I feel like whatever was going on between Uzi and J feels so one sided. It works between Uzi and V because they spend more time with each other, it worked in the pilot because J’s overconfidence was her downfall. She went ahead of herself, she underestimated Uzi and pulled a monologue, not counting that Uzi had some strength left.
The rest?
“Predictable terrible work, J.” “Oh, we are not J. We are trying to repair that host as per our directive.”
When she is trying to restore N’s memories she goes over to past J who has literally done nothing wrong yet and goes “I’ll kill you” J does not even respond, just shows a annoyed expression.
In the same episode: “Aaand J is useless! Surprise.” Which feels so out of nowhere and forced just to make J the punching bag? Like what even happened here, she is fighting V and managed to do it and got to the gala???
When they meet again? “Real tired of killing this one” like, she knows at this point that J also got turned into this but instant spite. J’s only response is “effective drones were cloned more” and doesn’t pay much attention towards Uzi anymore - she’s here to do a job, not to engage with Uzi.
And don’t get me started on the final battle because I have no idea why they would include J just so she can be the punching bag…it would have worked fine with just Cyn and Uzi
It would have worked with N and V (hence why I love the fight between V and J - it was on equal grounds, not one sided and just worked with their history together) but Uzi is just … extremely one sided that it gets boring to watch and the joke is as dead as her clones
