so i used to watch miraculous suuuper casually like if it happened to be on tv I'd catch a random ep every now and then. and you're telling me. the villain is the catboy's dad???? like from what you've described there are insaner things in that show but Hello

yes lmao it's a whole thing, he wants to bring his dead wife back to life and keeps her body in a secret underground lair. it's actually forshadowed pretty well in the first season, it gets pretty obvious if you see certain episodes. also his brand's logo is literally a butterfly lmaoo but then they do actually reveal him in the season 2 premiere and in s4-5 there's a lot of plot dedicated to him. he sucks but at least he died <3 no literally he was dying all of season 5, basically rotting away and turning into dust. and then he died in the finale. normal kids show!
