Eddie was in one hell of a bad mood. You had to leave early this morning for the dentist, which meant he woke up without you.

Here's my take:

I know Fabian would probably want kippers on his.

Fig likes hers extra spicy with pineapple (she is the arch devil of rebellion)

Riz would be very methodical, trying to get the best pizza for the best price

Kristen and Adaine probably never had pizza before meeting the Bad Kids so experimented. Kristen now goes for a protein rich pizza and Adaine likes the more fancy pizzas with pesto or white sauce instead of tomato

Gorgug is ok with most toppings, but prefers plain cheese

They dont have kippers at the pizza place but they do have anchovies which are close enough. All of the bad kids say Fabians pizza smells awful so he usually gets an entire pizza for himself so it doesnt contaminate everyone elses. (Riz is mostly just playing along with the group joke, will share Fabians pizza if they're hanging out alone)

Riz gets the meatlovers, the one thats always on special and usually comes with a side of garlic bread and a drink. Can easily devour three WITH all the sides in one go if he's in the mood to eat. If he's not super hungry he'll split a large pizza with Kristen. Sometimes they'll get extra toppings like mushrooms or olives to make it feel like they're getting a vegetable in their diet.

Figs pizza choices are as bad as Fabians, she will get it as spicy as possible to the point that only herself and Riz can eat it (Riz only because he straight up cant taste capsacian so he doesnt get the spicy sensation). Riz will still pick the pineapple off and flick them onto Figs slices though. Something about fruit on pizza doesnt seem right to him. While she isn't able to order it from the pizza place she HAS made homemade dessert pizza before. An unholy mix of chocolate, cookie crumbs and marshmallows.... that was actually pretty good. Tasted like a smore.

Adaines are very fancy, but also very expensive. She doesnt eat very large meals though so a single one of her pizzas can be reheated as leftovers for at least 3 meals (she heats them up in the frypan so the bottoms stay crispy).

Gorgug is also Riz's pizza buddy, if Kristen feels like getting something different he'll share whatever Riz is having when the goblins not super hungry. Loves his cheeze pizza but will also get the vegetarian pizza with as many vegetables as they can fit.

-Shows up to your house bearing a large bottle of pumpkin pie flavored wine (Yes, that exists) and a jar of Cool Whip, thinking that's a suitable dessert.

-Due to having grown up in a lab, the man has no idea what you're supposed to eat for Thanksgiving. He thinks it's just a day where your entire family gets together and eats for no reason.

-This man cannot cook a turkey for the life of him. Don't even let him try, he'll find a way to burn the turkey and make the baking dish explode in the oven, regardless of what it was made of.

-Drinks the cranberry sauce, not understanding it's for the turkey, and tries to mash potatoes with the hilt of Masamune.

-Fortunately, this man is not entirely hopless; he's tall enough to hang all the decorations without a stepladder, so there's that.

-When the Thanksgiving dinner is finally ready, he'll find that he actually enjoys eating turkey, especially the crispy turkey skin, and soon becomes addicted to sweet potato casserole. Potatoes with marshmallows!? He had no idea such a combination could exist and taste this good!

-He had a great time at your place; it was a welcome change of pace, being around all your family members at once, experiencing the familial love he never had.

-He ended up eating way too much, just so he could continue hanging around you guys, and had to literally waddle out the door because of how stuffed he was. 🌝

-Unlike Sephi dearest, Genesis actually knows what Thanksgiving is and how to celebrate properly. His cooking skills are pretty basic, so he ends up gifting you an apple pie cobbled together from store-bought dough and canned filling.

-Very talkative; gets along quite well with all your family members and gets on all their good sides by talking about memories with you.

-His favorite foods are mashed potatoes and gravy. He just cannot get over how creamy they are and how delightfully savory the gravy tastes.

-As mentioned earlier, his cooking skills are basic, so he can help out in the kitchen, but only to a certain extent. He can help mash potatoes, mix sauces, keep an eye on the turkey, etc., basically, he does the stuff an eager 10-year-old does.

-Unfortunately, with Genesis, not everything has a happy ending. Just when you think the night is progressing properly with everyone socializing jovially and having fun, Genesis decides to cause some drama over something as small and insignificant as a housefly that had the misfortune of buzzing over his head.

-The minute he caught sight of that fly, his mind snapped into Total Bitch Mode. He rises from the table with fury, knocking his drink over and sending silverware flying everywhere, shocking you and your entire family.

-He will scream like a banshee, then send a massive fireball hurtling past all your heads and crashing into the wall where that poor little fly once rested. Everyone is in shock as they try to comprehend what the actual fuck just happened.

-Despite this inconvenience, and the fact that there's now a smoldering hole in your wall, everything was quite fine. Genesis had a good time and so did everyone else.

-Angeal is a man of dreams an honor. He knows how to cook. In fact, he knows so much, he takes over as head chef and magically turns into a dad overnight.

-According to him, it is now his solemn duty to cook the turkey, heat up the stuffing, and prep the dessert all at once, by himself. He adamantly rejects all assistance, claiming that a man with true honor can do all the cooking alone.

-Surprisingly, he pulls it off. The turkey was only a little bit burnt and the pie was only slightly too sweet.

-Angeal gets along well enough with most of your family and friends, and even ends up swapping recipes with several of them, though he very much preferred talking to you.

-His favorite foods are the deserts, believe it or not. He adores pie, especially pumpkin pie, and eats so much of it, he gets a massive sugar rush and a bloated belly. Poor guy.

-After everyone was done eating, his honor compelled him to tackle the mountain of dishes that everyone left behind, something you told him not to worry about. However, Angeal refused to listen to you, stating that it was his dream to do the dishes.

-Giving up due to his stubbornness, you left him to do his thing, only to come back an hour later to find an overflowing sink, wet dishes piled up literally everywhere, and a passed out angel on your kitchen floor. okay okay yes chef sanji is wonderful but baker sanji. confectioner sanji. think about it.

sanji kneading dough on a saturday morning with his shirtsleeves rolled up to the elbow. he has flour on his cheeks and one of those cute canvas aprons the colour of a brown paper bag with a million pockets and he keeps getting pissed off because strands of his bangs are constantly falling into his face. he makes sourdough and cheesecake and strawberry pavlova and tangerine tarts and dried mango nougat and carrot cupcakes that everybody eyed suspiciously before they actually tried them and now they're a friend group favourite.

he makes monthly batches of those agar-agar edible crystals for vivi's entire family and ships them by the crate to alabasta. he bakes robin and franky's blue raspberry black forest wedding cake. all of the straw hats have multiple packets of his dark chocolate dried fruit and nut and oat yoghurt brittle in their bags at any one time because they're the perfect snack and they're delicious. he makes red bean matcha mochi for zoro because the mosshead can't tolerate anything too sweet.

he has jar upon jar of aromatic infusions on the shelf: vanilla, black pepper, florals, all steeped in liquor to make high-quality extracts that he has gotten MULTIPLE offers to start a business out of, but he always declines because hello. he's busy cooking for straw hats and co.. luffy and fam. he has no time he is a busy busy man and would you look at that chopper's upside-down apple crumble is ready.

usopp makes him all sorts of contraptions, a high-speed blender, a state-of-the-art stand mixer, an ice-cream machine; sometimes if he's feeling lazy he'll go equipment shopping with sanji and just modify whatever they buy. sanji has a toffee hook on the wall of the galley and a very formidable collection of cookie cutters and piping tips. he's managed to make fondant that doesn't taste like utter trash and it's legendary. his salted caramel cashew macadamia popcorn has and will continue to make grown men cry.

but sometimes, he just chucks some charcoal in a pot and plops it in the middle of the dining table with a bowl of chocolate on top and brings out the fruit skewers, or the marshmallows and graham crackers. sometimes they eat rice krispy treats out of the packaging as they huddle together on the lawn and stargaze just because they can. sometimes the almond and dried cranberry combo just can't be beat and sometimes plain toast with butter makes you see god. but you'd best believe the next day he's up and at it again; his sourdough starter's looking more and more like a sentient life form by the hour and he has seven different things going on at once with two more bowls cooling off in the fridge and the oven preheating. i love baker confectioner sanji.

There are different kinds of love, Himiko has learned.

There's Jin, who loved her in the bubbly soda pop kind of way that she loved him, where it fizzes in your stomach and crackles behind your ribs.

And then he grabs her hand on the way to the flower market, his skin hot around hers, his wrist alone thick enough to hang from it like it's a branch and she's the swing. It makes her stomach drop to her knees and her tongue stick to the roof of her mouth and her fingers curl around his in the hopes that he won't let go again.

"Not going to lose you in this mess," he promises and there's a warmth in his eyes that reminds her of her new favorite meal, roasted chestnuts after dinner, huddled in a too large blanket to keep warm, burning your fingertips on the golden delicacy as you peel it and yet you can't stop eating even after your belly's full.

"Do you love me?" Himiko asks, the words wooshing out of her like the last breath she gets to take, ever. And she regrets it, instantly, the forcefulness of it. Hasn't she learned a thing these past years?

But Rico smiles, all golden sunshine in his handsome face.

"Was it that obvious?" He asks and she can hear it, too, the anxiety lacing his voice.

"Not really," she admits, stopping dead in her tracks, "Just hoping, is all."

He doesn't say anything, just lifts her hand to his face and presses a tentative kiss to the back of it, barely brushing his lips over her skin but it's enough to feel it, to leave a trail of goosebumps over every inch of her skin.

And Himiko thought she got it before, that thing about reading in someone's eyes, understanding someone without having to talk, but never the way she does now.

Because it's one thing to hope that you're loved and another to know it, to feel it too.

There's no time to explain, Tav eats marshmallows from Raphael's claws and then kisses him.

Tav giggled as she walked away from the bed where Raphael was left alone with a chessboard.

Tav was already heading back to them, taking a small basket out of the closet.

"Hellfire has been available to devils and a bunch of other creatures for thousands of years, surely any blasphemy has been performed with it during this time"

Tav lets go of the basket handle and jumps back onto the bed, so that one leg is tucked under her and the other hangs to the floor.

The girl looks into the basket without even wasting time enjoying the devil's displeasure. The aroma of fresh food reaches the sensitive noses of everyone present. Tav frowns a little, finally considering his actions.

"We'll need wine for something, but so that you don't have time to change your mind, there's a faster option."

Inside the basket, she unwraps a parchment bag and a new smell, sweetness, escapes from it. Tav takes out a small white piece, somewhat checking its elasticity by looking at Raphael.

"A hand, please,"

Raphael reluctantly holds out his hand, not expressing any interest in his observation. Tav impales a white piece on two claws and shapes the hand so that the heat from the center of the palm rises to the unexpected guest on the nails. (it looks like a half-heart gesture)

"Come on, give me a flame"

Tav pulls away, it seems that stars sparkle in her eyes while she hypnotizes his hand. Raphael sighs and a greenish light flashes on his hand. The white cloud quickly darkens and no sooner does it stop than it turns black.

"Well, it's burned out,"

he said, turning his half-closed eyes back to Tav.

"Shh, that's how it should be."

Tav says and approaches the hand with his face, biting off half of the burnt sweetness, the white and soft contents do not last long after it. The girl closed her eyes for a second, tasting and mumbling with pleasure. Such a gesture finally makes Haarlep look with one eye and turn to them. Tav repeats the movement and carefully takes the rest of the sweetness from Raphael's claws.

The  girl puts another white piece in its place.

"Please repeat"

is followed by the command Tav.

"Should I try it?"

Haarlep finally purrs, getting up on his elbow.

"You'll have to work on the flame yourself"

Raphael roars, as if he is not sitting between his lovers, but as if a dozen naughty children have been hung on him and his ability to be nervous has left him.

The flame goes out, freeing the way. Raphael suddenly finds a plus, the image of his little mouse licking his fingers is quite pleasant.... Tav meets his gaze and accidentally touches the skin of his fingers with his mouth, not limited to claws alone. The devil's gaze softens.

This is repeated several more times until Tav offers to try it. The devil is already ready to fulfill her request and slowly pulls his hand to his own mouth. When Tav orders him to stop, he jumps up, balancing on her knees to be level with his face.

"Not like that."

The girl sighs briefly before snatching the treat from the claws into her mouth and clinging to the lips of the devil in a kiss. Haarlep's chuckle can be heard in the background. Tav does not open from Raphael, passing him the contents of his mouth and following him with the movements of his tongue over sharp teeth and sweet lips. And she sits down on the bed again, looking at Raphael's expression with interest. How he tastes and swallows with barely noticeable movement of his mouth.

"I didn't think that you, little mouse, would be the first to bring such games to our bed,"

Truth be told she'd check each of the people in the trolley problem, even from afar, and if she sees somebody that is her favourite from each side, and then swerve the trolley to the one track where she doesn't know anyone there.

If she sees that there are favourites on each track she'd consider which one is really her favourite, and then swerve the trolley to the one that is her least favourite. Of she sees that there is nobody who is her favourite, then she calculates which one looks good enough to be her friend and then swerve it to the rest.

1. how long are their nails? do they paint them?

I actually just described this in a thread with Giselle - they're kept as short and clean as possible, and he does in fact paint them when he gets the chance. Usually red, sometimes black... could see pink or sparkly in the (distant) future if character development pans out. He keeps them very clean and neat, and doesn't bite them, specifically because he's seen how an infected hangnail in an environment like Olathe can actually cost you an arm. A number of his underlings back home are missing arms - and one of those guys simply lost it to infection rather than as a punishment, which is the typical reason for a Joy Boy to be missing an arm. Buzzo is trained in lab safety and cleanliness, so he enforced a nail-trimming and handwashing mandate after that event. The boys figured he was just annoyed that the event didn't really allow him any sadistic pleasure, given it was a medically necessary amputation.

2. what is their hair texture? do they take good care of it, if they have any?

I've seen depictions of it as being straight and depictions of it as being curly. I'm gonna split it down the middle and say he has wavy hair - which can often look like frizzy straight hair if it's not properly taken care of. Which, it's not, in his case. It's usually stuffed under a helmet and prone to getting logged with sweat under the baking sun. Fresh water, especially enough to bathe in, is a luxury, as are decent toiletries. And as a very utilitarian person, he's never put much effort into his appearance outside of very easy things (like painted nails or putting on lipstick or putting on a certain outfit) on a whim.

He's also prematurely balding and has a FIERCE widow's peak. He'd likely cover it with a hat if he didn't have his helmet. It provokes some mild, subdued self-consciousness to think about.

12. do they have any sensitivities to tastes?

Oh boy, I have a lot of words to say on this one! The answer boils down to "no, and if he did he'd deny it".

Buzzo has never been one to eat for pleasure or taste. Not since Lisa died, anyway - back in the day he'd spend her allowance on graham crackers, marshmallows, candy, or fast food for her, since she was neglected by her father and he wanted to do what he could for her.

Since her death, though, he would just eat whatever was put in front of him as a kid without complaint. And as an adult pre-flash, he would eat pretty much just, meal-prepped chicken breast and broccoli without any particular seasoning or sauce, and then spend his weekends drinking beer alone in his apartment. The point was to maximize protein intake so he'd look good (in the vain hopes of attracting a female companion - but he doesn't socialize often, and he also gave himself a beer gut, so...)

There was a little bit of culinary joy in his life pre-flash, though. What he'd do is on Sundays, he'd take a pre-made, ready-to-bake pie crust from the store (he definitely can't make a pie crust from scratch), fill it with whatever fruit was cheap or in season at the time (typically apples, but he's also done peach, pear, and even persimmon) plus a little sugar, and he'd have that for breakfast every morning before work each day.

That being said, he actively identifies as NOT a picky eater. He'll eat anything edible without complaint and needle other people for being picky, which he thinks of as being immature and childish.

If he were to start eating for pleasure, I could see him being very adventurous in terms of like... say, weird types of cheese.

...However, I think this guy has zero spice tolerance. You hand him a hot wing and he immediately gets incinerated.
