A wide smile spread across her lips at the others words and then she clapped her hands together as if to gather herself, her smile softening up so only the corners o her lips were tugged upwards. It was ridiculous really how joyful, maybe even a hint of pride she got when someone took interest in f(x) and told it to her face. The only bad thing about the question being that she couldn’t give a positive answer to the other. “Not our company but the one we’re with in Japan, though I think I do have some copies at home.”

Dear Sana,

Sana unnie! I think it is sort of amazing how we get to be friends when there’s so many other people around. I must thank shows and pd-nims for putting our groups together almost every time.

When did we exactly met though? I have no recollection of it, to be honest. But I feel like the recent weekly idol episodes brought us closer to each other. The fact that you answered ‘sha sha sha’ to everything was kind of adorable. I lowkey giggled a little. Seriously though, I hope we have more chances to hang out with each other more, be it on cam or off cam. I’d prefer off cam.. so then I can steal some of your scented candles. ( i won’t though )

Talking about scented candles- We should probably go out and shop for some scented candles together when our schedules allows us to. I promise I will not hold them hostage cause I am a nice dongsaeng. I also wish to get to know you a little more through our little outing. ( if it even happens.. ) Lastly, please talk more. Chat with me more! I’ll be so happy if you talk a lot with me. And before I end this letter, I wish you’d be healthy and happy. That’s the most important of them all.

    「 ♉ 」how many hours had they been in the practice room? dayoung had since lost track after the fourth hour, the same hour she had downed her fifth bottle of water and had to change her shirt because she could no longer handle the soaked material against her skin. when the two first started making exchanges with one another, it was out of peer interest and then it soon became a reality when they started to make plans to meet up. they weren’t alone, there were several other people from different groups or just trainees with them along with some choreographers. they wanted to put on a different kind of performance. for what? that really hadn’t been discussed and everything was still just in the baby steps process but in order to get anywhere they had to start somewhere. so after gathering a group they made a date and came into the studio together. they had some ideas of what they wanted the concept to be, but nothing was really working out and they had to work out big kinks followed by the smaller ones. the more that hand on the clock ticked, the more the idea started to become a reality, however it was so far from being completed as they weren’t even to the half way mark yet. 

after everyone decided to take a break, to see if they should call it a wrap for the day, dayoung had found herself in a corner of the room, back pressed against the wall as she slid down to the floor, hands unscrewing the cap off of her water bottle as quickly as her sweaty hands allowed her. she was half way through yet another bottle when the other female came up to her and she gave her the best smile she could muster – which looked extremely weak and forced but her eyes twinkled for a moment because even though she was exhausted, she was excited. “ y-yeah. it’s amazing how that little joke we had is coming together and becoming something so big. it’s incredible. “

“Ah, I guess I should stop doing that for the sake of your health. Can’t risk you getting diabetes now right?” Her lips almost formed into the said offense, only to stop herself in the heat of the moment, nodding firmly with pursed lips instead.

The older squinted in suspicion when Sana’s lips threatened to mold into a pout again, only to smile when she had obediently stopped herself. “Look at our Sana thinking about my health.” Although the statement was meant to tease (and that her pout wouldn’t cause any real harm), Joohyun was still touched.

Dear Sana,

I’m kidding…well only slightly. You’re an absolute delight to be around. You’re funny and you’re able to cheer me up in any situation which is something not any one can do. I miss you often, seeing how we don’t see much of each other however I know that the next time I see you It’ll be pretty fun. EVEN THOUGH you make puns and dad jokes and they sort of make me want exit immediately, I still value you and hope that you stay around a long time with your dad jokes and all. You’re awesome kid.

That’s none of your damn business, she’d answer - but they’d kinda drifted away. Something entirely natural, Sana now was something different than just a regular human being, or so it seemed to most of her fans. Truly, it was irking the young student. Not that Mina had changed. How would she know, the once friends now barely were acquaintances. Miran couldn’t quite understand why the hell the young female would suddenly butt in the way she currently was. If the phone conversation hasn’t let the younger guess Keumjo’s current bright mood, it surely would be her skipping across the street waving her arms around excitedly ‘’Sana Sana Sana~~~ Did you hear?? Did you hear??’’ to think that during their last meetup Keumjo had cried for help questioning the future of her group, and now here she was calling out happily with the brightest smile painted across her lips. She was thankful for the youngers support to keep her going so she could see her group picking itself up strong as ever ‘’I’m going to be in the new unit in just one week! I can’t spoil you anything though I’m sorry my lips must be locked or manager Sunny unnie will scold me.’’
