next big bracket polls thing got dropped and listen. i’m not a sports person but i was raised by Intense Sports Persons and i just. that’s not how you make brackets. people of tumblr who desire to run a bracket poll please please please learn how to make brackets.

#shhh sharkie #YOU DONT JUST RUN EVERYONE THROUGH A RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOE #THATS LITERALLY THE WORST WAY TO MAKE A BRACKET #YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER STATS #YOUR INITIAL PAIRINGS SHOULD HAVE SIMILAR STATS AND POPULARITY #IF YOU PIT THE SCHOOL THATS ENTIRE MISSION IS TO PUMP OUT ATHLETES FOR COLLEGE SPORTS #AGAINST THE ARTS SCHOOL THAT JUST SO HAPPENS TO HAVE A SOFTBALL TEAM #THEN EITHER THE ALLSTARS WILL WIPE OUT A TEAM IN THE FIRST ROUND THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE DECENT BUT NOW WE’LL NEVER KNOW #OR THE UNDERDOGS ARE GOING TO SNEAK IN AND DISRUPT ALL YOUR RESULTS FOR THE REST OF THE BRACKET #and y’all aren’t even doing pitting loses against each other to see who could bring it back smh #literally don’t make a bracket for ‘Ultimate Tumblr XYZ!’#and then pin a Jojo character against a character from an indie animated show #you put the characters/players/teams that are very equal playing grounds against each other in the first round so it’s an actual competition #so it genuinely gets more and more about skill and popularity as time goes on #and you’re not pitting a fucking like. webcomic character against a major marvel superhero #the more well-known character is already going to get more votes cause of optics alone #it doesn’t matter if they’re genuinely a XYZ icon yknow?
