I wonder what makes stampede different from beastars and houseki no kuni. I understand that houseki is hard to keep adapting cuz the manga isnt done but I didn't see this much care and attention from the studio, same with beastars, although that one had its seasons basically guaranteed. It didn't depend on attention alone.

I'm not saying stampede is better/worse than the other animes (I watched all of them). I'm just curious why is stampede being treated like a western show and its future depends on people's attention and merch.

Has it always been like this and I didn't know?
