There's going to be a LotR stage musical. Starting in Chicago, then starting on an international tour. Evidently it first came out in 2006, but I was in grad school then so I was under the most giant of cultural rocks, this is news to me!

I have no idea how they're going to pull this off, but I'm more than willing to spend money to see them try.
