OH BOY, WoL QUESTIONS.

This is Ash'li Jinjahl. A fairly gentle man who's earnest to a fault.

11) How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

Early ARR Ash'li was used to being confused a lot of the time. He wouldn't pretend he understood, but simply stayed with the people who seemed to know what they were doing in the hopes that he would eventually understand by proxy. He took comfort in knowing that the Scions knew what they were doing, as he had no real confidence in his own judgement or ability at the time.

After the Bloody Banquet though, he's made it a point to ask people directly to seek clarification if he's unsure about something. He wants enough information to be able to help others, or stop plots like that from happening again.

12) How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

Adjusting his White Mage cane, usually. Or rubbing his back against a wall or tree.

Not in front of others, though. He'd feel a little self conscious asking someone to help with something like that.

20) If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

Family is very important to Ash'li for a myriad of reasons, be it Found or Blood. But he didn't have a way to describe different kinds of love until Feo Ul started their talk on Branches and Saplings - and a tree metaphor arose (he was born and raised in the Twelveswood, after all).

Familial love is like the roots and trunk of a tree - a healthy one supports and stabilises you. Uprooting it or cutting it down is a very difficult trial.

Branches are platonic love - they give you the means to climb higher, or to simply support you in ways you wouldn't have imagined. They also grow in ways you don't expect.

Romantic love is difficult for Ash'li to describe, being fairly ace/aro (though sex positive) - as he's only had one or two people he's ever felt that way about. He would describe it as the foliage that shades you, or the blossoms that catch your eye.

21) Why do they get up in the morning? 

He's got a lot of friends and family out there. He wants to say hello to them when he can.
