Spiderverse x One Piece AU!

A little something that started as an exercise in character design and then I got a little bit into it lmao

I did design the rest of the East Blue Crew but uh... they were kinda ugly/boring, I put more effort into these two because they're the 💕favs💕

Info, kinda. Honestly I don't have a lot thought out its mostly random ideas that mushed together sort of resemble a well put together au, just like everything I do <3

Nami:

- Spider-Woman of her universe, while her design isn't exactly original I really liked using her orange and blue colors. She has the spider logo on her back because she hates spiders and hates looking at them lmao

- In her universe, her best friend Usopp died when she failed to save him (kinda her "Gwen Stacy" but he was just a friend)

- Has electricity powers, her spidey senses are also really in tune with the climate for some reason

- She has a staff (not pictured) she fights with, and also uses the environment to her favor, not the biggest fan of fighting hand to hand because (compared to other Spider-people) shes not as physically strong

- Has a few enemies and nemesis that she fights, Arlong being the most important/strong one

- She's actually quite happy to know other Spider-people, tho she was kinda shocked when she saw Usopp... It was awkard for both of them...

Usopp:

- The first Spider-man in his world, there are some things of his design I would change (mainly the sweatband, I would change the colors), but I'm actually quite happy with his design. Where does his nose go with the mask on? The same place Hobbie's hair goes, idk..

- In his universe, his best friend Nami died, Usopp failing to protect her

- Uncanny precision with his webfluids, also figths using the environment

- Unfortunately isn't a well received Spider-man 😔, gets complaints about destruction of property or how he's "pretty coward for a superhero"

- Really would rather focus on saving civilians from natural disasters, as he's also not as physically strong (compared to other Spider-people), but it seems every weirdo on the block decided they really need to beat this teenager up, so he also has some enemies...

- Super excited about meeting other Spider-people and finally being able to share life experiences with them, and then met Nami, or Spider-Woman Nami and it was awkard and uncomfortable (but they became besties, bittersweet moment)

Extra stuff from the rest of the East Blue Crew:

- Luffy's spiderman name is Spider-King and the rest of the Spidermans where like "I can't decide if that's the best or the worst name I've ever heard...". Well Usopp thinks it's kinda cool, and wishes he had chosen a cooler name for himself, might be too late for a new signature 🤔, Nami and Sanji think it's stupid, Zoro is undecided

- Sanji does not have a spider logo, even tho his name is Spider-man because he hates spiders

- Zoro is the second Spider-man from his universe, the first one being Kuina, she died and he took her place

- Sanji has fire inmunity

- Zoro carries like 5 extra pockets of web fluids cause he takes "longer routes" (he gets lost a lot)

I heard about this theory that since black holes exist and suck everything in, that white holes also exist and just spew random crap out. My theory is that somehow these holes can get connected and spawn very very far away from eachother and every so often a white hole will form outside the universe and the spewed stuff creates a new universe and that’s how multiverses are created :)

Murata asks at some point if Yuuri is thinking of Hachimitsu-chan (Yuuri's pet name for Wolfram since 'Crossheart' April, 2006), Yuuri says "who dat?" and then says "no" in a very tsundere way, adding that 'he' is a guy so no XDD Yuuri pls. I ask again,,, who is tsundere now!?

So, Yuuri lets his imagination fly dressing up all of these characters (including Wolf!!!) in his mind along with Mura, but admitting to daydream about 'gallant, strong, brave, ririshii Wolfie' , that's too much. Yuu, boo; make it make sense~

5) Josa fashion leader

I remember when Gun-gun was the Takuya Kimura of Shinma XDD

((There's this band called SMAP in Japan (as big as the backstreet boys in the 90s), and one of the members was Takuya Kimura who got the 'best jeanist' awards (as in jeans fit him the best award... i know, Japan), and idk why but Gun-gun being the 'most beautiful' whatever always gave me Kimura vibes (Did Yuuri ever say that? Did I imagine it?? Was it all a dream O_O!?).

6) Ice hockey?

Yuuri says they should bring ice hockey to Shinma...? What? How, where... how are we making the ice rink?

Then again I feel like sensei threw that in just to circle back to Halloween, as a story telling mechanism. Yuuri's never talked about ice hockey before. There's no famous Japanese ice hockey players, so probably just a story telling device.

Right away? I kinda had Kassandra sleeping her way across Ancient Greece with almost all the ladies (caught on to Diona right away though and I’m forever glad about that), so it was always going to happen. But as for why I see them as more of a relationship... idk. They’re just really sweet, and I enjoyed Roxana’s quests.

Nope. I did, however, get an art print as gift once from a friend, with Clarke and a bi flag and Lexa with a rainbow flag. It’s this piece to be exact, though they don’t seem to sell it anymore? The artist does have a ton of other lgbtq+ ship art on their redbubble page (including other Clexa pieces, and they also did some of my fave Finnpoe pieces which I did not know was by the same artist, so there you go) if you’re interested.

I mean.... Corvo is technically a widower.... so we’ve already had the tragedy start within the first ten minutes of the first game.

Why is 1 so important?

Because it was my first Mass Effect ship, because Liara is so cute and bad ass and just!!! The journey they go on? My heart. I love them so much. Also a Shiara fic was the first ship I read on ao3 a long time ago so that’s also a bonus.

Which one has the strongest bond?

Pricefield. While they all have amazing bonds in their own ways, Max literally bent time and space to keep Chloe safe on multiple occasions. She didn’t even recognize Chloe right away, but her first use of her powers was to save her best friend. Chloe would also literally throw down for Max at any point, and she talks about how having Max back in her life for a single week made her feel the happiest she’d been in a long time, and that’s despite all of the shit they went through together. Like!!!!!! Please

Hmmm. Jess and Corvo were together for about 14 years, and Nate and Elena were together for.... also a long time. idk at what point UC4′s epilogue takes place so I’m just gonna assume they’ve also been together for a long time by then too lmao. idk man

Yep!! Jessamine was an Empress and Corvo her royal bodyguard. Shouldn’t have entirely bothered hiding it tho considering Emily apparently has 0 issue announcing to the world she’s Corvo’s daughter by the first scene of DH2 lmaaoo.

Is 4 still together?

We don’t talk about this. It’s too depressing.

Is 10 canon?

Relatively. By the end of the game, she has come into acceptance of her pain & grief, but like.... she’s not insta cured or something. And then in Hellblade 2 it seems like she’s ready to fuck everyone up so.... no, it’s not canon enough :(

If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?

I’ll have to agree that it’d depend. If things like magic, biotics, the Thu’um or Max’s powers, etc, are included uhhh... well, that makes it super tough. Again, Solas has godlike magic at his hands and can turn everyone to stone without trying now apparently, but Max can literally rewind time, the DB has their own form of godlike powers (Tiber legit remade the geography of an entire province, and that’s just his accomplishments), Kassandra is a demigod, Morgana one of the most powerful sorceresses ever, Serana’s a powerful vampire, Aela a dang werewolf, and Liara one of the strongest biotics. Senua also has Gramr.

Take all of that away though and... still kinda tough. Kass, Roxana, Lexa, and Senua are all really strong warriors. Corvo’s an elite assassin, Aela is a good hunter, Shepard a soldier who passed some of the hardest levels of training.... dude, this is too hard. Who tf knows.

Several by killing one or both off, and time itself tried as well.

THOUGHTS on holy shit more than a decade how is she not losing it

- 13 is definitely losing it

- No seriously seeing daleks and then calling other daleks to get rid of them? Luring the daleks into a fucking TARDIS and then destroying that TARDIS (which is alive by the way, we shouldn’t forget that) is just... she’s lucky things didn’t go spectacularly wrong.

- That said, that talk with Ryan. She’s finally acknowledging things are shitty, and just talking with people. Lets just hope she continues this trend with Yaz, instead of Ryan and Graham leaving making her clam up again.

- I am glad Ryan and Graham chose to leave and didn’t die. That at least helps.

- Oh Leo no you shouldn’t have fucked with things you didn’t understand I am so sorry this happened to you.

- Cheeto clone should have died and I am kinda mad at Jack for saving him. yes I know it’s bad to wish someone dead but seeing him get a commendation after he was an asshole and created daleks and then sided with the daleks fucked me up and I’m gonna read the fic where 13 calls UNIT to get him arrested now to feel less fucked up

- Jack spent a lot of time talking about being immortal and not actually showing his immortality. That said, nice references to Gwen and the Doctor as a man and kinda Rose too but I am so done with Rose being everywhere people let it go
