yoo omg you get him, you truly get him im gonna cry (つ╥﹏╥)つ. i hate how rational readers are being driven off from the fandom coz of this stupid agendakaisen - but leaving the fandom and just enjoying the manga by yourself is the best thing to do for your mental health lmao and with the amount of people whining and crying about how megumi should just 'lock in'.. like my god do they hear themselves. if megumi just 'locks in' like that sukuna would look like a dumbass clown, going through all that effort for nothing. i have some gripes about how the story is going, but megumi not standing up immediately after yuji appeared in front of him without saying a single word is the one thing that makes the most sense in that manga. if thats all it took to help megumi (yuji just standing in front of him like that) - then that means nothing sukuna did mattered.

and yes, it does seem like it stems from some kinda toxic masculinity bs - i never really thought about it that way until now. coz these people wants megumi to act a certain way which goes against his entire characterization, just because they want him to 'just fight already'. he needs to have another reason to fight, and it could be to save his friends, his classmates, the entire planet earth, but most importantly himself - but he has to have a proper internalization first. just like how yuji needed a reason to keep moving forward after shibuya, megumi needs one as well rn. and that wont happen just like that. also if megumi keeps winning fights i wouldnt like him at all, that would be boring af. imagine him winning against the freshly reincarnated sukuna in the first ep, or against hanami, or against toji?? the fights they were all clowning him for losing were all against enemies that was only ever defeated by gojo himself (except sukuna of course ( • ᴖ • ｡)). so aside from him having insecurity problems, he was up against beasts above his league with no assist (except for hanami, coz maki was there with him and they both lost. and then todo and yuji tagteamed hanami but hanami only ran away because gojo threw a purple in her direction). and im just done with people saying he 'lost' to haruta. like my god, its like we are reading different stories. haruta happened to be there when megumi was already a thread away from death. we can literally read him saying his priority was to go to shoko coz not only was he suffering from physical injuries, his brain needs a reset after he did that domain to save nanami, maki and naobito. like, my boy was already dying before haruta even sucker punched him (╥﹏╥)

sorry for the long rant again but this misunderstanding of megumi's character is getting so out of hand, i dont see rational takes about him often ಥ‿ಥ

JJK’s god forsaken fandom has done lots of characters dirty. Whether it be downplaying Nobara’s backstory, some calling Maki a “Toji copy,” you get it. However literally no other JJK character has been done as dirty or bad in the fandom than Megumi:

His trauma and his damn FATHER leaving him gets downplayed by the fandom, saying how “he said he didn’t care.”

He gets called bland, yet if his insecurities are explored along with his inferiority complex it either gets ignored or he STILL gets slandered.

When he is appreciated he either gets sexualized or watered down to his long eyelashes.

Good fights that show his INCREDIBLE smartness along with fighting the curse, Reggie, Kirara, etc get ignored or get credibility taken away.

The scene where he literally gets Yuji back up at the campfire is ALSO ignored. (Without Megumi or Todo Itadori would’ve given up. It’s no debate.)

Gets sexism from toxic masculine wannabe “alpha” boys who are butthurt he isn’t your typical “cool powerful badass.”

(MANGA SPOILERS) His body when taken over by Sukuna gets touched inappropriately by Yorozu, which can practically count as SA. However literally NOBODY notices this.

His dynamic with Tsumiki and how much he cares for her is undermined.

Literally almost all scenes that show his mind and depth gets undermined.

Some people say his backstory “wasn’t that bad” just because he had Gojo take him in. ☠️

He gets victim blamed for what happened with Sukuna in the manga.

(MANGA SPOILERS) He gets blamed for being depressed and giving up when his LITERAL REASON for becoming a Jujutsu sorcerer and living is gone, along with his body being used to kill his own mentor and taking billions of hits.

There’s literally so much more but I’ll stop there. The way Megumi aka a literal TEENAGER is treated in this god awful fandom is actually so disgusting, and reeks of major apologism along with victim blaming. He can’t put a finger on it, but he has a feeling of dread whenever he sees Geto with you, and silently wishes it’s him. Shoko tries helping.   Gojo’s eyes glared at you and Geto, he was grateful his eyes were concealed behind his dark shades. A beautiful warm orangey-yellow coated you two both, Gojo noted how golden hour suited you so well, but for once paid no mind to Geto. Both of you were sweating incredibly hard, but didn’t seem to mind the sticky skin and the clothing.

  You were profusely giggling, and every time you caught your breath, Geto would tickle you again and you’d burst into a fit of giggles, and the cycle would repeat.

   Your cans of Pepsi sat untouched, not even the caps were opened.   Grumbling, Gojo took another swig out of his second energy drink. Still looking at the both of you through his glasses. He sat down on a bench, hunched over. Even though he hated the very sight of you hanging out and being so friendly with each other, he didn’t want to leave.

    Was it fear of Geto kissing you without Gojo’s vision cast upon you two?

 “Stalking (Y/N) and Geto again?” a familiar serious voice grumbled, Gojo’s head swung around before he realized Shoko was sitting down on the bench next to him. She crossed her leg, Shoko’s shoulder length hair ruffled a bit in the weak breeze as she shifted her gaze towards him.

   Gojo blinked, cursing himself for being so obvious in his stalking endeavors. It would be too useless to even argue, trying to tell Shoko that he wasn’t even looking at them, and rather very interested at a random bench that just so happened to be next to the pair was comparable to just straight up admitting that you had a crush on (Y/N).

 “This is my first time even lookin at the two, fuck are you talking about, saying again?” Gojo placed a hand on his chest, leaning backwards a little. Grinning a little while taking another generous swig of his energy drink. “Free entertainment, I’d rather look at them then some fucking birds flying by.”

 “Mmm. Yeah okay.” Shoko nodded sarcastically, and then burst into a fit of giggles.

 “What?”

 “Holy shit, Satoru.” Shoko was now holding her stomach. Wiping the corners of her eyes. It had been a while since he had seen Shoko laugh like that, she was always doom and gloom all the time. Gojo couldn’t quite put a finger on why she was laughing, though.

 “I’m not that stupid, Satoru.” laughing again, opening her drink loudly, then taking a short sip of her canned coffee. I’m pretty sure I see you looking at (Y/N) more then I see you gloating to some dumb schoolgirls in public.”  

 “I have no fucking idea what you’re talking about.”

 “You get defensive when you’re lying.” Shoko stuck her pinky out, her eyes bore into his. Gulping down the rest of her drink. She crushed it with a singular hand, examining the wrinkles and folds in the now compressed and beyond repair tin.

 “I do not! You’re accusing me of some weird ass shit, you know.” Gojo spat out, an unfamiliar feeling bubbling inside of him. He had never felt this before. Playing with the hem of his pocket a little, he reached for his emergency candy that he always had in his back pocket, he hated awkward situations like this. He stared down at Shoko, heart beating quickly for some unbeknownst reason.

 He played a little with the wrapper in his pocket, while Shoko leaned her back on the bench, looking at the sky. She crossed her arms, setting the crushed can on the splintered wood bench, blowing on a stray hair on her face. “Whatever, Satoru.” she grinned, replying a little later. She stood up, casually throwing the can into the nearby trashcan. She shoved her hands into her pockets, walking down the gravel path.

 As her figure grew farther and farther into the distance, Gojo sighed, realizing that he had completely forgotten about you and Geto.

 He turned his head over his shoulder, this time not as obviously. You and Geto were still giggling with each other, like a stupid couple. Your Pepsi cans still sat untouched, water dripping down the both of them. It was like the two of you forgot Gojo or Shoko were ever there.

 He spat at the ground, guzzling down the remaining energy drink. Crushing the can, just like Shoko had done but with way more aggression, Gojo angrily threw it into the trashcan, grinding his teeth. ‧₊˚✩彡.   “AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” You screamed, arms up in the air, hair blowing in the wind. Geto was chasing after you around the grass field, Gojo’s legs splayed out, entranced by the two of you running around in circles.   “I’M GONNA FUCKING GET YOU, (Y/N)!” Geto grabbed at the air, running at you. You squealed loudly, running even faster.   Gojo mindlessly took a bite out of a sandwich, spitting out a tomato. Sn1 really made me cry and i'm a sucker for angst. I really love this sotry and can't wait for Sn2. Also how people see the perspective of the characters is amazing. There both in a wrong no matter how you see it. Even people saying that yn hid the baby is the first selfish thing she has done, but still its not right tho. the funny thing about the fake marriage thing is that between all our friends they would never even actually think we’re together bc we’re both just too gay LMAO also yes... i’m rlly glad this is a safe space and that many can relate <3 i wish all closeted gays a good evening and i hope that they know that they are always loved and accepted even if it seems like they’re not.

i’m glad someone likes the idea of the role reversal btw <3 i personally loved satosugu’s whole thing in the manga and it made me pass out when gojo literally went “my soul rejects you” like okay we get it.. their dynamic is just so good and i want to go on a whole rant about how much i love them and how geto was truly the only one that could call him out and be considered his ‘equal’... also that part where geto goes “at least curse at me a little at the very end” while smiling hahaha. they’re in love your honor.

BUT AAAAAA. imagine if gojo had to kill rip!mc himself in this role reversal and like... i just imagine he had a very sad conversation with shoko asking her to basically not get rid of the body (like he did with geto). i feel like he’d blame himself and think that he actually cursed her? getwo did say he was only considerate in the most awkward moments so 😌.. I’M SORRY FOR THE ANGST BUT ITS SOOOOOOO <3 the prison realm gets activated and all gojo can think about is how he failed rip!mc and i imagine for the brief moment the body’s personality switches back rip!mc tears up bc gojo says “i’m sorry” and she knows he’s too proud to say that. hehe - 💫 anon

GOJO BEING CONSIDERATE TO GETO BY NOT LETTING SHOKO GET RID OF THE BODY IS JUST HGNREGJ I HATE THINKING ABOUT IT SO MUCH. that quote was literally the only thing that stuck out to me the entire chapter. gojo’s act of kindness only came after geto was dead because he’s just. so awkward!!

the part abt rip!mc regaining control of her body only for gojo to tell her im sorry....goodbye that actually hurts :D sdfjdsfnjhg OUCH

you know what’s even sadder??? rip!mc not being killed by gojo. she quits being a jujutsu sorcerer after riko’s death. gojo and geto and shoko keep their distance after she quits, especially gojo (otherwise he’d be showing up at her place every other day tbh), because they think she just needs time. like i’ve said before, after the amanai incident everyone just pretended rip!mc was okay when she really wasn’t okay. but she was insistent that they leave her alone, so they left it. mental health care in japan, especially back then??? horrible. so obviously none of them had the proper resources to fully acknowledge their trauma (and that’s on the adults!!!)

and then she dies. off screen. no fanfare or bravo just like nanami

soon yaga is telling them, fingers squeezing his temple, voice trembling that you’re dead. silence ensues afterwards as they try to digest the information. the cigarette falls out of shoko’s mouth. geto’s eyes are wide. gojo’s shock turns into fury within seconds, and not even geto knows if he’s mad at you, himself, or the world.

the first thing impulsive teenager gojo wants to do is see your body. confirm it with his six eyes that you’re dead. you don’t have family either. what’s going to happen to your body?? the day before your funeral shoko spends the night in the morgue with your body. geto goes to your apartment. gojo is gone and only comes back in time for the funeral. the three of them spend the entire day at your grave.

gojo blaming himself for not being there??? for leaving you alone???

he will forever be haunted by the thought of you dying alone.

or alternatively:

geto defects and then you finally quit. you still die. geto finds out and goes to your grave every year. five years after you’ve passed away, he’s about to leave when he finds gojo standing a couple feet away.

Sashisu headcanons?

Hii! Sorry to all you guys who asked me things. I got a bit tired of asks and didn't have a lot of time. But I'll get to them eventually, promise

I have loads of headcanons that always change with sashisu, but i have some visual headcanons that i STAND by. As an artist i kinda thrive of visual nik naks

SaShiSu having bisexual eyes. I will never let go of this. Suguru having red and Shoko purple eyes, ugh, im such a sucker for it. It would make Shokos design so much more interesting and it would elevate the group dynamic without any backstory needed. Suguru being Satorus opposite and Shoko is between them.

Shoko having moles everywhere where we dont see in the manga, so under her turleneck, legs, arms, everywhere

Suguru rocking snakebites and other Piercings and also black nail polish. It would suit him so much and i love a man that is comfortable with fashion statements

I haven't been consistent with this one but i think Satoru still has the Toji fight scars on him. They never healed correctly. The big diagonal slash across his chest, the nick on his forehead and the stab wounds on his leg.

The trio wearing grunge in their teenage years. I just think it fits, some nice y2k grunge stuff. And then later they changed to more sophisticated clothing.
