isn’t it sad how hard it is to have like... a good site for cataloguing art now

like for posting art; i was just going through the people i follow and there’s so many inactive artists and it feels so sad... twitter isn’t the same bc it’s just so fotm and there’s no actual tagging system, if you want to find anything ever again you have to save it yourself which no offense is kind of a pain

and dA is uhh *shoves to the side* and i guess there is idk, artstation? instagram? neither fill the same niche that it feels like tumblr does either... nor do they offer the whole ‘ramble in tags’ option. like half the fun here is just reading how people react in the tags, it’s like a whisper of appreciation that you can choose if you want to see (also i love screaming in the tags)
