Ok so I came here for Star Wars and I’m happily enjoying the DC stuff despite knowing nothing about it. I’m asking without looking it up in case this ends up being amusingly wrong - Connor Kent is… Superman’s son/clone? And Tim Drake Im pretty confident is Robin #3? And they seem to be widely shipped together? Or is it more of a rare pair crack ship? If it’s popular, what made it so popular? Do they have a lot of issues where they tag team and flirt? How would you describe their dynamic?

You've got a solid handle on it so far! You're right that Conner Kent (his Kryptonian name being Kon-El) is a clone made up of Clark Kent and Lex Luthor's DNA, grown in a lab that he was eventually rescued from, which caused a lot of awkward, weird feelings for Clark at the time and so he doesn't really consider him a son, but they don't necessarily have a word for what they are, other than that they're family. Originally, Kon's powers weren't really the same as Superman's, he had tactile telekinesis, but over the course of a lot of years, he started developing the more traditional powerset, flight, superstrength, heat vision, etc. He's also gone through a lot of stuff over the years, as all superheroes do, but Kon's had it kind of rough, including dying and eventually being brought back. Tim is indeed Robin #3, though, for awhile he was fired as Robin and became Red Robin instead (while Damian was Robin, but IIRC Damian's not currently Robin?), but I believe he's currently picked up the mantle again and is just Robin. Primarily, Tim and Kon's dynamic happened in pre-Nu52 comics (the big DC reboot), but MAN were they A Thing. Not officially, Tim hadn't come out as bi yet back then (and no official content for Kon as anything other than straight), but their dynamic was super shippy in their Young Justice and Teen Titans comics and almost everyone I know was like, "Yeah, technically they were dating other people, but we all know they're each other's real love interest.", being semi-tongue-in-cheek, but also semi-serious. To the point, when Kon died (you can call him Kon or Conner, they're kind of interchangeable), even when the others had moved on, Tim was straight up trying to re-clone him, despite that it wouldn't be his Kon, he just couldn't not have Kon in the world. So, it's basically your typical Super/Bat style ship, which has a lot of They're The Best Of Friends moments in canon and aren't entirely Normal about each other, but it gets taken up a notch because most of their canon ships aren't nearly as popular or as enduring as their relationship with each other. If I'm missing anything or mislead anon, feel free to jump in, it's been awhile since I read anything with them, though, now I'm eyeing those Teen Titans and YJ trades my library has....

Were there any episodes in season 3 where you felt they could've been written better? I'm only asking because I had some ideas I wanted to share with people about fixing them since, to me, the season started becoming a mess around The Phantom and the Sorceress. And the episodes don't need to be outright bad, there could just be parts in it you didn't like.

Oof. I've been a bit loud and obnoxious about certain episodes for sure 😅 I'll try to briefly sum up a few.

Also I'm just gonna say, some of these are just I don't like what they did rather than any huge fundamental problems like the finale.

Also disclaimer. This is not an attack on anyone who likes these episodes! Nobody has to agree with me! If you like these episodes cool! Glad you got something out of it! This is just Tombs being a nit pick loud mouth.

Rumble for Ragnarok

I can't complain too much about this one as it was still entertaining. Norse is part of my heritage and I'm a fan of the mythology which was on full display this episode. My only real issue this episode is that the message gets a little lost at least on me. And then two is I think out of all the episodes this one is the one that could absolutely be thrown out without losing anything really important. Trade this episode for something different. Something more important.

The Forbidden Fountain of the Forever Glades

Scrooge's behavior and leaving Webby in the jungle was painful to watch. (Much as I don't like the finale twist, the twist actually makes this episode worse.) [Also so much for Goldie's "fresh start" when in Split Sword of Swanstitine later showed she once again attempted to double cross Scrooge. Yeah. Fresh start. Totallyyyy.] Goldie is a fun character and I can't hate her too much. The episode has its merits and definitely still think this episode should be around but Scrooge's behavior here really kills me. Thankfully at the end he does better but ugh. It's low on the overall ranking for me based on how he behaves and treats Webby.

New Gods on the Block

I actually really love this episode but Storkules was pissing me off too much 😂 Nit pick for sure. I love this himbo but got dangit he was making me so mad. I get it was kinda important for the overall plot but come on we got so little Donsy content that it was frustrating that he was so intrusive.

The First Adventure

Nit picking again. I think it's kinda random how in the span of a few hours a hard ass like Scrooge went from "my obnoxious niece and nephew" to "my heirs and beloved family." I guess it's possible but not a fan of that kind of writing. For me it would make more sense that they had several adventures or at least more time with them before they became "his heirs" in his eyes. Extreme nit picking on my part though, the episode isn't bad at all really. Also no Hortense and Quackmore. Yes they were named. (Or she was) No we never got to see them. Rude! This was actually a really good episode though overall again I just have some minor nit picks.

The Fight for Castle McDuck

Okay this one is also kind of a nit pick but it's more like based on the episode's timing. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that Webby "Knower of all things Clan McDuck" has no idea that a family of Scots fights a lot. I can somewhat forgive it though as she's young and isn't as familiar with this side of the family in the flesh. But it's so weird how this late into the show we're seeing this?? I think I would have liked this episode more if it had popped up earlier into season 3 rather than so late? It just was a kinda weird episode and not the most enjoyable but the timing I think made it worse. Also the no mention of Hortense again. Referring to Matilda as the youngest when that's supposed to be Hortense? It's really not the worst episode. It just feels a bit off to me and again to me mostly the timing of it. Could have been better, could have been worse.

How Santa Stole Christmas

THROW THIS EPISODE INTO THE FUCKING GARBAGE. HATE HATE HATE IT. THIS ONE ACTUALLY MAKES ME RAGE.

This episode is actually worse for me than the finale. Literally I consider this episode the worst in the series. I just hate it!!!

I hate that this episode was about Scrooge and Santa. I really don't give a fuck why Scrooge hates Santa and this story in no way compelled me. (Also why was Scrooge and Santa's dialog weirdly shippy??? Thanks to this episode got another huge NOtp, "scranta" is gross, sorry, hate it. Absolutely cannot board that ship at all, I have the tag blocked.) I see absolutely no reason why this was the story we got when there was literally an option to follow up The Last Christmas now that Della was finally home????? MISSED OPPORTUNITY!!! I hate the weird crazy ass capitalist message going on throughout the episode, I get Scrooge is a capitalist himself but he didn't change from this episode? He walked away from Jennifer's obvious poverty life and went "ah as long as she's happy" instead of I don't know, maybe a message about helping the less fortunate??

Look maybe I'm just bitter from my own life. I've lived in extreme poverty my whole life. My parents home has literally looked so much liked the ruined place Jennifer lived in during the episode. And I live in Alaska so I KNOW COLD. I know how it feels to go cold for days on end, no food, no water, nothing. Extreme poverty. Scrooge could have done something. He wasn't like Donald who doesn't have much either. He's a freaking billionaire. He could have helped. And instead the message he walked away with is "if you're happy life is fine" or something. Whatever the message that was supposed to be from this episode is completely lost on me because all I see is a miserable rich old miser who hates letting kids have fun and won't help someone in need. Absolute garbage episode. I really wish they had instead just followed up on The Last Christmas. Or had some kind of family centric episode at least! I seriously fucking hate this episode so much. I would legit erase this episode if I could it is the WORST.

The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker

Nit pick again. Didn't love what they did with Kit. Okay I get the idea he grew up to idolize Baloo so he turned out more like him. It...wasn't great. Didn't like that much at all. Felt like they just tried to shove Kit into a DT87/DWD Launchpad mold. I didn't love that Baloo and Kit's relationship was mentioned weirdly casually? Like Kit called himself Baloo's sidekick??? Except in Talespin Kit calls him Papa Bear??? Also great, got another tag to block from this episode, the delkit ship. Not a fan, thanks.

Kinda weird for me with this episode I didn't really catch the meaning of it. To me it felt like the message was "defy expectations...by meeting them." It didn't really click and I kinda hated it for that plus the weird characterization of Kit. Actually I was on Twitter and someone was complaining about this episode and I responded in agreement and then FRANK REPLIED TO US 😅😅😅. Frank explained that the point was more of "if you're good at something, don't give it up" rather than "you can do anything you set your mind to" type message that appears a lot in kids media. (Also Frank please don't look at me when I'm criticizing the show 😂😂😂😂😭 I promise overall I do love it I'm just a loud mouth when I don't like something some times 😅)

After Frank explained that it did click a little better and I can see the message a bit more clearly. But I'm still not really in love with this episode like I wanted to be. I freaking love Talespin so that was a bummer. But as I've said a dozen times. I'm mostly nit picking my personal opinion.

The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck

Another one I wanted to like more than I actually did. And mostly this boils down to Louie having to apologize to Doofus when Doofus is the one who's like some wild sociopath or something. I get it Louie hasn't been completely innocent towards Doofus. He did try to use him and con him but Doofus flat out has tried to hold him captive and torture and even kill him. Doofus' sins outweigh Louie's. Louie having to apologize to prevent the tension and all just...feels like victim blaming? This one is harder for me to describe why I don't like it and I think others have explained it better than me. I think it could have been better if Louie AND Doofus both apologized and agreed to start over and let what happened between them before be water under the bridge. At least this way they're equals? Maybe it wouldn't have been the best fix but I feel it would have been better than Canon. This one I don't want to call a nit pick. This one feels like there is something fundamentally wrong with it but I struggle to explain. Mostly other than that though I think the episode was fine. A little weird that the karma court scale needed to be told the villains hearts rather than able to just know them (mostly looking at the Ma Beagle one here) but that part is more nit pick.

And finally...The Last Adventure

I have things I love about it. The individual character moments. The references and call backs. The music. This finale was clearly made with love and care.

But that damn Webby clone daughter thing twist changes things. I know some people say it doesn't but to me it does! I feel it messed with the family dynamic and the characters in a needless way. I feel it didn't add anything to but rather did take away from. I don't wanna say too much on it as there's already been so much talk on it so in keeping it brief- not a fan, didn't like, why the hell, no.

The thing with Bradford kinda threw me off too. His logic and insistence on not being a villain made him so interesting. He was truly a villain to rival Scrooge. Then in my opinion he was pushed into a weird middle ground. He didn't feel like he completely abandoned what he previously stood on but also didn't go full villain either? I get a villain like Bradford isn't easy. The writers have to truly bring their all for someone like him. But Bradford suddenly getting armor and the Split Sword and becoming a battling giant was kinda ????? inducing. Threw me for a bit of a loop. I probably need to watch this episode a few more times before I finally settle on where I sit with the Bradford thing but at least at this time I just feel kinda mixed on it. Maybe I missed something there.

Other nit picks from the finale. Donald's writing was a little weird, he sounded like he was going on vacation but then Della said he was moving out and Donald talked like "well you have the boys and Uncle Scrooge..." it just really sounds like he's leaving the family?????????? Especially at a time like this? Rude! I mean yes somebody please get this man a vacation but the writing here left me kinda confused and there is no reason Donald would ever just leave and act like "oh well their mom is back so my work here is done." Nope. DADnald for life.

Lena and Webby never getting shown to have made up after their fight. I imagine the giving June and May the friendship bracelets kinda implies it but come on. Even just a hug would have been good. Also...why are they giving up their friendship bracelets??? Confused, not a fan.

And also...in addition to the Clone twist, I really don't love that April, May, and June were all clones instead of Daisy's nieces. I really wanted to get to see them in the show and now I just feel like thanks I hate it! I admire the guts to make a twist like this and all but I really hate it.

Overall please let me say I LOVE Ducktales. The show as a whole to me is a huge important thing I love. This isn't an attack on anyone who likes these episodes. I am just once again being loud and obnoxious with my own opinions and nit picks and things I just would have liked to see or not see.

I’m having a shitty, rude alter-y, crap night so I’m just going to answer all of these to distract myself and focus and to not bother anybody just making my own post and putting it under the cut btw, notice to anyone not aware: since I’m moving I won’t likely be updating anything until I’m done doing so.

1. From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing?  (No downplaying yourself!) 3/5? Could use more editing and description and can be weirdly paced.

2. Why do you write fanfiction? Because it’s better than focusing on pain 24/7. 

3. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works? I don’t seem to have a specific narrative voice that people recognize but I’m pretty proud of mostly organic dialogue. 

4. Are there any writers that inspire you? as a rule i never look up to anybody for inspiration but there’s some stuff in my ao3 bookmarks I fawn over.

5. What’s the fic you’re most proud of? Right now, none of them. It changes normally, anyway. If get too proud then I’d get my ass kicked by RSD if someone didn’t like it so it’s safer this way

6. What element of writing do you find comes easily? Dialogue. 

7. What element of writing do you struggle with most? Organic description, poetic language kind of stuff. I can paint a scene but I’m not so great with bring out out a feeling with description alone.

8. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write? Janus and Virgil are probably tied. They both have things I struggle with but I don’t have to go back and do much adjusting of language and tone with them. Though admittedly my Virgil is signifigantly more foul-mouthed than canon and I tend to prefer pre-AA feral asshole Virgil.

9. Which character(s) do you find most difficult to write? Patton. I write him the least, so people can probably tell. I love Patton, I really do, but it’s so hard to keep away from fanon Patton. 

10. What’s your favorite genre to write for? Angst w/ H/C obviously. Or if you’re talking about regular book genres, Fantasy. I fucking love fantasy world building.

11. Who or what do you find yourself writing about most? Trauma. I blame Daeram. As if Ayri isn’t a giant Angst Demon.

12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about. Slopes. I’m really into it. I’ve got three one shots running right now. Patrons can read the first part of the unnamed cat remus one, there’s also a coffeeshop au tropey nonsense one like eglantine & lycoris, but Slopes is addiction angst. Mmmmm. Virgil is addicted to coke and alcohol and will listening to his friends even be in time? Who knows, especially not me, but there’s already over 30k. 

13. First fandom you ever wrote for? InuYasha. Or was it Harry Potter? Or shit, The Blue Sword? Fuck, I’ve been writing for a long time, I really have no idea.

14. What’s your favorite fandom to write for? Sanders Sides. The characters are the perfect dynamic for writing since they exist in balance of each other and the popular, easy to project on archetypes featured are incredibly fun to do basically any scenario with.

15. What’s the weirdest fandom you’ve ever written for? Weird storywise? Kingdom Hearts? I can’t even follow the plot anymore. Weird Fandomwise? Sanders Sides. Its simultainiously the fluffiest and angstiest nonsense at the same time.

16. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)? Vampires. Gay ones. Gay Vampires. I also love calm tol and angy smol.

17. A trope you’ll never, ever write for. Any tropes that normalize incredibly toxic behaviour or tropes that are inherantly ableist, but I can’t think of any.

18. Wildest fic you’ve ever written? Incorrigible continues to be complete nonsense.

19. Do you prefer canon-compliant, AUs, or something in-between? AUs. I mean closest I even have is canon-divergence other than a single short.

20. Gen fic or shippy stuff? I like it when there is gay nonsense along with a plot that is treated as more important than the relationship the most. But I like both. There’s more shippy stuff in tss so i read more shipping action by default.

21. Favorite pairing to write for? (platonic or romantic!) Anxceit/Sleepxiety, but in general, give me darksides or give me death/j

22. Do you listen to anything while you write? Almost everything I write has a special playlist I listen to to help me write it, but otherwise I listen to my Nyan playlist, an alter is picking the tunes, or a voidfam playlist. I never have music off. When my internet is down I just listen to the songs I own or Anxiety’s theme on loop.

23. Do you prefer prompts and challenges, or completely independent ideas? I’m fine with all of them. I love working with prompts but I tend to deviate. And I’ve never done a challenge since I can’t do deadlines and bad things happen bingo never sent me a card and I applied three times.

24. One-shots or multi-chaptered works? I am generally multi-chaptered stuff, but I’ve been working on a few one-shots lately that are much longer than most one shots.

25. Have you ever daydreamed about side adventures/spin-offs from your fic? Tell us about them! I was originally thinking of doing some little 13-year-old Dreaming!Roman (y’know, the one with a job) shorts but it turns out I just had an alter of that little bastard and that’s why I inexplicably know more about him then I ever even considered. I still might do them after Dreaming is done. But that’s paced so slowly who knows when that might happen. Otherwise I put stuff in my notes and just do shorts of it if I’m like “oh you know what’s cool???” but since I can’t daydream maybe this question doesn’t apply to me.

26. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try? I want to do more autism stuff, and I’ve had it demanded a few times, but I’m scared of being that explict about it for some reason. Possibly because I might be, possibly because I’m scared of doing it wrong even though I’ve accidentally coded multiple characters autistic. I’m scared of explictly tagging them as such, too. 

27. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received? That I can remember off the top of my head? I’m going with one from @a-genz-with-trauma-and-kins. It really helped me out and was just so kind and literally the best christmas gift I got in 2020. 

28. How well do you handle criticism when it comes to your writing? I can handle it alright but Daeram is a little fucking pissbaby about it. Constructive criticism helps people get better, so I appreciate it. I can’t handle critism that is incomplete, though. “i just don’t get it” or “I don’t know I don’t like it” kind of things. If I can’t understand the why to fix it then things get out of control. And then I spiral and RSD for like four days minimum. If it came from an anon or a troll, too, It might not bother me for as long. Things that are just like “this is shit and you should feel bad” just make me laugh. Couldn’t even bother to read it long enough to insult me proper? I don’t care.

29. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out? I have a few times. Mostly in shorts and prompts, I think. I think they turned out okay. They’re not particularly inspired or anything.

30. Tooth-rotting fluff or merciless angst? Depends on my mood. Am I triggered? give me the fluff. Am I vibin? Angst. 

31. Do you have any OCs? Tell us about them! Fuck, fam, no, I can’t, I have so many. I have multiple original stories and some of them have very large casts and like holy fuck. Or do you mean in Sanders Sides fandom? Um, Morgan and Thorn in PD. The lesbian and her himbo dynamic. I love them. They’re dorks. Morgan is strong person with sharp tongue and soft romantic heart and Thorn is just so kind and so dumb and so exciteable he’s like a puppy. They were just filler characters and I got attached to them. Felton even gets redemption for being an ass later in PD, like oof i never intended to include so much OC content, especially for names I just picked randomly.

Is there anything you wish your audience knew about your writing or writing process? an alter and I write together and I have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen, what I’m writing about, or even what year it is. I often don’t even remember what I wrote. There’s no outline. I have an idea and I pick things at random for it. There’s just notes and an evil gleam in a demon’s eye. The only reason I know more than readers is because I take a long time to edit and some of these stories have fucking alters up in my head who can tell me things. Daeram tells me nothing. The writing demon supposedly has all this knowledge but I have absolutely no clue because he does not talk to me, he just fronts and slams out 9k in a few hours or we cofront to write and I’m like “oh no she didn’t” while typing

Copy and paste an excerpt you’re particularly fond of. i’m fond of the entire painful death series and I tried to find something I really liked without spoilers in stargazing and I couldn’t so here’s a random thing from incorrigble: “So, what do you do with your friends?” Patton continued on with a megawatt smile. “Grand larceny,” Virgil deadpanned and glared at Patton, who was taken aback. Remy and Andy just broke out laughing while Virgil tentatively sipped his still-too-hot-cocoa. 

35. Ramble about any fic-related thing you want!  slopes my dudes slopes i have learned so much about cocaine! like wow! I thought for a minute it was going to end with MCD around 30k but it swtiched from whump to hurt/comfort and I still don’t know if it’s going to be MCD but look at that funky little coke/alcohol addict go, it’s a medical wonder he’s alive! It’s not like there’s what seems to be a little talked about interaction between alcohol and cocaine that causes a toxic chemical to build up in the liver which can result in liver failure and sudden death at basically any moment! Which is part of why it may result in MCD but this time no ghosts! maybe it’ll be h/c with whump elements or maybe it’ll be whump with h/c elements we can’t know for sure

Unsurprisingly, there are people in the tags calling Raven a hypocrite (among worse things lol) because she was understanding with Murphy versus “acting like a bitch!!” with Clarke.

First of all: DUH?!? OF COURSE Raven has different standards for Murphy and Clarke LMFAO. We all do, specially when it comes to the people we like (hell, love) versus those we… don’t XDD. Of course, Raven comforted Murphy, talked softly to him, encouraged him. She loves him, he’s her family. Even if Clarke was just some random girl who had never hurt her, it’s OBVIOUS she’d react differently with Murphy smh.

But err… Clarke isn’t that? Murphy hurt Raven (and A LOT) once. He actively tried to help her immediately afterwards, several times. Even after Raven had wronged him too at some point (attempting to turn him in for Finn). Eventually he apologized for it, which was meaningful because she KNEW he wouldn’t hurt her again. He supported her, shared air with her, bonded with her, helped with rescue attempts. And Clarke?

Even putting aside that SINCE SEASON ONE, their relationship has been at best contentious (I really don’t get the people that say these two have ever been besties lmao. You mean back when Clarke acted like a condescending asshole when she needed something from Raven in s1? Yeah, I’m sure you all liked that rme). And the last time they saw each other?

Clarke had put an electric collar on Madi, the surrogate-daughter she was willing to sacrifice Raven’s friends for (and she’d just left Bellamy to die). Let’s remember Raven had been just electrocuted by Abby, who she explicitly links to her own mother, btw. And ofc, Clarke followed that by handing her to be (and watching someone she cared about) tortured, AGAIN. OFC she snapped at her after her weak-ass apology LMAO.

And ofc she was understanding of Murphy? First of all, he didn’t harm HER, so why would she need to act hurt or like he needs to apologize to her? And she just heard that Murphy thought Clarke was dead and there was nothing to be done, so he struck a deal. That’s very different than what Clarke did.

ANYWAY, yeah. You’re just pissed off at Raven and Murphy because they didn’t put your fave above themselves, and now they DARE to not put her over each other, because it reminds you your fave isn’t their priority. Miss me with that bullshit.

btw, this storyline has illustrated perfectly how a lot of Murven “shippers” are just Clarke/BC stans that convenience-ship them to get Raven out of the way lmfao (and probably, that think Memori has way too powerful storylines that their ship “deserves” instead RME). I mean, I knew that before, because none that genuinely loved Murphy would hate Emori or Memori, given how much they add to his storyline, but STILL. There were people complaining because they couldn’t enjoy their scene because “Raven was such a bitch!!” and Murphy deserved the worst and blahblahblah xDDD.

Honestly, I prefer it when they show their true colors lol, just admit you don’t care about either of them and stop concern-trolling (I’ve also seen complaints that Raven was “OOC” because “they want her to prop some white bad boy’s feelings!!” HAHAHAHA HILARIOUS). Especially since I lowkey like Murven (tho I neither want it to happen in canon –it would just risk Murphy’s storyline IMO–, nor do I think it will tbh), simply because they’re my faves separately and their relationship probably my favourite one in the entire show, which for me usually leads to ~vague shippy feels even when I canonically only see them as platonic. So it’s annoying that I can’t manage to summon enthusiasm for fanon content when it’s obvious it comes from a position of not wanting either character to have the narrative goodies canon provided them xD

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? :

Hm, well it depends. I absolutely will not write anything underage/adult. That’s a hard pass and I don’t generally write anything romantic before they’re older adults anyway. If am I’m writing them when they’re younger for some reason, it has to be within a year or two (equivalent. Elves are complicated)--and it generally stays in the realm of mentioning a crush where nothing actually happens. As their “normal” ages, Haleth I won’t ship with anyone more than five years or so younger than her, but will ship with anyone any amount older than her. Curufin and Celebrimbor are both tricky because they’re elves, but I tend to be more comfortable writing Celebrimbor with people born after YT and Curufin with people born during or before. If I should ever write either of them with a non-elf, they have to be over 30 or so. This is more a matter of life experience than anything else.

TL;DR, no pedophilia and the closer in life experience the better. The older they are, the bigger the acceptable age gap, but it varies depending on species bc of maturation/etc. Keep in mind Haleth is 36 at youngest most of the time, and Curufin and Celebrimbor are damn elves. Pls don’t ask me to do math. I normally resort to going off of generations.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? : 

 I want to say yes but lbr I’m so not. If there’s chemistry, I ship it. My muses also tend to get crushes on other people, which is not something I define as shipping but is something I’ll IM you about if I notice it starting so you know and I can tune it down if needed.  

Please, please, please remember Celebrimbor is demi. He’s the hardest to ship with on my blog and it’s a rare day when he has more than platonic feelings for someone. Going straight from starting a relationship to sexual comments is not going to do anything but make it awkward.

In all honesty, I struggle to write kisses. Anything more than that is very hard for me except for once in a blue moon. But I’d say clothes off or explicit details about shit is what marks it as ns/fw for me.

So you're cool person & I hope I don't mind me ranting. I'm not a shipper, I love bleach w all my heart, I didn't care who ends up with who, but it was obvious & I like IH&RR. But this is not what I wanna talk about, I was looking at some Byakuya edits & suddenly realized that there aren't enough Byakuya material here, & I just realized that I loved him wholeheartedly, it makes me depressed that there aren't enough fans for him, I see lots of Ulquiorra fans, but majority of them of are shippers

I can totally understand you and whether you believe it or not, I totally agree with you. 

Well, I am a shipper and at some point I made the main focus of my blog ship-related content just because I enjoy it and I like to talk about RenRuki and like the stuff others are producing for it. 

But I totally agree that the shipping fandom is very vocal, especially in a series like Bleach- I don’t consider the romance aspects in Bleach as very important tbh. I enjoy my niche with RenRuki but I am aware that it is a super small aspect of the series and frankly, I think it is a very minor subject as a whole. 

This is one reason why I don’t like to get involved with fanwars about the ships, because I am not sure what it’s so important to fight about the romantic couples. I can totally understand why people would discuss theories about the story itself, but couples are more about personal tastes. Of course, also I like stuff that shows Renji and Rukia together, and I like to interpret details with them but I know in the end that is not the core of Bleach but more a small hobby part. Even though my blog is mainly about my favourite ship, I am also a huge part of the series itself.  

I too think that the shipping stuff in Bleach is way too overrated as a whole. I enjoyed Bleach as what it was- a shounen series, that had much of symbolism, fights and character development and much more. That was completely unrelated to which ship I liked. If RenRuki wouldn’t be canon I still would love that series with all my heart, that is why I can’t relate to people that burn their mangas or are so bitter that they attack fellow fans or Kubo himself over pairings. (tbh while Bleach was still running I believed that there would be an open ending, even though I would have thought that IH and RR would be heavily implied by the end). 

I am not sure if that is site-related. On tumblr, the majority of content is pairings and shipping stuff, which is always and in every fandom connected with wank. I like the Bleach forum on reddit for that reason because on that site people are more discussing story elements and theories and only from time to time the shipping stuff comes up. I feel that the majority of people over there also do not like fandom wank and Kubo-bashing so it is a nice place to hang out for Bleach general content. 

I also dearly wish that the anime will come back and animate the last arc, and actually NOT because of the RR content, but because this arc was awesome right?? A year ago I made a re-read of the whole last arc and it was so exciting I couldn’t stop reading. I want to see the fights animated, I want to see Renji’s new bankai animated, I want to see Adult Toushirou, the sternritter and so much more stuff. 

Bleach is an exciting manga, and so much more than the pairings. And I totally understand that non-shippers get frustrated when it is all about shipping content and not about other elements too.

A lot of them are intended as JuminV (in op’s tags) and it’s very rude not only to the creator but uncomfortable to LGBTQIA people seeing sexuality erased on shippy materials so often. It makes you look low key high key homophobic protesting they are friends and would never end up together and I know you do not necessarily intend it that way

Dear Nonny, Thank you for taking the time to try to educate me on something problematic and may cause distress to our LGBTQIA community. You are right I do not intend it that way. I am a huge supporter of our dear friends and would never want to make them feel marginalised or as if their relationships and sexuality dont matter. They do, you are right. However. You are also right that it does come off as mean- and I said ‘try to educate’ because instead of hitting the right chord and giving me a true ‘aha!’ moment about my behaviour it has made me feel attacked and left me reeling. You could have just messaged me directly so I could have had a chance to really respond to you and learn more, I love learning. If I can rectify my behaviour and save someone from ever feeling the way you do, then I will; however labelling me as “low key high key homophobic”… that’s a bit of a stretch isn’t it. 

I have literally written pieces expressing romantic and sexual relationships for both heterosexual and homosexual couples in multiple fandoms. I have reblogged pieces depicting their love with tags such as intimacy or domesticity or this is beautiful. You have seen some examples of me being possibly being careless and pounced upon me and has left your true underlying message in the background and all that I’m left with is the resounding feeling that I, am in poor taste. You have literally snapshotted my whole tag, nay my account, as someone who can seem homophobic and that really gets under my skin. My tag bffs for life is literally my own system to find images of jumin and jihyun who canonically are bffs for life and it makes me happy to see work of them reveling in their friendship. I never intended for anyone to perceive it as stamp of my opinion that they could never be anything else. I have in the past enjoyed polyamory work with them as a loving and understanding couple, both in written and artistic form, and whilst it is still in my opinion they would make better best friends than lovers- i do not disagree that is impossible that they could ever be more. Additionally you saying my tag is negative is negative in itself- you seem to be saying that once people are lovers they cease being best friends… and that’s just wrong. They could very well be lovers, but that doesn’t stop them from still having that best friend status because of their relationship. It’s like youre saying that my husband is no longer my best friend because he’s my husband, that’s just not true. I will however admit that I can be rather lazy and hasty in my reblogging. I’ve gone through the tag on my blog and noticed maybe two or three that upon closer inspection could be shipping content and for that I do apologise. I just see the content I like, I get excited and I reblog, tagging in a way that I know I’ll be able to go back and see the wonderful work. Although even going in some of those tags… it’s not obvious that they’re being shipped. The Court Jester (1955) [SAFETY]

Fandom content notes: A few references to death and some mild violence. The main character is sometimes enchanted to court another character.

Liberty’s Kids (Cartoon) (40 x 30 minute episodes.)

Fandom content notes: It’s the American Revolution so there is a fair amount of violence. There’s hardly any blood shown on screen but they don’t shy away from showing how terrible war is. A character is tarred and feathered. Slavery and racism are also portrayed and specifically shown to be wrong. One of the main characters nearly dies from a smallpox inoculation.

Fandom specific DNW: The war, slavery, or smallpox as a focus. Appearances by those things are fine, just not a video based around them.

Ships: Sarah/James.

I’d especially love a found family focus or a Sarah/James video. But also, feel free to get creative and make a video about the historical aspects and set it to whatever musical choice you like. Fandom content notes: A small amount of harassment played for laughs, from Hildy to Chip and between Ozzie and Claire. One line in a song presents street harassment as a cute element of small town life.

Fandom content notes: There are some scenes of war and violence in flashback. There is a flashback where two characters are drugged and shanghaied. At least one horse is injured/possibly killed. There is discussion of hunting the lion. The lion eventually dies of heart failure. Fish and salesmen are shot at. There are a number of guns. There is a reference to a character having died in childbirth. One character has a heart attack and recovers. Two main characters die off-screen. There’s a brief scene with child abuse.

Fandom specific DNW: The brief funeral for the lion. The deleted scene funeral.

Ships: Jasmine/Hub. (Lesser extent: Walter/His Wife, Walter/Sheik’s Grandson)

I would love absolutely anything you want to make here. I especially love the relationship between Walter and his uncles, and the love story between Jasmine and Hub. I absolutely adore the soundtrack to the stage musical if that inspires anything.

This movie just makes me so happy. I love all the female friendship so much. Although the fandom was approved as “Sister Act (Movies)” I’m really only interested in the first film. I’m okay with clips of the male characters but this is a rare fandom that’s almost entirely women and I would rather focus on them.

Fandom content notes: A number of the famous works of literature that Wishbone retells include character death. At least one literary story involves a deal with the devil. At least one episode contains scenes set in a cemetery at night. Several characters have lost parents and a one-off character is stated to be dealing with food insecurity. In one episode the kids get locked in a burning building and escape.

Fandom specific DNW: Anything related to death. “Dog Days of the West” (I’ve never seen it.)

Tumblr Tag for Fandom: Wishbone (Pretty sparse but there it is.)

Ships: My only real ships are Ellen/Walter and Wanda/Bob. I find the idea of a Walter/Ellen/Wanda/Bob polycule interesting, possibly including David’s parents.

For this fandom I’m mostly interested in a video focused on the “real-life” parts of the episodes. The storylines involving Joe and his friends. A little bit of Wishbone inserting himself into famous works of literature wouldn’t go amiss, but it’s not my preference for a video focus. Though if you have the most perfect song for a video about Wishbone imagining himself in stories, I would love to see it. I’d most like a video focused on the characters’ friendship. Or one about family.

Yoongi has just discovered his neighbor that he thinks is too damn loud is actually an internet camboy.

Chaos ensues when they start seeing each other. Things get hard–literally.

Family!au where Jimin’s just trying to survive high school, Taehyung keeps weirding everyone out, Namjoon is an embarrassing dad, Jin is supermom, and Jungkookie’s just along for the ride.

4) Trolling ARMY (OT7, brotp, no pairings, BTS universe)

“The boys play a game where they compete to see who can get the most "shippy” comments of the week.“ Yoongi watched from an armchair on the other side of the room, trying not to chuckle. Ever since he’d learned the term shipping, he’d watched his brothers with a different eye. None of them were gay–though Namjoon had once drunkenly pontificated at length about his distaste for labels–or interested in one another. But they were all a little…handsy.

5) TRB in NYC (OT7, brotp, no pairings, BTS universe)

"What happened?” Namjoon asked, his voice tight. They had been skirting around him all day. As if he didn’t know. He found it darkly funny. His English was better than all of them combined, even their manager. He’d read the tweets, the posts, the threats. He’d tried to keep the other members from it as much as he could, but everyone had an inkling things had escalated past normal fan stuff.

“We’ve had a credible threat.”

Based on the threats that they received when they performed at New York. BTS hurting and comforting each other.

6) 7 minutes in heaven (*)

“It’s a fusion game. The person who spins the bottle gets to ask the person it landed on truth or dare, and if that person doesn’t want to answer or do the dare then they either take a shot or take off an article of clothing,” Jin says like he’s proud of improvising such a fantastic game.

“I’m not playing that,” Yoongi says. “Hyung, don’t be a party pooper, are you scared we’ll learn your secrets?” Hoseok asks and Namjoon ah’s dramatically. Yoongi shakes his head and puts his tongue in his cheek before he smiles at their antics, pushing Namjoon over closer to Jin so that he can sit down. “Please, hyung, it sounds like fun!” Jungkook says. “It’s my birthday.” 

I’m a simple girl. I love seeing a devoted and whipped Yoongi for Jimin even before they start dating. I love an innocent and kind Jimin crushing on his firend’s older brother who is kinda a bad boy and very cool. And I love BTS getting together, spitting embarrassing secrets and playing spin the bottle. This fic has all these elements and that’s why it’s one of my favorite readings of the month.

It’s my first time reading a fic in which someone has a gift because I’m more into stories that aren’t too fictional, but apart from Yoongi being able to read people’s minds, it doesn’t have any other “supernatural” elements so I decided to give it a try and I really enjoyed it. It was super cute reading about Jimin’s thoughts about Yoongi and I liked how the author developed their relationship and Jimin’s reaction towards Yoongi’s gift.

As you may know by now I’M A SUCKER FOR SOULMATE AUS. So... yeah. I read another one and LOVED IT. I live for this kind of angst and I’d love to give a more thorough review but I don’t want to spoil it so go read it because it’s sadly just two chapters but full of good shit.

Jimin is excited to just sleep for a day and maybe catch up on some tv shows at the hotel.

That is, until they get to the new hotel they’re staying at, and he gets handed a room key that’s the same as Yoongi’s. Meaning, he and Yoongi will share a room and worse, he and Yoongi will have to share a bed.

“Why do I have to share with Yoongi-hyung?” Jimin complains. He’s managed to avoid it this whole trip which is really in his best interest if he wants to keep his raging heart boner for him hidden.

AKA my response to Yoonmin sharing a bed, 8 years too late.

BTS universe. I liked this whole idea. Just... just go read it *blushes and hides*

11) The Songbird and the Sea (*)

But when his island is attacked by pirates, Jimin will have no other choice than to do as they command and leave all thoughts of peace behind in favor of boarding the Agust, a pirate ship captained by the infamous Min Yoongi, Black Fox of the East.

GO READ THIS MASTERPIECE OH MY GOD. I’ve never been interested in fiction heavy aus like pirates, superheroes, etc. but I’d heard such great things about this story, the author is lovely and this is the Yoonmin fic with the most kudos on AO3, so I decided to give it a try and BEST DECISION I’VE MADE THIS MONTH. It’s made me feel so many emotions. I’ve cried, laughed, screamed, blushed and became a mess. The author also gives music recommendations to listen to while reading the chapters and it gives the story that extra something (I actually created playlists for each chapter and I like them so much that I listen to them even when I’m going somewhere lol). Seriously, I’m obsessed with this story, the characters are freaking fantastic, the development is everything and what’s best is that this story is far from over. She’s planning on turning it into a series and I cannot wait to see how the story develops. Also, the author has a schedule so there’s a new chapter every week which is something that I appreciate a lot, especially when starting to read a work in progress (it’s almost finished, next week she’ll upload the epilogue and it’ll be complete). GO READ IT AND COME SCREAM AND CRY ABOUT IT WITH ME.

12) 흰 여름 (’White Summer’) (*)

“Diversity,” Namjoon had said when he had explained the concept to them, “Learning to love yourself, no matter what.” “We already did that,” Yoongi had pointed out, “Literally the same title.” But Namjoon, when he looked at him, had seemed strangely bright and somber at the same time. “Not like this,” he had said.

Or, Jimin and Yoongi have to kiss for an MV. And deal with the fallout.

BTS universe. F**k, this is good! I don’t know what to say but that as you may know I really like fics that are kinda canon compliant and this one is SO GOOD. The group is working on a new album and it’s kinda like love myself but riskier in the sense that it is a controversial topic in south korea. I just love it when people also write about the korean music industry (even if it may not be 100% accurate, but let’s be honest, only the people working in it knows what’s up really) because I find it so interesting and not many people talk about it in depth. Of course, I can’t finish without saying that I really enjoyed the development of Jimin and Yoongi’s relationship, how Yoongi wasn’t aware of Jimin’s sexual orientation. A good fic right here!

~Too Much to Admit (Taehyung centric, OT7 Relationship)

The first time it happens, Taehyung doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t know how.

To start, I would like to say that this fic deals with a very serious and triggering topic for some so if you are not in a good mental place or you could be triggered by it please do not read it. This fic doesn’t have any pairings and it’s a BTS universe fic. It’s complete and I really enjoyed the different ways in which each member deals with what’s happening. In my opinion, the author did an excellent job at portraying each character and the way in which they would behave in such a difficult situation. I’m especially really liking her take on Jungkook because you can clearly see that he’s the youngest one, his confusion and anger clearly shows how much he cares about the well-being of all his hyungs. I don’t know, it’s such a heavy fic, but I really liked it.

Dadvid Appreciation Week: Themes List

That’s right! All the themes for the week have been planned out! A month in advance, but hey, gives you all plenty of time to prepare!

Day One (October 22nd): The Moment Where David Became Dadvid. Today’s Content will be based on the moment where David adopts Max or David makes the decision to become his official guardian. Or maybe he’s kind of forced into the choice as a result of Max’s parents not coming to pick him up at the end of summer, or they do show up and are awful and now David has a kid. It’s an idea that’s been around since the very beginnings of the Dadvid AU, but it’s still a fun one to explore!

Day Two (October 23rd): Lights, Camera, Family! You like the Coraline AU? The Holes AU? The Goofy Movie AU (look, the movie’s actually really good and sweet and full of nice father/son moments, don’t judge!)? That one ‘thanks dad’ scene from B99 with Holt and Jake but instead it has David and Max? Any other AUs based off movies or TV shows? Today’s the day to draw some Dadvid stuff for that! Any movies or tv shows AUs are welcomed today!

Day Three (October 24th): Don’t Forget MomGwen! A day all about MomGwen AND Dadvid together, because Gwen needs love for being a nice parental figure to Max too, especially after the s2 finale! It doesn’t have to be shippy (platonic parental figures are great!), and you can include anyone else as a parental figure if you’d like (Yes, even the shitstain Kool-Aid man himself) but keep the main focus on Gwen and David. Also tag any ships accordingly!

Day Four (October 25th): Teenage Dadvid. Hell, since this little AU has gotten so popular lately, why not make a theme day centered around it? Today will be a day to give attention to a teenaged, suddenly-a-parent, probably-has-little-to-no-idea-what-he’s-doing-but-will-still-try-his-damnedest-to-give-his-kid-a-good-life David. Can be cute or angsty, whatever you prefer! Also David can be any age, just so long as he’s a teen and Max is a sweet baby boy. Just to remind everyone and help figure out differences in ages for this day, David is 24 and Max is 10.

Day Five (October 26th): Parenting Isn’t Always Easy OR Family Holidays. That’s right! Two themes today! The first one is dedicated to angst. Family life isn’t always perfect, and an adopted family is no different. Whether it’s Max saying that David isn’t his real dad, David feeling like he’s a complete failure as a parent, David having to give Max up or give him back to his birth parents for some reason, or even Max having nightmares about David not caring about him and being terrified of ending up back where he started with no one caring about him, have some fun with that today! Let’s make this really hurt! You twisted people (says pot to kettle).

OR 

If angst isn’t your cup of tea and you’d still like to participate for the day, then there’s the option to make content centered around Max and David celebrating holidays together as a family. You can pick any holiday you want! Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, Father’s Day (it counts!). You can even choose some non-American-centered holidays since according to canon, Max’s family tree originates from outside the country (India, to be specific) and he still might celebrate the holidays his birth parents celebrated despite living with David (so long as you do proper research on the topic and be respectful).

And if you want to do something for BOTH themes, then go right ahead!

Day Six (October 27th): The More the Merrier! Today’s a day for Dadvid but Dadvid with not just Max! Make some content that involves David being a dad to one of the other campers along with Max. Any camper you want! Think Harrison should have a parent who isn’t afraid of him? Now he does! Want Dolph to have a parent who won’t condone his uncomfortable behavior and teach him right from wrong? Congrats, kid, you have a new dad. Because others deserve to have a dad as cool as David, too! Also now Max has siblings! Fun fun! Day Seven (October 28th): Whatever You Want Day! Let’s wrap up the week with free day to draw or create any content you want for Dadvid Week, no themes attached! Just have some fun and make some nice content! Was there an AU that didn’t get a theme day? Make some content for that! Go wild!

Yeah, I don’t mean to generalize about all fan content. The friends I have who ship it are shipping it /because/ they enjoy those aspects and are 1000% keeping that in consideration when they talk/post about it. And lbr during the times I’ve posted pro-rbron stuff it’s not like I was throwing in a tag like ‘but just as a reminder they’re also toxic!’when reblogging a shippy gifset lmao.

I’ve just recently reached my breaking point where seeing them put in a context where they’re compatible or loving or stable makes me annoyed bc they’re very much Not at that place right now and I personally don’t enjoy thinking of them that way until a lot of things get fixed. It’s not that I think it’s wrong to enjoy that, and ppl should! I just can’t right now. The reason the 2016 reunion worked so well for me was I spent over a year leading up to it feeling they were toxic and incompatible, so hopefully if this reunion is done the right way I’ll be able to experience that same incredible high of my feelings going from 0-100 again.

Also as for the soulmates thing, I think I’ve been going on about this for at least a year but I don’t tend to believe in soulmates overall and I especially don’t see rbron as ~destined~ for each other. I think they’re very much an example of pursuing each other due to their circumstances and feelings despite not being the ideal emotional match for each other. So I personally get negative benefit from seeing them portrayed as, like, divinely matched.

What fandoms do you currently write for?

As of 2017, I only write for the Voltron: Legendary Defender fandom.

What pairings do you write for in the VLD fandom?

I am a multi-shipper and pro-Shaladin (all characters are written as 18+ in my content). Primarily I write for Shance (Shiro/Lance).

What type of content do you typically write?

My content is generally pretty tame. I enjoy writing short, fluffy one-shots the most, though I have written chap fics and explored darker themes as well. I generally do not write a lot of NSFW, though on the occasions I do I will always label it as such.

Do you use content warnings?

Yes. I try to tag anything I think may be potentially triggering or squicky.

What’s your crosstagging policy?

I DO NOT crosstag -- meaning my fics featuring a ship(s) are not tagged with individual character names or gen tags, only the ship name. I do this out of respect for people who do not want to see shippy material when browsing a character’s tag or general fandom tag.

HOWEVER, due to tumblr’s shitty search function I cannot guarantee you won’t run across my material in certain tags. Search picks up words within a post in addition to the tags. 

Do you take fic requests?

SHIPPING ~ First off, while I’m willing to roleplay with anyone, who I ship with is exclusive, mainly because it relies on a lot of factors. ~ Factor one: Mick is asexual, demiromantic, and bi. He rarely has sexual or romantic attraction, and he can fall for men or women. He doesn’t really have a preference between the two. ~ Factor two: Mick is an emotionally withdrawn man in general, and he isn’t going to just be romantically involved with everyone. Shipping with him will most likely be similar to how shipping with my Cain (SPN) muse - who he falls for will be few and far in between. Cain has only ever had two love interests over there; his canon love interest Colette, and an angel OC. It is similar for Mick; falling in love for him is rare due to his closing himself off, and who he trusts enough to love is even smaller of a number. ~ Factor three: I find it difficult to ship with just anyone. I’m pretty awful at writing romance in general, so having a partner I click with makes it much easier. People have probably noticed I primarily write shippy things with @bethewhitecanary; this is because she and I have been roleplaying for about a year and talking every day. Basically, the better I know you, the more likely it is for a ship to work. ~ Factor four: Mick controls his own wants, don’t get me wrong. But obviously, what I ship also is affected just slightly by what ships I ship. You’ll mostly see Mick/Leonard (Coldwave) ships here because canonically, Leonard is the only person Mick is close to.There’s a lot of Mick/Sara on my blog too, as that’s another ship I ship. This doesn’t mean I’ll only ever ship Len and Sara with Mick, it just means that those are the muses Mick will gravitate toward most. 

NSFW/CONTENT ~ I don't do much NSFW smut things. If you really want to do it, I am willing to try my hand at it in a private setting, such as emails or Skype. But I'm not confident in writing it nor am I comfortable posting it in a public forum so if we do anything like that, I ask that you agree to move it to a private means of communication. ~ I refuse to roleplay very few things; but I won't roleplay bestiality, nor will I roleplay noncon threads in a positive light. If I do anything such as that or paedophilia, it has to be done tastefully, with allusions to how it is a toxic relationship and not a good thing. Basically: I can roleplay toxic abusive relationships or underage relationships or even incestuous relationships; but one, I won't do smut in those relationships, and two, they need to be portrayed as negative. Obviously. ~ Anything else goes, however. I am a dark person in general, and I’ll roleplay pretty intense stuff. ACTIVITY ~ I have a very stressful job, I usually am in college, and I’m currently trapped in an abusive living situation. This, and I have a few mental disorders (depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder). So sorry about the delay in finishing this letter! And a huge thank you for writing or creating art for me.

General Pointers

I would be thrilled to receive either fic or art for any of these requests! I’ve tried to leave prompts for both, though sometimes my imagination failed me where art was concerned.

For Fic, any rating from General to Explicit is fine, for either sexual or violent content.

For Art, I would prefer suggestive rather than explicit, i.e. some nudity without a focus on genitalia, blood without heavy gore/wounds.

I know very little of the extended canon, either the current Disney version or the old EU. If you’re inspired by something from it, feel free to use those characters and/or ideas; but you should also feel free to completely ignore all of it and work solely from what’s shown onscreen. I will be happy either way!

Please note that I’m desperately trying to remain unspoiled for Episode 8, so if you draw on any plot leaks, don’t mention them as such--just leave me in my happy bubble of ignorance.

I enjoy reading everything: gen adventure stories, sweet shippy fluff, and PWP as long as it doesn’t seem like any 2 or 3 generic characters having sex.

DNW: Heavy noncon/rape as a major plot point (backstory is fine) or a totally tragic ending (I'm perfectly happy with bittersweet). I enjoy canon-divergent AUs (such as partisan!Cassian or Imperial!Jyn) but am not particularly into modern ones. Fandom content notes: There are some scenes of war and violence in flashback. There is a flashback where two characters are drugged and shanghaied. At least one horse is injured/possibly killed. Anne/Bert: I love Anne and Bert so much. Their whole relationship gives me great joy and Anne is definitely my favorite character. Anything you want to make for these two would be incredible. I’m especially interested in the early days of their relationship, how they fell in love and decided not to fight their feelings. Obviously if you go that route there was a lot of racism they had to deal with, but I would prefer it not be a focus. I’d also be happy to see something set during their marriage.

Dorothy/Mrs. Hall: I would love to hear about their relationship while they were in the Wrens together. Did they meet in the Wrens or did they know each other beforehand? Anything set in canon or later would be lovely as well. When did they realize their feelings? Who fell first?

I am obsessed with the idea of Siegfried being their beard. Maybe he’s actually happy to not find someone else, so he marries Dorothy. Then Dorothy and Mrs. Hall live like the happy couple they are. To outsiders Dorothy and Siegfried are happily married and Mrs. Hall is the housekeeper. But everyone living in Skeldale House knows that Dorothy and Mrs. Hall are in love.

Dorothy/Mrs. Hall/Siegfried: Not exactly a prompt, but if it’s helpful my ideal dynamic for this ship is the Lesbian-Centric Semi-Nonsexual Trouple. I see them as being a healthy triad where each pair connects in a different way and they just enjoy being around each other. I’d love to see how they get together or some established relationship.

I quite like the idea of Mrs. Hall and Dorothy both feeling caught between their growing feelings for Siegfried and their long-running feelings for each other. Meanwhile Siegfried is realizing that he has feelings for both of them and in the end no one has to choose.

Helen/James: I just want to see these two be a couple without having to deal with the fallout of Helen leaving Hugh at the alter. Maybe Helen breaks up with Hugh sooner and she and James share their first kiss at Anne and Bert’s over the puppies. Or they go on a date sometime after the Christmas special. Something that takes place after they’re married would be lovely as well. Although anything going into Helen’s thoughts as she finds herself falling for James would also be fun.

James/Tristan: I saw the clip where they’re hiding from Siegfried and laughing and my first thought was “They’re going to fall in love aren’t they?” I just really love their best friends dynamic and the way they encourage each other into trouble. But I also love how they support each other. I see the romantic part of their relationship as having a lot of snuggles and kisses. For a prompt it could be fun to see them ending up having to share a bed for some reason.

Maggie/Tristan: I don’t have a specific prompt but I really like the idea of their relationship helping them both to grow as people. I’d love to see more of Tristan interacting with David and Maggie falling for how good her boyfriend is with her little brother. Something where they’ve been together for a while and are finally ready to say “I love you” could be very sweet.

According to episode summaries on The Muppet wiki, Bob writes songs for Linda and she teaches him American Sign Language. I would love to see either or both of those things.

Maria/Linda: When Linda first arrives on Sesame Street, Maria is the person who’s the most fluent in ASL and that leads to her and Linda becoming friends quickly. Linda learning some Spanish sign language so she and Maria can both speak Spanish.

Harriet/Mr. Hooper: Based on reading the Muppet wiki, I got the feeling that David’s Grandma Harriet and Mr. Hooper are quietly dating and I would love to see more of that. In season 11 Mr. Hooper, Mr. Macintosh, and Willy took Harriet to a dance. How did that go? Did they start dating after that?

Mr. Macintosh/Willy: My headcanon is that they’re basically the street’s gay uncles. They’re been together for basically forever and everyone adores them. They’re also Mr. Hooper’s best friends. I’d love to see how they got together when they were younger.

Susan/Gordon: I would dearly love some fic about how they met and fell in love. Or a fic about how they decided that they were ready to be parents and that they wanted to adopt. Maybe something with them geeking out together over science.

Maria/David/Luis: The only logical solution to the Maria/David, Maria/Luis relationships. I actually shipped David/Luis before I shipped Maria/David, so I definitely view this as a full triad.

How do they get together? Are two of them together first and then the third joins them? Or do they become a triad all at once? What do their dates as a triad look like? Do the three of them ever go dancing?

How do they decide to get married? To become parents? Does it matter which of Maria’s husbands is Gabi’s biological father or do they only know for medical history reasons?

Maria/Luis or Maria/David: I don’t have anything specific for these, but I thought I would ask for them anyway.

Susan/Gordon/Bob: Did they know each other before Sesame Street or did they meet there? When did they get together? One thing I really like is the idea of them having gone to college together and getting up to hijinks. I would love to see some of that. How involved is Bob in parenting Miles?

Bob/David/Linda/Luis/Maria/Olivia: The ship of my heart. My personal perspective is that every part of this relationship is romantic except for Bob and Maria. Bob and Maria adore each other but their relationship with each other is platonic.

Do they ever manage to all share a bed comfortably or are there too many of them and someone ends up on the floor? The six of them go out on date and are mistaken for being three couples so they try to see how obvious they can make it that it’s all six of them. Is it ever hard to parent Gabi when there are six parents?

I also read a fic once where Becky and TJ were allowed to invite their friends on a Botsford family trip to a cabin on a lake. Scoops and Violet couldn’t go in the fic, but I keep wondering what it would be like if they did and Becky was there with her mutual crushes and TJ was there with his.
