The problem with pizza making up 70% of my diet since I could eat solid food is that I have had hundreds of different pizzas. I have had frozen pizza brands that don't exist anymore. I've had every chain pizza joint in the Midwest. I've had homemade pizza from a dozen different homes. I've had the slight variations of pizza from so many different school/work/whatever cafeterias. I've had limited run pizza from restaurants that don't typically serve pizza. I've had good pizza, shitty pizza, and everything in between. I've had macaroni pizza and pizza with bell peppers on it (I liked the macaroni one better). I've had so many different recipes/brands of pizza.

And sometimes I crave shitty pizza #413 from the summer of 2006 that I'll never hope to remember what the fuck it was.

It’s the way Cyno is so serious as he dresses your wounds, a stark contrast to the genlteness of his touch. It doesn’t matter if it’s a paper cut, a rash, burn or a gash from battle, it’ll receive the same level of attention and care from the general. If he had it his way he’d get Tighnari to fix you right up, because at least Cyno knows you’re in good hands, but that can’t always happen, so he’s your next best. In a way that’s alright, at least this way he can personally see to it that you’re looked after.

Dainsleif

It’s the way Dainsleif never forgets the little details about yourself. You could mention it once and he’s already committed it to memory, he's committed you to his memory. For 500 years he's walked alone, maybe not always physically, but it still felt like there hasn't been anyone with him. You are the first connection he's had in so long, and even if he's doomed to live long past you, the image of everything that creates you, he’ll will himself to remember for as long as he can, because just the thought of you makes him feel like he's alive once more.

“You told me once that the stars brought you peace. I thought it’d be nice to look out at them tonight, for they too do the same for me. However, if I was to be truthful, you, without a shadow of a doubt, bring me the most peace.”

Heizou

It’s the way Heizou leaves a riddle on the kitchen counter for you every so often before he leaves for work or errands. There’ll be clues scattered around the house for you to find as well, each one becoming more cryptic than the last. Of course, he knows you well enough to not make them so tough you can’t figure it out. He wants you to receive your prize after all~

“Did you figure out today’s riddle?” … “Heh, that’s correct, I knew you’d get it! Now, come and claim your reward. I think you’ll really enjoy it this time~”

Itto

It’s the way Itto runs up to you the instant he sees you in the streets of Inazuma, arms ready to grab hold and lift you as high as he can or as high as you allow. He'll even do a little spin with you he's that happy to see you. It doesn't matter if you’re alone or with someone, he is a loud and proud oni who shows off the person that owns his heart!!

It’s the way Kaveh readily helps you with your outfit and any bells and whistles that go with it. Xiao

It’s the way Xiao carries with him the little gifts you give. May it be a flower, a picture, a letter or another object of some kind, the yaksha will have it tucked into the safest pocket he has. To you it may have just been something you picked up or made while thinking of him, but for Xiao, it’s his good fortune charm. Something that has a tangible weight to it, his constant reminder that someone is waiting for him back home. However, he can never bring himself to tell you this, covering up the why he brings it everywhere with some barely strung together excuses or redirections.

In honour of Prompto Argetum’s birthday have a few fun head canons of the boy (promptis. Don’t like don’t read. You know the drill.):

He’s VERY fond of strawberry Mochi

When Noctis takes the vegetables out of his food, Prompto will start moving them onto his own plate. Food is good and Prompto will eat whatever’s going.

He’s naturally cuddly, and gravitates towards heat sources in his sleep. Noctis would not mind this if it were not for the fact that Prompto has the core temperature of a polar ice cap.

Prompto’s entire speech pattern is comprised of movie quotes and song lyrics (I feel like that one’s just cannon at this point.)

He gets really sweet when he’s sleepy. Rubs his eyes, puts his head on peoples shoulders. There’s always a point at which someone will teasingly say “are you tired Prompto?” And all they will get is a sleepy nod before Prompto curls into whoever’s shoulder he’s decided to commandeer as a pillow.

The hair style was an accidental choice. He did it for a party; Noctis said he liked it; now it stays.

He’s a big fan of hair playing and scalp scritches. 10/10 will do tricks for scritches.

He’s got a favourite camp chair. He’s convinced it’s magical, because apparently whenever he sits in it campfire smoke never follows him. It’s not Gladio just can’t be arsed hearing him whine all night about the smoke so he places Prompto’s chair against the wind.

Prompto kissed Noct first. It was spur of the moment and he’s pretty sure he blacked out from panic during it but Noctis just looked so pretty, and UGHHHH.

Their first date was low key a disaster, because Prompto tried to be smooth and ended up just being clumsily tripping head first in the castle fountain. BUT, Noctis laughed and kissed him again so he will sheepishly classify it as a win!

“Ever at your side” is Prompto’s “as you wish” it’s his I love you when I love you doesn’t feel like it’s enough.

There are too many pictures of Noct of Proms camera honestly. As the soft glow of the computer screen illuminated the dark room, Kanade's fingers danced effortlessly across the keyboard. The rhythmic sound of keys being pressed filled the otherwise quiet space as she busily typed away, completely engrossed in her work. With each stroke, words and ideas flowed from her mind to the screen, the cursor blinking expectantly as she continued to pour her thoughts into the digital realm. Lost in the world of technology, she was completely in her element, a modern-day wordsmith creating magic with every keystroke.

Kanade’s eyes flitted up briefly towards the clock before returning to their steady pace. She didn’t need an alarm or a clock to tell her that time was passing at a snail's pace. Every moment spent lost in her own little world felt like one long second. This type of productivity was all too rare for her to enjoy it without feeling guilty about it. It wasn't a bad thing. She knew deep down. She needed this time to relax and think of all the wonderful things that were about to happen in the coming days. The excitement of new projects she could get started on was the best antidote.

Maybe I should take a break," Kanade said quietly to herself, pushing away from the desk to stretch. "I should eat, then take a quick nap."

She pushed her chair back from the computer with one foot, stretching out her arms above her head and letting her muscles crack. A satisfying moan escaped her lips, and she tilted her head back slightly, closing her eyes in contentment. She was tired, but not so tired that she couldn't continue working. Her body was still wired to move around, after all. It just took longer than normal.

Her stomach growled softly. It was loud enough for Kanade to hear it echo across the bedroom.

Groaning, she rubbed her hand over her belly, willing it to stop growling.

"I haven't had anything to eat since yesterday morning."That thought made her frown.

Yesterday morning.

Right.

She was so focused on composing ideas last night. She had forgotten to eat something other than a protein bar before she began her project, which was probably why she hadn't gotten any sleep. Kanade closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose with one finger, releasing a sigh. Maybe Ms. Mochizuki left her something to eat when she stopped by,but she couldn't be bothered to check. Too busy. There were too many thoughts whirling through her head. The words were like a swarm of insects, trying to reach her brain at once. But it wasn't hard to find the perfect word or the right way to phrase a sentence. Even if the words got caught in the static, that was her brain.

"Raman... Raman..." Kanade hummed quietly under her breath as she looked through her kitchen cabinets for the packs of instant noodles she usually kept there. She pulled one out, placing it carefully atop the counter next to her phone. She poured water into a cup and turned on the burner, opening up her microwave to let it heat while her phone rang.

That surprised her greatly. She hadn't expected anyone else to be contacting her at this time of day. Most people are either at school or working. A notification popped up on the screen, and Kanade picked up the device, pressing the home button and bringing up her messages. She skimmed quickly over the list of notifications waiting for her.

Her bangs are tucked to both sides, save for a long section in the middle that almost reaches down to her nose, and her face is framed by a fairly long strand of hair on either side. Her voice is soft and calm, and she is generally inexpressive.

Casual Outfit: In her second year, her casual outfit consists of a dark blue track jacket with white stripes, worn partially unzipped. She wears a black shirt underneath and has shor, lighter blue shorts.In her third year, she simply completely unzips the track jacket, revealing a purple shirt.

Unit Outfit: Her unit outfit is a long, puffy jacket with a gradient that starts at white and fades to an ashy dark grey. The hood is tiedint the middle with a black and red ribbon. In Kanade's 3D model, the sleeves are long enough to completely cover her hands. In the official image for her unit outfit, she holds a bulky black-and-pink wireless headset.

Personality: Though antisocial, Kanade is extremely kind and caring to those close to her. She often puts the needs of others before herself, overworking herself for the sake of her music. 10) Lenore being a whole whiny bitch while Hector is forging in Styria. Shut up, you 12 year old in a grown woman's body.

9) Carmilla revealing her twagic backstory which has little to no weight and still fails to actually give her a vulnerable side, because she's still shown as a #girlboss taking her old master out, and not as an actual victim of a crazy man. Shout out to Morana who tells us that Carmilla still has nightmares when we never see it!

8) Carmilla making fun of Lisa in front of Dracula and his entire court, and not being turned into a little smear on the floor the very instant she opened her #girlboss mouth. She even says "oh I wanted to give you the chance to address the question in public" and Dracula is like "lmao, fair", while he chewed Godbrand for much less.

7) "I take things from stupid old men because I deserve them" and every dumb Carmilla radfem rant that supposedly give her more depth but only make her more annoying and cliché.

6) ... but one radfem rant deserves the spotlight:

"Because I am surrounded by children and animals and dying old men. There are perhaps four other women in this castle and they all glare from the edges, either disempowered by posturing man-children or too paralysed by sheer fucking rage to do anything."

This literally never happened. The only two other women we see are Raman and Cho, and they're basically there to pretend there's some diversity in Dracula's court. Show, don't tell.

5) dick jokes. Yep, this is very natural character development after deceiving and enslaving someone. Lenore sure is a charming manipulative diplomat, isn't she.

4) Carmilla's pointless dragged on beatdown of Hector, to the point that other characters even call her out on it... by reading the script because no way they'd know what happened, am I right Morana you utter waste of a good character design?

3) "He was inside of me at the time"/"Turns out he's fairly good at sex and I want to train him"/"Shh, the real people are talking". I literally would love to ask a Lenector shipper how they can justify this whole scene.

2) "oh, shush, you were having fun". How do you spell "it's not rape if they enjoyed it"?

Lenector sex scene. I did not want to see Lenore's boobs. I did not want to see Hector eating her out. I did not want to hear Theo James moaning with all the passion of a waiter reciting the menu. And most importantly I did not want to see this moment used as jerk off bait in Hector-dedicated accounts. But aside from the sheer NOPE factor, it's just bleh writing, Hector falling for a pretty vampire lady again, Lenore being so blatant with her lies ("I'm loyal to my sisters, but I want to run away with you"), and just how pointless the whole scene ended up being.

I won’t be too obnoxious with too many of those end of the year asks, so: 8, 9, and 10.

first things first, I wasn't familiar with how tumblr formats lists, so you said this and then I was like 'oh dang, I gotta go to my tumblr to check the list of what the questions were,' and learned that my tumblr, or maybe all tumblrs, are cursed, somehow because the theme presents a numbered list like:

So I'm sitting there counting each one one by one then going: Why would Lilly do this to me then wait of course no Lilly wouldn't do this to me so I went back to my dash to find it and oh there it is, and anyway.

8: So probably the game I played the most this year was Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition, which takes a game I already liked and made it better. Particularly cool thing there is that the game it's running under the hood is twenty years old so loading times that used to be 'go get a drink and wait for the CD ROM drive to stop humming' are now basically instant.

Which makes it easier to cheese.

9: I recently did my year in review diary and found that for two months all the notes I had on what happened in the month summarised as :( so that's not great. BUT I think for me it's May. I went to a convention, I got to take photos of the mural of our anti-cop feral pig, and found a new Asian Grocery that meant I could get the flour necessary to home-make karaage and buy regular snacks of different flavour types of mochi, including mango, banana, and ramane flavour. We got a sofa, too, and that means now I have a seat next to me where Elli, the dog, can sit and just flop against my leg.

Wellbutrin and cumulative exams

I don't know if this counts as a relapse. I decided to take 2 cumulative exams today. One on the kinetics of small ionizable molecules permeating across a membrane given a pH gradient, and the other was about using resonance Raman spectroscopy to model electronic decoherence in organic molecules.

Didn't prepare for either of them.

So, I decided to take twice my normal noon dose of IR Wellbutrin about an hour before the exam. In high school, I'd take 500mg all the way to 1g of Wellbutrin just for shits and giggles, but that was the extended release format. Now, I only take 100mg of instant release Wellbutrin twice a day. I figured I'd have a bit more energy, but I forgot how massively overstimulating, manic, and cold Wellbutrin can be.

Truly the world's shittiest stimulant.

However, I got through the exams, and I think I crushed it. The comedown was NOT worth it though. 200mg is truly still a baby dose, but my heart rate was above 150 for like 3 hours, in part due to exam anxiety, but that's still high.

I don't consider it a relapse per se because I didn't get high, as in feeling euphoric. Wellbutrin is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor and norepinephrine releasing agent. The dopamine reuptake is what allows it to be an antidepressant, but norepinephrine is what gives it the edge. However, norepinephrine gives a shitty body feel because it's basically just adrenaline, so it massively spikes anxiety.

But, at least I probably did well on my exams :D
