it's like a mix of anger, feral, emotional breakdown, and complete sadness that just fucks me up soooo fucking bad.

it's like she's a pet who got abandoned by their owner but they see them again after years of sadness and depression of them being gone and leaving them like that and all that anger and sadness just manifest's into one bundle of emotion's towards them they cannot control.

Tagged by the lovely @mellxncollie - obligatory reminder that the only reason I developed an interest in gifmaking is through looking at their stuff, and I picked up a bunch of tips and tricks from their gifmaking tag. Seriously, get in there.

Okay so, a breakdown!! Restricted this to stuff I’ve already posted (1, 2/3, 4, 5), in case anyone wants to do a side by side comparison.

The circles follow the order of 1) the (sharpened) original scene, the obvious one since it’s the darkest, 2) the first level of lightening and 3) the colouring, after which I do the final level of contrast and visibility.

Just so we’re all aware, I’m sitting here ready and primed to write essays if anyone wants further details.

#me #i dont really like my new gym but i guess i dont really have a choice and its only for the next 8 months #i have to be considerate about balancing gym and art/school so i dont end up overexerting and injuring myself #ngl i was fantasizing about bulking up again to recover the 20ish lbs ive lost this year from injury and burnout #but i think its for the best to keep things where they are so i dont push myself too hard and hurt my joints again #i need to focus on art/school more than anything else since my life and future depend on it and i cant afford to fuck it up

After finishing MDZS, reading metas that explain characters, terminology, and things in the book that I went over my head, I started looking at the fanfics I read with a side eye.

Why does it take Jiang Yanli, someone else’s sibling, who possesses the same character traits and qualities as MXY and Qin Su, to become a sibling to JGY, in order to save him? That no longer makes sense to me.

Wei Wuxian apologising to Jiang Cheng. This always angered me or had me conflicted. Sometimes I thought I was wrong for being upset that WWX was apologising. I would not like to read another fanfic with this scenario again.

Why is Jiang Cheng a renowned homophobe shipped with all the men? I get it, I get it, fan fiction. Still..

WWX sleeping around is not accurate.

WWX being an alcoholic is not either.

Why does reconciliation between Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng happen because WWX apologised? How about a fanfic where Jiang Cheng realised his faults and actively changes and he’s the one to apologise? If he can be gay, he can change his ways, and apologise. It’s fan fiction right? All things are possible.

Oh this is a fun coincidence! I DO know Baldur's Gate III, and I know the character your friend mentioned, and he does sound like stewie griffin roleplaying a discord kitten, that's a great fucking description. Just combine that mental image with that guy from that one barbie movie (white hair, funny scream) and you've got everyone's new favourite rat boy! (TBH I don't think he's that narratively unique, but he's integrated into the plot well and written excellently on a scene-by-scene basis and he's very well acted so I can get behind how compelling people find him xDD)

Anyways! The reason I know Baldur's Gate III is that it's, uh, actually my current hyperfixation. So,,,,, sorry for what you've inadvertently unleashed lol
