As a whole I think accessories can become heavy and get in the way and our boys gotta be ready to bust a move if something pops off. Just because they’re off duty doesn’t mean they’re not paying attention or in danger

1. a joemarr time travel au that has been in the works since october that the wonderful chasedeys came up w and let me write a version of it!!! (she probably doesn’t even remember me asking to write about it cuz it’s been so long 😭😭)

it’s also taking forever because i want it to be multiple chapters and who knew how hard it would be to write the pov’s between the past and the future 😮‍💨😮‍💨 (so this one is most likely going to be my next post because imma put out a couple chapters at different times!!!)

2. a koc/jj smutty Christmas fic 😼😼 (I CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to write a player/couch dynamic) every time i think im getting the hang out it, i reread it and delete it cuz i hate it😭😭 so that one might take a while!!

3. stef/josh angsty reunion. basically they see each other again, outside of the football field (maybe during offseason or sum??) and they finally talk about everything yk?? just a very emotional fic tho with all the angsty and eventually fluff (and probably smut 😭)

4. another stef/josh EXCEPT it has nothing to do with football and it’s a Hallmark au. like city boy Stefon meets farmer boy Josh out in butt fuck nowhere after Stefon’s plane has to have an emergency landing due to weather or some shit like that. and it’s all the cliches of a Hallmark movie. the small town community, trying to save the local bakery, Stefon not liking Christmas that much, Josh teaching him Christmas is more than just Santa and presents, it’ll even start snowing when the kiss. like i wanna go full out!!

but that ones gonna take a while too cuz it would be fully from scratch and i wouldn’t have anything to go off of (if that makes sense??😭)

5. Joemarr in France during the Paris fashion week!!! this was actually asked by an anon a while ago and i still haven’t finished it😔 (IM SO SORRY ANON!!!😓) but basically it’s them in France together and just up to no good yk?? (plus some smut cuz Ja’marr wouldn’t be able to hold himself back after see Joe’s outfit!!!)

Here, i finally finished this💀

Meet my Zelink fan kids! I have alot planned for them, but I'm too shy to actually share everything, especially bc I've only now just started fully exploring Totk (i got the game around last month) and so i wanna make sure I'm like, canon accurate, but i wouldn't mind answering questions about them👉👈

Anyhow, some fun facts about the desings:

Sonia has scars on her eyes and the tip of her left ear, why? The ones on her eyes were caused by a wolf she came across the one time she ran away from home (due to her jealousy over her sister when she was born, it's a long story), the one on her ear is bc of a bird she tried to grab once since Adira thought it was cute and wanted to pet it (Adira was 2, Sonia was 5)

Sonia's earring was a gift from her bff/crush, a gerudo girl that imma keep secret for now bc I'm still working on her

Adira's feather necklace is a gift from her close buddy/bff, a rito, which I'm also gonna be hush hush about for now

Adira messes around with alot of not so safe devices out of curiosity and the need to create, but gets her hands dirty/hurt in the process, hence the band-aids

They both have small fangs thanks to their mom (iykyk)

Adira's favorite color is pink, Sonia's is blue

Also, huge thanks to @carogdraws for helping me desing their clothes! It was a huge help and i probably wouldn't have done it without it ^^

The two girls are 3 years apart. Oldest is Sonia (yes, named after Queen Sonia herself), and the youngest is Adira

Sonia is more like her dad, especially in terms of looks, but she inherited her mother's eyes and thurst for answers. She's very energetic and adventurous and likes helping others

She tends to be the guinea-pig to a lot of her sister's projects and creations since she has almost no self-preservation. She enjoys it tho, thinking it as a fun activity to try out new things and hang out with her sister. She also enjoys carving things, mainly toys and masks. Most of her sister's toys were made by her when they were around 11 and 8

Although she is usually quite the airhead, and not really the brightest (like her dad, cough-), she definitely inherited her mother's overthinker mind. Doesn't help that she also tends to think little of herself, being the firstborn of the Princess and Hero themselves, alot of people put her under alot of high expectations and although her parents tried their best to show she didn't have to prove her worth, the gossip around town was hard to ignore, doesn't help the fact that her sister has started to become a prodigy to her mom, creating inventions to help hyrule and planning to bring the royal system back when she's old enough

Sonia though, has no intention of bringing the royal life back, nor to continue it. Like her dad she wants to explore, she's fascinated by history and wants to disvover every small relic left unseen. And she wants to travel beyond Hyrule one day as well and help those she comes across her path. But also perhaps, escape the duties and expectations others put on top of her, and perhaps prove herself better then those expectations

She loves her sister tho, despite everything, and will never admit to her how jelouse she actually is of Adira. How jealous she was of Adira of being able to hang out with their mom so much, have so much in common with her, sometimes she wonders if she has anything from her mom other then her eyes

Adira is alot like her mother, especially in the looks department, but she has her father's eyes and thurst for chaos. She's usually quiet, but very sassy when needs be, and although seeming quite shy, she got quite the temperament and wont hold back her tounge

Like mentioned previously she becoms a prodigy to her mom, creating and getting invested on inventions to help hyrule and planning to bring the royal system back when she's old enough. She spends most of her time studying and working on anything technology finding it fun to see what possible outcomes it came give

Although sometimes the pressure is too much, as much as her parents give her the liberty to explore her interests, as she had started to show advancements in her creations and helping hyrule, as well as proclaiming to bring back the kingdom (even tho she was a child when she said that), all eyes were now set on her and she is terrified of any failure, and to disappoint everyone, she usually confides on her sister who never cared of her status and just liked to be around her for her (and well, she felt too embarrassed about it to tell her parents about it, they didn't need to worry about such simple things in her eyes, they already fought the townsfolk so much bc of that, she didn't want to make them dislike her parents bc of her)

She admires her sister alot, looks up to her and wishes she could be as cool as her, as free as her, but she isn't good in any sort of physical activities and is usually just stuck in the lab. And that causes a smidge of jealousy as Sonia is able to bond more with their dad then Adira ever could, she feels like she has nothing in common to her dad other then his eyes and need for chaos (which the second part was something looked down apon by others)

And those are the basics i have so far, there is more but I'm unsure about it for now, and aren't 100% concrete yet, so i wont share at the moment

But before i end this, here are some small fun facts:

Both Sonia and Adira are pure glutons, just like their dad XD. They have cooking sessions together quite often, helping around the kitchen when they can;

Sonia loves horses as much as her dad does, but she is terrified of riding them, because when she was little and riding one for the first time, the person who set settle on didn't do it properly and she fell, head first into a rocky ground, and to add onto it, the horse stepped right onto her pinky. Now she has small panic attacks trying to ride them

Sonia actually used to hate Adira. Since Adira was a rainbow baby, Zelda and Link did kinda get overprotective with her and accidentally neglected Sonia. That didn't last long after Sonia did cause a whole scene with running away and almost getting killed- but that's likez a whole other story in itself lol (i might make a more detailed post about this later). But after that incident, they were able to work things out, and Sonia ended up being way more protective over Adira than her own parents

YES I WILL!!! (I just an evil little giggle XD ) this takes place in the tts universe. Vat7k is cannon to this au(?) too! Get ready for a whole ass novel!

She was born into a very financially well off family and lived in a nice neighborhood. They were actually nice people too and raised her well. Her dad taught her to fight and her mom how to sew and stuff like that. Her mom gave her the knife you see in her hair. It has her mom’s name, Rose, engraved on the blade. Her parents ended up dying in a carriage accident when she was 10. Without her parents she didn’t know what to do- so she ended up roaming the streets and steeling food. One day a man named José finds her and takes her in. José works for Donella (the “evil” lady from 7 kingdoms). He doesn’t rlly live in a house, he has one of those carts that carries hay and stuff and he lives in that lol. So he and Ruby travel around basically doing fetch quests for people but occasionally get smuggling and stealing jobs from Donella. After a few years they end up breaking away from Donella and go off to do their own thing. One day they get a job in Corona, their jobs are like, bring these crates of strawberries to this store in a different city, or, take these sheep to this farmer, and stuff like that. They’re in Corona for a few days and hear about a teen (or at least that’s what the papers say) that’s in prison. (Ruby is around 15 here btw.) she and José don’t think that someone who they are told is Ruby’s age should be in the kingdoms dungeons. That doesn’t seem fair to them. So- Ruby decides to break him out. Ruby, José, and now an on the run Varian start traveling again and doing jobs and stuff. While they’re in the road again I think they would prolly see Rapunzel and co a few times- Not interact yet tho. I don’t remember exactly why (I’ll figure it out later lol) but Ruby, José, and Varian come back to Corona. They are approached by the Saporian separatists who ask Varian to build stuff for them, and they’d pay him both in money and a reversal to the amber solution (that they don’t have) in return. He takes the deal but doesn’t fully trust them. Mainly to get on their good side. Throughout him working with the Saporians, he and Ruby confirm that they are not gonna do good things with the stuff Varian’s making. The Saporians do still wipe the king and queen memories (with a stolen potion) and take control over Corona. Varian and Ruby make a plan to get out of the deal and hopefully free Corona from the Saporians control. The night before they put their plan into action, Varian is working on his side project, an actual reversal to the amber solution. An accident happens and Varian gets ambered. Ruby got woken up at some point and tries to help but ends up with a shattered her knife and a lotta guilt. (Imma write a fic for that at some point) Ruby (José went back on the road on his own and Ruby stayed in Corona with Varian) ends up going to the Dark Kingdom via stolen hot air balloon to find Rapunzel. So instead of Raps and co finding Ulf and Shorty that take them home- it’s a very traumatized and angry Ruby XD. She convinces them to come help her and brings them back to Corona. Taos uses the Decay incantation to unamber Varian and his father. (I actually came up with that point before I got to that ep- so I was shocked that I accidentally predicted it when I watched it XD ) the rest of season 3 happens like normal but smack my oc in there lol.

I have lore for vat7k- and I didn’t even mention bourbon!! 😭 he’s my friends oc- they meet when Ruby, José, and Varian are on the road and Bourbon and Ruby become friends. So Eeps dimension hopping has a limit of five jumps that's fair right?

when he exceeds it his body is put on low power mode which can cause delayed reactions and causes him to be more defenseless, dimension hopping takes a lot of power after all. Dimension hopping is random, but eep can save the coordinates of the previous ones it's been to and can return to them. Another thing I should mention is when eep dimension hops it can only teleport itself, it still hasn't found a way to bring other people along with it though

He knows I exist

Eep doesn't have his own dimension, part of the reason he dimension hops, he has no home

I think I mentioned eeps lore one time but it was really short and vague sooo imma redo it here

One day eep just woke up in a strange place, it was dark and void like, he had no idea where he was but he could feel dread building up in him the longer he stayed causing his body to instinctively shift into a different dimension, he was awake now and with this new found freedom he decided to wander aimlessly with no purpose for a bit

He's aware that he's an OC

Eep is afraid of death and what comes after, he knows he's a OC so sometimes he thinks when he dies he'll just disappear forever or what he does doesn't matter, so he tries to interact with as many people OCs as possible so that someone will remember him, he decided to make it his life's purpose to find his creator. he gave himself this mission so he could have some reason for existing, for being alive.

In other words he suffers from an existential crisis, sometimes it can get really bad causing him to malfunction, he wasn't made to deal with so many emotions at once

When he gets extremely stressed about it he shuts down, the overwhelming sense of dread and danger puts him in a defensive state..y'know this thing↓ It's very rare though talking to and meeting people has helped him a lot with understanding who he is

So I'm doing a full rewatch of maps from the story mode including Travelers and Si'ha ones.I already said this before in a post and on that same post I reblog what I could notice from Traveler and Si'ha respectives maps,which most of it where points already known by the community(but there are some that I think could be explore more Idk I'm not really good at this stuff)

But with Save your Tears I prefer to do a different post about it because there are somethings which can be deciftive I think it's the word?....But rather than doing my theory(which I'm still working on it I still have to see the rest of the maps from the story mode to have some concrete)I'm going to put here some points already known by the community but others which maybe can say a lot about how they met(or I think I'm not the lore guardian to say this is canon,this is just a theory that whoever read this can take with a grain of salt)

So some points are(takes notebook)

-The map taken place at the spacetime hotel(Why did I write this tho)

-Traveler appearing through a portal that takes to the map of Last Friday Night(this was more because of the wink that leads to this map)

-Traveler opening a portal to Si'Ha(I should have ommited to write this)

-Each one doing differents dance moves but later doing the other ones moves(But I think in their own style?Idk I will need to rewatch it that,also I wrote this to make parallels to Murder on the Dance Floor to see if there was something different in the dance)

-Flow flowing for both of them(Traveler characteristic one and Si'ha seems to have sparkles on her Flow?)

-Triangles hand move

-Starting a fusion between the Spacetime Hotel and Si'Ha maps(or not but that can be debatable)

-Now with the Bridge where they are doing the hands glowing thing that supposed to be Wanderlust welcoming to the world(also this is a gold move)

-At the end Traveler opening a portal but instead of returning to his respective map he goes to Si'ha ones and Si'ha goes to his map

Now I know that a lot of people know about this points but I also want to point out the lyrics of the song that might have a hint about how they met or what exactly happens(now this can be interpretated however you want to)

This part is sang during Traveler part I assume this is more of second meeting tho but again I'm just going to leave that to everyone interpretation

This is sang during Si'ha part and I feel like the story of this two was some kind of forbidden love?because of the somebody else(now don't come up at me about saying that I think Si'ha cheated on Traveler I think both of this was waaaay before this two ended up together and having Wanderlust and without cheating involve from both parts)(I'm still seeing comments like that in Youtube)

This could also lead to the fact about the reunion that the former lore guardian says a long time ago but who knows I'm not lore master or working on the JD team to know what will happen.This is just some points that I could take.

which is the better webcomic to you homestuck or breadavota?

i mean im like the one man fandom of bread but hs has the advantage (or disadvantage) of being finished, breadavota still has the potential to majorly fuck itself up the way hs did after act 3

imma try 2 break my opinion down in detail

characters:

ok so i will say that hs characters r based on american subcultures and im not american so theres probably some emotional appeal 2 its mostly american audience that i dont relate 2, so i think most of its audience will find them more relatable or deep than i do

anyway i think breadavotas characters r generally more well-developed but hs wins by diversity, even tho admittedly the majority of the hs cast r one-off characters made as jokes (looking at u dancestors)

i said this in a previous post but rpp mostly writes just One Type Of Guy: vaguely schizophrenic assholes

but w/e jacques and bien r fucking winning at being vaguely schizophrenic assholes and u gotta respect jacques for being a character with an actual schizoid personality disorder diagnosis instead of just "coded mentally ill"

johns more interesting than bread is so far tho

worldbuilding:

with hs i think the worldbuilding that rly fleshed out the hs universe didnt rly happen in hs but happens in the other stuff (friendsims, hiveswap, etc) so idk if that counts

hs definitely does portraying alternias culture in a way that promotes the transformative/interactive nature its aiming at: its easy to imagine making ur own trollsona/oc bcuz u can imagine alternia as a place

maldevara is barely a "place" and is more like. a state of being. or a vibe. like there r bits and pieces of its physical culture but most of what we know about it is the sociopolitical philosophy of the maldevarans

idk what the word for it is, ig hs is a more "fun" story and breadavota while not exactly a "serious" story just feels more.... "thinky" and philosophical, its engaging as a thought exercise but isnt the most appealing as a "story" per se

weird-ass aliens:

i like the marginals better but they rly do appeal to a very particular niche ig. the trolls undeniably have better appeal and relatability

the thing with the marginals is that the "depth" of their character building doesnt have as strong as an impact unless u relate 2 the specific Mental Illnesss Experience they embody

both of them have the "4 some reason this super foreign alien species essentially just look like humans bcuz of obvious author appeal" but ig breadavota kinda gets away w/ that bcuz the marginals r more-or-less implied to be part human..... or smthng (at least media is)

the hemosystem of the trolls gives it an edge in diversity (all the marginals on the other hand just seem vaguely The Same Guy and even if it makes sense narratively 4 them 2 be like that it still makes it feel like theres no point in caring about anybody that isnt The Marginal Trademark Symbol Media) altho i do hate how the hemosystem eventually turned the first 12 trolls into archetypes that every other troll was an expy of so idk

"game" mechanics:

both hs and breadavota use the videogamey mechanics for their magic/reality systems so its worth comparing

hs has better mechanics imo but abandoned them halfway thru the story and sburb was kinda forgotten by act 6, which is a shame bcuz u can rly see how hussie used that computer science knowledge and translated it to the hs world mechanics

breadavotas mechanics r harder to grasp and feel less "logical" imo but if the story actually keeps up their relevance it might be easier 2 get used 2 over time

time travel shenanigans:

hs was rly good at handling its time travel shenanigans ill give hussie a point for that one

breadavota has some leniency again bcuz the story isnt that far into it yet but theres not enough "altline" stuff and tbh idk how rpp plans on handling the whole "it isnt real/its all just a dream" trope implied with the alternate timeline doomed to undo itself in a way that doesnt make u think "well what the fuck was the point of all of that then"

visuals:

would u believe me if i said homestuck. lmfao

rpp is a good artist and a good writer but its clear to me that they were never a comic artist before and has trouble portraying a story with pictures

idk how 2 explain it exactly but i think the thing is rpp as an artist draws very "literally" and the way they write is veryyyy abstract, and this is rly most evident in the prose stories that completely lack visuals. rpp has always relied alot on narration (and all the prose stories are either majority narration or even just narration), and they cant do that with the comics bcuz the comics need dialogue

hs mostly has simple visuals but the dialogue format makes it so they feel more integrated

also the hs flashes are just masterworks imo

ofc as a diehard breadavota stannie ill defend breadavota as being a mostly one-person endeavor made by a chronically ill person and the hs flashes had multiple artists so yeah

hussie has always been an artist and hs isnt their first work so they had a lot of experience under their belt. i do respect breadavota for what it is considering its the first thing rpp has ever made

music:

homestuck wins bro it has toby fox. ig breadavota doesnt "need" a musician but rpp obviously likes putting music in the story so it would be a bonus

(i know rpp made like one instrumental song which wasnt a bad song but they obviously r not a musician)

pacing:

they both fucking suck but hs got away with it better

hs dragged itself out way 2 long only to rush itself near the end but hussie updating astronomically fast when it was running made the slowness feel negligible

breadavotas pacing could use a lot of slowing down if ur an archive reader but bcuz it takes like one update every million years to progress it feels excruciatingly slow. like in the four years the story has existed its only been two days in the comic

tbh i think breadavota updates fast enough for a webcomic, at least it feels on par w/ other webcomic updates. most regular webcomics done by single artists updates one page a week so all things considered breadavota has a good amount of content especially considering that rpp doesnt have as much time as ppl whose job it is is to draw their comics

hussie was just exceptionally fast even when considering that its bcuz hs has overall less visuals and recycled sprites

at the very least the new website fixed the most annoying issue the old website for bread had where having every minor update in between the major ones was distracting

conclusion:

tbh i think hs has a lot of mass appeal and rly strikes being so weird and unique w/o being as "off putting" and even tho hussie kinda fumbled the bag over the years the popularity hs has feels well-deserved

im biased 2 breadavota but i can say it does feel very inclined towards a specific type of audience bcuz the entire story is structured around a specific type of experience. like its a very "alienated 4 being mentally ill" story but w/o the usual "but we find found family and community in fellow alienated ppl" that u would usually expect/want in this type of story and like its intentional bcuz the story is about that but i understand it makes it hard 4 most ppl to latch on to

the pop culture references of hs and diversity of character "tropes" can make it broadly relatable and while i dont think u need to "relate" to characters or stories 2 find value in them i think the thing is if u dont exactly see where breadavota is coming from the "point" of it doesnt rly hit

i think what i like abt breadavota is that it portrays certain experiences that nothing else ive seen rly does, but its a rly "thinky" sort of comic that makes it less "fun" as just a story (even if it does still work as a story) for ppl who dont care for or see what its getting at

also since breadavota rly appeals to a specific person on top of already being obscure it means practically everyone engaged w/ the comic interprets it a similar way. i think what made hs get as big as it did was that people werent just engaged with hs alone, they engaged w/ the fandom and saw alot of different theories and analysis

hussie and rpp have both always been "weird" and that reflects in their story but their "brand" of weirdness uhhh reflects in their story. for how polarized hussie is in the fandom ultimately theyve always been more for interactivity: hs started as reader-led, they already had an audience and connections from being an artist for a long time and hussie clearly has a broad collection of interests and inspirations to draw from which makes hs feel "well rounded" and the recognition of inspirations a bonus to some

rpp is an insular person even among the ppl they know, they dont talk 2 ppl, they dont read books, they dont play games, they dont watch tv, etc. homestuck is an inspiration for breadavota not just bcuz "rpp rly likes homestuck" but bcuz they dont rly know a lot of stories to use as an inspiration and their overall reclusiveness makes their character writing feel particular in a way that can be offputting 2 other ppl bcuz first of all they dont know how normal ppl act and secondly since rpp is a "clasically" intelligent person they seem unable to write characters who arent all somewhat intellectual. bien is an "idiot" but lbr... he is not an idiot lmfaooooo. the "thinky"-ness that permeates everything they make can make the story intimidating and it has high expectations for the overall "intelligence" of its audience. and like thats not a bad thing, 2 many stories treat their readers like idiots, but it does make it a story that feels very all or nothing. u either gotta be autistic abt it or u dgaf

breadavota sorta has no choice but 2 draw from author experience bcuz rpp doesnt rly have the means to draw it from anything else. they dont know pop culture, they arent part of communities and they dont engage in fandoms, and that makes breadavota as a story have an interesting and candid perspective that does make it stand out even among other self identified MSPFA type stories but it also makes it both broadly unrelatable and inevitably tinged with the Schizoisms in a way homestuck for all its "craziness" was never so hardcore abt

(Warning there’s gonna be a lot of info! Also imma condense your other ask into here! Bc the Source Dragonkin are involved in the background of the Average Dragonkin so yea)

A bit of basic info -So dragonkin are a magical species, meaning they use magic to mimick the abilities of dragons! -Dragonkin are created through 2 ways: the normal way (reproduction) and through corruption in the magic! (Basically if you learn their magic, you gain their mutations)

-Dragonkin have a proficiency in Elemental magic! Generally sticking to one, creating different factions that learn different elements.

—— the difference between Elemental power and Elemental magic: elemental power has a quicker response time and requires less energy and the energy replenishes faster, Elemental magic generally takes longer to cast and takes more energy! (Basically controling vs asking)

-Magically induced Dragonkin generally take after the dragon they learnt from (EG. Ampu takes after a departed dragon, even though they use wind E magic)

-Magic proficiency also extends to other areas, so healing and mental based magic is also learned.

-they can turn into dragons! It’s pretty cool :)

-also the Shintarans are descended from the original Dragonkin, leaving them with their wings, sharp nails and pale skin.

Lore:

the source dragons, after creating the first dragons (and oni? Ig?) wanted to create a species to pioneer change and be a constant between realms, so they created the Dragonkin as basically the prototype humans. The first 7 were dubbed the ‘source’ Dragonkin. They were the link between the source dragons and everything in the first realm, kinda like prophets or mediums? The source Dragonkin I have created thus far are Melus-Water(or whatever the what’re SD is), Blaze-Movement, Lilli- Life (also adopted sibling of the FSM), and Boreas- (whatever the Ice SD is)

the source Dragonkin tried to stay neutral in the Oni-Dragon war, often having to babysit the FSM. But that didn’t mean there wasn’t infighting. See each Source dragonkin had their own faction, each mirroring the quality they represented (Blaze wanted his people to keep moving, Lilli wanted to nurture life, ect). The problem was that they had a bit of a difference in opinion on what to do with the humans, (this isn’t helped with Boreas marrying and having children with one, but we move on) see Blaze sees them as weak, so his Allies back him, and Lilli thinks they’re the future, so their allies back them! So basically it’s a Cold War among the factions.

soon the Oni-Dragon war caused the destruction of some of the factions camps, causing them to be forced to work together and get along. This is around the time The FSM goes on to create the realms other than the first realm. After the realms are made the Dragonkin spread out between them.

currently I have a few Dragonkin OC’s and I encourage people to make their own! I’d love to see them!

Here are the ones I’ve developed:

Ampu- departed MI Dragonkin, Learnt by mimicking an actual dragon’s attacks. (Yea theirs is a weird one, where they didn’t actually mean to, but it happened anyways. Boreas swoops in and helps out tho-)

Silver/Arlo- an In-Progress “Water” Dragonkin, being taught by Melus and is taking a strangely long amount of time coming into their mutations… (they have a big key to a part of the lore that involves Fate and how the magic works and stuff but it’s still a WIP so I can’t really say much for now :3)

Boreas- The ‘Ice’ source Dragonkin, gentle but strict. Went with the FSM when he created Ninjago, and was another parental figure to Wu and Garmadon. Currently helping out Ampu

Melus- ‘Water’ Source Dragonkin, lives within the realm of mysterium, but travels to Ninjago regularly. Has their own students but has Arlo as her main one. Her and Blaze mirror Kai and Nya.

Porcelain- Boreas’s daughter, Mains in Water magic with a side of earth. Boreas thought they were dead. What a surprise when the find each other!

I haven’t really thought much about Lilli and Blaze but yea that what I can think of at the moment!

sorry it took me a while to read the fae story, zenless zone zero has been grippin me by the neck but dang, love kynseed, such a good game and i find it very touching the love you pour into this story, id like to know more (and jonah's sister intrigues me tbh)

no worries at all on the replying! i'm also sorry about the super long wait for this answer too lol (i had a lot of stuff happening for me this past week, nothing bad tho so no worries)

kynseed really had me in the throat with the idea of estranged siblings and the prologue was so good with setting that up! I loved when you meet your sibling again after the time skip and i was honestly super upset when they told me they wanted to be alone (i also named them after my own sibling so that adds more too lol)

i also really liked that when you reach rep 3 your sibling is back but in my game, they just suddenly come back and is super happy seeing me again and not addressing how they left me (also is there supposed to be a letter they send you before you meet again?? i swore i saw a screenshot of a letter someone sends to you in the game but i never came across it myself). but also the lack of apology left me thinking of the idea of you letting it go because you dont want to lost them again and the resentment that could build from that

i tried to transfer the idea of that into my story via jonah's sister (which imma put under a read more for this part as we are now proceeding past kynseed)

jonah's younger twin sister shay is similar to the idea of what i thought about the kynseed sibling being, a sibling seemingly abandoned by their twin whom they never forgave. shay is also a sentinel (refresh: sentinels are fae blessed children who travel and bridge the world of fae and humans) but she doesn't want to be. she didnt ask for this life and wishes that she was normal. one day she's going to outlive those she loves and latched on to jonah, the only person in her childhood who she wont outlive. however jonah wants to be a sentinel and, when forced to make the choice between following her or his own path, he chose his own

shay has never forgiven him for it and cut him out of her life. both siblings are miserable but also refuse to be the first to apologize. jonah because he has always chosen her over his own wants and has turned resentful that the one time he chooses to be selfish, she cuts him off. shay because she's stubborn and was incredibly hurt that he wants to do the role that has estranged them from most of humanity.

shay isnt really a great person, having spent decades letting her resentment fester and she's really callous with people but shes a lot kinder to animals and if she truly pities you. she's also the kind of person who lashes out at others when shes upset. shay does still care about jonah, no matter what she says, but for now, she won't apologize and will only forgive jonah if he apologizes first and renounces his role as a sentinel

i have a lot of fun trying to figure things out with jonah and shay, the doomed siblings duo. they both love each other but are too stubborn to be the first to cross the gap and neither want to compromise. theyre in a frustrating situation and im most particularly enjoying tyring to find things for shay to do (i wish i can draw faster and actually visualize properly haha...) but that's all! thanks for reading
