Me in my very first class as a substitute teacher after completely losing control of the kids in the first 2 minutes

#several fights broke out in different corners of the room #2 8-year-olds broke out a makeup palette and started playing with eye shadow #kids were sprinting around the class in circles #kids kept running out the door into the hall #one kid appointed himself as Door Guard and started guarding the door for the rest of that class. he even completed his worksheet #shoutout to door kid #the hall monitor and teacher next door both came in at one point to yell at them #the moment they left it was back to sheer chaos #i made one kid cry because i told her off for being bad #one kid was hiding from the noise under a table in the corner and i just let her. i understood #how the hell can 1 adult control 30 9-year-olds tbh. how the hell do they expect teachers to do that tbh #you need 1 teacher to just sit in the back and yell at the kids when they get rowdy and another one to actually do the teaching #okay well #pain #myart #comix #substitute teacher #the pain #the agony even #my throat still hurts from all the yelling #teacher comic #im dying #good bye lol #I did 1st - 6th grade classes and 3rd grade was the worst. at least the 1st and 2nd graders could be distracted by telling them to draw #the older ones were quieter and better behaved in general #half the 1st graders cried at some point and one of them peed their pants. still better than 3rd grade #skjnsdkjdsn #trans

YEAH. This entire show has been a character study and then in the last 2 episodes they didn’t really focus on um. the. characters? Bro why was so much of that a scarab fight scene 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Fionna & cake’s very interesting interpersonal conflict is just kind of Over. the cause (fionna worrying about cake’s safety because that’s her CAT vs cake being excited about her independence and feeling like she can take care of herself) is not mentioned again, and the most recent direct subject (making the world magical and changing everyone vs keeping it as it is but cake is either out of place or has to lose her independence) turns out to be kind of a moot point. Everyone just,. Gets what they want. There’s not any like. Emotionally resounding resolution to Fionna’s arc of trying to be a hero, being a hero wrong, being upset that she’s doing it wrong, feeling like she messes everything up, it’s just not. like. revisited. properly.

simon is. head in my fuckinfg hands. All they did was directly explain things anyone who was paying attention already knows!!!! This is the most surface level version of this!!!!! IKR??? esp bcs Indonesia is like the fourth modt populated country in the world ,,, like obv mandarin and english n hindi wld be above it, then spanish n arabic bcs its got so many countries, but its wildddd its so low for native speakers. Even if u include non native speakers its only 11th :0

I wonder if #that's how they mate?? or maybe just some sortof strange bug fight or something.. interesting little creature party happening #out on the pavement on that day #3. Its kind of hard to see but on the inside of this watermelon there is a slightly lighter formation that sort of looks like a heart shape #4. special breakfast of scrambled eggs. soy sausages. and jarred artichoke heart. with some black coffee and whipped cream + a strawberry #5. ARBY.. fish ...traditional summer treat available only until like september maybe for like a month. but I love them because theyre cheap #lol.. the next closest/cheapest fried fish sort of option that is easily acessible to me is a more upscale fast food place where you can ge #three tiny little chunks of fish maybe the palm of your hand sized for about $17 lol... so 4 arby fried fish chunks for like $5 is good #6. & 7 - very cool sunset colored sort of pink/yellow/orange flower I found growing wild in someone's yard #8. got as a gift from someone who got it for christmas but didn't really want it and asked if I did since everyone knows Im like The Person #Who's Obsessed With Cats out of any group of people.. but I still havent done it lol.. it just sits there gathering dust until I have #the time on top of my 600 other projects. Also I got my essay exam back today. Full points!!! Which was a surprise bc my 4th essay was definitely lower quality than the other three (bc I rushed it), but still good enough to get full points!!!!

Makes me wonder what that other one I spied being a 1 was like 🤔🤔🤔 bro was NOT good at writing I guess.

#speculation nation #weird grading scale. each essay was rated 0 thru 3. 0 being Real Bad or just plain wrong.#1 being Okay. 2 being Good. and 3 being Excellent. according to what my professor explained.#and all the points for all 4 essays were totaled. so since i got 3s on all 4 i got 12/12 points.#but he also said it's not like percentage based for the grades. 3s earn As 2s earn Bs and 1s earn Cs. presumably.#so even if u got a 4/12 thats not failing. still not very good tho.#i realized when i was writing that it really has been a while since ive done a proper essay. im a techie not a literature student.#i do scientific reports so much more than fucking Essays.#i tried to dust off the old skills tho and i guess i did pretty good overall. tho i wonder. it feels like he was pretty lax in grading.#bc im being honest my last essay was Not Good in structure. i was rushing bigtime. i just wanted it done.#but i guess bc i answered all the questions and was generally good at diction (creative writing Does help with this)#it was still good enough to be a 3. which makes me So Curious how bad that person did to get a 1......#i only caught a peek when i was grabbing mine. couldnt look too in depth.#ALSO THO tuesday's presenter got a 7.6 As Opposed To my 8.6!!! professor gave them a 7 (as opposed to my 8)#which makes me feel a little better about how i did. (this scale out of 9 lol). bc like. i did better than them at least!!#felt a lil bad for today's presenter. she was clearly getting kind of frazzled. it rly is hard to present for an hour.#we write out critiques for every presentation. stuff we liked and stuff we didnt. unfortunately i had criticisms to give 😔#but i try to sandwich it with good things too. so it's not All bad things. i still feel bad critiquing them #but such is the review expectations. i try to at least be fair about it.#(to clarify. grades arent announced to the class. i just sit right up front near where he puts the papers and im Nosy lol)
