Jim Pickens lore in point-form!

(Aka the CMK sims 4 series that ran from 2016-2022)

Recently I’ve noticed that newer CMK viewers don’t know the whole Jim Pickens universe lore so I’m going to explain it in the simplest way I can so they can know too :)

The story begins with Urp John. He moves into an apartment and has 6 kids with multiple women.

Jim Pickens moves in across from him and tries to get Urp to move in with him by attempting to kill off a household member.

Focus shifts to Jim.

Jim moves the family to the Sandtrap Flats, the first house in the series to feature a dungeon (called ‘chambers’ at this time).

To generate profit, he locks the family in the chambers and forces them to paint so Jim can later sell whatever they made. The only household members not in the chambers are the kids (Tim, Beejey and Urp’s kids). This is where the iconic Jim Pickens portrait comes from.

The cult unofficially forms. As members start to die, Jim begins taking an interest in the Grim Reaper.

Jim finds the Book of Chaos, which allowed him to kill people with magical abilities. He uses this to kill off rich families and inherit everything they owned as well as getting with the Grim Reaper.

Jim starts a graveyard business.

Jim and Grim officially become boyfriends. Grim moves in, gets pregnant and spawns Grimey. Grimey is given to another family in trade for Jules Cooper, Beejey’s boyfriend. Jules dies soon after.

Jim tries to kill Dennis Racket and pose as him but Dennis kept coming back. He was unkillable. But Jim bangs his wife anyways.

Jim robs people as Santa.

Jim opens a vet clinic and gets scarred for life by cursed dancing dogs. He also adopts a cat named Pumpkin during this time.

Beejey passes away and Jim goes on a jungle adventure to mourn his loss. Dennis also finally dies.

Jim moves to a new house with a proper dungeon and becomes a vampire.

Jim officially starts a cult, the same cult the fandom is.

Jim opens a joint restaurant/graveyard that only serves pufferfish. Many die.

Jim has a kid with Emma Racket, Dennis’ wife. His name is Project. He also became a cop briefly during this time. Weird era.

Jim dies and takes the universe with him so he jumps to an alternate timeline where he didn’t die.

Jim hosts a winter pool party. Many die and EA later patches this.

Jim kidnaps two Father Winters, Ryland and Clement. He tries to kill them but they cannot die, so instead they become permanent household members. One of them gets pregnant with aliens twins who end up being First Name and Second One.

Grim starts a painting club and Jim opens a store that sells the paintings. Jim also starts a band around the same time.

Jim goes to therapy and we learn about his past. Jim’s parents were Dick and Janice Pickens. He was forced to live in a closet, his parents didn’t care about him and his father was also a serial killer. Jim was taken away to military school due to the neglect.

What happens in between the sims 1 and sims 2 prequel videos is unknown and up to speculation. My theory is that it’s where he met Dennis, since they were around the same ages and were both taken from neglectful parents. Though Dennis turned out more stable and Jim was considered a lost cause because of his violent tendencies.

As a teen, Jim is somehow back in custody of his father and lives in a house with mole people in the walls. The moles are Mole1, Mole2 and Mole3. He tries to get a girlfriend but Dick kept throwing water balloons at her.

After therapy Jim becomes even more unhinged. Starts a YouTube channel and kills people on camera for content. He also did a twerking video.

Jim moved to his universe’s equivalent to LA and drives a man to suicide after ruining his life so he could inherit everything from him. Jim didn’t inherit anything from this.

Jim starts a content farm in his basement. Kevin totally isn’t a subject of it and this whole series isn’t just a documentary.

Jim opens a bar that doesn’t let people leave and he loses it. He starts killing people for simply existing and Grim stabs him to get him to stop. 💔

In attempt to fix his relationship with Grim, he goes camping with Grim but forgets he’s a vampire so it didn’t really work. So instead Jim cures his vampirism. Second One also drowns during this time.

Jim moves everyone into an abandoned prison and hosts a battle royale. Shrek wins and joins the household.

Jim falls in love with breadsticks and literally couldn’t let go of them.

The family moves to Strangerville and Jim becomes dedicated to solving the mystery of that town. He discovers the Mother Plant and is killed in battle against her.

Jim comes back as a ghost and defeats the Mother Plant. During Shrek’s sex dungeon era (that’s a weird sentence) Jim comes back to life. A miracle!

Jim somehow goes to the future to chase after his father who had gone there. Jim gets a bunch of half-siblings and Dick gets a boyfriend; Mole4.

Back in the present time, Jim becomes a merman and he’s absolutely beautiful. First Name also becomes a drug lord and they smuggle drugs across borders together.

Jim and Grim get married and Jim’s last name briefly changes to Reaper.

Jim starts a gang and goes to war with another gang. It ends with the other gang dying and Jim going to prison for once. They finally got him.

Once he was out of prison, the zombie apocalypse starts and Jim starts a restaurant that serves human flesh to accommodate the zombies. Jim also makes the two Santa’s fight to the death. Clement was the winner, he eats Ryland. Dick and Mole4 now join the family.

Jim goes to the magic realm and learns more magic. He uses the magic to terrorize other families and moves into a new house he killed the previous members of.

Dick declares himself as King and starts making people pay taxes to him. Jealous, Jim kills Dick for the title and doesn’t do anything with it. He was just fed up with Dick’s bs.

Jim goes to university. He becomes the worst landlord and also gets pregnant along with a few others. His child’s name is Aaaahhhhhh.

After that he moves the family again and tries to get as many people as he can to live in one tiny house. First Name dies and comes back as a demon to forever haunt Jim and terrorize the land.

To escape First Name, the Pickens family now lives in a bunker. Jim tries to enforce the “nobody can go outside” rule by locking people inside their homes.

Jim launches a nuke and destroys that section of the world because the people were annoying him. He is now the only remaining family member, besides Grim.

Jim meets Turg and the two team up to become the ultimate crime-causing duo, even if Turg doesn’t want to admit it. The two rob several homes with Turg as the distraction and Jim doing all the robbing.

Jim starts a knitting business with someone who won the lottery. Default joins the family.

Jim goes to the Star Wars. Idk if this is canon or not.

The cult compound is now here. Kevin only does one video on it despite streaming the building of it for hours. Nice.

Jim, Turg and Default go on a winter vacation to the mountains. Jim ages into an old sim and loses his sparkle 💔

Jim and Turg move into a haunted house together and Jim takes on several new jobs such as paranormal investigator, house renovator and murder speedrunner. Jim dies of old age during this time but comes back.

Jim starts an industrial farm, Turg is there too but he starts becoming irrelevant after this 💔

After dying to pufferfish, a clone of Jim shows up and Jim kills him.

Jim starts kidnapping people and making them play sick twisted games that results in people’s deaths solely for his own amusement. Karma catches up to him and he is shot.

Jim starts going absolutely insane. Even more than before. He spawns 100 babies, goes through strange changes and gets stuck in an apartment with 99 other people. Turg dies off-screen during this time.

Jim marries someone and that is the last we see him. That’s the end of the story.

I don’t think the current sims 4 series is canon to this one. It’s separate.

I would like to have a discussion on the drawback of Jimin. I’m new to the fandom but even before I joined I distinctly remember the name Jimin.

I was a 1D fan and Jimin was all up on my YouTube. I remember watching his compilations before I could even tell the band members apart.

Anyway flash forward and that same Jimin is what has me joining a tumblr space to share my woes. Why?

Because I genuinely care for the guy. Like if something were to happen to him I’d cry. I resonate with his albums. Appreciate his music and I feel proud seeing how his voice has improved.

I don’t feel the need to be up in his private life but I still like to know he’s okay once in a while.

He is kind of like an acquaintance.

Anyway, I feel it’s important others know, as a past local, that Jimin knows how to shine.

This guy is smart, he knows himself and he knows his charms and if he WANTED to, he would.

No one can ignore Jimin. Everything about him stands out: his looks, his voice, his charms, his dance.

My take on FACE as someone in marketing: it’s poor marketing.

Hybe knows how to market.

You don’t become a multibillion dollar company and not have a marketing team.

My take on the marketing strategy: Use Jimin to draw the public eye, then as a ladder to push the other artists up.

Did I miss anything? Maybe it was such a whirlwind.

Anyway I give the marketing of FACE a 5/10. Nice buildup but chaotic/ crazy at the end.

Listening to Jimin I realize he’s very humble and hardworking.

he’s the kind of person that you can’t help but praise, and that stirs jealousy.

his members praise him, the persons who work with him praise him, his fans consistently praise him, his friends praise him, he’s even made an impact on his tattooist.

locals praise him. But he also stands out too much. Like from a marketing POV, JK is much safer? Even look at reactors, they feel so strongly toward Jimin that they have to preface: I’m straight blah blah whilst the others it’s just “yeah I like RM, JK/V”

I don’t know how to describe it. Jimin is so unique he’s controversial.

I could be watching a BTS video with a muggle and they recognize no one but the “guy who looks like a girl”, then all of a sudden we’re in a conversation about their sexuality .

it’s kind of frustrating, and annoying….so most Jimin fans are understandably silent. Especially with this influx of jealousy and hate

But what is silence? Silence is not good for data.

so what does hybe marketing team see? A whole lot of jungkook and tae

Jungkook and Tae on instagram. Jk and Tae on TikTok. Jk and Tae topping google searches. JK especially

so they likely conclude, we should make JK our pushed product. Because they can’t afford to push everybody.( or can they?)

And then, what happens? Jimin who’s been basically working with his in-house producers this whole time comes and pushes the competition out the water by topping the billboard, AS A DEBUT, with a song in KOREAN.(again the man isn’t safe lol)

I can’t describe to you how mindboggling this is. If I was a marketer I would have been shocked and realized that, Jimin has a silent fanbase but a highly engaged fanbase.

There is a reason Tiffany and Dior wanted him. A highly engaged fanbase is more likely to spend money, while a bigger but less engaged fanbase is good for mass appeal( say Calvin Klein)

A highly engaged which is so much more important imo. That is the foundation BTS propelled itself off of. That means you just need proper promotion, his silent fanbase just need to find the courage to speak and share and you have a force.

The issue? Jimin’s fans are silent because Jimin is silent. They were loud when Jimin was loud, locals couldn’t stop hearing Jimin. They subconsciously follow what Jimin wants, and maybe, like many others, they probably feel Jimin isnt ready to shake up the whole world yet as a solo artist yet.

and he made it clear he isn’t. He made the album to get it off his chest, and is basically saying he does NOT want to outshine his band members. (JM: I know you love me but remember BTS is first everyone)

so Jimin fans are basically stuck supporting his music and sticking with the ot7 till another time.

but I want to say to all Jimin fans, with that #1 on Billboard you made a statement. There’s a reason kpoppies are all up in your grill. There’s a reason Hybe is putting more focus on the other members. There’s a reason Jimin is not promoting himself that much.

cause they know, they all know. Even Jimin himself knows he’s a force to be reckoned with. The man just wants to chill as a member of the band for now, but continue reminding him and the company time and time again that he has the potential to shake up the industry .

Perhaps Jimin does want to do things quietly or perhaps not. But I don't want him to ever think that he is not enough for us and therefore we didn't do enough for him.

So let's follow what this anon is saying. Stream his music, give views to his MVs and fancams, engage with any content that has Jimin like Tiffany, Dior, naver articles, all of that.

We will see what happens in the future but for now, this is what we do.

Jimin deserves the world.

I swear I’m writing the fic- but more thoughts about it while I write~!!

I think that since they’re real people in this universe their ship names would change. Real-people fandoms seem to use their actual names fused together, so that’s how I think it would work in this au (meaning instead of gimmickshipping they’d be called like Reimaser or smth because I think that’s funny!!

Also yeah, Reiji and Thomas WOULD use their names or Thomas would at least have it somewhat public despite going by IV, but Ryoken is only known as Revolver. I just think that fits him better.

Anyway I also love assigning people emojis so here’s me doing that for just a few characters:

IV : 🪆OR 🧵 (The doll because like that’s sort of his puppet thing? I don’t have a puppet emoji so :/. The thread is symbolic of strings- like puppet strings. I don’t really know with him. His I did last and I feel least confident about).

Reiji : 📏 (Businessman!! I think this one was probably Thomas’ fault, he probably used this at one point in his videos and accidentally locked the fandom onto it).

Revolver : 🔫 (Revolver. Gun. Thank you).

Nasch : 👑 (Because he’s a king.. also Thomas HATES that he got this so much. There is so much beef between them for awhile but no one knows why. They settle it eventually off camera and come back way more chill with each other but neither will give a proper explanation as to why, so their followers are left scrambling).

Yuya : ✨ (Yes okay I get that he’s a tomato, but like I think a star/shine would just fit him better? Especially since in this au he’d be like a performer or someone who does tricks- but I could see a tomato so.. 🍅).

Additionally about Thomas in this au:

Thomas is a YouTuber/streamer. He started with gaming content and kept his persona very gentlemanly and polite. He got extremely popular, though more so with men who were interested in that sort of good-guy stuff. This devolved into him starting to show more of a sadistic side and collabing with other creators (Nasch, Kaito, etc) then pulling in their followers a bit. This developed into him somewhat coming out? I think he’d do it in a quiet way in some sort of unpopular podcast or something that makes it ambiguous to what he actually is but also hints at it.

This leads to a bunch of queer people coming into his community seeing as he’s like- one of them haha. He starts doing more daily/vlog type things.

So how I actually am writing him:

He’s a bit more calm around the two of them (Reiji + Ryoken) I think because he almost sort of has to be the one to keep them on a straight path. Both are very headstrong and get lost in other things so he has to lead them to where they’re going- otherwise they completely devolve into some other random thing.

He’s also a mix of gentlemanly yet manic. He’s not completely one way or another, and he can play up either side when it comes down to it.

Anyway.. just some thoughts haha

So taking after @thebeessnz and @softsnzstuff , thought I’d write a little bit about myself! I’ve been on tumblr since 2010 but have had this specific tumblr since 2017. My main blog is @officialvicesandvirtues ! Here are some things people don’t really know about me-

I was born in Russia but was adopted and brought to the states when I was a year old, so I don’t remember anything about it. I do however still try to keep some of my culture, and I have a matryoshka doll tattoo.

Aside from ST, I’ve been on a large Big Mouth kick recently. Also enjoy Schitt’s Creek, Queer Eye (w my Antoni fics rip), And House. My first ever fandoms were Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter, both of which I still am into.

Hot Take #666: Adults CAN’T be groomed.

Content Warning: Mentions of grooming and methods of grooming. For some context, I’m sure this is no secret by this point, but my interaction with communities are not limited to the Sims community. Sometimes I run my roots through the RWBY community, I run my own community in the Borderlands fandom. My tumblr account dates back to my interest in the Final Fantasy 10 community, and while there isn’t really much of one to begin with, I do partly exist within what little of a community exists behind an obscure anime known as Fairy Gone. But the community I tend to most find myself involved in, so much that it actually weirdly enough worked in my favor during the hilarious accusations that myself and Mack were the same person, I used to be so involved with the commentary community that I, back in 2019-2020, did commentaries myself before I subsequently stopped for a slue of reasons, mainly the inability to produce videos efficiently. So why does the commentary community matter in this particular case? Well not much, but not to name names, because I like this creator, and you can disagree with someone and not hate their guts (Foreign concept to the sims community, I know.) But a creator with 100k subs on YouTube that I follow fairly closely had the take that Adults, yes, Grown ass, legally able to vote adults, can be groomed. And here’s what I have to say to that. No. Just No. I’ve already put my view on this in this content creator’s comment section, but I mainly wanted to make this post because surprisingly, this is not the first time I’ve heard people with this take, and here’s why this take is hot garbage.  Adults can’t be groomed. It’s that simple. Here’s a copy paste of the comment I posted. Admittedly, don't really care much for the comment about adults being groomed. A statement like that takes agency and responsibility away from adults who have the choice to say yes or no as opposed to children who can't say yes to begin with. Does that mean adults in similar situations can't be victims? Of course not, but at that point, the most proper term for it would be manipulation because it doesn't infantize them nor does it conflate the level of power they have over the situation as adults to that of a child who has little to no power to make those decisions for themselves where as an adult can. I've seen too many times where adults claim to be "groomed" in accusations that are as simple as the adults having a terrible and toxic relationship that was consensual on both parts, but the party claiming to be groomed using that sort of accusation to absolve themselves of their decision to be in that relationship in the first place. Grooming in terms of allegations have always been used to describe the victims as children, and it should stay as such.

Would like to add onto this comment that wasn’t included is that for the aforementioned reasons stated in that comment, making statements of “Adults being groomed” is harmful towards Victims of Child Sexual Assault(CSA)/Child Sexual Harassment(CSH) because it takes the focus of humanity’s most vulnerable and puts the spot light on people who realistically should be held accountable for their own actions. It also downplays the severity of grooming and the implications behind it as well as misuses it and falsely accuses someone of being a predator who would otherwise just be at worst a garbage human being who treats their partners like garbage and who deserves to be called out for specifically what they did, or at best, just a relationship that gone real wrong, and an angry ex decided that ruining their former partner’s life with false predator accusations is the way to go and not at all petty or harmful to those who have or do experience real grooming. Ultimately what it comes down to, if you’re a grown ass adult who holds these beliefs and you even slightly care about victims of CSA/CSH, maybe don’t say this shit because it’s harmful and just blatantly wrong, uneducated, and ignorant.

This is a roleplay blog. The character in question is my Original Character for SQUARE ENIX’s critically acclaimed MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV: ONLINE. His name is ANGELUS DESDEMONA.

I’m all caught up with MAIN SCENARIO quests and SIDE QUESTS, so this profile will not be spoiler free. I’ll do my best to tag nevertheless.

Y/AU/N - Your Among Us Name

I settle in my gaming chair, adjusting my webcam one last time before joining the Among Us lobby with my friends. 

“Hi everyone!“ I say into the mic, a smile plastering itself on my face. Discord is a magical thing, man. It’s so easy to forget that the people you are talking to aren’t around you or within arm’s reach. You could be separated by miles and miles of land or - in our case - oceans as well. Distance becomes negligible when you hear your friends’ voices, their laughter; when you have a good time together despite being each behind a screen, often times alone.

Well, I’m one of those lucky ones that isn’t alone. No one knows that, though. Everyone thinks I’m a single, self-employed girl that’s straight out of college. And they are 90% right. Only thing is - I’m not single. That would be a shocker in and of itself, but revealing who’s changed my relationship status would be a bomb with a whole new intensity.

Speaking of my significant other who shall remain unnamed - just kidding, it’s Corpse - his form materializes in the doorway of my recording room. I give him a hand signal the camera isn’t able to capture, alerting him of the fact that my mic is on. He replies by blowing me a kiss and walking off down the hall to his recording room where he’ll be stationed for the next three or so hours.

I owe this relationship to my best friend Sykkuno. I’m a pretty new and not very well known on the platform, however, thanks to him I haven’t only obtained a boyfriend, but a following of a little over million subscribers as well. 

It all started with an invitation to fill a spot in the Among Us lobby him and his friends had created. It took him quite a bit to convince me to join, but I eventually caved and agreed. Suddenly, there I was. In a Discord call, in an Among Us lobby with some of the most well-known names on this platform. I’m talking YouTube legends. I was that puppy playing with the big dogs. The newbie tagging along with the big leagues. Or at least that’s how I felt until we all started vibing - talking and teasing each other as though we’ve known each other for years and not minutes.

When I joined the call, Corpse wasn’t present. After everyone else introduced themselves, Sykkuno informed me that we were waiting for Corpse to return. The name sounded really cool to me and I was genuinely very excited to meet this Corpse guy.

And then, out of the blue - no prep, no warning...

“Did you get someone to fill the spot? Oh- Hello, Y/AU/N.“ 

…he started talking and he had me star-struck. Apparently, he also had me a blabbering mess cause I remember blurting out: “Whoa, who’s this guy speaking in bold and underlined at the same time?”

The entire lobby, including Corpse, laughed. Sean, or Jack like they called him most often, answered my question, “That is the voice of God, Y/N. Its source is named Corpse, though.”

Heat spread from the bottom of my neck to the tips of my ears. I was mortified by my own stupidity. I was well aware they couldn’t see me and I was incredibly thankful for that, but I simply could not get myself to open my eyes. “I’m so sorry.” I said through nervous laughter.

“No, no, I like that description. Bold and underlined at the same time, huh?“ His voice sounded even more pleasant when it had that teasing, mischievous note to it. That thought popping up in my head only made things worse for my self-esteem and only made me more embarrassed, causing me to hide my face in my hands. “You sure it’s not in Italics as well?“ 

His question got a weak laugh out of me. “Nope, definitely not. Nothing Italic about it.“

Yes, I don’t even know how some terrible jokes about MS Word fonts got me as far as a romantic relationship, but they did! We’ve been living together for quite some time now, dating for even longer - hiding it just as long. It’s not that we have been actively trying to hide it or something, we just wanted to see how long it would take someone to become sus of us. When we realized no one would notice, we decided that if any rumors about us started, or even fans shipping us, we’d come clean. That hasn’t happened either, so we haven’t had the proper chance to address our relationship and neither of us minds.

At this point, I’m honestly afraid of revealing it to the gaming squad. Sykkuno especially. He’s my best friend, after all. I can see him being hurt by the fact that I kept a secret so big even from him. The last thing I wanna do is hurt my best friend but it’s already too late for that, it’s inevitable.

“Y/N have you looked at Twitter today?“ Rae, another streamer I’ve become close with over the months, says urgently.

Overlooking the tension in her words, I answer: “Nope, haven’t had the time. Why? What’s up?“

Before Rae can say anything else, Sykkuno joins the conversation, his voice somehow even more urgent than Rae’s. “It’s nothing, Y/N. If you see it, just don’t let it bother you, ok?”

Hearing such a tone from Rae isn’t unusual, but hearing it from Sykkuno is completely different and a lot more worrisome. “Well if it has the potential of bothering me it can’t be nothing. What’s going on?”

Just then, my phone dings with two notifications. I check to see they are messages from Rae.

“I sent you screenshots. Sorry, Sykkuno. She has to know in order to address it and defuse it as well. I know better than anyone how fast these rumors can spread, especially if no one reacts to them.“ She says, her tone barely apologetic at all.

I open the screenshots she has sent me and I find myself frozen in shock. Some old pictures of Sykkuno and I have been posted on Twitter by some random user. These pictures have started an entire thread of suspicions surrounding our relationship.

The pictures in question are from a New Year’s Eve party a mutual friend of ours held two years ago. Sure, in the pictures we are a lot closer than what would be considered a platonic proximity. And yes one of the pictures is of me kissing his cheek. Yes we were both a bit tipsy. I acknowledge all those things and yet none of them are concrete reasons for these rumors to have started piling. 

“This is silly.“ I finally say after maybe five minutes of silence on my end. ”This is absolutely ridiculous! And why are people so serious about it as well? Actual, important matters get discussed more nonchalantly than the potential relationship between two online personalities! What is this world we live in?“ I know I shouldn’t let these rumors get to me like this, especially not on camera. Still, I can’t help it. I feel it’s so unfair to Corpse. He has to put up with this as well and it’s by no means easy for him. I’ve been shipped with people from our group in the past and he always took those rumors to heart despite acting like he didn’t care. Neither of us should get worked up, but him getting upset about them creates a domino effect with my emotions - causing me to be hit just as hard as him, in some cases harder.

Rumors of the past aside, this one is the worst by far. Mostly cause even Corpse himself suspected something between Sykkuno and I at the very beginning, when we were still acquaintances, barely crossing into the realm of friends.

I pull up Twitter to look for the whole thread, barely sparing my stream chat a glance in the process. It seems pretty split - those who agree with me and those who think Sykkuno and I make ‘such an adorable couple’. The thread is ridiculously long, and if we take into account that it was only started approximately five hours ago, you can either view it as impressive, amusing or sad. Why sad? Because someone has dedicated so much time and effort into fueling the fire of a weakly supported theory.

I love Sykkuno with all my heart. Everyone knows that - fandom, streamer squad, Corpse and Sykkuno included. I love too much and too platonically to ever even dream of having a romantic connection with him. I thought that was more than obvious, but people are either blind here, or just grasping at straws. One thing’s for certain - they’re stepping on a nerve.

“Hey where’s Corpse? Did he disconnect?” Felix asks, gaining my full attention. My eyes dart to the monitor, searching through the little avatars in a desperate search for the one of my boyfriend. It’s nowhere to be found.

“He just messaged me saying his connection is unstable but he might join us later.“ Rae says, “You guys can invite someone to fill...“

“Bathroom break.“ I interrupt, not waiting for a response before shutting my mic off, putting the ‘BRB‘ graphic on my stream and yanking the headset off. I basically run down the hall to Corpse’s recording room, my heart pounding like a bass drum.

“Corpse?!“ I call out to him, one hand already on the doorknob. When five seconds pass by without a response, I barge in. 

Inside, I find his usual spot on the gaming chair empty and his slumped figure seated on his bed.

“Corpse?“ I try again, watching for even the tiniest change of body language. He remains still as a statue, not bothering to look up at me either. 

His hands are gripping the edge of the mattress, his head hanging low. His eyes are covered by the short curtain of his dark messy curls. I can’t gauge much. Is he angry? Is he sad? Both? How should I approach the situation?

Before I find the answer to any of those questions, I am kneeling in front of him, our height difference eliminated. I gently pry his hands off the mattress and take them in mine, holding them firmly but tenderly. With one hand I reach up to tilt his head so his eyes can meet mine. He complies, his tear-filled brown orbs meeting mine. Those tears have the same effect on me as fifty sharp knives stabbing into my chest. These tears focus their attack straight on my heart, tearing it to pieces.

“Baby....“

He cuts me off, “Why is it always someone else, huh? Do they deem me not worthy of being with you? Do they think you deserve better?” His voice wavers, “Well, they might be right. They are correct and there’s little I can do to prove them wrong. They mean you well, Y/N - pairing you with guys better than me. Those are some loyal fans you’ve got. They only want what’s best for you. And so do I. If ‘best’ is being with someone else then...”

It’s my turn to cut him off. I put an end to his nonsense ramble that’s slowly killing me by pressing my finger against his lips. The sternness of my gaze is beyond me as I get up and walk over to his computer setup. I put on his headset and hop into the call as well as the lobby with his avatar.

“Hey Corpse’s back!” Toast says, “Good to have you back buddy.”

“No, not Corpse.” I say in a casual, nonchalant voice.

“Wait, wha-“ Sean’s voice shows just how confused he is, representing the confusion of the entire lobby actually.

“I know all of you are streaming so this message will be heard by several different audiences so I’m gonna make myself perfectly clear.“ I take a deep breath, “Sykkuno and I aren’t dating. He’s a lovely guy and he deserves to find a girl who will treat him right. That girl isn’t and won’t be me though. I am already treating someone right. Someone who treats me more than right as well. An amazing person. A man-child with a heart of gold. You know him, to a certain extent. He goes by the name of Corpse Husband, but I prefer to call him ‘Love of my life’. Thank you for your time and attention, goodbye.“

I exit the call and turn around to find a stunned Copse looking at me.

“That was meant for you just as much.“ I say with a fake strict attitude, one hand on my hip the other rested on his desk behind me, “Were you listening?“

Within milliseconds, he’s on his feet standing directly in front of me, his lips inches away from mine. “I heard and memorized every word. But...” he pauses for a moment, “I think you have no idea how big of a chaos you just created.”

I smile mischievously, “We’ll worry about that later. For now...” I close the gap between us, connecting our lips in a sweet and passionate kiss.

both fandoms love you two so dearly that the only hate you two got were from the delusional ones (who clearly aren’t actual fans)

he got flashbacks from when you cried during the final episode of produce 48 and he’s just.. sobbing bc he couldn’t be there to hold you

and both you and riki being main dancers, you were asked to do random dance together

a few popular songs played and the both of you did the choreos

until after school started playing and the boy did the chorus’ choreo and you were like “woah???”

bc he was so INTO ITTTT

the song was basically made for him to cover it

and the mcs saw your reaction so they asked him to do it once again but this time with the whole group

after filming, he came up to you and was like “i’m a huge fan of yours” and you’re just like ):&/£]>\**_£]

and his face just lights up bc his huge crush on you developed even more

you became besties since then but he didn’t ask you out until your birthday

he took you out to a puppy café, knowing you were obsessed with dogs

melted at the thought of traveling to his hometown with you

once you left the café, he kissed you in front of your dorms

riki as a bf isn’t really a very public person

he’s the “this is our relationship, not the public’s” type of person

he doesn’t wanna risk companies wanting to exploit your relationship

although he doesn’t talk about you two much, he loves to brag about you when given the chance

whenever variety show hosts would fawn over you he’d just look them in the eyes dead and go “she’s mine”

This ending .... I can name 500 reasons and I will name them right now, because I don’t think I’m the only one who is upset with how things turned out. (Also, A positive message for all of you at the end)

MAJOR LEAKS SPOILERS/ READ WITH CAUTION

Update: after reading more theories from fellow RM bloggers, and sleeping over it one day, this entire chapter might be an april fools... Don't fully lose hope yet beautiful people. It's me just giving a review on a possible fake April fools chapter

After following this franchise since 2013, so nearly a DECADE. this ending is a pure disserve to the entire fandom. I feel like Yams has rushed it just for the sake of being done with the entire manga. So many things are left open, characters and their developemt are reverted back all the way to chapter 1 or are left even worse than that...

Mikasa’s worthless character development/ Aaronmika’s horrible toxic codependent relationship 

Oh honey... Let’s start with how horrible Isayama has treated her. We were all rooting for her, because we all felt like she was so misunderstood. She had a horrible childhood and imprinted on a guy who treated her like trash 99 percent of the story. And then, slowly but surely, she starts to realize she has to stop obsessing over him in the uprising arc with the help of a real man who treats her like a queen, more importantly, he treats her like a real human being. This man sees her for her abilities and that she has the power to be self dependent. She learned parts of herself, that she was able to work together with him like no one else could.  She learned parts of herself she was unable to do so if she kept obsessing about Aaron. All this love, care, mutual understanding and RESPECT these two shared. 

but...NAH FUCK THAT, right Yams?? Throw all this development away, all this bonding. Let’s make the main female lead even more yandere than she already was in the first season. Let her make out with his decapacitated head (like dude, this is also pure disrespect to Aaron’s dead body btw) and let her obsess even more about the guy who has treated her no better than a piece of toilet cloth 99 percent of the time. The guy who was never really appreciative in front of her for saving his ass billions of times, who always pushed her away, who yells at her and snaps at her whenever he can instead of reasoning and talking calmly with her in mature way. (EVEN PARODY YOUTUBE CHANNELS WHO DONT SHIP ANYTHING MAKE IT A TROPE WHERE AARON TELLS MIKASA HE HATES HER GUTS WHENEVER HE CAN) 

Then after all that, suddenly Yams tries to last minute persuade us Aaron’s always been head over heels for her???  He should have build their relationship better which he hasn’t even tried to do so... He must be thinking his fans are stupid for eating this from his hands.    

Like seriously??? What is this??? 

Isayama is just fully contradicting himself. It’s like someone tipped him off with a buttload of money for him to write Aaron like this to satisfy shipping needs and to cash in those extra money’s from it. Even if he tried to cater to Erem*ika, this is not how you write a loving and caring couple which people will root for. 

This next two panels just freaking infuriates me to the core of my soul. I can’t even describe how dissapointed I am with Mikasa. 

Why is she clutching that head so obsessively like that?  Why is she walking and turning her back away from her comrades? After everything they have done for her, after all they’ve been through?! After everything Armin has done? Standing up for Mikasa, beating up Aaron for hurting her. I feel like even Jean, Connie and Sasha have cared more for her in a healthy way.  Sure, Aaron cares for her romantically too apparently (What a twist Yams :)), but has he aided her to becoming a mentally healthier individual? Has he aided in her mental stability? The answer is a big fat NO!  All I see between these two after today’s raw Chapter’s are too Yandere obsessed individuals who have no clue on how to maintain a healthy relationship. 

Love should only go as far as the heart can endure and it seems like her character is not willing to be aware of that. Even Armin was able to let go of Aaron in those latest panels. Why does her entire character resolve around this guy??? I really do not understand. Her Ackerbond and her age is not an excuse for her to throw her life away like this. 

Shonen’s disgusting portrayal of women 

I’ve seen this countless of times in the many years I’ve watched anime. SasuS*ku from Naruto, Ichih*me from Bleach, Shinji and that oranged hair girl from Neon Evangelion.. Why do these women get decreased to simpletons with one single goal? And that is to obsess over a bland male lead who either treats them like trash or doesn’t notice them up until the last last chapter (LITERALLY WHAT YAMS HAS DONE). Some go even as far as the male leading wanting the kill the female love interest and yet the female lead is still in love with them???. It’s disgusting for him to write the MAIN female character this way. 

It’s dissapointing we believed in Isayama doing Mikasa’s character right. That she’s finally being able to let go of her codependency and to live for herself maybe live in Hizuru and find more about her roots???, but every single time she shows some improvement, it’s burried deep in the ground again by the Author. It almost seems like a lowkey kink of some of the male Mangaka’s to write about a girl obsessing over them no matter what. I see this so many times to the point that I truly stand behind it that some of them might have this fantasy. 

I wished he didn’t portray her last panels like this. Everyone else is living their lives while Mikasa is still grieving about him. I’m not saying she’s not allowed to grieve and everyone takes it at their own pace, but cmon... Show her living her life too. This is too much. Her being next to his grave and grieving him as her last panels just shoves it in our faces that YET AGAIN, BEING OBSESSED WITH AARON IS ALL HER CHARACTER STANDS FOR. 

I truly despise how Isayama handles her grieving, kissing his decapacitated head, carrying it around like some handbag, and her last panels being thissss.

The world leaving Paradis alone miraciously after all that??? 

It’s so weird and out of place with so many political feuds and disagreements between the world and Paradis, the entire Rumbling happening and we can see Mikasa just chilling outside in Paradis with no one bothering them. You can see the rings of the walls in the picture below.  I don’t know the exact reason behind as the manga is still in Korean, but from what I see, the story went the route of: throwing a happy ending without enough proper reason and  it was all fixed just like that in a snap! It doesn’t fit the entire narrative of attack on titan for things to be so peacful out of nowhere. When it comes to the narrative, how things work in that world, how hard it is to achieve peace, everything made somewhat sense up until chapter 138. 139 seems so so out of place...  It’s like I’m reading a chapter from a totally different manga. 

Aaron Yoghurt got defeated so easily/ Aaron’s character assassination

The build up on the first part of the rumbling was great, those kids carrying coins. You could feel humanity’s fear and Aaron’s hatred in those pages. As if he truly had a goal and he has turned away completely from his comrades and his closest friends with no return. The world seemed truly doomed, but he  got defeated just like that. He was in the nape all this time (because screw the warhammer power of hiding yourself elsewhere in his ginormous titan body). There is no master plan as we all expected, and in the end he just acts all yandere in the paths with Armin and that’s it... They massacared his entire character as well. Many fan theories created a better ending with his character. Him being reincarnated as Historia’s baby would be so much better. For him to still keep on seeking and to strive for power. It has always been his motive. It’s his personality from the start until chapter 138. Even if things are okay, to keep on going and to seek that adventure, but then.. He’s so weak and directionless suddenly.. It’s so weird... This is not Aaron at all???

Historia’s baby 

The only panel we got from Historia’s child was this. Just a normal kid, normal life... Why did Isayama put so much effort in highlighting Historia’s pregnancy if it was nothing too spectacular anyway? It seemed he had major plans for this kid and for their development too??? It’s again, big plans, big developments, big relationship dynamic, but all  got thrown out of the window... 

Don’t read the next sentence if you are a minor :’) 

It’s like almost ejaculating, but stopping right before it and repeating that every single Arc.

My energy when writing about this chapter is the same as Nostalgia Critic and his hatred for atla the live action

In Conclusion...

I know us fans should not be deciding on how this story should end, because this is Isayama’s story after all, but I truly wished for him to wrap up things much more rounded. There are so many unanswered questions... Again, I think for the sake of being done with this manga, he rushed all of it. He’s become a millionaire from this story and now his pockets are jammed full, I guess he doesn’t need to put in any effort anymore, right? Perhaps a controversial opinion, but I really wished he cared for his fans a little bit more with this last chapter by giving some answers that make sense at least. It’s his fans who gave him this platform and the opportunity to tell his story and for him to at least give in a bit of effort especially in the last chapter is the least he can do. Rivamika being canon or not, he truly rushed it without thinking much about the entire story line. He expanded it so much, he didn’t know how to bind it all together.

Even after all this, I’ll still ship them in the headcanon type of way. I do give credit to Isayama for giving us a template for such a beautiful dynamic between Levi and Mikasa. He decides to waste it, but that doesn’t mean we have to.  I want to thank all the people with amazing writing skills, the ones who give us beautiful art like @carmenlee @phit chan @vialesana​ and many more. I want to remind all of you that we can create something beautiful of our own and we don’t neccesarily need canon lore for that. The art I’ve seen, the fanfictions I’ve read have touched me deeper than Isayama ever could at times.The Mikasa in our mind is appreciate of Levi, is mature, classy and has a strong will for herself. They spend their remaining days together peacefully. Keep writing, keep drawing, stay creative. 

I love you all so so much, I’ve only been publicly active since March, but thank you Rivamika fandom for giving me so much joy as a lurker these past 7 years <3

Since it was night, he went to bed early as all his missions were done. Your words still linger in his mind, playing on repeat, never stopping.

Like most humans, you had a sense of what was wrong and right. But unlike others who accept what they are, you didn’t. You wanted to change. Something he never understood. He thought, if you were here for him, maybe things would be better. But you left.

but you don’t agree.

Akutagawa had never cared whether he saved or killed people, as long as he was powerful in the eyes of others, if they feared him even a little bit, he could still survive this hell of a life. You never agreed with his ways though, you always tried to help others. Always trying to put their needs ahead of yours. He hated that so much, you were valued more than them, why didn’t you see it?

He saw the look in your eyes whenever he killed or hurt someone, eyes full of pity for them, the innocent. But then you changed your expression with a worried one and suddenly took his hand, “Hey Aku! You got hurt, I told you to be careful..”

“I am fine! I told you” He growled in order to not show his vulnerable side, he could never.

You looked at him, almost unaffected by how much he shouted and pulled him away.

“You dummy, shut up, we need to treat you”

He never understood your kindness, the fact that you were never scared by him. It confused him to no end, “Ryunosuke Akutagawa… When are you going to stop doing such reckless acts? Sometimes you need to care about yourself”

Why did you care in the first place? He kept pushing you away yet you insisted on staying.

But now you are really gone. Gone from the Port Mafia to god knows where, he hated it so much. Why did you let him open up if you were going anyways? What was so wonderful about being good? It never mattered in the end, people either would remember you when you died or forget you. Nothing would really matter whatever you did in life.

by our memories that you went and tossed away

yet you say I'm the one to blame.

It was all your fault, what did you even do to him? He never asked for the warm feeling he got in his heart whenever you greeted him, the weird tingly feeling in his stomach whenever you both had eye contact nor the urge to smash his lips against yours when you gave him a soft smile.

Why did you leave him? He wanted to know the proper reason. You left him without any explanation and that killed him inside.

Was he the one at fault? Did you not approve of the way he was? He knew he was imperfect, everyone said so. But no one gave him the explanation as to why, it drove him mad at how everyone left him. He just wanted to be left alone, he didn’t understand the need to come to him if they left.

I still feel the ghosts of your embrace,

in your bed, there’s empty space.

no one can replace.

He huddled up the space in his bed, he remembered how you used to stay at his home sometimes, always ‘bothering’ him and hanging out with him. How clingy you used to be sometimes yet he let you. There were many subordinates that died during missions, they got replaced almost as if they were nothing, yet you were a type of person who could never be replaced. No matter how hard they tried.

I remember

all those years ago

you were the shining star, crushing me below.

It was almost funny for him, you were part of the executives even before him, yet your caring and empathetic nature almost made it surprising that you were, surprising that you were here, why were you in the port mafia in the first place? It almost made him wonder what happened in your past that caused all this.

now things are different

but I stand alone

maybe I would have left

if I had known.

But it didn’t matter, it still hurt when Mori or any other member took your name, reminding him of the huge impact you had left. Your dangerous yet amazing nature leaving everyone’s heart a little empty, because they all really liked you and dared to not defy you.

Yet, the last thing he ever asked for had happened. During a mission a little far away from Yokohama, he really did bump into you.

He grunted in annoyance as he got up and just was about to remark on how you should watch your steps, but the shock stopped him.

You weren’t ready for this sudden meeting either, you spent so much time getting over your past, getting over him. Now he was here, in front of you, probably mad. Sudden guilt hit you as you tried to play it normal.

“O-Oh hello Akutagawa, what a surprise to see you here…”

“..Yeah”

“Listen I.. I am really sorry–”

No, an apology wasn’t what he wanted. He wanted to know the reason why. He balled his fists in frustration, you were acting like a whole different person and he hated it. It was almost as if you didn’t know who you were, or maybe, was it the real you that he could never see?

“Why?” He asked, trying not to cry but somehow a huge lump started forming in his throat. He wasn’t used to such overwhelming emotions, so many at once was too much for him. He wasn’t sure how to react, he couldn’t act as if nothing happened, he was mad, sad, confused, happy – everything at once. You had always managed to break his walls down, but this time he wouldn’t show it, he was stubborn.

“I am sorry Aku.. I couldn’t do it anymore, I didn’t want to hurt anyone, I didn’t want to be bad anymore” You cried out, trying to explain to him that it really wasn’t his fault.

“You could have told me Y/N! Or was it that you didn’t like me? Do you even know how I felt during all these years!” He ranted, insecurities covering his mind even when it was clear that it wasn’t him, but after all he sacrificed there for you, did you really just leave?

You held his hand, trying to bring up more hope in him.

It was hard for Akutagawa to just accept this, you were a good person, he was a bad one, swept away in the darkness. Even talking to a traitor like you was considered wrong, why was he here? He was supposed to go. You didn’t deserve someone like him, nor did you deserve him. It was all so complicated, he didn’t know what to say.

I was content

being your right hand man.

He knew he had to prioritize himself this time, even if it was you. He couldn’t just forgive you after all you did, he didn’t blame you but he needed more of something… After all, he endured all the anger Mori let out after you went missing, the responsibilities you had left and his own pain.

who took the fall when you left?

who stayed behind with all the rest?

“I.. Need more time..” He said truthfully. You smiled comfortingly and nodded, “Yes, of course. I know what I did was wrong and you have all the time, I won’t go anywhere this time”

Your words warmed his heart but he restrained himself from smiling.

now that you’re gone

I am the best.

And so, you let him go. You knew he would be back, he knew that too. But for now, both of them could heal fully after the confrontation and the truth. A confession between how you both felt was enough to make it not so lonely now.
