at least. They had cited a questionable business connection for their reasoning and left it at that. Since Silco wasn’t officially doing anything illegal, a link between him and the Haven shouldn’t have been a dealbreaker. But since everyone knew that Silco was a major force behind Shimmer, that was all the evidence the Piltover Council had needed to make their decision.
No, you hadn't been surprised by the way things had gone, but you would be lying if you said you weren't disappointed. Even with all of your logic and pragmatism, some tiny part of you had hoped that the Piltover Council would say it didn't matter, or allow you to make your case.
Instead, you were left to gather the pieces of a life that Silco had done his best to destroy. Donations to the Haven had dried up - you hadn't heard from HexTech yet, but the steady stream of smaller, private donors was gone.
The lack of donations put strain on the Haven, but not nearly as much as your sudden personnel issues did. When the news about your ties to Silco had first broken, the people who helped you run the Haven tried to close ranks around you. They assured you that everyone knew it was a lie and that they didn’t believe a single word of it.
Admitting that it was true had been one of the most difficult conversations of your life. The disbelief turned to disappointment, then to discomfort as everyone had left the room.
Everyone except Arunn.
“It isn’t true,” he had insisted.
“I haven’t been entirely honest with you. With any of you. But I’m not going to lie, not about this and especially not now.” You had shaken your head slowly, trying to keep from spiraling into self-loathing. “I accepted a donation from him when we were desperate for donors. And then I met with him while he worked to keep the Haven from being attacked a second time.”
Arunn’s face had twisted like he was fighting back tears. “How?”
“The security officers,” you explained. “I didn’t have the money to hire them, not with such an influx of new patients, and-”
“No,” Arunn interrupted. “How could you work with that… monster? How could you work with him - let him fund all of this - knowing that he was the reason why these people are here?”
Guilt writhed in your guts. “It seemed like the least he could do. Help clean up the mess he had made, you know?”
“He took everything from me,” Arunn whispered. “I had a career before Shimmer. I had a family. And Silco did everything but feed it to me himself. How could you accept money from him? A man who has ruined so many lives?”
You had been struck silent at the raw pain in his voice. But Arunn wasn’t done. He gave you a last baleful look. “Did you ever care about us at all? About me?”
“Arunn…”
He had shaken your hand off of his shoulder and stormed out. That was the last time you had seen him.
Hope filled you when you were called to one of the Haven’s meeting rooms a few days after your confrontation with Arunn. You wondered if he had decided to forgive you, to reconcile. It would be a relief to have a friend by your side while your life burned. However, it was not Arunn waiting for you, but Jazper.
You would think you would have realized that hope was not an overly kind emotion for someone whose life was in the state that yours was.
“Jazper,” you greeted, wary but striving for pleasant. “Good to see you.”
He laughed bitterly and any remaining happiness left you. Clearly, this was not meant to be a pleasant, friendly visit.
“I can’t stay long,” he told you. “It’s not good for anyone’s image to be seen spending much time with you.”
That hurt more than you wanted to admit, so you silently inclined your head. When you took a seat, Jazper sat across the table from you.
“I thought you should know that Arunn has gotten a job working for Ronid. With his apartment complex getting ready to open, he needed the help and Arunn has been a great fit.”
“He's an excellent worker,” you agreed numbly.
“Yes.” Jazper eyed you for a moment. “The rest of the Undercity Innovation Committee has requested that you forfeit your seat.”
That forced a mirthless laugh from you. “Sorry. It's just entertaining that an association with Silco is enough to get me banned from the Committee when you had all pushed to get him a seat. Will it be awkward with him there?”
“Silco has been asked to forfeit his seat as well,” Jazper told you.
A crooked smile curved your lips at the idea of that, but you managed not to say anything.
“The fact that he had allowed the neighborhood around the Haven to exist without Shimmer was what recommended him in the first place.” Jazper sighed, allowing his head to dip toward the surface of the table. “After finding out that all of it was because of a deal between you two? No one is in favor of you both sitting on the Committee.”
“Of course not,” you said, a hint of bitterness creeping into your tone. “They're all pure and innocent, able to keep their businesses afloat with hard work and determination and…. What would you estimate? A fortune each from their families, friends, and Piltover government officials?”
Jazper shook his head, but you noticed that it was his turn to struggle for words. “That isn’t fair. Cipanni builds only on her previous successes. Micah and Nami-”
The way you slammed your hands against the surface of the table cut him off mid-sentence. “I am watching everything I’ve worked toward for years fall to pieces because Silco decided to be petty. Never accuse me of being unfair again, Jazper. If anything, think of that unfairness as the excess reflecting off of my life.”
“I understand your frustration,” Jazper agreed at last.
“Frustration?” You had taken a sip of water and your glass landed more heavily on the table than you had planned. Jazper winced. “I’m frustrated, of course, but this is more than irritation. I am losing everything, Jazper. Half of my volunteer staff has resigned. Arunn is gone, but before he left, he accused of betraying him and every one of the people I am trying to help. I don’t know what I could have done differently, but I’m not sure he’s wrong. The guilt of it all is eating away at me. Frustrated? Yes, of course I am. But I am in mourning, not about my own losses, but my inability to help the people of the Undercity.”
“I understand.” You snorted, staring down at the table’s surface after your speech, but Jazper kept talking. “No, I truly do. You aren’t the only one who Silco has forced connections with.”
You stared at him, aghast. “You?”
“Me,” Jazper told you with a rueful smile. “Silco claimed that he could not allow me to continue operating unless he had a way of controlling my business. Tell me, did he threaten to burn down the Haven? That’s what he did with Stonesea.”
“More than once.”
Jazper nodded. “I gave in almost immediately. He is not a man one is allowed to refuse, not if one wants to continue living.”
For a wild moment, you wondered if Jazper was trying to tell you that he had been sleeping with Silco, too. Fortunately, you didn’t ask that aloud. After all, Silco’s donation was the control he wanted. Sleeping with him was how you convinced him to keep Shimmer off the streets. It all contributed to your moral corruption, of course, but you liked to keep the halves separate in your mind.
Abruptly, the weight of the world settled on your shoulders as you realized that Jazper’s revelation didn’t matter.
“Then you should tread carefully,” you told him flatly. “If Silco made the same demands to Stonesea as he did with the Haven, he probably has leverage over all of the new businesses in the Undercity. Trying to kick him off of the Committee would only end in you or everyone being threatened with exposure.”
Jazper shifted uncomfortably in his chair. “I spoke with the other members of the Committee. No one is happy with the idea of Silco having a seat-”
“That’s the only true thing anyone has said about the entire situation.” You sighed, weary beyond reason. “You realize that part of Silco’s power comes from everyone else trying to keep their involvement with him secret, don’t you? If you’re all honest with each other, you’ll regain a lot of control.”
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea…”
“Then don’t do it.” You stood from your seat, prompting Jazper to stand as well. “I assume your involvement with Silco doesn’t mean that I’m reinstated on the Committee.”
“No, though I am sorry,” Jazper at least had the grace to look sheepish. “I must seem like the biggest hypocrite.”
“You do. But Piltover is built on hypocrisy. It’s not surprising that you would need to follow their example if you want to succeed here.” You leveled a look of warning at him. “Just remember - it happened to me. It will happen to you, someday. The moment you start to make Silco feel threatened, or fail to do something he asks you to, you’ll be in exactly the same position as I am now.”
“I know,” Jazper agreed, his voice resigned. “And I dread it every day. All I can do is try to build as much structure as possible before that happens. Maybe it will stay standing when I’m gone.”
“Like I did.”
Jazper nodded. “I can’t come back here. I can’t openly help you. For all intents and purposes, this will have to be the last time we speak. All I can do is tell you this: I will keep Arunn working as long as possible. He is a good man and deserves to be part of what we’re building here.”
“Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me yet,” Jazper warned. “You aren’t going to like what else I have to say. Some of my Undercity contacts tell me that Silco was lying to you.”
You froze. Did Jazper know about the exact terms of your deal with Silco? Was that why he was trying to cut himself off from further contact? “What, exactly, was he lying to me about?”
“I am given to understand that he was trying to find the man who orchestrated the attack on the Haven,” Jazper said. You nodded. “Silco found him. The man died months ago. He was able to drug Silco briefly in the fight and there was speculation that Silco had been poisoned, but he reappeared a day or two later no worse the wear. The other man hasn’t been seen since Whatever Silco made you pay to fund his search for that man, it was a ruse.”
“I see,” you said carefully. You walked to the door, gesturing toward it. “Thank you for telling me, Jazper. I appreciate it and your friendship more than I can say. It was a pleasure working with you.”
“And you as well,” he returned graciously. Halfway through the door, Jazper paused, staring back at you. “If you are ever in trouble, please find a way to tell me. I cannot make any public moves, but I will help you if I can.”
You inclined your head and, with another sad smile, Jazper was gone.
Within the privacy of the meeting room, you buried your head in your heads and let out a shaking breath. No matter how well you knew that Silco couldn’t be trusted, Jazper’s revelation had managed to shock you.
If the chem baron who had attacked the Haven was dead, that meant that Silco had been extorting you. Even worse, he had been doing so for quite some time. The drugging incident had happened months ago, but his security had remained in place and you had to make double payments to cover the costs. All of that to cover the costs of protecting you from a man who would never again be a threat to anyone.
The worst part of it was that you couldn’t decipher Silco’s motivations. Whatever they were, it couldn’t help, but you still searched for them. He had called you a source of stress relief in the past - maybe he had been looking for an easy fuck. He had also mentioned that he wanted to compromise your morals, but doubling your payments to keep your outreach from being set on fire (again) didn’t seem like much of a moral compromise.
You weren’t stupid. You had considered the idea that Silco might have insisted that your payments come more often because he felt something for you. However, you had discarded the idea just as quickly. If Silco had felt anything for you, he wouldn’t have done what he did. Everything - from daring meetings in public to releasing information about your relationship - had been designed to keep the situation firmly under his control.
At last, you shrugged it all off. As far as you were concerned, Silco was dead to you. There was never a reason to interact with him again. You just had to convince yourself that this was the only option.
Things at the Haven did not improve after Jazper’s visit. The entirety of your staff resigned, leaving you to fill the gaps with anyone who was willing to help out. You personally covered the shortages in the staff, leaving you overextended and exhausted.
It was a vicious cycle - every day you worked an 18-hour shift was another day you couldn’t go searching for more help or additional donations. The only reason you hadn’t been forced to close the Haven entirely was because HexTech hadn’t canceled their monthly donations yet.
It was likely that they would. With their community outreach being so new and intended to help build HexTech’s reputation, a link to the Haven could only harm them. Viktor especially had been targeted when HexTech announced that they wouldn’t dump waste directly into the rivers that ran through the Undercity. Piltover critics had lamented that Viktor’s Undercity upbringing was ‘tainting the potential’ of HexTech business practices.
Roughly a week before their next scheduled donation, you started to watch anxiously for the mail. All of Silco’s security had refused to leave on your order, but you had banished them outside of the building itself. They had access to messages before you or anyone else in the Haven did. You had to wonder if they would actually pass along messages to you or if everything went directly to Silco.
The question was answered for you one day when there was a knock at your door. Your stomach went tight with nerves as you realized that HexTech’s donation was scheduled to arrive three days later. There were good odds that this would be the message in which they canceled their donation.
You answered the door, already braced for the bad news and to tell whatever guard had ventured inside that you no longer allowed them to enter the Haven. Instead, you stopped short at the sight of Viktor standing there.
“Viktor!” you greeted clumsily. “I- I was just… Why are you here?”
“May I come in?” he asked politely.
You backed away from the door immediately. “Of course. Please, come in. Sit down.”
Viktor did as you invited, settling heavily into one of the chairs you had set across from your desk. “Jayce and I have heard many things about you and your Haven over the past few weeks. I-”
“You didn’t need to come.” Your interruption made Viktor give you a hard look, but you simply offered a weary smile. “I just mean that you could have sent a message about HexTech withdrawing your donation. I would have understood. It’s a long trip to make for something I have been expecting for quite a while.”
Viktor studied you intently, giving off the air of a scientist studying some new bacteria under a microscope.
“What was the exact nature of your ties to Silco?” he asked.
You frowned. Surely, he knew all about your ties to Silco, but you indulged him anyway. “I accepted donations from him to keep the Haven open, the to pay for the security guards after we were attacked. He has offered occasional assistance with other parts of the Haven’s daily operations, but nothing that he did not volunteer.”
“And did you ever put any thought toward why a Chem Baron would be interested in helping people overcome their addictions to his drug?” Viktor pressed. “Especially since that drug appears to be his main source of income?”
You did your best not to bristle. Viktor didn’t know how long or often you thought about Silco, puzzling over his motivations. And he never would. “For all of the damage his operations do, Silco is remarkably dedicated to the well-being of the people in the Undercity. Additionally, I am give to understand that he enjoyed the challenge of having someone acting against him. It wouldn’t be fun if the deck was stacked too strongly in his favor.”
Viktor seemed to muse over that as you did the same. As far as you were concerned, it was all true. Silco had no reason to make things as easy for you as he had, other than the thrill of corrupting you and the motivation of sleeping with you on a regular basis.
“Would you say that Silco’s donations impacted the way that you helped the citizens of the Undercity?” Viktor eventually asked.
“Only insofar as I was able to help more people,” you said firmly. “The Haven has always been and will always be an organization that helps individuals addicted to Shimmer build a life without it. That has never changed, regardless of where our funding came from.”
Viktor nodded slowly.
“Jayce and I want to make a new offer.”
There it was again - that terrible bright hope stabbing through your chest. You tried to contain it as you said, “I haven’t had the best luck with deals lately. What exactly do you propose?”
“We would like to take over funding of the Haven,” Viktor told you, continuing even when you sat back with shock. “Whatever your base operation costs are. We cannot fund extra expenses such as your security guards, but if you tell us the base amount you need to run the Haven, HexTech pledges to meet that need.”
“But…” It took a few attempts to speak. “But why? Why help me, after everything that has been said about me and the Haven?”
Viktor gave a mirthless smile. “As a child, I lived in the Undercity. Did you know that?”
You nodded, and that smile faded from his angular face.
“I spent the first fifteen years of my life here,” he mused, glancing around the room as if could see the Undercity through the walls. “I was a bright child. Not socially adept, but I took note of everything that surrounded me. I have the distinct impression that things have not changed since I left.”
There was no chance that you would be able to speak past the tightness in your throat. You watched in silence as Viktor sat forward, leaning over the desk to fix you with a stare. “I understand what it is like to live here. I understand the sacrifices you must make to help others. I understand the deals you must make with people you would just as soon never meet.”
“Thank you,” you choked out.
“Do not thank me,” Viktor requested, not unkindly. He levered himself upright, leaning heavily on his cane. “There will always be men like Silco in the Undercity. The only chance the people here have is if people like you are allowed to survive. Send me your operating costs as soon as possible.”
Before he left, Viktor withdrew a check from his pocket and rested it on the desk in front of you as you struggled not to cry. It was enough to keep the Haven running for at least another month, maybe two if you stretched the budget.
It seemed the Haven would survive Silco after all.

Hopefully this isn't too weird or invasive a question, but I'm curious what draws you to Paw Patrol as an older fan, and also what your experience has been like in the fandom and as a collector? (I'm assuming you're an older fan and probably close to my age from the non-Paw Patrol media you share haha).
Tumblr media
I am indeed one of its older fans, and I can think up a few reasons that keeps drawing me to it.
One I can say right away is the fact I have a big love for canines, thus I tend to gravitate towards anything with dogs (and wolves, depending on if they're heroes or villains). They make up plenty of my favorites characters, as some of you seen in one of my previous Asks, and I generally tend to enjoy things more when they're involved (a friend recently recommended an older game to me, which I enjoyed all the more because you got to travel around with your trusty dog).
Tumblr media
Funnily enough, not too long ago, I took an interest in the Asterix and Obelix franchise because of its dog character, Dogmatix... and I was quite thrilled when I heard he was getting his own spinoff cartoon! Of course, it was only available in French at the time, but much to my luck, the first half of season one got dubbed in English and [officially] posted on Youtube, free to watch! I gave it a go, and I thought it was pretty good! If anyone's curious, click this link to check it out. And yes, this might've been a thinly-veiled attempt to talk about this cartoon somewhere, since there aren't many English-speaking fans. lol
Arquebus/Musketix is the best character.
But yeah, the pups are one of my biggest draws to PAW Patrol, and unlike some fans, I rather like it when other pups get added to the cast. Boomer and Claw both certainly helped renew some of my interest in the franchise, particularly during a time in which I felt things were going downhill. Hey, I just love dogs!
Tumblr media
Obviously, Marshall's easily my biggest draw to PAW Patrol. I'll admit, I tend to take a far bigger interest in an episode when he actually gets some good attention... and it's why my interests start to wane when he doesn't. The dude's legit my #1 favorite animated character, so I suppose it's no surprise to hear I often tune in specifically for him. That's not to say I don't get enjoyment from the other pups, but I'm just so crazy about that spotted pup!
Tumblr media
Another aspect that draws me to PAW Patrol is just how fun it tends to be (or used to be, but the modern seasons still have their moments). I don't want to go too deep into this because I don't want things to get too serious, but let's just say... life can be quite rough anymore, and it never seems to get much better. I often look for something that can help me escape that for a while, even if it's just for a half hour at a time. I found that PAW Patrol does that for me. It's cute, colorful, fun, doesn't try to be complex, and by the end, everything turns out okay. And if I need cheering up after a bad day, a certainly clumsy, spotted pup often always puts a smile on my face. Some days, I need that.
----
Tumblr media
As for my experiences with the fandom, I'd say it's been largely positive. I do tend to meet a lot of friendly people, many of which tend to be supportive and/or cheerful when I need it, and I generally enjoy interacting with most of them right back! I certainly don't regret being a part of it for the last five years or so.
With that said, I've had encounters that certainly weren't pleasant. I think everyone knows about my copycat by this point, so no need to retread that old ground. There's one infamous user out there who just seems to hate everything (unless it involves Everest), and he often turns hostile if you don't agree with his opinions. The same dude even tried arguing and verbally attacking those who work on PAW Patrol... including their families, too! Crazy guy. I've also encountered some fans who seem to make stuff up, believe their headcanon to be fact, and then become angry when people don't agree with them. I once had someone tell me Ryder is "gaslighting" Rubble, and... I don't even want to know what that means or why they believe that.
And in-regards to being a collector, the reception I often encounter has been quite positive, too. Most fans really seem to enjoy seeing my collection, even if it's just out of curiosity to see just how much merchandise they made of one single pup. I still get compliments on it all the time, from both fans and non-fans of Marshall, and I've even seen other folks who just think it's legit cool.
Tumblr media
Surprisingly, I've only had one negative encounter so far, and it was, believe it or not, from someone who used to be a fan of PAW Patrol. She became one of those folks who encountered bad users, got tired of them, and then decided every fan must be awful... and of course, she tore into me because I "talk too much" about Marshall and deemed me a "freak" for collecting so much merchandise. Most of what she said was largely laced with swears and insults, and I'm sure she believes she put me in my place or something... though in truth, I was laughing at most of her replies. Why she felt the need to throw such a temper tantrum on me, I'll never know, but she didn't succeed in even the slightest to discourage me or anything. lol

Downward Dog - Sirius Black x reader (part 3)
Tumblr media
Part 1
Part 2
"How long does it take to brew the Felix Felicis potion, and how difficult is it?"
You frowned in concentration, trying to remember the exact amount of time it required. You always got confused on this one, you weren't sure why. "It's one of the most difficult potions to make, with disastrous consequences if made wrong, and it takes... four months?"
Sirius closed the book with a smile. "Almost. Six months."
"Almost?" you repeated, sighing. "That's not even remotely close!"
"Sure it is. You could have said it takes six days."
"Potions is my least favorite subject and I suck at it but I know that brewing Felix Felicis requires months. I'm not that dumb."
Sirius leaned back in the armchair, grinning. "I never thought you were. And you don't suck at Potions."
"Thank you..." you muttered, lowering your gaze. Sirius was doing it again. Staring at you with that intense look that made you wonder what the two of you really were. Because that stare wasn't something you normally directed at friends.
"Alright! Now that's out of the way - you're going to ace Slughorn's test, don't you dare doubt me - can we go practice yoga?" He jumped to his feet, making you laugh. He looked so excited, like a child on Christmas' Eve.
"We can, we definitely earned it."
"Yes!" He pumped his fist in the air and you laughed again, shaking your head. "Look at you all thrilled after you've had just one lesson!"
"I had a good teacher!" He winked, and you tried with everything in you not to blush, as you left the Common Room and headed up to the dorms to get changed into something more practical. Sirius said you could do yoga in his dorm, since James, Remus and Peter were busy, so you quickly put on some comfortable clothes and grabbed your mat, before reaching him.
Studying with him had actually been very helpful. When he had told you he could help you revise everything in a few hours you hadn't really believed him, but he had been good with making you memorize ingredients and effects of several potions by linking them together. He said it was a method he had come up with that made learning subjects he hated easily, and he wasn't lying. You did feel better after cramming with him.
You knocked on the Marauders' dorm room and waited. You didn't hear anything, so you knocked again. "Sirius, are you ready?" Without thinking, you pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Your mouth almost dropped open when you saw Sirius by an open window, looking outside. He was waving wildly, you guessed at his friends out on the school grounds, and he definitely hadn't heard you, judging from the way he was standing there clad only in his trousers, shirtless.
You cleared your throat and he turned around, but didn't look embarassed at all. "Oh, sorry, Y/N! I didn't hear you, James was shouting something." He hurried to close the window and walked toward you, smiling brightly. "Ready?"
"I am, but..." you gestured to his chest.
"I thought about practicing like this, it feels less... restrictive," he explained. "Unless it makes you uncomfortable..."
You certainly didn't want to make a fuss over a shirtless boy. Even if you and this shirtless boy were standing extremely close to his bed, in his deserted dorm room, and the boy in question looked so good it took you everything not to stare. "Of course not. Shall we?"
You laid out your mat while Sirius just moved to the centre of the carpet.
"Alright, let's start in mountain pose. Follow me, and stop me anytime you don't understand or need help," you exclaimed, trying to sound confident.
Sirius nodded and mimicked your pose, as you both closed your eyes and you guided him in your practice.
It went well. He even almost managed to pull off crow pose, but ended up almost face-planting to the floor. Almost, because you had moved beside him to help him with alignment, and managed to steady him just in time.
Even his back looked good, you thought, as you stared at his shoulders, his shoulder blades, the muscles that twitched as he moved slowly. As you touched his shoulders to help him with the pose you felt your face flush. He was so damn attractive, and you hated feeling so affected by him. You two were just friends, and you had grown closer lately but it didn't mean anything at all, not when Sirius could have anybody he wanted-
"Y/N?"
You blinked. "Yes?"
"Can you show me that other pose... wheel pose?"
"The one I was practicing yesterday when you walked in?" He nodded. "Sure."
Hoping you wouldn't end up looking like an idiot - you had only recently mastered wheel pose - you showed it to him, and Sirius let out an appreciative whistle. "That is impressive. How long does it take to learn?"
"Everyone's different, some people can do it right away. I wouldn't recommend you try it today though, I think we've done enough and you should get some rest." You told him after coming out of the pose.
"You're right. It's almost dinner time, as well. I feel hungry after exercising!" He paused, staring at you with a slight smile. "You're quite the sadist, making me hold forearm plank for a whole minute."
"Am not! You insisted you could hold it for longer than five breaths," you pointed out, smiling. "I am sure you just wanted to show off. Admit it."
"Me? Do I look like somebody that thrives on attention?" he gasped dramatically, a hand on his heart, pretending to be offended.
"Of course not. You're such an introvert," you rolled your eyes, still smiling.
Suddenly, silence enveloped you both. As you stared into his eyes, marveling at how handsome he was, Sirius moved one step closer to you. "When Peter interrupted us yesterday..." He bit his lip, slowly placing a hand on your arm. That instantly gave you chills. Good ones. "I meant to ask you..."
"Yes?" you whispered, eyes fixed on him. His fingertips on your bare arm were really distracting. And he smelled so good. Damn. Stop it, Y/N. Focus.
"It's Hogsmeade weekend next Saturday, do you wanna go together?"
You felt your breath hitch in your throat. You had been hoping he'd ask you out for a long time, but had never dared believe he really would. "I would like that," you replied, trying to smile but feeling as if your face had frozen.
Sirius was smiling big enough for both of you, anyway.
Comments welcome! :D

It was set to be a fun and relaxing weekend over at the Munson trailer.
Granted, every weekend over at Eddie’s was a relaxing one, but weekends together happened rarely now thanks to your schedules. After Eddie finally graduated, he went right into the work force, which was the same thing you had done two years prior.
Neither of you ever had plans for college. Neither of you had grades to go, plus you were too broke. While the local community college had financial aid programs, you weren't broke enough to qualify for any of them. Since you would rather sell your souls directly to Satan rather than take out student loans, the blue-collar life it was. You both came by it honestly though. You came from a long line of blue-collar workers, as did Eddie, and you both had accepted that as your lots in life.
For Eddie, he began working as an independent mechanic. He was very talented at it and, most of the time, charged his customers very little outside of recouping his cost for parts. Sometimes, for the truly broke, like single mothers or the elderly, he didn’t charge anything at all. He knew what it was like to not be able to afford to fix his van and helped people out as much as he could. It only took a few months before his good workmanship and affordable prices quickly made him a favorite in town.
That whole thing really struck you as ironic though. Most of his customers still thought Eddie actually DID sell his soul directly to Satan. But if he could save them money? Suddenly they had no problem treating him like an old friend, Satan worshiping be damned.
It irritated you in a way. They still didn’t treat him as well as they treated others, but at least they didn’t cross the street anymore when they saw him coming, and he would get polite words of greeting when he was out and about rather than outright ignored. You had to keep reminding yourself that at least he was finally being treated better. The reasons why didn’t really matter in the long run. Doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is still doing the right thing, and Eddie was much happier as a result. Ultimately, that’s all that really mattered to you.
And it worked out in everyone’s favor. Even without making much profit per job, Eddie stayed busy enough that he made a decent living. This was great since the two of you were saving up for your own place together.
As for you, you didn’t have nearly the technical skills that Eddie did, so your options were more limited. The local grocery store hired you right after graduation and that’s where you’ve been ever since. You started out as a cashier, but now really didn’t have an official position since you knew how to do everything. You might not have a lot of technical know-how, but you learned fast and did whatever job they gave you well, so they used you all over the store. This allowed you to pick up quite a few extra shifts, which you did as often as you could to save up money.
The downside to you both working so much was that you didn’t see each other that much as a result. While it was for the good reason of preparing for your future together, it didn’t make you miss each other any less. That was why you had both arranged your schedules this weekend so that he had no cars to look at and you had no extra shifts to cover.
And you both told exactly no one so it wouldn’t be interrupted.
Well. Less likely to be interrupted, that is. If anyone saw both Eddie’s van and your car outside of the trailer, the jig would be up. It wouldn’t take long for word to reach Dustin and your weekend alone would turn into an impromptu game night with the whole crew.
While neither of you minded when this happened, there was something that needed doing before that had the chance to happen.
As soon as Wayne left for work and the sound of his truck had faded off into the distance, Eddie wasted no time in whisking you off to the bedroom. Thanks to just normal life stuff, it had been over two weeks since you’d had any alone time. You were desperately ravenous for each other and, by the time you were on the bed, all of the clothing you both had been wearing was laid in a trail behind you to the living room.
Like all passionate displays of being ravenously desperate, neither of you lasted long. That was okay though. You and Eddie had been lovers for a long time now and knew each other’s bodies as well as you did your own. All of your escapades, no matter how short, were always intensely satisfying.
After some catching up during your post sex cigarettes, you headed for the shower and Eddie to the living room.
When you emerged from the bathroom, Eddie had found a movie to watch while he was rolling the joints you two would be having that evening. It was one of those old Hammer films with Christopher Lee that stations liked to show when they had nothing else to play. That was always to your benefit though since you both absolutely loved those movies.
As you headed across the living room to the kitchen to see what you could put together for dinner, your focus was on the television rather than on where you were walking. This resulted in your knee having an intimate encounter with the corner of the coffee table.
“Yee ouch!” you exclaimed, slightly staggering at the impact but you caught your balance quickly.
Eddie’s head snapped up with a look of concern.
“You okay, babe?” he asked.
You grumbled a confirmation as you started to continue on, but then you stopped and turned around. You looked at the coffee table thoughtfully for a second before shifting your gaze to Eddie, who was still watching you.
“You know, I can’t help but wonder sometimes why they always seem to make coffee tables kneecap height,” you said very seriously, and then went on to the kitchen.
It took Eddie a second, but soon you heard him burst into a fit of wild laughter.
“Like that one?” you called, grinning as you opened the refrigerator door.
“Oh yeah! That was great!” came Eddie’s voice, still in mid laughter.
It was definitely going to be a good weekend.

Your fanfic pushed me to set up a trip to Prague. I'm going soon, and I'm really excited.
Hey anon! Honestly this blew my mind when I found your message in my inbox last night because I didn't expect someone to actually get so interested in travelling to Prague from just reading Sing to Me but omg I hope you're having tons of fun there!
I sat down and made you a list on google maps for all the locations mentioned in Chapter 5 and 6 together with notes where what exactly happened + some locations from the Eastern Europe Chapter of MGS4, in case you want to check these places out yourself.
I do recommend walking or taking public transport instead of a taxi or car to explore the city, Prague is extremely walkable and all these locations are within walking distance from each other. Yes, I walked to all of them when I first went back in 2021, but for someone who isn't used to walking much it might be a little more. Luckily I was in Prague as well back in March this year together with @cyborgdumptruck and took tons of photos and videos for the revisions of those chapters that I still got on my to do list and I thought I could share some with you :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From left to right:
Náměstí Míru Metro station (Line A)
Bazilika sv. Ludmily at Náměstí Míru (Peace Square) that Sam wanted to take a photo of but Raiden didn't let him, saying that they weren't in Prague for sightseeing
Arkada Hotel, the hotel that they were staying at which is just a few hundred meters walking distance away from the square
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn't mention the exact location of the restaurant that Sam ordered himself some dinner while Raiden just waited impatiently for him to finish eating, but I imagined it being somewhere near Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) where you can also find the famous Pražský orloj (Astronomical Clock). The restaurant in that scene I made up because honestly the area is a very popular tourist spot and therefore the prices are ridiculous compared to other places in Prague where you could get something to eat. This is also why I wrote in the current version of Chapter 5 that it's a less busy street near the square and not directly at it, but it's also a point that I have on my revision list of things that will be changed about the chapter. They definitely walked through this place though, and Raiden gets annoyed at Sam wanting to take photos of the area since it's overall a nice spot with beautiful old buildings that even have hand painted walls.
Popular tourist spot aside, it's absolutely possible to get good photos and videos of the clock and the area overall and we were there during warm weather on a sunny day around Easter, so it was quite packed with people already.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Karlův most (Charles Bridge) with Pražský hrad (Prague Castle) in the background. Raiden took Sam across this bridge to show him around the Malá Strana (Lesser Town) district, but then started to heavily dissociate on their way there and began 'acting strange' in Sam's eyes.
This is, by the way, also close to the location where Liquid Ocelot massacred all the joint army-marines unit trying to stop him at the end of the Eastern Europe Chapter in MGS4, and also where EVA (Big Mama) died.
Maybe you'll get an idea now why Raiden might have dissociated so heavily when they crossed the bridge, although he wasn't present at those events... it's not because of those, but they're connected (¬‿¬)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Kellyxír! (Maps Link) The bar that Raiden dragged Sam into, and then got shitfaced right in front of him. I also took Sam's diary with me that I got last year to take a photo for the @mgsr-sing-to-me blog that ended up becoming a GIF instead (I love the Live Photo function of iPhones ngl). I had also ordered the same drink that Raiden had, The Breath of Uroboros, the Dragon (costs 333 Kč which would be around 14 USD). Sadly I had to crop the video because I am not comfortable sharing my face on Tumblr for now.
I have to say that in the revision of Chapter 5, I'll try to make that scene a little more elegant than it currently is.
Tumblr media
On their way back to the hotel, Raiden nearly pukes on Sam from having absolutely overdone it with alcohol at the bar. I imagined this happening when they just reached Malostranské náměstí where they could take a tram back to Náměstí Míru to get back to the hotel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fun fact, when I was checking the locations that I mentioned in my fic, we coincidentally found the church in which Solid Snake (Old Snake) met EVA (Big Mama) in MGS4 and it's literally around the corner to Malostranské náměstí. And yes I am pretty sure that it was that exact church given the photos on Maps showing the insides of it. Unfortunately we didn't manage to go inside due to it only being open for visitors for an hour per day.
Tumblr media
This is a really funny coincidence if you ask me, I was in tears when I noticed it 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The agreed rendezvous point with their client Tomáš Růžička in Chapter 6 is the Bazilika svatého Petra a Pavla located inside the Vyšehrad fortress. Getting up there takes a little while, especially when you're getting there from the Vyšehrad Metro Station (Line C), you'll be walking at least 20 minutes when you aren't familiar with the area 😅 But it is a really nice walk! Also there is a beer garden (Na Hrádbach) at the fortress where you can get something to eat and drink without paying tons of money. Just please take cash in CZK with you just in case, I am very unsure if they let you pay with card.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, here are some photos of Magistrát hlavního města Prahy (Prague City Hall). Sadly the building had construction work done when we went back in March, so those aren't the prettiest pictures. I will change the scene in revision of Chapter 6 where they get here because I am not really happy with it ಠ╭╮ಠ Getting to the place though helped a lot with making decisions for what exactly will be changed.
Anyway, hope you're having tons of fun in Prague and thank you so much for letting me know that you're reading my fic and got inspired to travelling there because of it. It really made my day :3

26 - Blasts From The Past

Part 27
Family is More than Blood
@secretdreamlandmentality @icefrye19
Salvatore School - current timeline
"I can't believe mom did this to us. Does she not believe we are strong enough to handle this?" Alina snapped, laying back on the couch in front of the fireplace.
Missy was standing by the fireplace. "She had a valid point with you being pregnant."
"Since when has being pregnant in this family ever stopped mom from kicking ass!" She snapped to her twin.
Hope huffed. "Enough both of you. We can be angry with our parents after we rescue them and the Saltzman’s from the prison world."
"How are we even supposed to get there though? Mom took the Ascendant with her, didn't she?" Missy shrugged her shoulders with a questionable look.
The oldest Mikaelson daughter spoke up again. "I took the one that Alyssa created so we’ll just use that one.”
Footsteps came into the room quickly to show the three Mikaelson that it was Andrea. “Hey, Henrik keeps asking what is going on and my parents just saw me checking on Rapunzel and Charming.” She said pointing over her shoulder with her thumb.
“We can’t keep a secret from them I guess. But they’ll have to have us help if they want to know what has happened.” Hope crossed her arms over her chest not backing down.
Suddenly they heard the wind blow into the room and Jaocb and Hayley were standing beside their daughter now. Hayley put a hand on her hip eyeing the future Tribrid. “Oh we believe you, Hope. Now what exactly happened to your Heretic mother and Hybrid father.”
“You don’t know what Kai was like, Hayley. Rae showed me what he did at Jo and Alaric’s wedding. He didn’t care that he stabbed his sister with a knife. He just wanted to be the leader no matter the consequences to others. He’s ruthless.” Our Uncle J explained to his wife.
Missy walked over to the three. “Okay, so let’s do the prison world spell and rescue them.” The front door of the school opened and everyone turned their heads not expecting to have anybody else coming into the room at that moment. Dorian came inside and had someone wearing a light gray suit and tie following behind him.
"Fam, meet - Joshua. Old friend of Ric's. And drumroll, please. He's also an expert on prison worlds. I told him about our problem." Dorian explained with the three Mikaelson’s trying not to give him a concerned face.
The man that had dark almost black hair stepped to Hope who was holding the Ascendant asking and she reluctantly gave it over. "Do you mind if I? Thank you so much. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. It is in pieces. Oh, my…"
He gasped hearing a faint sound from inside. "There's a linking spell on this. It produces a, a faint hum, like a, like a melody, if you, if you know what to listen for."
Andrea leaned in to listen but was confused when he snatched it away from her ear. "You clearly don't. When the Saltzmans performed their spell on-on this ascendant, they were being tied to another. Hold this." But he tossed it towards her chest.
Alina grunted, raising herself from the couch. "So what exactly does that mean we need to do, Mr. Joshua?"
"That witch of yours didn't send them to, you know, a new, empty prison world. She sent them somewhere, somewhere far older and much more dangerous. And you're going to need my help to get them out." Kai turns his head towards the pregnant werewitch clasping his hands together.
Hayley could feel the unspoken tension in the room so she looped her arm through Kai's and began leading him away with Dorian. "Dorian, why don't you show Ric's old friend around a bit while we gather what we need, yeah."
"Sounds good." The clearly compelled human said leading the pair away from the group.
Jacob waited until they weren't in ear shot whispering to his three nieces. "How the hell did he get out but they didn't. We have to tell your mother somehow before things get out of hand here."
"It's not good if he's here." Andrea added on shoving her hands inside the pockets of her jacket. "Do you think he knows that we know?"
Missy gulped nervously. "I hope not. Otherwise we're screwed."
"Look we all know Kai is here and that he's a threat to the school sp this is what we are going to do. Uncle Jacob, you and Hayley make sure he doesn’t do anything to destroy the school. Andrea, we're gonna need your help with the Ascendant and that leaves the rest of us to break the spell and bring everyone home." Hope declared to the group who were all in agreement.
An innocent voice met their ears. "What about me?" Henrik was peeking his head around the corner.
"You little brother have the most important job of all…staying out of trouble and watching your baby brother and sister for us." Alina moved in between her sisters picking up her brother in her arms even though her belly was making it more of a challenge now. "Can you do that for us, Hen?"
He nodded with a smile. "Yeah."
"To bringing the family back." Jacob stuck his hand out and everyone placed their hands on top of his declaring back to him.
"To bringing the family back!"
Raelyn’s pov - prison world
Klaus and I had headed back to the Salvatore house and Josie had gone off to find her father. Kicking opened the front door I stomped through the house not caring if we were being loud. Throwing my hands up in the air I grumbled. "I can't believe I let him get away with the Ascendant. Stupid, stupid, Raelyn. I let my gut down just a wee bit and he double crossed us again!"
"Rae, there's nothing we can do about it now. But I agree that he will get what he deserves when we get out of here." Klaus told me lifting his chin up hearing something in the distance. "Someone else is here."
Whipping my head around I throw some of my hair in my view seeing someone run around the corner revealing Alaric and Josie. Yet Josie was dressed in all black clothing and her eyes were darker than normal. Rushing over to the pair I noticed the familiar dark veins growing on her forehead and her body. "Josie, what the hell happened to you!"
"Someone told me the only way to get us out of here without the Ascendant was to take the black magic." She responded dryly.
"Kai Parker you son of a bitch!" I cursed under my breath until I noticed who was missing. "Wait Where's Lizzie?"
Alaric dropped his shoulders. "We found her on the side of the road in a crashed police car with Sebastian. I patched her wounds but she's resting now."
"Sebastian?" Klaus raised a brow at the former vampire hunter.
Turning my head slightly to my husband I answered. "Has dark hair like Damon but an accent like yours and-"
"And he's a bad boy." Alaric interrupted me.
Klaus nodded. "Ah I see now."
"Someone's here." Josie informed us before I spun around on my feet and saw my eldest daughters standing in front of us.
My daughter asked. "What happened to you?"
Josie told her. "I broke the Sandclock."
She gasped in regret. "Oh, my God, I'm so sorry."
Alaric and Klaus both shared the same confused look seeing us talking to a wall. "Honey, who are you talking to?"
Josie replied. "Hope she's astral-projecting."
Alaric warned her. "Listen, you have to warn her about Kai."
Hope knitted her brows. "Why? What happened?"
"Kai went into the Malivore pit, and we think he's trying to get to the real world." Josie explains.
My daughter bites her lip admitting my worst fear. "Actually, I think he's already here, pretending to be someone else. Kai's at the school….and just to point out mom this wouldn’t have happened if you let us help in the first place."
"Hope Andrea Mikaelson we're not talking about that right now and I stand by the decision I made-"
Alaric cut me off. "Hope? Listen to me, Kai's incredibly dangerous. You have to get him away from the school now."
Josie waved her hand, sending her off, turning back to our group. "Good luck, Hope. We need to do whatever it takes to get out of here."
"Josie, let me take the black magic from you and do the spell." I take her hands in mine eyeing the black veins that were visible, remembering all the trauma that was created when I had the same thing happen to me.
Klaus raised his voice at the mention. "Absolutely not, Raelyn. It could kill you!"
"And it will kill her if I let her do this. I'm not the weak siphon I used to be anymore." Flashing my fangs to my husband I focused my attention back to the girl. "Josie, please. I don't what I would do if I did nothing when I have lived through this myself."
She squeezed my hands walking away to get the things for the spell. "I'm stronger than you think Aunt Raelyn."
"We do the spell." Alaric nodded following after his daughter to check on Lizzie. "And I'll stay behind."
Nik placed a hand on my lower back sensing that I didn’t like the way the plan was going. Slumping my shoulders I ran my fingers through my hair feeling my stomach twisting in knots. “Rae, she’s young and like Josette. She will be able to do this.”
“I know, Nik. I still don’t have to like the idea.” I mumbled reaching down for his hand and he looped his fingers through mine. He squeezed my fingers before we vamped off to find the others and get out of this prison world once and for all.
Missy’s pov - Mystic Falls current timeline
Hope, Alina and I had met back up with Kai leading him into somewhere he believes there was a magical device we needed at. But it was just to keep him away from everyone else. Hope stared at him when he questionably looked around the storage area. “This doesn't seem like much of a spot for a powerful magical artifact.”
I snapped remembering the story of what Bonnie did to him when we were kids. “Neither does a stuffed teddy bear.”
“That's very good.” He chuckled.
Hope explains going over to a crate in search. “Dr. Saltzman hid what we need in one of these crates, so Look for the Salvatore logo.”
“It's a good thing there's not, like, 400 crates in here. Eeny, meeny, miny, crate. When you say Salvatore logo, you mean, like, that thing with the "S" and the squiggle?” Kai chuckles, turning his back to the three of us. Hope raised her hand using her magic, launching a piece of wood toward his back but he stopped it. “And so it begins.”
“Ascendo.” I raised a hand throwing a crate at him but he raised his hand smashing it with magic.
He got to his feet running towards me. “Nice try.” I vamped him against the wall where he grunted until he kicked me in the stomach harshly.
Alina growled, running head toward him and throwing punches at him. He blocked a few of them until she grabbed his wrist chanting a spell to block his powers even though he was a heretic like me. “Phasmatos tribum, exum sue, redem su pas quo-“
“I thought your mother would have taught you better and remember I don’t fight fair.” He grabs her wrist siphoning from her where she lowered herself onto her knees and he pushed her down onto the floor.
Hope snapped her fingers and managed to break one of his knees for a second. “Errox femus.” She then took the chance and kicked his other leg out.
Kai swiped her leg out from under her through. She fell on her knees and kicked his leg again but it was clear that he could have moved away from her advance. “You could have blocked that.” Hope pointed out when he sat upright from the wooden ground.
The psychopath dryly laughed at us. “Yeah, you're right. I-I just wanted you to think you were doing a good job.”
Hope stepped a few steps away from him. “You're not trying to beat me.”
Kai grunted getting to his feet, smirking at the triplets proudly. “Oh, no. No, not for a a few more minutes. Because right now, Alyssa Chang is performing a spell that will sever my connection to the prison world.”
“She can’t do that. She’s not strong enough on her own.” I attempted to remain calm.
He tilted his head to the side. “Yeah you make a good point. Unless I brought over an extra source of magic that would make her have the power of a thousand year old witch.”
“The Hollow….we sent the stake into his prison world, not a new one.” Alina smacked her forehead in regret and I could hear Hope’s heartbeat increasing in fear just the same.
Raising my hand I choked Kai where he grabs his neck even though I couldn’t kill him. “You really are a psychopath if you’re willing to let our mother die. And for what just because you find enjoyment in it. You already took away Josie and Lizzie’s mom.”
“Nobody’s been on my team my whole life, Meli. So forgive me if I don’t see the whole desire to feel bad for what I’ve done.” He clasped his hands together pushing through the pain that I was causing him. “But you should be more concerned with the fate of your mommy since that place was created for me, once she's done…”
“The world will disappear. Along with everyone inside of it.” Hope put the pieces together through a sharp gasp and her heart skipped a beat.
“Oops.” Kai just simply smiled.
Alina waved her hands and shoved him against one of the wooden posts trapping him there with large metal chains. “Remember this Kai Parker. If my mother doesn’t kill you for what you did to our family then mark my word I certainly will!” She stomps up to him grabbing his chin in her freehand flashing her werewolf eyes sounding just like our father.
The three of us quickly rushed back to the school as fast as possible, finding Alyssa sitting in the center of a candle circle and a spell book at the end of her knees. Hope ran forward but she smacked into a barrier spell. “You really are a basic witch.”
I begged the witch not wanting to see our family die because of Kai Parker. “Alyssa, please.”
“I don't want them back. Not now, not ever.” She scoffed.
Alina snapped at her. “If you finish that spell, you'll kill them all. Are you that stupid to believe that nobody would get hurt!”
She mumbled looking away from us. “He didn't say anything about that.”
“Well, think about it. If you sever the connection, the prison world collapses. Everyone in it will die.” Hope lowers herself on a knee trying to talk her out of this idea. “Look, I know that you're angry, and I know that you want to hurt them. But you're not a murder. Trust me, you don't want to be responsible for someone's death. It stays with you. You carry it forever.”
Alyssa stepped away from the Ascendent until the pieces started turning without her doing anything. I gasped seeing a bright flash covering my eyes before I saw Lizzie and Alaric sitting on the floor. “Oh my god. You guys are alright.” Bolting forward I tackled the pair in a bear hug each.
Another flash occurred and we saw our father come back next. He got to his feet rushing to Alina who hugged him tightly. “I’m here, Lina.” He whispered hearing another flash of magic and we saw our mother snap upright with a gasp crying happy tears when she saw we were all there.
“Mom!” Hope flung her arms around her crying for a moment hearing a final flash noticing that it was Josie. The Saltzman girl rose to her feet smiling at our group until all of us embraced each other in a family hug.
Raelyn’s pov
Sliding on one of Nik’s sweatshirt over my head I was so tired from the day we had. Tying my hair up in a messy bun walking through the old storage facility where Alina had informed us they had trapped Kai Parker. “Are you ready to do this, Alaric?”
“It’s time to put an end to our suffering. He took too much from the both of us.” He responded by showing me a metal tall pickaxe in his right hand. He let the end of the blade slide across the ground creating sparks until we reached where Kai was chained up.
Kai sent me a puppy face. “Awe Rae Rae, great I was hoping to see you.”
“You tried to get one of our students to kill us all, you psychopath.” I got in his face harshly grabbing his shoulders and he winced when I used his blood boiling spell against him one final time. “Phasmatos navaro pulsus sanguinox….any last words, cousin?”
Kai gasped when I removed my hands, sighing in relief. “We could have been a good team, you and I…And you won’t be safe after I’m gone.”
“Ric, get it over with.” I stepped backwards, shoving my hands in the loops of my jeans glaring at my cousin. “You are finally getting what you deserve!”
Kai chuckled at Alaric. “Given all we've been through, this feels a little anticlimactic. Don't you think?”
“Not to me. This is for Jo.” Alairc raised the blade behind his head and he swung it, cutting his head off.
Laying on the bed alone in our bedroom I was just resting with my eyes closed. Klaus was downstairs reading to Rapenzal and Charming like he had done with all of our kids when they were babies. Someone knocked on the door and then I opened my eyes seeing it was Alyssa and she closed the door secretly locking it behind her. “Hi Mrs. Mikaelson, I just thought I’d come by and apologize for what I almost did tonight.”
“Uh thanks Alyssa. But it’s really not necessary. It was Kai just being his usual self. Thankfully we won’t have to deal with him anymore.” Sliding to the edge of the bed with my legs hanging over the side.
She crossed the room holding something behind her back until she was standing so close I could almost fall back onto the mattress. “Speaking of Kai he asked me to give you a message with this…” She revealed the white oak stake from behind her back pushing me down onto the bed.
“Urgh Alyssa!” I groaned holding the tip of the stake with my hands while she tightly held the top end just to the side of my heart. “What are you doing?”
The young witch pushed the tip of the stake into my chest where I grunted in some pain. She gripped her nails into the stake and I gasped for air seeing her eyes turn bright blue reminding me of the Hollow. “The Hollow wants you to suffer. Louvre, louvre animo. Pemet you accesses…Dedisco.”
I kicked the witch in the gut and she fell onto the floor giving me the chance to grab the stake in my hands. Standing above her I gasped feeling my wound healing slowly still in shock. “What the hell was that for, Alyssa!”
“It doesn’t matter. I just want you to answer one question.” She scrambled to her feet standing away from me and her eyes returned to their normal color. “Who is Klaus Mikaelson?”
Knitting my brows I started to answer her but paused thinking really hard about that name. Yet nothing was coming back to my memory so I had no choice but to reply with the response. “I’ve never heard that name before in my life. I don’t remember anyone named Klaus Mikaelson.”
Comments really appreciated ❤️

"If anyone were to ask, I'm fine, yes, I have some problems, but that's what it comes with." I got up smiling, not excited by the scandal around me, especially since most people didn't even know the truth. I wasn't drunk, I just drank non-alcoholic drinks, so I was there to talk to my friends from Holland that I won't be partying for a long time. I said this, they just pushed the booze into me, but I didn't allow it twenty times, at least I told them that I'm not pregnant, don't leave me alone, no, I'm not asking now. "You really weren't hooked?" "No, I don't even know who the girl is from the pictures, I don't even know her name, I just know that she hangs over me and keeps apologizing for some soccer player I've never heard of, Logan." I looked in front of me and knew that one more fight still awaits me today after Oscar, Loki is the spontaneous house purchase here in Miami, but I didn't know what to do, I couldn't stand Monte-Carlo, everyone was hanging on me, even though there are still nineteen contestants here in the field instead of me, plus Bia, my girl belly I don't understand why I'm the big number, why not Alex? "Lando, are you crying?" I nodded and started hugging Logan. "You know, I'm moving out of there because of the pressure, I hate it, it might be nice and all, but I can't live there."
Tumblr media
I sat down next to Lando on a piled-up bench, it's such a stupid thing here that they don't give a normal seat either to seniors or outside the paddock. I always thought this was bullshit, but I never mentioned it. "Dude, yes, it's a cliché, but I know how you feel. I've also had a falling out with my partner, but we've always made up for something. Believe me, you too, maybe he will like the house." "I don't know if it's a typical house in a residential park, but it was at a good price with a garden, and I also looked at whether it was possible to keep a pet, they said it was possible, and I also answered the child's question with a little good-natured lie." He scratched the back of his neck and bit his lip, he leaned against the wall and a faint but tearful smile appeared on his face. "They said yes, all that's left is the paper work, but there are many rules that we will try to follow."
Tumblr media
"Oscar?" "Lando?" I stood in front of Lando with my arms crossed and grimaced at him with candy in my mouth. "You know that because of your move, I can't even see you, because you didn't say you were going to leave Monaco just like that, you English bastard." "There you go? You would do the same if you too were picked apart by the Paparazzis every day! Huh?” I slapped him and left them crying, I couldn't stand Oscar's attitude towards my paparazzi photos, he keeps linking to them where he thinks I've lost weight while pregnant, where I've gained weight. "Fuck Oscar, of course I've gained weight, I'm pregnant!!!! Just look at me with your beautiful brown eyes, if you can't see me, go to the doctor, you bastard!!!!" ,,To a doctor????? It's not about the photos here, it's about the fact that you didn't tell me that you moved away." I was standing behind Lando with full eyes, I couldn't believe what he was saying again, he was starting to get hysterical and again publicly. He pulled out the I'm a diva card, he knows that I hate this and I can get really upset about it. "Lando, stop now, especially since Loki is here too!!!!" "There is no lying pig here, we are lost in the house!!!!!"
Tumblr media
"Lando, Lando, calm down, remember what DR Yin said." I took off his baseball cap turned inside out and put it in my back pocket, ruffled his messy hair, he was so cute, angry and sad together, yes, his family, especially his mother, said he can't handle his feelings as much as an average boy of his age. He has ASD sometimes. "But, but Oscar is a lying pig." "Baby, he doesn't just want to help you and keep away from you the many evil uncles you are so afraid of." I kissed him forehead, but he turned him head away, I think that's a sign that he doesn't want to interact with me, and he didn't even make eye contact. ,,Oh, my dear, are you scared? it's okay, it's okay." I saw that he couldn't bear to cry all day from behind and I caressed the back of him neck and looked into him beautiful eyes. "Shall we go?" "Yes, I hate this place, I feel bad here and I'm tired and I want to sleep, Loki."
Tumblr media
,,Where, where is my avocado cream sandwich? Loki?” I looked at him shocked and tired, then I leaned back on his shoulder and watched the commotion in the paddock, which was sometimes funny to me and sometimes repulsively disgusting. "Here you go, my cute selective eater." I put on my recently purchased sunglasses and bit into the sandwich with good taste and smiled with tearful face at how lamely Charles catches the ball and how lamely he throws it, and this makes him and his girl giggle. ,,I never understood this stupid media day, especially this jokey part, I always had to do this and now finally... Well Charlie!!!! my sandwich!!!!” I threw the ball back to him and it didn't go to him. "Nice throw Lando!" "You're welcome Carlos!" "Well, we're playing here, would you like to throw it back?" "Yes, of course, you'd better please the media again, mate." We'd rather get out of here with Loki before we find ourselves in the middle of a Ferrari dispute again, like after the tennis final because Carlos refused to introduce his girlfriend to Charles, so Carlos and his barmaid asked us for a free ride to the airport because they got caught in a fight. "These are childish." "Don't even tell Loki that I've been with Carlos, but we're breaking up because of a small quarrel." We got in, but my phone rang. "Sorry job, wait here."

Fashionista ~ Choi Chanhee
Tumblr media
It was an ordinary Sunday morning. You were sitting on your sofa, curled up with a blanket and a morning coffee. You didn't have any plans for the day, that was until your best friend Chanhee called you.
"Good morning!" His cheerful voice called as you answered the call.
"Morning, you sound cheerful." You replied simpily.
"Of course, we've got a free day and I was thinking we could go shopping~" He sang.
"Sure, it sounds good to me." You said.
"Awesome, I'll come by your place in an hour!" He exclaimed.
You laughed as he hung up the phone. You loved when you could spend time with your best friend, especially with how busy he could be, while being an idol and all. It was good to have some down time, and hope there weren't too many fans to interrupt.
After placing your phone down, you went to your bedroom to get changed for the day. You checked the weather and saw it was slightly breezy, so you slipped into a pair of light blue jeans, a black t-shirt with a white bomber jacket. You grabbed your bag and just in time, there was a knock at the door, you opened it to see Chanhee, in an outfit fairly similar to your own.
"Great minds think alike~" He said, making you giggle.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked.
"Yes, there's this pair of shoes I've been looking at for a while." You answered, making the male laugh.
With that, you both started walking into the city to do some much needed shopping and chill time together. It had been a few weeks since you really hung out with Chanhee, other than a quick chat.
When you arrived at the shops, you quickly went to show Chanhee the shoes you liked. He was quiet when you did, his fashion brain thinking them over. After a few minutes, he smiled and nodded.
"They would suit you, with some jeans or a skirt." He said.
"I'm so glad you approve." You said, slight sarcasm dripping from your voice.
Chanhee laughed and shoved you gently. You went to find if they had your size, asking the worker, who soon went out back to look. You took a seat, looking at Chanhee, who stood next to you, still looking around.
"Did you dye your hair again?" You asked him.
"Hmm, yeah it's for the comeback." He answered.
"It suits you." You replied.
He gave you a smile, "Thanks," He responded.
"The others are asking about you too." He added.
"Oh yeah?" You called.
"Yeah, asking when your going to come over again, Sangyeon offered to cook your favourite." He said.
"How about next weekend, you guys all free?" You suggested.
"Yeah, we're good. You could sleep over too if you wanted, just don't tell our manager." He said, making you giggle.
The worker then came back, luckily with your size. You thanked them and paid for the shoes, before you and Chanhee decided to go grab a drink and something to eat. You both headed to a small cafe nearby, taking a seat by the window.
"So, how have things been?" You asked, once you were both settled with some drinks and treats.
"They've been good, as I said earlier we've got a comeback soon." He answered.
"Can't wait to see it~" You said with a wink.
"Yes little miss Hyunjae bias~" He replied, making you laugh.
"Jealous?" You called.
"Not one bit, I'm your best friend, not him." He said with a scoff.
You laughed and rested your head on his shoulder, happy to have a close friendship with Chanhee and be able to joke about his group members. You were lucky to have him and he was lucky to have you.
"So, where to next?" He asked, once you both finished eating.
"Anywhere, I'm just happy to spend some time with my best friend." You answered.
Chanhee smiled as you both linked arms and headed off to continue your fashion shop and spend your free day together.

Re: "To my darling, whose love is out of reach."
Re done story, because I rushed the original story.

There will be a happier ending, that I will be writing, and I will link it once it is complete.
lyney's unrequited love song
Thanks for your support!
@bluu-m0on I re did this.
Tumblr media
(I miss when I thought Lyney and Lynette were circus members TwT)
Rose-colored lenses covered Lyney's eyes as he gazed at the blonde traveler. She had sun-bright blonde hair, snow-white skin, and eyes similar to those of Topaz, the beautiful traveler who had entered his country. Since the traveler from afar crossed paths with Lyney, his previous days have never been the same.
Lyney already had a lot to think about—mostly his future and current struggles. The Trveler entering his life helped change that for him a bit.
Following Lyney's court case, he began to encounter the traveler more frequently. She would later assist him in clearing Monsieur Caeser's name. After that, he would work alongside her while they were investigating the Meropide Fortress.
As someone whose entire daytime job was to charm others and entrance them with his acts, he often found himself entranced around the other blondes.
In their free time while they weren't traveling, they would help Lyney with his shows, occasionally learning tricks from the Twins. Lyney would tease her by saying that if she wanted to learn more, she could call him "Master Lyney." She rolled her eyes, shaking her head at that comment; however, Lyney found it hilarious.
Over time, he began to learn more about her, which she was willing to share, and in return, she learned more about him. He constantly told her tales about Lynette and, occasionally, some of Freminet's fairy tales that he caught himself reading over.
This became somewhat of a routine on the days she visited the nation of Hydro.
"Lynette, did you hear about what the traveler said? She mentioned that she had encountered a few ghosts before." His voice was much brighter as he spoke about her to his dear sister for the 15th time since they had met. Lynette let out a small sigh, even though she listened intently.
"She mentioned meeting a ghost that ran into a ruin guard, and Paimon scolded her." He laughed a little, remembering her expression as she talked to him intently. She leaned in a bit closer, with her attention never leaving his as he spoke.
"I know; she told me before." Lynette responds quietly as she takes a sip of her tea. It was still early morning, so she was still waking up, but she was awake enough to hear him talk.
"You have been talking about her a lot lately. When are you planning on confessing?" Her words cause his ears to turn red as he panics, trying to deny the claims.
"Lynette! I'm not in love with the traveler; I just admire them deeply, ever since they forgave us." She stares back at him with a deadpan look, seemingly not believing him. She opens her mouth to say something else when Freminet comes into the room with Pers in one arm.
"Good morning." The deep voice of his younger brother took away the attention. Lynette begins to chat with him, leaving Lyney to deal with his inner turmoil.
It's not a surprise that the magician would want to court the traveler. A sweet, kind-hearted person who has good ideals that will protect others. It's also a plus that she gets along well with both of his siblings. Lyney found her to be a fascinating individual, and he became attached to her quite quickly after meeting her.
Lyney typically maintains close relationships only with his family, never allowing anyone outside of that to see him without his mask. For the traveler to get to see all sides of him and to not turn him away like they did back then, at that moment, Lyney hoped to remain in their hearts.
"Hey Traveler, there you are." The wind swept sweetly over his hair as he stopped in the Beryl Region's mountains. The flowers confirmed the rumor that the traveler was gathering items for someone. Lyney eyed the small group of flowers that they had before facing the two. The travler turned, giving him her full attention.
"Hey, Lyney, what can we help you with?" Paimon waved at him as she flew closer, clutching some rainbow roses in her hands.
Lyney smiled a bit, staring down at the flowers. Rainbow roses were a popular flower in Fontaine, typically given as gifts or used for annivesaries.
"I was looking for the traveler; I had something to tell them." The traveler dropped the flowers carefully in her bag and moved closer to hear him better. She paused slightly closer to him, allowing him to take in her beauty. The wind seemed to have pushed her hair a bit, and there was some dirt on her boots, likely from walking in the mud or fighting.
She stares at him blankly while Lyney tries to get his thoughts together.
"Ah. I'd want to invite you to a special performance tonight." Taking off his hat, he reveals two tickets that fell off his head. Paimon catches the two tickets in mid-air and hovers down to hand them over. Momentarily, the female Travler examines the tickets.
"What's the special occasion?"
He flushes and wrings his hands together.
'Get it together!'
"Well, there's a special VIP trick afterwards." Paimon looks excitedly at her as she nods, pocketing the tickets.
"I see no harm in it." The traveler shakes their head in agreement. Lyney lets out a small sigh of relief as he makes his way back the way he came, towards the boat he was using.
"I'll see you then!" He walks more chipper as he descends the mountain, to return to Fontaine City.
Hours later, he sat in his dressing room, quietly humming love songs. He danced around his dressing room while getting ready, a big grin on his face. Lynette and Freminet glanced inside the room without his knowledge. Both stared at each other with blank stares, as they turn back to him.
Tonight is the time he'll express his true feelings.
"Play close attention blink and you might miss it."
Lyney and his sister delighted the crowd with extrodinary acts. Act after Act was met with applause from the audience.
It's time for his special trick, which he's been waiting to reveal.
"Can I have a volunteer?"
The spotlight moves before focusing on the Traveler. She glances around before standing and walking to the stage. He brings them to the stage's middle.
"Hello, Traveler. Please choose a card." She looks at him, perplexed, before taking one. She holds it while he shuffles the cards for her.
"Can I have it back?" She returns the card to him as he reshuffles it before revealing a card.
"Was it this one?" He asks again, and she shakes her head before passing her a unique card. Before accepting the card, she shakes her head hesitantly. He snaps his fingers, and a bouquet of rainbow roses and a card appear in her hands. She appears stunned as the audience cheers and screams in amazement. Lyney stares at her happily as she accepts the boquet, instead of a happy look, she stared at the bow with an upset look.
"Thank you, Lyney."
As she leaves the stage, she reads the card. Lynette and Lyney conclude the act by taking their bows.
"This has been Lyney & Lynette's magic show." They do a bow before leaving the stage.
Lyney ran into his changing room, slamming the door behind him. Why did she look like that, did it have something to do with those rainbow roses that she was collecting earlier. His high energy wearing off as his mind took off at a fast pace.
The Traveler must have been puzzled by the expressions on her face.
He buries his face in his hands, hoping to calm his mind. Lyney may have been getting a little ahead of himself.
As the door to his dressing room opened, his love-sick thoughts consumed him. "Lyney, she's waiting on you." Lynette stood near the door, with her regular outfit back on. She held a bag on her shoulder as she and Fremient, stared into the room.
Freminet waves a little to Lyney as he stood next to their sister.
He did ask to talk to her after the show that is right. Lyney, grabbed his bag as he met them at the door. His hands twitched slightly as he tried to keep his compsure.
"Oh, I nearly forgot. Are you and Frem going home?" She nodded, putting her hand on top of his restless ones.
"You're overthinking Lyney. Go talk to her first." His hands stopped twitching as she said that. Lyney let out a small nod, as her and Freminet passed him going towrds the exit.
Before leaving, she pats him on the shoulder.
Lyney restless energy encouraged him to run to the spot he told her to meet him at. He hopes this wasn't him over thinking his feelings for her.
"Traveler!" He dashes up to the meeting location he specified in his note. There was no one on the bench.
As he tried to settle down his nerves, he was struck with disappointment. He waited on the bench, possibly waiting for them to arrive late.
As he sat in silence waiting for her, the wind filled his ears.
After a few minutes, he was approached by footsteps. When he looks up, he notices the Traveler arriving with an Albino haired male with red streaks in his hair, one he has never met. She was chatting with him happily as she clung to one of his arms. When they were close enough, the male noticed him first, greeting Lyney softly.
So that's her type.
"Lyney!" She grinned as they came to a halt in front of him, clutching the Albino's hand. The two almost looking perfectly together, rather than with himself.
A gentle type of man and the person he had a crush on, looking like a couple from one of Lynette's romance novels.
His heart skipped a beat, and his vision blurred as he focused on the male next to her.
Keep it together, we can't breakdown.
"Greetings Monsieur, I am Lyney, the famous magician in all of Teyvat!"
He should've known, of course he wouldn't be the only person after their heart.

Tony instructed you to stay in the compound while the rest of the team went to resolve this challenging mission, though they excluded Wanda and Nat since they had another mission prior. Why you may ask? Because you had to “watch” over the tower for any surprise attacks. It didn’t make any sense to you; the compound had one of the best security systems that were impenetrable, thanks to Stark’s intelligence.
But maybe it was for you to take a break. You had been endlessly accepting one mission after the other for a record of two years, and the whole team witnessed you go back and forth from being as good as new and as beaten as a pulp. So there you are, alone in the compound in an oversized shirt that felt too soft than your usual shirts, but you could complain less; you were alone, and some peace would do you good. You pick a piece of shorts that you found in one of your cabinets though it was bizarre to see it in that place, you never placed it there, or maybe you had just forgotten that. You threw it on, and it barely covered your bum correctly, but you could care less; you were alone after all.
You took your phone and your headphones and began to make your way to the kitchen. You overhear Stark’s AI, Jarvis, greet you with a subtle “good morning Ms. Y/n L/n.” You greet back and grab some eggs off of the pantry. You began to cook each one into an omelet when you realized you had forgotten to take some salt as well. You began to look for it, and you realized that Wanda always placed the condiments on the topmost shelf. It would be a struggle to reach up there, considering your significant height difference with Wanda. You try to catch it while jumping up, but to no avail, you couldn't, so you decided to stand on your toes and slide it using a spatula. When you finally obtained the condiment, you noticed your shirt hiked up at your hips, but you didn’t bother to let it down; it was way warmer than you had expected it to be this day.
While waiting for the egg to cool a little bit, you decide to get ketchup, and as expected, it was in the fridge. You bend down suddenly, making the shorts on your legs way tighter. When you stood up, you noticed that there was a mark on the shorts. You found it weird because you never placed markings on any of your clothing. You fumble with it, and you were met with an overwhelming realization, the shorts that you were wearing weren't yours- it was Wanda’s. You quickly jump up, leaving your eggs to rush down to the laundry room. A sudden thought made you want to check the shirt you were wearing, and as coincidental as it was, you were also wearing Nat’s shirt. “No wonder it felt softer than usual,” you thought to yourself. It was no question why you had their clothes in your room, they frequently visited your room at random times, and sometimes end up sleeping there after a movie. You directly strip and place the two articles of clothing in the machine. You couldn’t help but feel someone was watching you, so you turned around, and there they were, two redheads whose name you slowly uttered while you tried to cover yourself up with your nimble hands. “Wanda... Nat” you slowly stutter out. “What- what are you doing here? Tony told me your missions wouldn’t end in another week” you question them while your cheeks start burning up. “We finished quite early, sweetheart,” Nat answered, her eyes half-lidded while looking at you like their prey. “We wanted to come home and take a rest while the team wasn’t here, but it seems we have a surprise waiting for us,” Wanda interjects, slowly stepping towards you. You start to step back but stop when you finally hit the wall. “Wha- what are you doing..?” you manage to croak out. The two women eyed you up and down, eyes filled with lust. “We saw you were wearing our clothes, detka” you watch Natasha as her smile turns into a smirk. “You look good in it, but you look so much better naked.” Wanda smiles mischievously, and you gulp. You had no idea what was in store for you. To say you were just aroused was an understatement. You were dripping. Nat and Wanda hold each of your arms softly and brought you towards their shared room and make you sit down in the bed while they shuffle the drawers. When you see them both again, they already had a vibrator in their hands and a strap that was harnessed to their waists. Your mouth watered at the sight. The two women were standing naked before you and had their cocks out on display. “Well, what are you waiting for, malyshka? These cocks won’t suck themselves, '' Wanda and Nat point to their straps. You scramble down on your knees, and you immediately latch your mouth onto Nat’s strap after spitting on Wanda’s as you stroked it on your hands. “Fuck” you heard the two redheads say in unison. Your eyes widened when you realized they were wearing double-ended strap-ons. Because of the discovery, it fueled you even to do better. You thrust it on your mouth, and you could see Nat’s eyes screwed shut, moaning in pure bliss. You started to see her legs shake, and you took it as a sign she was close. You hurriedly pumped it more, and later on, she came all over the strap, with her chest heaving up and down. “Such a great slut isn’t she?” Nat bats her eyes at Wanda. “Since you got your share first, I take dibs on her pussy” Wanda replied while making sure you were wet enough for her cock. Nat sighed. She knew she had no way out of it once Wanda made up her mind. “On the bed, malyshka,'' Wanda instructs you. You immediately rush towards the bed and patiently wait for Wanda to make her way to you.
When Wanda finally reaches you, she trails her fingers through your thighs while giving you a stern glare, which is meant to say, “stay still.” You try your hardest to stay still as she nears the place where you need her the most. When she finally reaches your clit your legs shudder upon the contact of her rings with your bundle of nerves. “She’s got a thing for your rings, don’t you think?” Nat says, catching Wanda’s attention. “I could see her eyeing it since we arrived nat. I’m faster than you,” Wanda retorts. Nat scoffs but doesn’t say anything until she catches your pleading eyes. “Why don’t you stop bickering with me and give our good girl what she needs?” Your cheeks flush at the new nickname you were called with (if that was even possible considering you were already as red as a tomato). “She hasn’t moved since you gave her that glare; our sweet girl catches on pretty quickly,” she continues while cupping your face. Nat brings you in for a kiss, nipping on your bottom lip for entrance, and you immediately open up your mouth, moaning at the feeling of her tongue roaming around your mouth, trying to memorize every inch of you.
You were about to get clouded with the feeling, but a certain Sokovian also didn’t want to be forgotten. She slammed her hips into yours, and you gasped into the Russian’s mouth, which was quickly followed by a moan after she started moving her hips at an unforgiving pace. You let go of the kiss and start to grip the sheets because of the overwhelming pleasure two redheads were currently giving you. While Wanda was on your pussy, working it with her strap, Nat’s lips were in your nipples, devouring every single part of it, which amplified the fiery feeling in your core even more.
Wanda chuckled darkly and proceeded to speak with a condescending tone. “Why does it seem like our slut can’t handle us both?” Nat licked her lips after taking them off of your nipples and continued, “why don’t we give her a little break?” your eyes widen, and you whined at the empty feeling when Wanda’s strap left your cunt. Tears started to brim your eyes as you frantically begged for them to be back inside you. “Please Wanda, please Nat! I need you in me please, I’ll do anything, i- I’ll be good-” you rambled but was cut off by a loud laugh that you had ripped out of Wanda from your begging. “You’ll do anything just to get our cocks in you, won't you? Such a desperate cockslut, isn’t she?” Wanda cocks her head in Nat’s direction. A mischievous smile appears, and you gulp in fear. Once those show up, there are wild ideas that accompany them. “Why don’t we take her at the same time?” you swallow deeply, there was no way you could fit them both, but you refused to say anything that could lead to disappointing the two women before you. “Get up, princess” Nat motions for you to stay above her while Wanda positions herself kneeling behind you.
When you were comfortable with your position, Wanda slowly started to insert her strap along with the redhead under you. You gasp from the fullness of the two cocks that had bottomed out in you. “You alright, malyshka?” you nod as you were currently unable to form coherent words. “Aren’t you such a dumb whore? Only wanting to be filled by our cocks every chance you get?” after Nat’s words, you felt yourself grow even wetter- something with the words the Russian said turned a knot in you. You were about to speak up and tell them that you were theirs to fuck and use whenever they wanted, but you were met with two different colored cloths, black and red with an evident smell of arousal- stuffed into your mouth. You assumed these were their panties, and you opened your mouth wider, taking in the two pieces gladly. As you took it in your mouth, a sweet, tangy smell immediately clouded your senses. You moan at the taste and look back at wanda and nat, seemingly communicating through eye contact. When wanda smirked, you knew you had to brace yourself for whatever was coming.
Thrusting deep and hard, both women quickly found a pace that had you trembling like never before. It was sensual, hot, and messy. Your moans vibrated throughout the room, and undoubtedly the whole compound. You didn’t know what to do with your hands, whether you’d grip it over Wanda's hands that were holding your hips or scratching it along Nat’s back. “Fuck, fuck mommy, daddy, I- please faster” you moan out, no longer in control with your words and not noticing your slip up which had the two smirking. They gripped you on both sides and had you bouncing up and down their cocks. “Such a good slut mhm?” “That’s it detka, sit still and be our pretty little whore” you hear both women say while they wreck your pussy. “Yes!! Fuck, use me, please just anything, please make me cum” you rasp out, your high just a few thrusts from your reach. Nat chuckles “You’re gonna cum for mommy and daddy?” you nod “gonna cum for us and show us how good we make you feel hm?” Wanda asks you, holding your neck and making you face her. “Please, I’m so close, I want to cum, no I need to cum, please” I guess we’d have to give her what she wants or perhaps need eh? Nat mocks while reiterating what you said. “Go on then malysh, show us how pretty you look when you cum” as soon as Wanda said those words, your body spasmed and you arched your back, screaming their names, while they helped you ride out your high.
After a few minutes, you finally came back to your senses and whimpered as they both pull out of you. “Shh, it’s ok lyubov, mommy and daddy got to clean you up ok?” Wanda whispered softly as your cheeks turn red as you realized your slip up. They came back a moment after, with Wanda holding a damp washcloth and Nat holding a glass of water. “Come on love, you have to drink water alright?” you sit up, holding Nat’s hand as support while drinking the water. You lay back down and let Wanda clean you up while she does so, Nat lays down beside you. “What do you want for now detka?” she asks while running her fingers through your hair. “Wan’ some cuddles please” you look up at her and Wanda, who was now beside you, finished cleaning you up. “Of course m’ love, we can have cuddles,” they say in unison, holding you in tighter as you drift off away to dreamland.

Dustin however notices M/N from time to time. He doesn't wanna talk to M/N since he doesn't pry into people's business'.
How about we change that?
🧢
M/N's POV:
I can't believe I had to wear this slippery shoes. I literally have so many shoes to wear but my parents made me wear this!
I swear I really wanted to snap right then and there but I would've got scolded and having to deal with them for even more was hell.
While I was rushing to class I almost fell to the ground if it weren't for my instincts. I stand properly and look at the guy I bumped into.
He wore a hat and he also had curly hair, it was tempting to touch it but given in the current situation you would've shaved his hair.
"Watch it, Nitwit!" I yell at him.
"Jeez! Sorry. I was in a rush, okay?"
"Well, yeah. Me too." I rolled my eyes and walked to your class.
Timeskip
After school ended, I took my skates and skated home. I knew that my parents wouldn't pick me up today so I brought my skates since walking was tiring.
When I finally arrived at my destination, I took off my skates and opened the door. I went to the shelf and placed it there. I walked to my room and sat down at my desk.
I took my bag and opened it then took out my homework. I took a pen and started to do homework. Doing homework while listening to music was my favourite thing to do. I love homework, homework is easy to do and relaxing if you understand it.
Homework doesn't anger me that much unlike the majority of people I come across.
Then 8 minutes later, I finished my homework. Huh, that was fast. Usually I finish after 10 minutes. Well, this is a new record.
I took the sheets and placed them into my bag then took my notebook or my notes. I either review my notes or write some notes about the lessons. My memory was good, so school was easy for me.
People usually call me a nerd, which isn't really hurtful because at least I get called intelligent in a way. But when they keep calling me nerd like every minute, it gets really repetitively annoying.
Those types of people really make me want to harm them, but I know that I'm not strong so I just either shout at them or listen to music.
Then I heard someone knocking, taking me back to reality. "M/N, sweetie, me and your father have news for you." Mom said. I took out my headphones and walked to the living room.
"You called me?" I sat down next to them.
"You know that school is almost ending right?"
"Uhm, yes?" I look at them, confused.
"So me and your dad decided to take you to.. Camp Know Where."
I stare at them blankly.
"What is a Camp Know Where?"
They then explain to me about the camp.
"So, do you wanna go or not? We can cancel if you want to."
I then think about it. Maybe I should go, I don't have anything to do during summer break anyway.
"Okay, fine. I'll go."
They smiled and said I can continue what I was doing. I then go to my room and clean it.
🧢
"M/N! Wake up!"
I hear my dad yell. I groan and look at my ceiling. I stared at it for a while then sat up. I took off some dirt on my eyelashes and stood up then stretched.
"M/N, hurry up, we're gonna be late!"
My eyes widened and started to dress up.
I took the things I needed and placed it in my bag. I got out of my room and placed my bag on a chair to brush my teeth.
After I was done, I took some tissues and wiped my mouth. I took my bag and went inside the car.
"What took you so long?" Mom asked me.
"I had to prepare the stuff I needed."
"You didn't prepare it last night?"
"I didn't know it was today!" I rolled my eyes.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me, young man."
I just ignored her and played some music.
timeskip
I walked out of the car and ran to the camp. I saw lots of kids and a few adults. The adults saw me and smiled at me. "Hello! How about you introduce yourself? You're the only one who didn't introduce yourself to anyone."
You took a deep breath and walked beside the adults. "I'm M/N L/N. I'm 13 years old, I like music and studying." I look at the ground.
"Is that it?"
"Yes."
"Okay.. How about you sit with the other kids?"
I nod.
After that, they announced about us having roommates and that each room has 3 beds for 3 students in one room. And guess who was my roommate? The nitwit with a hat, oh also your other roommate was a girl named Suzie.
Me and Dustin were walking to the room.
"I didn't know you were a nerd." He said, trying to strike a conversation.
"Is there a problem with that, nerd?"
"No. Nope. Just didn't expect to see you here."
"Neither did I, nerd."
He stayed quiet and kept walking. We finally reached our room. Room 10. I took out the keys they gave us and opened the door. I went in first, then the nerd went in after but thankfully he locked the door.
I took out my stuff and placed it to my side of the room. I took some clothes and went to the bathroom so that I could change into the Camp Know Where uniform.
After I was done, I noticed the girl wasn't here yet.
I sat on my bed. They said we could do what we want for today, But I didn't know what to do. I looked at Dustin who was laying down on his bed.
"Nerd." I called him.
He sat up and faced me.
"Yeah?"
"C'mon, let's go and walk."
He stood up and held my shoulder. "Are you sure? We could get lost, y'know."
"Do you think I'm dumb?" I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms.
"No..?"
"Then follow me." I demanded and held his hand.
Unbeknownst to me, he was blushing.
We went outside and I saw a girl between two tree's that was behind the campus.
"Hello?" I called her.
She flinched and ran.
"Wait up!" I yelled and ran while still holding Dustin's hand. "Why are we running?" He yelled. "I saw a girl who wore the same uniform as us!" I replied.
The girl stopped running and she relaxed outside of the shed. I didn't know there was a shed here.
"Who are you and what do you want?" She asked me. I looked at her and gasped. Damn, she's hotter than Phoebe Cates.
"I"m M/N L/N and this guy with a hat is Dustin Henderson. We were just taking a walk and I saw you. I got worried that you might get lost so I followed you." I tried to strike a reassuring smile.
She chuckles. She then took a deep breath and patted for me to sit in the space beside her. Me and Dustin look at each other. We smiled and I sat at her right while Dustin sat on her left.
"I'm Suzie Bingham. Say, why are you guys here?" She looked at us.
We then talked about our interests, past, etc. It was actually fun, and I thought I wouldn't have friends. Maybe this time will be different.
🧢
Today we had to make something. Luckily they gave us a lot of tools to use. Dustin made a rocketship while Suzie made something that could help her communicate with Me and Dustin even if we're far away.
While I made a mini camera, well I don't know what to call it or compare it to. Basically I can put this little thing to someone and I could see what they do and I can also hear them.
But I need a device to attach it to so I can see and hear what they're doing. Now that I think about it, I just made a tool for stalkers to use. Whatever, I'll just give it to Dustin and Suzie.
But I haven't decided how far the thing can work, because I can't just put it in someone in California and expect it to work. So, Maybe I need to work on that.
But the main problem is what device can I attach it to? I don't have a computer or something. Hmm, Let me check the shed where me and Suzie met.
I doubt there's a computer there but let's hope there is.
"Ooh, What is that M/N?"
I flinch. I looked to see who said that. It was one of the adults. She had red hair and brown eyes. "Oh, um, I don't know how to explain it yet. But maybe after a week I can give you an answer?" I awkwardly smile at her.
She gave me a confused look but nodded anyway. After she left me alone I sighed. Why can't she just leave me alone? She looked so annoying.
After we done everything they told us to do, They wanted for us to sleep since it was already getting dark.
But I needed to finish my project. So, I snuck out and I obviously brought something to protect myself. But I didn't know my two roommates followed me.
Luckily my escape was successful. I ran to the shed and thankfully I knew where it was because I made some signs for me to notice where the shed is.
When I finally reached the shed I panted. I'm not really used to running. I then felt a hand touch my shoulder. I panicked and immediately pinned down the person. I almost put the knife in their neck when I heard:
"Wait! Wait! It's us!"
It was Dustin and Suzie. I look at him and to Suzie. "What the hell are you doing here?" I held Dustin's head and moved next to mine.
"Me and Dustin were worried about you. We thought you were gonna leave." Suzie defended Dustin.
"Oh." I let go of Dustin's face. "Well, I needed to do something. But you two should go back to our room because it might take a long time to finish." I then stood up and went inside the shed.
I turned on the light and saw them behind me. I glare at them and cross my arms. "Leave now."
"No, we're not leaving you. We need to make sure you're safe." Dustin said.
I look at them in disbelief. "You know what? Whatever." I then go back inside the shed to see a computer. I smile. Yes! It works.
But then I noticed that it's a bit damaged but it can still be fixed. "Guys. Can you help me fix the computer?" They look at me and check out the computer.
"But where's the tools?" Suzie asked. I looked at the shed and saw some tools. I ran to the tools and held it up. "Here!"
We then start fixing. It took 2 hours but at least it was successful. I smile and jump in happiness. I hugged Dustin and Suzie. "Thank you, guys!" And they hugged me back in response.
But Dustin couldn't help but feel jealous. He had a crush on Suzie but he only wanted you to hug him, smile at him, thank him. Why did you have to hug Suzie? Weren't you his first friend?
"So why did you need the computer?" He asked me.
"I made this device where it's like a camera and a tracker at the same time! I needed a device to attach it to or it wouldn't work."
They looked at each other and looked at me.
"It's weird, I know. But think on the brighter side, You can solve crimes, You can know if your partner is cheating on you, You can know if your friends are talking bad about you."
I sat down, Then Dustin and Suzie took a seat and sat beside me. Dustin on my left, Suzie on my right. "Dustin, Suzie, take this." I gave them the small tracker and they looked confused at it. "Um, Dustin put it on your hat." Dustin listened to your instruction and placed it on his hat.
I then did something to attach it then, it worked. There was the location of where Dustin was and I can see what the tracker was seeing.  "Holy shit!"
Then the computer repeated it. Suzie looked amazed. "You're a genius, M/N!" She complimented me.
I blushed and smiled at her. "Thanks.."
Dustin wasn't happy with what he was witnessing. He hated when you and Suzie talked to each other or looking at each other. He wanted you to focus on him. Just him. Only him.
🧢
While I was exploring Camp Know Where, I found a lake. After checking if it had any germs or bacteria, it turns out it was a safe lake to swim in. Maybe you should swim there.
It was nighttime, but the adults let all of you have some fun for a bit. Suzie was changing her clothes while I led Dustin to the lake I found.
"Are you sure it's safe?" Dustin asked.
"Well, obviously. Do you think I'm a killer?" I then start to take off my shirt. Dustin gasped and looked away.
"What's the problem? We're both boys. Well, if you're gay, just tell me."
"What? No! I'm not gay!"
I gave him a blank stare and continued to strip off my clothes. I then jump in the lake. Dustin panicked and ran close to the lake to check if I was there. I then pull him to the lake. "Hey!"
I chuckle. "Why'd you do that?"
"Well, you were so close I couldn't wait."
I giggle. After 10 minutes me and Dustin were floating. We just kept talking since we didn't have the energy to swim.
"So, you mentioned having a friend group? Tell me about them." I said.
"The first one is, Will. He enjoys playing dnd with us. Oh, did I mention he died and came back to life!"
"No way that's possible."
"It's possible, alright! Oh, then there's Mike and Lucas. Mike has this girl.. El. And Lucas is dating this girl Max."
"Max? Is that a girl or a boy?"
"She's a girl."
"So, do you have a girlfriend?"
"Nah. Don't think I can get a girl with the way I look."
"What?"
I stopped floating and stood up then swam near Dustin. "What do you mean 'The way you look?' You look cute."
"Yeah right."
I glare at him.
"You look cute, Dustin. Imagine being smart, cute, and humorous. You're a perfect boyfriend, Dustin!"
Dustin stopped floating. "Says who?"
"Says me."
"With the way my teeth looks I don't think any girl will like a guy like me."
"What do you mean? The way your teeth looks makes you uniqueThat's what makes you cute. If a girl doesn't like you, then they're dumb. They'll never get a boyfriend as amazing as you."
Dustin looks at me. I noticed some love in his eyes. I then leaned closer. I didn't know what I was doing. I closed my eyes and kissed him. Luckily he kissed back.
After a while I moved away. "Wow. I.. don't know what to say."
"Neither do I."
Then we heard someone running. "Guys, we have to come back to our rooms!" It was Suzie! "Uh.. We'll be there! Give us a minute!" Me and Dustin got out of the lake then went back to our rooms. Not saying a word to each other.
🧢
Today we had to make something but we needed to do it with a partner. And guess who was my partner? Dusty-bun, or Dustin Henderson. Sadly, Suzie wasn't our partner even though we begged them to make it in a group of three. But they refused.
Me and Dustin were brainstorming and what we had to do. I told him what I wanted to make but he refused. He told me what he wanted to make but I refused.
So we had to make something that we both agreed upon. After a while we finally had something to create. While we were doing it, we barely talked to each other.
We're still shy about what happened at the lake. It was so sudden. I was a guy. Dustin was a guy. It feels wrong, yet right at the same time. I thought I liked Suzie but I like Dustin too. Who do I really like?
Ugh. Shut up M/N, Love isn't the most important thing in life. I can figure it out later. Like I always do. But, thinking about it still makes me wonder. Am I gay, or Am I straight?
I have to choose one. I can't just pick two genders to like. That's not right. Right? I don't even know what I'm talking about. I just want this to get over with.
Timeskip
While I was sketching and writing notes in the woods I felt someone touch my thigh. "Hey, What the hell are you doing?!" I almost punched someone until I heard a familiar scream.
"Dustin? You gotta stop scaring me or else I'll hurt you for real."
"Sorry. Sorry." He apologises.
"What are you doing here?"
"I just wanted to hang out with you. You know, alone."
"The way you say it is so weird, please be careful of your choice of words."
"Sorry! But, do you want to.. Hang out or just talk?"
"I don't really feel like walking so let's just talk."
We both lay down at the grass and look at the sky.
"So.. Do you like me?" Dustin asks.
"I don't know.. I like you but I like Suzie too. I don't know who I like more.. Sorry I can't give you an answer right now."
"Well.. Why do you like Suzie?"
"I don't know.. She's a certified genius, She's hotter than Phoebe Cates, and she's really nice."
"Why do you like me?"
"You're super smart, cute, loveable, funny,  you're welcoming and logical. The way your face lights up when you discover something new, The way you look at me, the way you smile." I unconsciously smile. But of course, Dustin noticed it.
"Maybe you like me more than Suzie. It seems like you only see her as a friend. Besides, it seems like you feel way more comfortable with me than with her."
I face him.
"To be honest, I wish you liked me instead of her. We're definitely more compatible and better for each other. In fact we might be even the world's best couple! I mean what do you and Suzie have in common anyway."
I start to think about it. Maybe Dustin's right. Maybe we belong to each other. I can't help but feel that I hear a voice in my head saying that Dustin was bad or he's not to be trusted.
But no, Dustin isn't like that. He wouldn't do anything bad to me right? He wouldn't force me to do what I hate, right? Unlike my ex best friends.
"You're right, Dustin. Maybe, I do like you." I smiled at him and we both sat up. I pulled my knees close to me and looked at Dustin. "So.. Are we together now?"
"Yeah. I think so."
I smile at him.
"Um, by the way, I want to give you my hat. Camp is almost ending. In case you're going somewhere far away, You'll have something to remind you about me."
I take his hat and looked at it, then looked at him.
"Thanks.." I blush and put it on.
Little did you know, he only gave that to you for him to know what you're doing
At
All
Times.
"I made this device where it's like a camera and a tracker at the same time!"
"Holy shit!" Then the computer repeated it.
"You're a genius, M/N!"
I blushed and smiled at her. "Thanks.."
little did I know. Dustin planned this. All along.
🧢
Camp Know Where has already ended. You knew that you would miss Suzie, she was an amazing friend. But not to worry, Dustin knew how to communicate with her so you can just ask him.
But when you asked him how he did or how to do it, He wouldn't tell you. He'd just say: "You don't need to talk to Suzie. I can just talk to her for you."
You didn't know why he'd get defensive all of a sudden but you shrugged it off.
You three met up at the gate. You saw Suzie running towards you two. "Suzie!" You yelled and hugged her. You two shed a tear. "I'll miss you, Suzie."
"Me too, M/N. I hope we can see each other again in the future. Promise me you'll keep in contact?"
"I promise, Suzie."
You two smile at each other. Suzie stopped hugging you and walked to Dustin. "I'll miss you too, Dusty-bun." They hugged each other and it seemed like they were whispering something, sadly you couldn't hear it.
She took your hand and hugged you two. She then rambled about meeting up in the future. Dustin didn't mind meeting up with Suzie again in the future, but he just wants Suzie and you to not be too close.
You, however, wanted to be neighbours with her and be close friends. You were upset that she lived so far from Hawkins. Then Suzie's ride arrived. She ran to the car but didn't forget to wave you two goodbye.
Then your ride arrived. You walked towards the car but turned back to look at Dustin. His mother hasn't arrived yet. She'll probably take a long time to arrive.
You walk towards him, "Hey, Dustin, do you wanna come with us?"
"Huh? Are you sure?"
"Yeah, at least your mom will take a break. My mom will drive you to your house." You smiled at him. Dustin thinks about it and nods.
You two get in the car and talk all day long.
Timeskip
You and Dustin's relationship is really decent but you noticed he's been overprotective. Whenever you have to go somewhere he always reminds you to wear his hat at all times.
You didn't know why but just listened anyway. But sometimes he annoys you. You try to control your anger issues but it's just really hard.
But you noticed he's been.. Manipulative. You tried to understand why he's like this.
Dustin on the other hand wanted you all for himself. Why couldn't you understand that? You know, when the two of you were 18 years old, Dustin immediately demanded for you and him to be roommates.
He wanted you to share rooms with him but you denied, saying that: "We both need privacy." Which confused Dustin. But hey at least, you were all his. Not to anyone, not to yourself but his.

Trapped Part 4
Fandom: Chicago PD
Series: Trapped
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5
Link/prequel to this series and this series respectively
Pairing/s: Jay Halstead x Reader
Warning/s: bomb/explosion
Word Count: 979
Summary: Imagine getting stuck under the rubble with Jay when a bomb goes off at Med, with a second one ready to detonate
Masterlist
Tumblr media
You held onto Jay like a life raft. Even after you knew five seconds must have passed, you continued to hold onto him, and he didn't let go either.
You both just clung onto each other for dear life, all the emotion that had been bottled up since the first explosion nearly reaching a tipping point, and you were worried that if you let go of him, you'd let go of all of that too. You stayed like that in silence, both breathing heavily as you tried to calm your pounding hearts.
It took you a second to realise Jay was stroking your hair with the hand that wasn't still clasped to yours, his head buried into your shoulder.
Selfishly, you were glad he'd been just as worried as you were, and that he'd reciprocated your embrace. There was a warmth that came with that, but it was overcome as quickly as it had appeared by the shock of the day.
"Halstead? Y/N?" Voight's voice came through over the radio, making you both jump as you released each other. Physically, anyway, the tightness in your chest that lingered after Jay had let go gave you pause, but you didn't know how to process what that meant.
"You both still there?" Voight asked, no where near as concerned as he had been previously.
"We're here," Jay replied, tension visibly leaving his body as he said: "bomb successfully disarmed."
"Good job Halstead," Voight told him, and you could have sworn your heard a smile in his voice, not that he usually liked to show it.
"Couldn't have done it alone," Jay added, giving you a soft, grateful smile.
"Let's get you both out of there, Squad will be with you shortly, hang tight," Voight said.
"Got nowhere else to be Serge," Jay put the radio down, all that was left to do now was wait; soon, this nightmare would be over. Severide and the rest of Squad 3 would be moving in now, as well as paramedics and a few dozen other trucks and ambos.
You didn't want to think about how many people had lain injured on the floors above you while you'd disarmed the bomb, but you shuddered all the same, wrapping your arms around yourself for comfort.
Jay noticed and put his hand on your shoulder, pulling you from your thoughts and making you jump.
"We'll be out of here soon," he promised, thumb rubbing your shoulder slightly as you nodded and offered a tight smile of agreement.
"As selfish as this might sound," you said suddenly, "I'm glad you followed me down here."
Jay didn't hesitate when he responded, "me too."
"Thank you," you looked back up into his eyes and searched them, for what, you weren't entirely sure, but you were pretty sure you found it all the same.
"There's no need," he insisted, "really, it is you after all." He seemed to catch himself then, like he'd said something he hadn't meant to.
"What do you mean?" you asked, brow scrunching together in confusion at his words as he sought an explanation.
He released your shoulder and looked away from you then, and in any other situation you would have left it at that, but you were tired, stressed, and still running on a little too much adrenaline for that.
"Jay," you said his name instead, and with such authority that he looked back to you, eyes locking once again.
"Y/N," maybe it was the way he said your name, or maybe it was the way his eyes softened when they reached yours, but all of a sudden you'd closed the gap between the two of you, until your faces were barely an inch apart.
Your eyes searched his face for permission, watching as his flicked from your eyes to your lips and back up as you put your hands on his chest, feeling his heart beat speed up as he leaned in even closer, until your foreheads and noses were touching, skin tingling in anticipation.
But as you felt the first gentle breath from his lips hit yours, a crashing noise, followed by loud voices overhead, broke you from your trance.
"They must be getting close," Jay stammered, stepping back to see as heads popped down from the open ceiling above. You felt your face heating up and hoped you weren't too red.
"Hey guys", Cruz grinned before turning back to people you couldn't see, "hey lieutenant, I got them!"
"You are a sight for sore eyes Joe Cruz," you laughed, stepping out into the corridor to get a better view, Jay just behind, the tension between the two of you still evident. You hoped Squad didn't notice
"Aren't I always?" he joked in reply, kneeling down and hoisting something next to him that looked like a rope bag, "ready to get out of here?"
"Absolutely," Jay responded, holding his hand up to catch the rope as Severide and Capp appeared in view, wide grins on both their faces.
"we'll pull you up one at a time," he said, securing his own harness before coming down to assist you both.
Jay insisted you go first, Kelly making sure you're properly fastened before pulling on the rope and signalling the others to bring you up, your eyes not leaving Jay.
Kelly went back for Jay as you stood with the rest of Squad, looking at the damage to the hospital around you. You felt lucky to be alive as Jay came to the surface and you were both led out into the light.
You were immediately rushed by friends and paramedics, getting separated in the commotion as you were led to the walking wounded triage area to be checked out.
Your eyes lingered on each other until you were out of view, and something inside you told you nothing would be the same between you again.

Day 2: Almost is never enough, Xu Shangqi
Song link
Fanfic, female! reader
Angst, heartbreak, flashbacks
Word count: 4871 (oops)
Tw: Heartbreak, sad Shang-Chi, use of Shang-Chi instead of Shangqi, but when spoken I use Shaun as this is before he revealed his true identity. Angst, but sad sad angst. It takes a dark turn, honestly. Mention of car crash, worst possible outcome. Goes from 1 to 10 real quick. Talk about alcohol and throwing up. Drunk Shang-Chi, drunk reader. One use of Y/N (sorry)
Summary: Reader, Shangqi and Katy used to be the closest friends could get, and there had always been some sort of connection between reader and Shangqi that told them they would end up together. But fate is cruel, and not acting on time can have terrible consequences.
Tumblr media
“I'd like to say we gave it a try. I'd like to blame it all on life.”
You had known Shang-Chi ever since he left his father. You met him through Katy, who might've known him two days longer. And since day one, the chemistry between the two of you had been too good to put into words. The two of you remained blind to it, but you were the only ones. Katy had secretly held a place in her heart for the two of you, but Shang-Chi had asked her not to speak about it, as to not embarrass him somehow.
After school, the three of you would always go to someone's house, though it was yours more often than Katy's. A special bond between the three of you began blossoming, and you had been so sure it would last forever. But you were a child, and children were fools. They held no sense of reality or future whenever things became too good or excited. Emotions took hold of logic, and as a child; who could blame you? You knew no better. Neither one of you did. You were convinced you'd be with one another until the day you would walk to one another's funeral.
“Maybe we just weren't right, but that's a lie. That’s a lie.”
"Have you finished your French homework yet?" Shang-Chi, or Shaun at the time, asked, walking into your house as he looked at your form, hunched over the dinner table. It had been your exam year and you were working so hard to make it.
"Je ne le comprends pas!" You exclaimed, sitting upright and throwing your pencil down. "It means 'no'."
Shang-Chi laughed at you, taking a seat on the chair beside you. "I know what it means. I know French."
"Of course you do, mister perfect." You mocked, sticking your tongue out to him.
"So you don't want my help?" He asked through a smile, already making his move to sit back up.
"No, I do, please stay." You quickly defended, grabbing his arm and pulling him back down.
"Now help me write this stupid letter." You convinced, showing the half written paper in front of Shang-Chi. His eyes quickly scanned the paper, stiffling a laugh as he read the last sentence.
"That's not how you spell 'entreprise'." He explained, pointing towards the mistake.
"That's why I have you, right?" You wondered aloud, resting your head on his shoulder. "Help me out here."
“And we can deny it as much as we want, but in time our feelings will show.”
"That guy has been making googly eyes at you all night now." Katy remarked, standing next to you, holding a red cup. It had been senior prom and she had forced both you and Shang-Chi to come along too. Even if it was just for two minutes. But two minutes turned into two hours, and you have done nothing but sit in a corner, reading your book while occasionally drinking a bit. Katy had done her best to interact with others, but was quick to stand next to you with Shang-Chi and talk about anything and everything. But now, Shang-Chi had gone to get some more to drink, and - unfortunately - you could feel the eyes of the second guy bore holes into your back.
"I am aware. Perhaps I should just tell him to shove off. He might leave me alone." You offered, rolling your eyes as his made contact with yours.
"Or you could offer him a dance. It is a prom after all and you haven't even crossed the dancefloor yet." Katy proposed, but her words vanished into thin air as Shang-Chi appeared again.
"What were you two talking about?"
"About how the two of you should let go a bit and get out there to dance." Your friend announced, grabbing Shang-Chi's cup, then grabbing your arm and tangling it together with his, pushing the two of you forward.
"Have fun!" She yelled after you.
“'Cause sooner or later, we'll wonder why we gave up. The truth is everyone knows.”
The night had lasted longer than you had primarily thought. Katy's plan worked and you spend the entire night dancing with Shang-Chi, even after the reluctance of both sides. He had walked you home the entire way. Katy had insisted on being picked up by her parents (after she threw up in the school bathroom), so it had just been the two of you.
"Thank you for tonight." You offered as you reached your doorstep.
"Yes? You had fun?" He asked happily, putting his hands in the pockets of his pants.
"Eventually." You confided, shooting him a wink. When a silence struck between the two of you, you walked towards him, extending your arms. Shang-Chi caught onto your meaning and wasted no time in wrapping his arms around you, content with being in your hold, even if it would just be for a few seconds.
Your hands found the back of his neck, where they met, as you pulled him closer, not wanting to let go just yet.
"And here I thought tonight would be boring." You mumbled, before turning your head slightly and planting a soft, yet lingering kiss on the side of his cheek.
You broke apart after, showing him a tiny smile.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Shaun." You said with a wave, now turning around and walking into your home. You had missed the way Shang-Chi remained standing there, not sure on what to comment or what to do. His brain forming some sort of short circuit. It wasn't until he heard you walking up the stairs, that he realized he should probably go home too. It would later become a memory that would keep him up at night, both with fondness and regret.
“Almost, almost is never enough. So close to being in love.”
But your actions were never discussed afterwards. You both met the day after, but it had been as if nothing happened. Katy did not find anything off, that was how well hidden it was. The kiss had but nothing but platonic, Shang-Chi had now tried to convince himself. He hated how he thought it could've meant something else, but deep inside, he knew it was too good to be true.
You had made no intention of even mentioning last night, aside from the part where you discussed the creepy guy. Katy had been laughing about the fact she threw up on a dance, but Shang-Chi had remained quiet, only sharing an occasional laugh and comment.
Ever since that night, he felt himself change around you. He would suddenly pick up on the little things you did. His stomach would feel feather-light whenever he made you laugh, something that had not happened before. His heart would pick up on the sound of your voice and every other noise would be cancelled the second you wrapped him in your arms. Conversations became more personal and your interests had been above his. He cursed himself for acting like that over a simple kiss on the cheek, but now that his heart knew what it could get, it would not stop until that was accomplished.
“If I would have known that you wanted me the way I wanted you. Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart, but right here in each other's arms.”
"You make sure to write us, okay?" Katy reminded as you inspected your boarding ticket. You were leaving for London, to finally go to that school you always wanted to go to. You got rejected your first try, but the second was an easy entrance. The only problem was that you would be gone for four years, perhaps only visiting during the holidays. Shang-Chi knew there was a very realistic chance of you forgetting them or starting your own life hundreds of miles away from him. And he hated the thought. It had followed him ever since you announced that you finally got allowed in. But only now, at the airport, he understood what this could mean for you.
"I will write to you every week, how does that sound?" You spoke, gathering Katy in a warming hug, letting her decide when to let go.
"That sounds perfect." She agreed, taking a step back with a smile. Shang-Chi had walked up to you, heart hammering in his chest while he tried to keep his tears at bay, convincing himself that he would see you again soon, no matter what would happen. He wrapped you in another, stronger hug, keeping his arms around your waist as his head rest against the crook of your neck.
"Don't forget me." He whispered, so quiet, you weren't even sure you had heard him correctly the first time.
"I won't." You silently answered back, stroking the back of his neck lightly. In response, Shang-Chi planted a quick kiss on your cheek, his body acting before he could realize what he did.
Upon parting the hug, you showed him a genuine smile. Katy took her place beside him, smiling back at you, even when she had no idea what had just happened.
"Flight 205 to London, England is ready for boarding." The dreading announcement finally filled the building, causing you to frown, letting out a loud sigh.
"I should go." You mumbled, holding onto your ticket and suitcase. "I'll see you this winter. I'm sure of it." You promised, offering one final wave before leaving.
You did not see Shang-Chi's broken face, or Katy's uncharacteristic sulking frown and perhaps that had been for the best. Because one more look at your face, had been enough for Shang-Chi to grab your arm and force you to run away with him. But he did not get the chance. And he would perhaps never get it again.
“And we almost, we almost knew what love was. But almost is never enough.”
True to your word, you had appeared days before Christmas, surprising both of your friends. You had stayed over at Katy's, as Shang-Chi would often visit, taking the two of you out on nice evening. It had been December 23rd when Shang-Chi appeared in front of Katy's door again, but instead of waiting for her, he had only been there for you.
He had taken you out on a wonderful night, wandering the nearby Christmas market with you, the lights and music overwhelming you. He had bought you an adorable, ugly sweater you found, after with you surprised him with an equally adorable reindeer hat.
It had nearly been 2 AM, but the local pub was open, as it had always been. Yet, instead of the usual pub drinks, you both engulfed yourselves with hot chocolate, talking with each other about all the moments you had missed. For once, everything felt exactly as it once had. The painful aching in Shang-Chi's chest had returned, but the feeling his stomach left him after you shared yet another excited laughter had been worth every moment. He knew he should have grabbed his chance right then and right there, but he could not bring himself to do it. You would leave within a week, and he did not have the intention of scaring you off and making you leave earlier. So he would stay there, by your side, but from a distance, keeping his feelings to himself, no matter how much it had hurt.
“If I could change the world overnight there’d be no such thing as goodbye. You'd be standing right where you were and we'd get the chance we deserve.”
But the days went by slow, and every single one of them had been more painful then the one before. New Year's eve had approached and you had looked so beautiful that Shang-Chi could not bring himself to talk to you for longer than five minutes. Not even when Katy was around. He stuffed himself with the food around and drank way too much for his liking. You had tried to talk to him, but he just seemed to become more distant as you tried to connect with him. December 23rd suddenly felt further away than it had really been.
23:56, everyone was together in the living room of Katy's household. Everyone but one. Shang-Chi had rushed to the bathroom only seconds prior, the alcohol becoming too much for his system. He had sat in front of the toilet seat, his back hunched over as tried to get the upcoming bile out.
"Shaun?" You asked, knocking on the bathroom door, even though it had not been locked. "Are you alright?"
"Just perfect." Had been his response, but it was quickly followed by the rather unpleasant sound of vomit hitting the bottom of the toilet.
"I'm going to come in, is that okay?"
When the only thing you heard was his humming, you opened the door, sighing silently at the sight before you.
"Oh, dear." You cooed, kneeling down next to him, removing the tie from around his neck before rubbing his back soothingly.
"I'm sorry for tonight." He managed to get out, before emptying his stomach into the toilet once again.
"It's not your fault, sweetheart." You crooned, letting your hand wander into his hair, trailing slow circles into it.
"No, but it is. I haven't said anything to you the whole night, and it makes me look like a fool." He admitted, keeping his face above the toilet seat, though the urge to throw up slowly faded.
"And perhaps I am a fool. But then it's your fault, because you made me a fool. You make me do foolish things. And the worst part is that I don't even mind." He cried, a tear now escaping his eye.
"You're drunk, Shaun." You began, standing up to fill one of the empty glasses at the sink with some water.
"Of course I am, but it does not make my words any less true."
You formed your lips in a thin line, offering him the glass before taking your seat next to him again.
“Try to deny it as much as you want, but in time our feelings will show.”
"I love you, Y/N. I do." He confessed, grabbing the glass and gulping it down.
"I believe you. Tell me again tomorrow morning and we can talk about it." You promised, opening your hand to reveal a mint to him.
"I always carry them with me at parties." You answered his unspoken question, to which he nodded, taking the mint.
From the other room, you could hear everyone counting down. Both you and Shang-Chi had now been sitting with your back against the tub, your head on his shoulder, as his hand held yours, squeezing it occasionally.
"Happy new year!" You heard from the other room. You smiled at the laughter and cheering, turning your head towards Shang-Chi.
"Happy new-" But your words were interrupted as his lips crashed into yours, his shy self long forgotten. Perhaps you should have been grossed out by the idea that he had thrown up only minutes prior, but you could no longer care. You rested your hand upon his cheek as the other held onto his shirt, kissing him back with just as much need as he had.
"Happy new year." He finished for you after you broke apart, wrapping you in a hug, forcing you onto his lap. With your head on his chest, you slowly breathed out, happy to be in his arms once more.
"Happy new year, Shaun."
“'Cause sooner or later we'll wonder why we gave up. The truth is everyone knows.”
During breakfast the next morning, it became prominent that Shang-Chi had no idea what happened the night before. He did not even realize it was an entirely new year today. But you could not get yourself to bring it up. He had been drunk and he knew it, but you did not know whether to believe his drunken words or not. In vino veritas was still a thing, of course, but sometimes, people say weird things when they're drunk. Maybe this just was one of those moments.
Shang-Chi did know something had happened, but he did not know what. You would not tell him and Katy did not seem to know. You had convinced him it was nothing terrible nor something to be ashamed off, but as they walked you to the airport again, the thought kept nagging at the back of his brain. What if he had done something terribly wrong and you just wouldn't tell him? But you would be honest to him, would you?
Upon saying your goodbyes and hugging your friends, you lingered on Shang-Chi, holding onto him tighter than you had done to Katy.
"You make me a fool too." You had whispered, before breaking apart and walking towards the check-in hall. He did not even get the chance to ask what it meant or what he could do. All that was in his power at the moment was stand beside Katy and hoping you would come again one day soon.
“Almost, almost is never enough. We were so close to being in love.”
Three years it had been since that day. You had not seen them in three years. Sure, you had kept contact over letters and mail, but you had not once seen them again since that New Year's day. Shang-Chi had yet to forgive himself over whatever happened, even after you told him thousands of times it had been okay.
"When can we see you again?" Katy's voice echoed from your phone.
"I am in my exam year now and I need my fullest attention. We can meet when I'm done." You told her, but you had told her this many times before already.
"I miss you." She sang.
"I miss you too, Katy. Can you hand me Shaun again?" You asked. Originally, it had been you calling Shang-Chi, but of course, Katy was there too and she felt the need to speak with you again.
"Of course!" She announced. A short silence was followed until you heard Shang-Chi's voice again.
"I have to go now, but can you call me again tonight? I have to ace this German test in order to pass this semester." You pleaded Shang-Chi, who responded with a chuckle.
"After five years you still need my help for languages."
"You explain it so easily!" You defended. "So call me tonight, okay?"
"I will. Talk to you tonight." He offered.
"Yes, you will! See you tonight!"
“If I would have known that you wanted me, the way I wanted you. Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart, but right here in each other's arms.”
"Welcome back, miss 'I-actually-finished-school'!" Katy yelled, running towards you, making you drop your suitcase to intercept her halfway. "Next time, don't make us wait three years." She mumbled, though it was obvious she was joking.
As your eyes landed on Shang-Chi, you spotted the woman beside him. She did not appear familiar to you, so out of kindness, you merely extended your arm, offering your hand.
"Y/N." You introduced kindly as she shook your hand back.
"Jennifer." She spoke through a smile, making you return the gesture.
"Oh yeah, this is Jennifer; my girlfriend." Shang-Chi introduced, making your heart drop to the pit of your stomach. Girlfriend, of course. You could not even blame him. It had been three years, who knows what had happened.
Another smile made its way onto your face, now walking over to hug him, yet it had not been as tightly as it once was.
"You did not tell me you had a girlfriend, mister lucky." You tried to joke, breaking the hug before he could even let go of your back.
"Well, I wanted to introduce the two of you in person rather than on the phone." He explained, holding his hand out for Jennifer to take. You offered her a sweet grin, nodding your head at them.
"She's beautiful."
“And we almost, we almost knew what love was. But almost is never enough.”
You had made the decision to move back to America, in order to keep more in touch with your family and friends. Katy had once more offered you a roof for the time being, glad to spend some extra time with you again, but Shang-Chi didn't nearly show up as often as he had before.
"He's all lovey-dovey with his girlfriend now. It's disgusting." Katy joked in the middle of your round of Monopoly. You had asked her about Shang-Chi and she did not hold back.
"Of course, Jennifer is really kind, but she's so unintentionally rude at times. Yesterday, she told me she admired my bravery for wearing my hair in a bun. Like, what is that supposed to mean?" Katy joked, but you could see it had been truly bothering her.
"And one time, she cancelled our karaoke night, because she wanted to see a movie with him. Ugh." The young woman resumed, but you made no intention of talking about it with her. You had barely known the girl, so you felt bad for hearing such terrible things about her.
"Don't tell Shaun I said this, but last week, she cried because we were going to pick you up from the airport. She thought he was going to cheat on her with you." Katy explained between laughs.
"Why would she think that?" You wondered aloud, your focus no longer on the Monopoly game.
"Because the two of you used to be super cozy."
"Yes, but we were no couple." You defended, swallowing the lump in your throat, thinking about what could have been.
"You would have been if you hadn't left." Katy confessed, but she swallowed her words as quickly as they came.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound rude." She apologized. "It was great that you left because of your school, but let's be honest; you and Shaun would have literally been banging right now if you had stayed here."
"Katy!" You laughed.
"Just the truth!"
“And we can deny it as much as we want, but in time our feelings will show.”
"So, that did not work out." A voice spoke as the door opened, sighing heavily as he plopped himself down on the couch beside you.
"What happened?" Katy asked from the kitchen, busying herself with the pizzas in the oven.
"Jennifer and I broke up." Shang-Chi announced.
"Oh no! Why?" You asked, dropping the book you had been reading earlier.
"I don't know. She was acting all crazy and I did not really feel attracted to her anymore." He explained.
"Oh, I get that!" Katy began. "Remember Justin from high school?"
Both you and Shang-Chi hummed in response.
"He was cute, but only for a week. Spark kind of blew out."
You laughed at her metaphor, before turning back to Shang-Chi. "I'm really sorry for you, Shaun. She seemed like a nice girl."
All you got in response was a smile, followed by a thankful nod.
"If it's any comfort to you, we could get hot chocolate tonight. I'll pay," You announced, though Katy quickly threw off the idea.
"My show is playing tonight and I'm not missing it again. You can go with Shaun alone."
"Fine by me." You shrugged. "Hot chocolate?"
“'Cause sooner or later we'll wonder why we gave up. The truth is everyone knows.”
You and Shang-Chi had been seated in the same pub as before, the smell of hot chocolate filling your nostrils.
"Jennifer did not like you." Shang-Chi suddenly spoke up, making you frown at his words.
"Why? What did I do?"
"I have no idea." He confessed with a grin, taking a sip of his drink. "I once told her about you and ever since that moment, she had always held a grudge against you."
"What can I say? I'm just natural competition." You teased, raising your eyebrows a couple times, accompanied by a smirk.
"Perhaps." He had mumbled back, now looking at you as if it was his first time ever seeing you.
"Well, if she didn't like me, I don't like her either, so let's not spent the night dwelling about what could have been. Let's spent the night with joy!" You exclaimed, connecting your hand with his and giving it a reassuring squeeze, before returning your hand.
“Almost, almost is never enough. We were so close to being in love.”
"Katy, help. He did it again!" You yelled through the empty apartment, your mind foggy, but still half functioning. Katy emerged from her bedroom, her hair messy and her eyes half opened.
"He made me buy alcohol again!" You announced excitedly, bumping into Shang-Chi, who was clinging onto you as if you were his life-line.
"Are you both drunk?" She yawned, turning on the lights, helping the two of you to the couch.
"Just a wittle bit." Shang-Chi whispered, holding his fingers together at the 'wittle' part, a delirious grin on his face.
"But my savior is here once again." He continued, snuggling into your side as you laid on the couch, his head resting on your chest.
"This is soft." He remarked, poking it.
"Don't touch my boob, you perv." You giggled, slapping his hand away, to which he yelped a bit too dramatic for Katy's liking.
"You know, I do remember what happened New Year's Eve." Shang-Chi remarked. Katy rolled her eyes at his words, covering the both of you with a blanket.
"If I hear any moaning tonight, both of you can sleep on the street. And I mean it." She warned, before turning off the lights and walking back into her room. The second her door closed, both you and Shang-Chi burst out giggling.
"What happened New Year's Eve?" You asked, slurring half of your words.
"We kissed." He whispered, as if it had been a secret. You gasped in surprise.
"We didn't."
"Yes, we did, and it was right after I threw up." He stated proudly.
"That's disgusting!" You laughed, resting your arm around his torso.
"I did not tell you the next day because I was afraid you'd leave me again." He confessed, toying with the ends of your t-shirt.
"That's silly. I would not leave after kissing you." You defended.
"I even told you that I loved you. Maybe that's why I broke up with Jennifer. Because I still love you." Shang-Chi murmured, almost falling asleep now.
"That's crazy, because I love you too." You whispered into his hair.
"You do?"
"Mm-hmm. Ever since that dance at prom." You hummed.
"Wow....The world is crazy."
A silence struck the both of you, and for once, you thought he fell asleep. You were keen on following his example, already closing your eyes, enjoying the thought of sleep taking over.
"We'll remember this tomorrow, right?" Shang-Chi suddenly asked, his voice more quiet than before.
"Of course." You reassured. "But first, I'm going to sleep. Goodnight."
"Night night." He mumbled back, placing a soft kiss into the crook of your neck before nestling into your side more, letting sleep overtake him.
“If I would have known that you wanted me the way I wanted you, babe. Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart, but right here in each other's arms.”
Breakfast had been the most difficult thing all morning; The terrible pounding on your head did not cease for once. The urge to throw up was ever present, keeping you incapable of swallowing even the tiniest bit of food.
"I'm exhausted." Shang-Chi announced, stretching his arms before resting his top half on the table, nearly dozing off on top of it.
"Don't be so loud." You shushed, holding your head in your hands, trying to cancel out his noise.
"Sorry." He mumbled through his hands as one subconsiously wandered of just to come in touch with your own. You looked up in surprise. Katy had no longer been at the table. How long had the two of you sat there? Did you fall back asleep? In the background, you heard the shower running, signifying that Katy was already done with breakfast and was busy changing.
"I know this is the worst possible timing, but do you want to go out on a date tonight? With me? Before we forget again." Shang-Chi wondered aloud, his volume down to keep your head calm.
"I'm not drinking again." You warned.
"Neither am I. I was thinking about seeing a movie."
"That can be arranged."
“And we almost, we almost knew what love was. But almost is never enough.”
But the date never came. After you were well enough to drive home a few hours later, a reckless driver bumped into the left side of your car, leaving you trapped, immobile and in terrible pain. You were gone before the ambulance could even arrive. Shang-Chi could not even properly process all of it happening. He remembered coming home to dress appropriate for the movie when the police called him, claiming he had been your emergency number. He had broken so many traffic laws to get to the hospital in time, but he knew it was useless. You had already been beyond saving when you were found.
He had spent days at your grave, telling you about the things that happened and things that he had hoped to happen. Every once in a while, he would bring hot chocolate with him, hoping to find some source of comfort, but the once sweet drink had turned bitter the second his tongue touched the familiar taste. The movie he had longed to see with you never once graced his eyes. Him and Katy had been each other's comfort; each other’s solace, but the feeling of someone missing did never go unnoticed by them.
It felt empty, humorless, and for days it had been difficult to even talk about it. But they would remain together for you. If they could not have you, they could at least have each other. And it would have to do.
“Almost is never enough baby. You know.”
