You didn't stand out all that much on your own- But something about you drew them in, calling to them like a lamb for the slab. They didn't understand these feelings, torn by their devotion to their god and this newfound pull to you.

Its only during one fateful morning, when they were helping pass out food to the morning attendees and they heard a laugh, turning to see your face lit up at a joke one of the others had told, that they came to a consensus about it. A horrifying consensus, in their eyes.

You were higher than their god, at least in their eyes. Going against everything they preached- you entranced them in a way that surpassed divinity. They didn't want you to bring them to heaven- they didn't want anything from you, except to experience you, in all of your sublimity.
