So when it comes to cs!Tubbo’s own mentality, he isn’t logical at all.“ YES A THOUSAND PERCENT! the thing about him with destiny is that he thinks about it in terms of patterns, meaning that it FEELS logical to him but in actuality! he’s just predicting something with the evidence he has and the immense biases that go alongside it, and what he’s predicting is literally the entire course of his life. it’s reckless and it’s non logical in every possible way and that is how he views the world.

we call ranboo the dsmp enjoyer but REALLY it shouild be tubbo with these damn au assignments UR RIGHT!

there is a LOT that goes into him making these constant comparisons but some things i’d like to highlight is (1) you are so right about these biases his self hatred gets in the way of logic SO MUCH TOO! (2) his comparisons with himself are one thing but when he compares other people to people in the past it usually reveals a deep misunderstanding in who those people are, for example ranboo and quackity those two are BARELY anything alike but tubbo has this very strong association between them that is so unfounded in anything but his belief that he is just like schlatt WHEN HE ISNT!!! and (3) there r lasting consequences for believing that everything is destiny and set in stone, for example issues taking responsibility for things, and treating people callously like you know best. the latter tubbo is starting to do, the former is somewhat apparent but i just think its a thing that will be continuous in his character imo bc it is fucking real shit i would know LOL 

YES YESYEYSYESYYES EVERYTHING YOU SAID ABT CSBEEDUO SOOOOO FUCKING TRUE!!!!! Because here’s the thing about the 28th, where the two hang out: two facts coexist within it. (1) it was one of the happiest days in both of their lives in recent history, and (2) it was NOT ENTIRELY HEALTHY. which is why in the future i hope there can be some cross comparisons bc HERE IS THE THING! yes ranboo opened up more, yes they had a damn good time, yes tubbo came to terms more with being in love with ranboo, but the truth of dream’s interference in ranboo’s life was hanging over them the ENTIRE TIME, and you can SEE in this chapter that tubbo both really enjoyed the 28th and also resented it bc fuck dude that is stressful and ranboo’s life should NOT BE IN HIS HANDS but he thinks it is. they’re fucked up /pos

I could go on for forevera bt this one thing but what i love SO MUCH about these chapters rn is that we are truly seeing the worst of these characters. bc one of the most important things in mental health recovery is getting to a place where you don’t hate yourself enough to be outright a risk, and then once youre there actually thinking through the harm you did to other people. like it sounds harsh but its important! sorting through that shit makes u a better healthier and happier person! and what strikes me about this is not only how desperate wilbur is, but how fucking upsetting it is for BOTH of them. bc tubbo on one hand doesnt want this conversation forced on him, but wilbur also is in a weird place of “ijust told you something i never wanted to tell you and is deeply personal to me and after i tell you all that you STILL refuse to hear me out even a little”. it’s like. so fucked. and i love them. they have so much shit to work through!

im SO glad that the clingy scene had u emotional, and im SO glad that their arguments feel offputting bc THAT IS ALWAYS MY GOAL!!! i WANT it to feel strange and uncomfortable bc whether tubbo is aware of this or not, in basically the first half of this fic, these two did not fight. nothing serious anyway. they comforted each other and they started fights before immediately tubbo backs off and they drop it, they havent FOUGHT. which is why this scene is MEANT to gut punch you-- because it feels WRONG.

hey!!! i loved your galra apperanace detailed dissertation. i was wondering, after seeing the post - we know now that keith is at least some part galra. do you perhaps have happened to notice some physical attributes to that in his appearance? i've been searching but so far, to no avail. hopefully season 3 will give us the answers we all so desperately need? also another point shouild have been made: the good galras are total alien daddies, like hot dayum!!! is it a physical trait? who knows

So actually I’ve been looking into this.

So here we have a good shot of Keith’s face. I’m not sure why so many of the reference pictures I take feature the characters suffering.

It’s pretty fair to assume that if Keith ever does shift purple as seems to be implied by the whole “burned hand” incident, I think we can count on facial features and proportions staying mostly the same, since it’s important to establish and maintain an effective visual language to tell us who’s who and while it could be Keith might have unusual or distinctive galra traits we haven’t seen yet that help him be immediately recognizable in a crowd, the writers would also want to keep design elements that make him read similar to his human form. I’d guess his hair is one if nothing else because “I’d recognize that mullet anywhere” is a statement dying to be made into a brick joke.

Something I like to consider is that it’s quite possible Keith is not done growing and/or slightly malnourished, which might make him shorter than he really ‘should’ be. 

He is noticeably rather small and slight compared to most of the cast- and by galra standards he’d be tiny, but with the possible exception of Lotor, we haven’t seen any galra who aren’t middle-aged; it could also be possible that Keith is a perfectly normal height for someone his age and has a growth spurt lurking somewhere in his future, waiting to forever ruin his iconic jacket for him. 

Going further...

It’s worth noting that out of the main cast, Shiro, Keith, Allura and Pidge are the ones given distinctive eyelashes.

Shiro’s make sense given his ethnicity (and as much as I hate to rain on the eyeliner jokes- his eyelashes were like that in space jail, too. Rewatch s2e3 Shiro’s Escape if you don’t believe me. His eyes are just like that). With Pidge, those eyelashes seem to be a family trait- Matt also seems to have longer eyelashes to a degree. 

For Keith, however... I think it’s worth noting that Keith’s relatively short, thick dark lashes are actually a feature we see on many of the galra:

Prorok, for example.

Now, Keith’s eyes could, like Shiro’s, also be explained by ethnicity- in other continuities he’s had a Japanese surname (Kogane)-though, technically to my knowledge with the exception of Raible and Fala, in the original GoLion everybody was Japanese.

Other than that...

This is a very convenient picture because we can just straight-up compare Keith and Lance’s body types to each other and also any other reason you might have a need to see Keith and Lance mostly naked together.

Keith fits what could be considered a pretty standard galra build in terms of long torso, slim willowy profile with wider shoulders, but- comparing him to Lance we can say Keith’s proportions, at least at this stage in his life, are pretty dang human.

His hand isn’t particularly large or long-fingered either.

Now it could be this is all a big lie and Keith’s proportions either are a lot more conventionally galra (glamour theory) or those conventional galra proportions are something that waits until that final decisive adulthood sprouting. It’s also possible by pure luck and genetics Keith has just come out pretty human-shaped, which we see with Thace, is in fact a possibility.

That said, with Keith’s hair:

Most of the galra we’ve seen with distinct “hair”, with Ulaz as the sole exception, that hair is dark colored. Often, but not always it also grows on the neck- framing the face much like a lion’s mane (this is why I refer to it as such)

So you know what’s funny?

With immature lions, that mane tends to grow down the back of the neck towards the shoulders first, and then fill in more around the side of the neck.

Keith has pretty much never said anything in defense of his hairstyle, but, he doesn’t strike me as the type to enjoy sticking out by appearance alone.

I have a theory that Keith’s hairline actually grows down the back of his neck because it’s actually more of a mane, annnd it’s eventually going to grow on the rest of his neck. 

Other than that: Keith has a slightly high, flat nose and not particularly obvious cheekbones. He doesn’t seem to have an underbite, and generally his body type and face don’t stick out very obviously from the rest of the paladins.
