         ❝ we stopped KYOUCHUL for an INTERVIEW before he entered the gala.               here is what he had to say — ❞ @elitesnews

i. it’s finally so nice to meet you ! how are you feeling tonight ?

❝ i'm feeling great. i think it will be nice to see everyone so unprofessionally ... i guess. ❞ that signature smile spreads on his lips as he blinks away the flash of a camera. chul is surely not used to this. he is normally surrounded by celebrities awaiting his next move with a brush in hand, but this time he is going to be walking among them. talk about a great topic for next week's youtube video.

ii. well, must feel such an honor to be here ! who are you wearing ? is there any special meaning behind your wardrobe choice ?

chul has never been one for brand names, so he doesn't know WHO he is wearing. does a makeup artist and lowkey stylist have to know that kinda stuff ?  a hum leaves his lips before he grins again and simply shrugs to say, ❝ i'm wearing me —— and i think you have seen enough of my instagram to know that this outfit costs more than mine and both of my neighbor's rents combined. ❞

iii. amazing, truly amazing ! who are you coming with ? is it a special someone ?

what a touchy question is all chul can think as he shrugs his shoulders again and leans towards the microphone. ❝ yeah, i came with my fenty beauty foundation and my dior lip gloss. they are pretty special to me. ❞

iv. any plans for after the gala ? we’re always hoping to see more of you, you know.

❝ oh yeah, in fact. ❞ chul then pauses to think about what he should say next. well, no, he pauses to think of a clever way to say he is going to go home, eat the rest of last night's takeout, and watch the new episode of love island that he recorded from the other night. but doesn't that sound a little ... lame ?  ❝ in fact, ❞ he starts again with a newfound energy, ❝ i'm going to go right back home and wash all this fenty beauty off my face. ❞

v. thoughts on what the special surprise might be tonight ?

❝ there is a special surprise ?  ❞ chul laughs, though nervously. he didn't hear anything about a special surprise and now he is kind of worried. but instead of looking like a complete dumbass in front of the camera, he leans back towards the microphone and says, ❝ next time give me a heads up, because i didn't smoke my eyeshadow out all the way. hopefully nobody will judge me. ❞

vi. lastly but not least, is there any special message you want to tell your fans or family at home ?

it is almost like a lightbulb goes off in chul's eyes when asked this question. ❝ this is the first big event i have been to in awhile and i always want to bring my little sister whenever i go because i know she would love to dress up and do her makeup. or, would love me to dress her up and do her makeup, ❞ chul cheeses, his baby sister's memory.

chul nods and gives the interviewer and the camera his best grin. teeth showing, he brushes back his faded dyed hair and then gives a small wave. ❝ thank you so much, i'll have fun as long as nobody spills a drink on me. ❞
