Thank you to friends who reached out yesterday - that was a doozy. I think it's going better than expected though

It still hurts and it still sucks, but I am handling the rest of my day okay today.

The last time one of the goats died, I felt like I had been hit by a dump truck for over a week. I could barely move, I was depressed beyond words, and I felt like life was over. Last night was hard, but manageable. I wasn't sure how today would go.

Thanks to my new meds, I got to this morning, I saw my chiropractor, helped my friend clean her apartment, and sang loudly with Great Big Sea in my car on the way home. (And then finished up my most recent series watch with @aboxfullofdarkness !)

It's been kind of nice to be able to experience a range of emotions without spiraling into the center of the earth.

It's a tiny bit of progress. 💖
