Stars

Solomon knocks excitedly on your door one night. "MC! Are you still awake?! I have something incredible to show you." You smile and follow him. It's a rare pleasure to see him giddy like a child.

You follow him onto the balcony. It's a clear night sky with stars littering the darkness above.

"It's a beautiful night out." You say. "What is it you wanted to show me?"

"Yes it worked! The spell is a success!"

"What spell?!"

"I created stars, MC! A special pair of them. Right over there." You followed Solomon's direction.

A little above the stars of the seven Avatars, two stars twinkled in sync. They were considerably different, brighter than others.

"You...you created them? You made actual stars?" You look at him suprised.

"Haha well not quite. Maybe it's more like a powerful illusion. It's stars that exist only for the two of us." He seemed pleased at your suprise.

"Which means only two of us can see it?"

"Only two of us in the entire world."

Your heart fluttered at his words. But he wasn't going to stop at that. No he had more to tell you.

"Now try looking at the sky while I'm looking away." Solomon turned his back, directing his gaze inside the house.

"No! They disappeared!" You pulled at his sleeve.

"Haha, don't look so upset I can bring it right back." He turned back around to stare at the sky. "Though the thought of you getting upset over not being able to see our stars makes me kind of happy."

"Oh you- don't do that again." You lightly punched his arm.

"Oh but I can't control it. They only appear if we're both looking at the sky at the same time." He wraps his arms around your shoulder.

You marvelled at his magic. "So everytime I look up and see the stars..."

"It means I am looking at them too."
