I’ve been watching a couple videos on really awful but popular dark romance books and the more I watch the more I become convinced that romance was a mistake. It’s time to move on from love. Forever

I’ve never had such a visceral reaction to a book like that LDNDN#also I’ve just been realizing lately how deeply alienating it is to not be interested in romantic content in books#like overall#y’all know I like ship stuff n the dynamics they can offer. i am obviously not opposed to that#but goddamn it. i fucking hate reading romantic stuff#how can these people all be alloromantics and can’t write fucki ng . romance#i can’t write romance but at least I’m honest about it LDNDN#like idk it’s a small thing but once it occurs to me how obsessed the world is with romance. i feel rather alone#idk it may also be 4 am existential unease talking
