forever sad that season 1 of Earthspark was setting up an incredibly interesting dynamic where Starscream is an imperfect victim and the person who hurt him is already seen as good by most people while they still judge him but season 2 throws all of it away for a shallow generic mcguffin take over the world plot

The fact that he says "You believe me?" really gets me, like you'd probably feel like you're insane now that everyone reveres the person who hurt you as a hero while you get forced into prison/hiding. Season 1 did such a good job of humanizing the Decepticons it makes perfect sense for them to be so aggressive in that scenario

If season 2 retained the quality of season 1 I imagine the plot would have lead to Starscream finally being free from persecution, never forgiving Megatron, but realizing the fact that someone can get better and you can move on and heal without ever making amends with someone who hurt you. but alas. the thread gets left loose and will never be resolved in a satisfying way after that dip in quality
