This Guy. I have never seen anyone train SO HARD for something. I had 6 months of watching him for hours and hours (and hours) on the indoor bike, not stopping for one second. Even when he had no gels at his reach or his bottle fell off. I saw him get up at 4:30 AM most mornings and add a run after his swim or his bike workouts. Every Day. EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's been very inspiring to watch. His coach knows exactly what he did, on numbers, but I watched him, on real life. I saw the sweat, I saw the determination (and the doubt some days), I saw the exhaustion (and how he would still be a great husband, go grocery shopping, help me with stuff, or go out with me), when he was so tired he would make no sense; he would pick himself up and keep moving, every day. Life still happened as usual. Such an inspiring thing to witness firsthand. Race week is here.
