It was definitely a bit more serious than it would be at a con, but that's to be expected ofc! He was a little nervous at the beginning (who wouldn't be?) but it was nice to see him relax more as the concert went on. I think I still prefer the casual vibe of something like SNS, but I very much enjoy both and I hope RC does more concerts! (preferably cheaper ahum not through CE ahum and perhaps in Europe maybe? a girl can dream 😅)

AND THEN YESTERDAY he gets fucking wasted with a couple of his friends that he just met. so me and my friends make our way over to his apartment to make sure he's alright. he was even worse drunk around me even more touchy and clingy and kept calling me pretty and made a point to say how much he liked me "platonically". the absolute worse part is that when we were both alone for a moment he told me that's he had something to tell me that was a secret and that he fucked up but his drunk ass didn't finish his sentence. so yeah idk what to do at all I'm sorry for ranting totally ignore this if it's out of pocket 😭

but I think you need to set firmer bpundaries with him, because from what i read you talking it out and him agreeing is not working out when he's doing the same thing again and again. If you feel uncomfortable let him know in a serious environment (does he take whatever you say in a jokey manner?) because if he does know what you're orientation is and essentially who you like, he should have realised ki okay some of the actions I do, she might not be comfortable with. Because if he still continues to do so I think you should take some space away from him, that's just my opinion, I hope this gets sorted out for you! <3

so people are actually interested in my and @caramellody‘s scott the woz phantom thief au?? which like i was hoping for but im still lowkey surprised

i dont rlly have any more Big Art so ill use this post as a Lore Dump under the cut (ill likely make a seperate post for things involving p5 spoilers though. so dw abt that im keeping this one spoiler free, mostly major ones but ill err on the side of caution)

OKAY SO. this au begins with Dr. Anna May, who has mostly backed off but she just Cannot let scott’s refusal to play persona 5 slide. so, she uses her Anime Realm Powers or whatever they are to isekai him into the game. He becomes an additional orignal phantom thief alongside joker, ryuji, and ann, and will be released from the game when he beats it.

to accomplish this, anna has used her dominion over anime to create extra backstory for an additional character. iirc scott has played the p5r intro for footage, but i dont think anything past that? i could be wrong but just for the sake of au. thats where were at.

SO, scott is basically also from jokers hometown, and had also tried to intervene in the event that led to joker getting arrested in the first place, and are now both under sojiros roof bc. idk same case. they have bunk beds :)

that said, scott doesn’t really live that backstory? like he goes to bed in ohio one night, wakes up to mr. purse owner 5 shaking him awake like “hey cmon this is our stop” he sorta has to pick it up from context clues. he also has to go to shujin, and while it makes more sense for this to be Scott But High School Age for the duration of the isekai thing, i find its infinitely funnier if hes just. the same 24yo scott as irl. nobody acknowledges or questions this.

he also cant say hes in a game lest the ps4 hes running on fuckin explode, so anytime he tries what comes out is replaced with. something relevant that doesnt break the 4th wall. yknow the e3 2017 video intro. it looks/sounds like that.

SPEAKING of the ps4, time is moving at the games pace from scotts perspective. like, days can be quick for us as the player, but for scott in this situation a day is a day. 24 hours. outside of the game time is moving as usual however. at one point rex gets into scotts apartment, sees scott on the tv and the ps4 playing itself, and just tells the others “yeah hes fine hes just having one of those wacky gaming adventures again” by the time hes out, assuming abt a 100hr playthough is average (thats what i got anyways) only a few days have passed in ohio

anyways hes really pissy about the situation at first, i like to imagine anna may showed up the first night after it all started in her own velvet room dream sequence to explain everything, but thats just for theming/aesthetic purposes, i feel like joker should still be the only wildcard of the groupbut he gets to where the kamoshida plot is really ramping up and the shiho moment. and idk abt you guys but that moment hit me HARD, so scott basically goes i know this is very real and im so ready to throw down. (bold = 4th wall preserving redaction btw.)

his rebellious spark is him putting his moping about the situation aside to do said throwing down, and to overall make the best out of his situation (i mean, hes in japan, they made wario there, might as well see the sights while ur stuck there)

the actual phantom thief design is, again, by caramellody. i came up with duel as a codename, bc of the dual color scheme and duel bein a fightin word sjklfdsjf. (also if you put duel and scott together the initials are DS. thats video game initials........) outside of a jokey persona like vince young or smth, im stuck on his persona but i like to think of him using both fire and ice on a slightly weaker scale compared to ann and yusuke, sorta like crow with bless and curse. hes a blunt weapon user like ryuji, but theyre all like. light blunt weapons. and hes a lighter hitter and much more agile than ryuji.

this post is getting Way Too Long, so ill close out by saying. this au is supposed to defo supposed be on the goofier side, but me and caramellody have some canon divergence planned that puts the goofy to the side for a second...

A dumb analysis of OH3 well, of the chapters we have for now by a dumb person (aka me) if you might care idk

Alright. I've finished playing the available chapters for Open Heart. I'm glad I did because I've formed my own opinion. Let me know what you think because I'm curious.

Let's begin with the last sex scene.

It wasn't bad at all but I do understand why people would have found uncomfortable Ethan's proposition. Needless to say, if you don't romance Ethan and you still received such peculiar offer, I understand why you might have laughed at the screen. Pixelberry has a strong, strong, strong, strong preference for him and we all know this. They don't even try to hide it. But they probably have to contractually put every offer for diamond scene and for every LI even if you don't have a relationship with them.*** This connects to their huge preference for Ethan, since he has so much screen time, and well... basically, I'm very sorry for people that don't like dr. Ramsey because I'm sure they say no to him A LOT.

A thing that bothered me was that Ethan proposed something so intimate while still in the hospital. They could have at least went outside or in a more private area. You don't want coworkers or patients to hear this type of things. Especially since Ethan made clear many times that he doesn't mix private life with work. And he fails every time to separate the two things: Harper, MC, the shitty decision. He even made out with MC in his office and I'm sure at a certain point they'll offer a sex scene in there.

Didn't he have a dog? Did they die? Where the fuck is the dog. I ask this because if I remember correctly in the first book he said he had one but no one knows or has seen it. Was he hallucinating? What if he invented it because he was lonely?

I'm joking of course but I really wanna know where his dog is.

There are some "improvements" that I noticed.

So, they're giving more screen time to our friends. Slightly and slowly but they're doing it. It's still not enough, though.

And they're somewhat changing their personality, I kinda noticed? I'm not sure this is an improvement.

I can't represent people who have other characters as LIs (they are surely paying more attention to them so they'll be more adapt to speak about this, if they agree with me) but Jackie not saying how bad the intern was when she fucking fat-shamed a patient? Yo? Jackie what's going on?

Sienna is becoming slightly more "badass". She's always been a bad bitch, let me be clear, but she's showing her tough side a little bit more. I like it.

Keep in mind that I finished playing OH2 recently, so I still freshly remember her behaviour towards Mitch. In this book, I believe she is the one to have the least screen time of the whole gang.

Elijah is a sweetheart, really. Remember when I said that they're kinda "changing" the characters' personalities? With Elijah they're doing the opposite. They're fully going with sugar and optimism. This might be an unpopular opinion but it's like if he almost doesn't want to see that his boss might be a snake? It's okay though. Keep doing your research babes, I'll punch Bloom. And Ethan.

Bryce. The scalpel jokey has made a mistake. It's one of the few changes I like. Bryce has always been charismatic and confident but we also knew (more or less) that, even if he is obviously a pure talent, some of that confidence is a facade. I like that he, well, fucked up a little because it makes you remember that he's human. And I've always had a crush on Bryce, I mean how could you not. He will jump back on his feet, he always does.

I just wanna go back to Jackie for a moment. I know that some of you might object saying that she is taking care of her intern and being a bitch is not going to help, showing that she's human (the process that's going on with Bryce) too but idk, Jackie not calling you out on your bs? Why would she do that? And it wasn't just a small mistake, the intern already had difficulties with some medical procedures and lacked of some basic respect towards a patient. I don't know, I'm not convinced.

I honestly can't tell who has the least romantic scenes, if Jackie or Raphael.

I know Aurora's stans are laughing at me after reading this.

BUT why isn't Rafael coming to live with us? I mean, why not? What's stopping him?

These people are doing more harm than good.

I understand if you want to make a small list with content warnings, for a fandom, that is completely fine! But using such a list to start bullying, harassing, threatening and in general, witch-hunting people is not okay. Many great and talented people have been driven away from the fandom by that tiny toxic group(or the cucks, as i like to call them for easy sakes). Content creators are even scared to post their content too now, both of these things are a huge shame. It’s terrible. Sites like tumblr are supposed to be for sharing your content without limitations. [well, until the nsfw ban, but you get what i mean..]

I happen to be in contact with some people on the blocklist, and let me tell you, they are truly amazing and wonderful people. 

Yeah sometimes people make content you may not agree with, but that doesn’t mean you have start attacking people for it. Do you know how easy it is to click the unfollow or block button? But apparently some people are so stupid they prefer to screech instead of click one single button. 

But for example, I dislike a certain popular hc for medic. I dislike the Jewish medic hc. I’m a Jewish man myself, but I don’t like seeing Jewish medic for multiple reasons, none of which are out of antisemitic nature. What do I see when I see Jewish medic? I mind my own fucking business. The person who posted that wanted to create that, fine by me. I don’t agree with it, and I don’t have to. I’m not going to make a dumb expose list for everyone who ever said anything about medic being Jewish. I mind my fucking business like a normal, mature person. 

And there was/is a huge discussion about drawing or writing tf2 non-con…yeah, rape isn’t good. Every sane person knows that. Writing or drawing rape does not mean you’re a rapist (unless it’s an autobiography of course, then I’d like you to take a trip to prison). But, some people, including myself, write or draw non-con as a coping mechanism. I use confrontation to cope. I have a few triggers, and by confronting myself with said triggers I’m slowly getting over said triggers.

If I write or draw about these triggers or rape, I feel like I’m relieving my feelings about what happened to me. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, and i’m not the only person who does it like that. 

Yeah, I get people don’t always want to see that. That’s why tags exist, that’s why people use those tags for content and trigger warnings. That’s why you block those tags if you don’t want to see it.  It’s that simple

Also, some of them make the claim that fiction is reality. I disagree, fiction is not reality. Yes, fiction can impact reality, but it isn’t one and the same. If you can’t distinguish fiction from reality then, well, you’re either not ready for fiction or not old/stable enough to be able to tell the two apart. Besides, if fiction really IS reality then so many movies and books would have been banned, or the writers of those must have been in jail by now, right? Writing a book about a fictional serial killer does not mean the writer is planning to or already has commit murder. Take Tf2 fan-fiction writers for example. They write about dudes slaughtering each other on a daily basis, but some of them wouldn’t even DARE to hit a fly in real life. 

People who commit crimes because of a fictional piece were already going to do so to begin with. No sane human sees a crime that occurs in fiction and thinks to do the same. Those who do commit crimes because of a fictional piece were already planning to do so to begin with, and were probably not a completely hundred percent stable person.

And about the discussion of miss p being a lesbian, yeah I get that Jay said she’s gay and that, and if she really was a Canon lesbian, it’d be weird to ship her with men. However, those cucks do also make soldier a homosexual despite him having a (gorgeous) wife? Isn’t that kind of hypocritical? Anyways, Jay most likely was joking about miss p being gay, he’s known to be a jokey person like that. I feel like the way he did it was just saying “oh yeah btw she’s gay”. To me it feels vague. In the same sense that jk Rowling suddenly says everyone is gay in Harry Potter. Yeah, I hc her as a funky lil lesbian too, but i don’t go off on a tangent when someone sees her as bi, because the way she was “confirmed” as a lesbian, was vague and uncertain, and most likely a dumb joke that split the fandom in half.    

Anyways, most of the cucks I ran into are underage, and aren’t even allowed on this site, which can explain their irrational behaviour, and refusing to listen to anyone who slightly disagrees with them, but lemme tell y'all something, minding your own fucking business would have prevented this entire blocklist ordeal.

Besides, YOU are in control of what you see on the Internet. Don’t like a certain type of content? BLOCK IT! or just, STOP LOOKING AT IT! it’s not that hard!

Content creators are not responsible for what you do online, these creators don’t know you, don’t expect them to fucking take care of you, they’re not your parents. And if you disagree with something, it’s better to start with calming yourself down and contacting the OP in a respectful and mature manner. Maybe talk to them, broaden your horizon, broaden their horizon. Can’t agree eventually? That’s fine, it’s normal. Simply block the tag or the creator themselves and boom! You’re done, and didn’t harm anyone in the fandom and probably learned something, and OP probably too! If something isn’t tagged you can always, nicely, reach out to OP and ask them to tag. Most of the time they will. And if they don’t, just unfollow or block them if they continue posting a certain something that triggers you. Making a blocklist is one of the most immature things you could do. You bully and harass people to the point where some feel unsafe, and some even suicidal, in a fandom about a dumb fucking hat Simulator. Is that really what you want?? A fandom is supposed to be a safe and fun place for everyone who likes a certain something. By being toxic, and harassing others to the point where they don’t even feel safe(not only those who are young or mentally ill) in a what was supposed to be a safe place for them, you’re actively harming that safe place, and frankly, you don’t deserve to be in the fandom. 

Also, I’ve seen a lot of these cucks say they actually hate tf2 as a game, and really, if you hate the game so much why are you still here in the fandom? And ruining it for the rest for us?

If you do feel unsafe, follow steps I mentioned above. Talk to people, block tags, block people, and mind your own business without policing others in what they can and cannot do. Unfortunately, the creators who do feel unsafe because of the toxic group cannot talk them, because the moment someone even slightly disagrees with them, or tries to respectfully discuss why they’re being “cancelled” the cucks start screeching like full-blown autists.

You’re not the law enforcement, you are (most likely) a minor who isn’t even allowed on tumblr in the first place, and who has no idea how the internet, or fandom spaces in specific, even work.

also, i'm curious about something you said a while back - you mentioned that when you started sys you thought about jaehyun differently than you do now, and i'd be interested to know how your perception of him changed, if you feel like sharing! he's one of the members whose personality i have a bit of a harder time getting insight into (seungmin is the most difficult for me to understand how his brain works because i think he and i are very different and i can't really wrap my head around his way of thinking, then jaehyun because he seems kind of shy so i don't feel like i see enough of his personality to get a good idea of it, then jangjun because it feels like he's actually got a lot going on up there, he portrays this kind of random persona but i get the feeling that he thinks and feels really deeply about a lot of stuff and we just don't see it because of his funnyman image)

as for what I said about Jaehyun, yeah! my perception of him definitely (what's the right word here?) evolved? I honestly didn't have that strong of a read of him before, and I'm guilty of sort of generalizing him as the "golden retriever" bf WHICH I still love writing for him btw. I kind of always knew that wasn't his "true" personality because that's no one's true personality lol, but I still think he killed it in fling at convenience store, which is where a lot of his character's inspiration used to come from. obviously I don't actually know golcha and these characters are all just approximations and not meant to be 100% accurate, but I think it's when I watched the baebongdong algorithm brothers videos that my perception of jaehyun really changed. even with my favourite groups, I don't watch every video or check every update, so I honestly don't know much about any of My Guys lol. anyway, I think that string of baebongdong videos actually helped mould my perception of both jaehyun and seungmin. they felt really candid in these videos (donghyun too but I feel like I already knew him a bit better). jaehyun was way more... jokey? mean but in a playful way (mostly to jibeom)? embarrassed by cringe? cool? than I originally pegged him as. honestly none of that makes sense, and I'm way better at characterizing people by writing them in action rather than using adjectives, but yeah, my previous image of golden retriever bf jaehyun was not as strong after those videos.

seungmin, too -- I used to think of him as like a quiet intellectual (idk why I honestly couldn't tell you) but now he is my loseriest cringe bf and I love him. he's part of my "mischievous golcha" line (jangjun, sungyoon, joochan, seungmin) aka the ones from that one april fools vlive. but I never really wrote him as mischievous or shit-stirring in btdt (sungyoon too but he has potential to change lol), so I'll have to figure out how to input seungmin's "new" personality in aromatic. or maybe I'll still write him as an intellectual. who knows ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯

and I definitely agree with us not seeing every side of jangjun! I think he's actually a pretty smart guy and really good at reading people -- esp his best friends. he's probably a really really good friend that anybody would be lucky to have :') still, it's fun to use him as a gag character in btdt lol

I don't really know golcha (esp not when the cameras are off) but I do think my perception of them now is better than what it was in 2020. idk

Ok so I just spent an hour trying to find this year old video to see what we're angry about now and these are my thoughts:

1. He's not really "joking" about covid, just addressing it in a jokey way. He calls it coronachan which in his online space would be like the way us gays started calling it miss Rona because of YouTube demonatizing any video that mentions covid.

2. The racially iffy stuff is speaking gibberish chinese but tbh they're actual words and the joke is that he doesn't speak the language very well... idk man it's just not the same as someone yelling "chingchong" while making their eyes look slanted. I could see how it could have been seen as an insensitive joke but not outright racist and I would still find this title a bit clout hungry.

3. He said coming home from Japan made him realise that "we" (white, western, swedish?, unspecified) are savages because they have way more advanced toilets in japan, and that they're like the elves in Lotr because of it. Meaning more advanced comperatively. I feel like I myself have said something like this comparing a country to lotr elves because they're better at something than what I'm familiar with. Like French bread or Italian coffee. I guess it plays in to """""positive""""" stereotypes that negativly impact the Asian population in the US, but it's soooooo mild that any other youtuber could have said this and been fine, also it's a single sentence.

In conclusion:

Fuck you guys for making me look up and watch a fucking pewdiepie video, I did not enjoy it, and can we please save our outrage for when he actually does something racist? Like I get it, he should be held fully accountable for his previous actions and there's probably been plenty of it since, call it out when it happens. I know that dog whistles and "jokes" are a way of making extremist beliefs more palatable for a wide audience but this video just isn't that. I feel like at this point there are hundreds of news outlets subscribed to pewdiepie, notifications ON, only to watch every video 20 times untill they figure out how to interpret his words just right so that it comes across as racist, so that they can put up a title like: 'most racist youtuber ever, pEwDiEpiE!!, is being a racist again!!'.

I feel like a lot of his fans (I even know one, ew) are desensitized to these headlines at this point. And they will probably disregard future controversies as just more outrage click bait, EVEN WHEN IT ISN'T. I'm not playing defense for this asshole btw, you can still hate him, but sharing around titles of articles that are a year old just to hate some more doesn't really do anything.

Okay, so I’m actually really glad you asked me this because it’s like one of my favorite topics. Just FYI I will do a deep dive into the Kloss family’s Insta presence at some point in the next week or so (I hear y’all are complaining about me “ignoring” Kimby’s likes, @agronshizzie is very efficient Gaylor Customer Service lmao). But let’s do Dr Kurt Kloss quickly.

MY DUDES KURT KLOSS IS A BOOMER. Idk what else to tell you. He is a huge Karlie stan - he follows like every single Karlie Kloss stan account on Insta, and yes that includes Kaylor ones. Like it’s actually lowkey a bit cute. But anyway. Now there are several possible reasons for this: 1) he just literally follows every single one and he doesn’t give a shit what the theme is as long as it’s about his angel daughter; 2) he thinks it’s about their “friendship” (which is not actually insane, there is a Torlie account that is about that FRIENDSHIP so it’s an easy mistake to make if you are, as Kurt Kloss is, a het BOOMER); 3) he thinks it’s jokey.

He also does follow Josh just btw. And he poses for family pics with Josh. He does not follow Taylor and idk if he ever fucking did.

Also, some person apparently messaged him and he said he likes as much stuff as he can about Karlie because he wants her fans to know they appreciate them and their support. Again. HE IS A BOOMER and a proud dad.

We also know he posted about Joshlie’s engagement, and his various Boomer friendlings commented in the most standard Boomer ways. 

And you know how else we know he’s a Boomer who is bad at Internetting? He got embroiled in this story. Now, I can’t actually... Like I genuinely don’t even know where to start unpacking that, it is such a deranged fucking mess. Kurt essentially DRAGGED HIS OWN DAMN SELF himself, by going into a professional forum on FB and flexing his konnections to the Kushners. HE WAS SOURCING PANDEMIC RESPONSE SUGGESTIONS FOR JARED ON FACEBOOK LMFAO. He straight up flexed having a “direct line to the White House”.

And how did he explain how and why he had this direct line to the White House? Well:

This is SUCH A MESS why is he BRINGING UP HER VOGUE KOVERS WHAT THE FUUUUCK IS THIS MAN’S DEAL. 

The whole thing is a HOT MESS. But it also shows pretty fucking clearly that he considers Joshua to be his son-in-law. Also, some Kaylors were claiming this was because the Kushners “forced” Kurt. Dudes. This was EMBARRASSING FOR THE KUSHNERS. This was TERRIBLE FUCKING PRESS. It showed them as the incompetent morons we KNOW THEY ARE. And they got him to delete it, apparently - but only after allegedly Jared “read” everyone’s response lmfao.

Nobody stood over Kurt Kloss and asked him to make a mess. And if he’s able to be this messy on main, do his likes really matter? Are they “proof”? Or does he MAYBE JUST NOT UNDERSTAND INTERNETZ?

So yeah. That’s kind of what I have to say on Kurt. He’s not a mastermind, and he considers the Kushners his family members. Idk if any of you guys have any follow up questions on this, I’m happy to field them because he does make me laugh.
