#Repost @ict_artfair SOLO ARTIST l Represented by @officinedellimmagine, @maimounaguerresi’s latest work will be showcased as part of @investec Cape Town Art Fair 2018’s SOLO section, which highlights 10 women artists. Maimouna works as a photographer, sculptor, video and installation artist in the Italian cities of Verona and Milan and regularly travels to Dakar, Senegal. Her work combines Afro-Asian themes and symbolism with the traditions of Western classical iconography. As a globally recognised artist, her work communicates the discomfort and beauty of cultural diversity and contemporary multiracial issues. Her photographic work often depicts the mystical figures of Islamic Africa. #ICTAF2018 will take place from 16 – 18 February 2018 at the CTICC @official_cticc.
