in all honesty i inch closer to the 'siffrin did it' theory. the no-death looping he did really tells me Enough about how much sif really.... learns in loops. like yes its the Houses layout, the traps (of which i saw only 2- and there was at least 4 stones more i have a bad feeling about this), the items, passwords and whatever else, but that My knowledge to use, as a player. he, as a character, grows more comfortable with looping, i think. he learns what it feels and learns what it does and.... well. hes the one experiencing it. is it That kind of a stretch if he learns anything after (for me) 11 tries?

It's easy to whip up some generic "We're sorry that this ever happened with a Pax product" thing when your audience are random people who doesn't know you personally.

It's a whole different story when it's personal because he just feels so damn guilty for the smallest things and there are just not enough words to describe how sorry he is and if he starts talking, it'll probably end with him rambling near the verge of tears.

So instead, he showers the person he needs to apologize to with gifts, compliments, literally everything nice.

his apologies come in-built with Things To Make Up For Whatever It Is He Perceives He's Done Wrong, and while it's appreciated ofc, it's also sad that he automatically does that. that asking for forgiveness isnt in itself enough, that he has to overcompensate in other ways to truly make the apology "worth it"

i hope rosa reassures him with lots of cuddles and sweet kisses and reminds him that he doesnt have to try too hard when he apologizes. just being earnest and honest in asking for forgiveness is more than enough

but you're so right about everything with totk. you put it in words so well 😭 idk if you found memory 9, so i won't spoil anything, but it was SO GOOFY look up gmod smile after you watch it and explode instantly. loftwings would've made the game infinity better, like skeleehorses can go over gloom (such a silly name btw) and horses are always great, but there's nothing to ride in the sky??? missed oppurtunity imo. i basically play with no tech becuase i hate using it 😔 i have much to say on this game and sadly most of it around the plot isn't thatg nice

but no yeah i dont enjoy the tech lol. i think modern tech in fantasy is a slippery slope from “woah cool its so interesting how this fantastical society developed things we never couldve thought of” to “this isnt even fantasy its just sci-fi with medieval paint slapped over it” thats what botw vs. totk is to me. we went from giant magical mechs and tech that felt more like sentient creatures to a straight up four wheeler. also its just clunky. to me. vexes me.

i am playing it very slowly for several reasons so im not far im only two memories in (trying to do them in order) lol but im not impressed by the writing either again ive only beat the rito “dungeon” idk what to call it. it was fine. really felt like they just tried to replicate the divine beasts but it didnt work. the weird disembodied voice felt forced in totk its just this random exposition guy that felt like he was just there for the sake of mimicking the structure of the champions talking to you where in botw that makes sense because they’re important characters that you learn more about and play a role in the story and also they literally died and their souls were trapped in their beasts. and totk was like ah shit ah fuck we gotta have another disembodied voice throw this guy in there and have him lore drop on you. who is he. who cares.

and then the divine beasts were like interesting involved puzzles there was one i thiiiink the camel you literally had to turn entire parts of it to line up electrical signals to get places and unlock things it was a little frustrating but i had to think about it!! same with the elephant you had to control the entire mechanism to move things and you had to Think about it. the rito ship was just go find these things. ok the divine beasts were also that with the terminals but you had to work for it. totk really just went go walk around for awhile and find them. no real puzzle to it. there was a little bit with the doors/levers but it did not feel nearly as involved or thought through.

i will say i did like the boss fight the ice guy. cool guy. looked cool baller music neat new little thing you had to do to beat it i liked it. that was cool i will give them that they know how to get me pumped for a boss fight

ok but the cutscene with zelda near the beginning was goofy as hell. just straight up like woaaaahh she floated into the sky thats crazy!!! whaaat!!!!! felt extremely silly. i was sitting there like is this a gag is this supposed to be funny i cannot tell. very much threw me off. could not take seriously

also. fucking. got rid of her again. if they wanted to have the same success of botw maybe they should’ve gee idk changed the formula again and let zelda be with us. a two player zelda game would be so cool. even if it was still single player and we could just interact with her and have her with us im thinking kindof last of us/resident evil 4 style where she helps you do certain puzzles or helps you fight like other npcs. even if she just stayed at the base and helped purah with research and you could talk to her thatd be more interesting. GIVE HER TO ME!!

the intro really just felt like oh we have to get rid of zelda again because we need link to be alone so we can copy botw uhhhhh magic rock teleports her to the past yeah yeah that works. they decided they needed this to happen and then made a story to excuse those choices rather than actually construct something cohesive.

everyone gets acquainted during one of KAIs heists where hes tryna steal, idk a golden weapon because theyv all been dug up and put on display in old rich peoples homes. i feel KAI is more on the stealth side of things but once he engages into battle he likes to be a little eccentric but cornered hes awfully angsty. this is indeed still and elemental master au! however KAI and NYA have not yet realised they can will the elements.

i feel like it would be nice if when ppl talked abt mental health issues they talked abt how sometimes medication Helps but cant always Cure. my mood stabilizers keep me functional and they're great but I will never not be bipolar and I dont have anything for my hypomania. I may be medicated enough to keep my anger in check and no longer be depressed so often & not to the psychotic level i Was but I'm probably always gonna have spells of having too much energy that keeps me up at night, makes it hard to keep a thought in my head, makes me erratic and anxious. and I could keep taking my meds all my life and thatd still be the case. I've had people tell me things like "well, but you have to learn to manage your depression and anxiety so you can eventually stop taking that poison those meds" and that's just not possible for me. so like shoutout to those of us who are in that condition esp to people whose issues are otherwise "invisible" if someone isnt paying really really close attention. other mentally ill mfs feel free to add on

anyway, the story is as goes:

a boy from 11 to 16 is dropped off at freddy fazbears because his mom has work, he complains about being to old to be here because hes a teenager and how freddy fazbears is for babies. hes upset about not being allowed to stay at home and instead being dropped off at a daycare.

he sits against the wall or in the corner for a while and then freddy aproaches him and is like "u looked sad so we made a suprise for u in the back!" and the kid is like, "okay cool.. well i mean i used to lobe freddy's ill humor him" anyway he gets to the back ajd promptly gets knocked out

he wakes up and cant move and yknow, immideantly panics, because its dark, he cant see, and him mom isnt here. freddy appears and tbe kids like, "HELLO?!?!? WHERR AM I WHERES MY MOM???" and freddy laughs ominously, and the kid continues tk panic and then he evntually gets aroundd to goinf, "WHY CANT I MOVE" and then freddy is like, "yea we made you into a puppet" and the kid is like, "EHAT THE FUCK" and then the kid panics more and then eventually freddy tells him to dance and the kid cries and sobs for him mom but his body isnt listening to him and is instead dancing, and freddy starts laughing and im pretty sure gokden freddy also starts laughing and either the video ends there as they fade out or someone clicked off the video,
