hibiscus, lemongrass, and rose hips is such an iconic herbal tea combination, not in the sense that I particularly love it (nor do I dislike it; I like it, but not overwhelmingly so), but because it seems like every time I find one of them, one or both of the others is somewhere on the ingredient list, and it always ends up tasting basically the same no matter what else is on there. It's strong and bright and tart and distinctive and I have like, six variations of it in my tea drawer just because I'm drawn in by the promise of any kind of fruity tea, and then, inevitably, somewhere on the ingredients list: hibiscus, lemongrass, and/or rose hips XD
#tea#it has the double benefit of: mom hates hibiscus#so she won't drink any of that stuff on me#but it's just so funny to me how common it is#if something promises citrus flavors? it's got hibiscus and lemongrass at LEAST#if it's more vaguely 'fruity' in its advertising? definitely rose hips too
