Christmas at the Ludley household was a joyous affair. Walter had bought the family a tree, that him and Minnie decorated while the children were asleep. Clara and Irene was just about old enough to enjoy the holiday, and it even seemed to lighten up Minnie, who had been so terribly stressed lately.

Minnie gives birth to their second child. A healthy girl, who they name Irene Beatrix Ludley. Although happy to welcome a healthy baby, the couple can`t help but feel a twinge of disappointment for another daughter...
