once again stressed as hell because i have the opportunity to apply for a job and i feel like i HAVE to take it despite the fact that i really dont want it and also feel like it wouldnt necessarily even be the best move in terms of career… but like. Fatal American Desire To Seize Every Financial Opportunity At The Expense Of My Own Well-being.

#i know i dont want to be a public librarian. if i work in public libraries long term i want to work behind the scenes in some way #it makes so much more sense for me to keep my little no-hours minimum wage job for now and look for something ACTUALLY relevant to my career #interests either an internship or job or something #ugh. i am so susceptible to anxiety over feeling like im missing an oportunity #even when its not something i actually want #i have done all the thinking and rationalizing and it makes so much more sense to focus on school and figure out where i actually want to be #in the LIS world and make those connections than to get a more stressful job in part of it that isnt in the career path i actually want to #go down anyways. and even if i change my mind and DO want to go into public libraries eventually this opportunity will be back soon enough #they hire for this position at least once a year #ecdysing

#goddamn i love when i have a good interview 🥰#happens more often than not at this point in my career but man #i dont know if i ever would have gotten to this point without a piece of advice i read a few years back #no idea where i saw it but it literally changed my life lmao #but here it is: when you're in an interview...#you are already at an advantage #because the person interviewing you doesn't want to continue to have to interview people...#they want YOU to be the one they're looking for #they WANT to like you #just think about that for a second!!!!#and of course this is assuming that they dont already have someone else in mind and are just interviewing by obligation #but you didnt stand a chance for that job anyway so... might as well assume that you have the shot #i swear this whole idea changed my entire perspective once i really internalized it lol #ESPECIALLY after i started giving interviews myself!! (if your job ever gives you the opportunity to give interviews TAKE IT)#because i had PROOF of the concept lmao like it was really fucking true!#i really did want every person i interviewed to be The One!#like we had a problem: need to hire a person #every interview was an opportunity for that problem to be solved #it's not like school where no one cares if you do well because it's ultimately your business #like when people are trying to hire they WANT YOU TO SUCCEED IN THE INTERVIEW #REMEMBER AND INTERNALIZE THAT!#unless you get saddled with a gatekeeping dickhead in which case you're dodging a bullet anyway #because a company who will put the gatekeeping dickhead in interviews is either evil or stupid lmao

Hmm have been thinking of my future au a bit and the whole intern program and who graduates and who drops out

#I was considering kitty dropping out but I realize that she’d lowkey be a rlly fun agent due to her confusion powers #I feel bad that I change this au so often but my ideas keep changing #also on that note I was thinking abt Phoebe becoming a psychonaut ( therapy branch ) for a bit but somewhere in her mid-late twenties #she burns out hard and realizes that she isn’t passionate about being a psychonaut anymore #also it just generally takes a toll on her mentally bc she goes into patients minds often #and has witnessed some shit #so she ends up quitting and decides to focus on her music career with Quentin #Crystal however does stay with the psychonauts #though she mainly does social work and whispering rock counseling rather than field work #cosmic chatz #psychonauts

taeyang vc yeoreobun....! im on the other side of a stressful month but i am ALIVE and very much looking forward to getting back into my muses omg... ive made a lot of internal developments to taeyeon and boyoung both between crash outs lol and im excited to not only put them into motion more elaboratively this weekend, but also catch up and get to know all of our new muses and members that i missed out on!!!!!! omfg!!!!!!! anyway i know i still have plotting to do and thats definitely coming after ive had a good 12 hours of sleep but this is me showing signs of life lmao
