someone i used to be close with said, when they were watching spiderman across the spiderverse, miles reminded them me?? they said, miles' reactions were like mine??? im like miles????? AAAAAA that made me so happy?????????????????

i LOVE Miles!! and i can relate to the first movie (like if i have to describe myself i would say into the spiderverse) and now they say i react things like how Miles do,, and then i noticed some aspects of him that i relate to again in this movie too

The Problem With Kinning

GN!MC (They/Them, 3rd ppov)

"Psst, Satan, heeeyyyy Sataaannnn-"

Satan sucked in his cheeks, finding it nearly impossible to ignore his older brother as Levi continued to jab him in the side. "What do you want Leviathan?"

"Is MC still staring at me?" Satan glances up to the second floor of the library, catching MC repositioning their fake mustache before turning back to the book they were 'reading' upside down.

"Yes, they are, now leave me out of your lovers' quarrel."

"We're not dating!"

"Regardless, leave me out of it."

"I don't know what I did wrong! They've been following around for 3 days but won't talk to me or respond to my text messages, what do you think it means?"

"I think it means-" Satan slams his book shut and grabs the ones on the table next to him before getting up, "that MC is planning to kill you. Do you want hydrangeas or wisteria at your funeral?"

"That's not funny!" Levi hissed and tried to hit Satan with a throw pillow, but misses entirely. He watches Satan leave before turning back to MC and their falling mustache, "WOULD YOU KNOCK IT OFF?"

"WHAT WHAT WHATT!!!!" Levi turned around and yelled down the 'empty' corridor. "What do you want? This stalker behavior got old really fast MC." When no one responds, he groans loudly and storms over the the flower pot by the top of the staircase with half a mind to shove it over.

"I know you're hiding behind the giant flower vase MC-"

"I'm actually up here." Levi lets out a scream as MC swings down from the ceiling, having held themselves up in a corner like the Grinch.

"How did- never mind. Why have you been stalking me!?" MC hesitates, a clear look of distress kn their face as they scan the hallways for the other brothers. After making sure they were alone, MC grabs Levi's arm and hauls him back into his room, making sure to lock the door behind them.

"I... There's.... Levi, you know I like and respect yoy, right?" MC had that tone when they had to break some bad news to him, but Levi had no idea where they were going with this.

"Sure, you like me. Why?"

"Ok, keep that in mind; well, do you remember when you explained what kinning was to me?" Now he REALLY didn't know where this conversation was going.

"... sure, you asked me like 2 weeks ago."

"Remember how you said that kinning real people is super taboo? Well, your videogames can bring your anime chacters into this world and you into their's- so, technically... aren't they real people?" MC holds their hands out, as if expecting the answer to fall into their hands but Levi was still trying to process their question.

"It's not the same because- they're, well they're fictional characters MC, of course it's not the same." Levi said as a matter of fact, but MC was unconvinced.

" But your games make it possible for them to be real! They can be here in person, breathing, touch-a-ble," MC emphasizes their point by poking Levi but he swats their hand away.

" It's not the same because they were originally drawn and the games only bring them to life for a little bit of time-"

"But they are alive! Just like when you bought the maze game, these videogames can rewrite reality! So- Leviathan, have you been kinning real people?"

"No! It's- That's! We'll ask Satan!"

-4 hours later-

Lucifer grumbles as he walks down the corridors of the House of Lamentation, looking for his brothers and MC. Only Belphie and Beel had shown up to dinner and no one else had responded to his messages. It was one thing for his brothers to disapear, and even MC and one of his brothers, but not all together like that.

He checks on Mammon, Asmo and MC's rooms, no sign of life to be seen. He finally reaches the top of the stairs and hears low talking through Levi's door. Without bothering to knock, he opens the door into a very serious meeting with Asmo, Mammon, Levi, Satan and MC.

And a giant whiteboard behind them filled with notes and 4 large questions in each corner:

"What qualifies as living?"

"Do fictional character brought to life by videogames count as real people?"

"Dies Kinning only count if you've never been pulled into your characters game/world"

"What is kinning even? Like, spiritually?"
