Inktober Writing Challenge

(Yesterday's topic. This is short, and seems I am feeling romantic today. In my defense, angel/satanist is one of my favorite horror romance tropes)

Day 12: Angel

“Don’t do this…” the deep, melodious voice sounded sorrowful, both desperate to touch her heart and soaked in knowledge any attempt shall be vain.

He lingered in the shadows, leaning against a cold, gray stone wall - a beacon of luminary in somber gloom of the basement. Golden hair cascaded down to his hips, shimmering as if swaying wheat in sunrise. Silken locks framed his face - fair like ivory, smooth like marble and handsome as if Apollo depicted by an Ancient Hellenic statue. Faint idingo glow pulsed around his head, and his brow was adorned in diamonds. His eyes were stars of deep lazurite, glistening yet gravely, for umbrage of aeons-old wisdom loomed behind their shining mirrors. His lips were thin and rosy in color, tender as satin. The man stood tall, mighty wings of a swan, pale like apple blossoms folded behind his back, his finely built body covered by a loose white robe.

The angel silently lamented, watching a young priest tied to onto a granith altar in the middle of the bloodstained chamber. Poor thing… So devoted to God, but where was He to protect a loyal servant?.. Blind. Asleep. Paying no regard… It wounded his heart like a thorn of incandescent steel. Grimacing, he met the gray-hued gaze of a lean figure cloaked in crimson and clutching a huge engraved knife. The person sighed, pulling their hood off to reveal beautiful visage of a young, red-haired woman. She set the blade away, beside a ritual bowl, and approached the angel’s dolorous self, grasping his hand.

“You know I will, Ithuriel… It is my way, and I am not asking you to follow. I know all this” she gestured around “Upsets you. So why don’t you… retreat upstairs? Or…” an elegiac shade glided over her face “Go home, back to Eden… I’ll understand, believe me. I know you still love God” she squeezed his warm grown rough in countless battles, nodding softly.

Ithuriel had walked beside her since her first breath, a guardian angel she never believed she had… until she heard the call of Perpetual Darkness, and gladly sunk into the spiralling abyss of blasphemous magick. Ithuriel had unveiled himself - not as a dreamy whisper or an invisible touch, but clearly as daylight dawns… begging her not to turn left… She only sneered, spitting at his celestial grace. However fate ripped apart both of their plans, and the plans of Heaven, too… She leaned in to kiss him, and the angel found himself in love.  

Ithuriel shook his head, pulling the Satanist close against his sunny heartbeat as her sacrifice stirred awake, gasping faintly and uselessly tugging on his restraints, pain crushing his bruised wrists.

“My love for you is stronger than God”.

sometimes fanfiction doesn’t stick with you for some massive life changing reason, but one of my favorite fics has a throw away line about a character being jealous and amazed by someone’s purple pen, and every time i use a purple pen I remember that and it makes me smile

Hello everyone!!! I bought these 8 tablets from a school auction a while ago because I thought these would be awesome to draw on! I started out drawing digitally using only a computer mouse and after getting a tablet PC I realized what a difference it made, and I would love to help others do the same so I want to raffle these off!

I have eight total, splitting four between Facebook and Twitter (you can enter on both for a total of 8 tries) and these come with their own stylus pen (stored inside itself) with built in buttons and pressure sensitivity, as well as the feature of drawing directly on the screen-these are not touch laptops otherwise. With the screen up and without using the pen these function just like regular laptops.

Now before I go any further you need to understand these are bought used, and they are worn as well as being semi outdated computers (and the batteries need to be replaced), but they still work well and will be a great aid to someone in need of a tablet and portable computer to start out on.

To enter just like and share this so that it can reach everyone and give as many people as it can a chance to get their drawing skills going!

When you’re picked, you can choose what OS you want it running, being Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows 7 Ultimate, or Windows 10 Ultimate (the tablet drivers are verified to work with all 3 OS versions). All I ask is that you tag me with your tablet once you get it so I know it arrived safely and didn’t get murdered by USPS. Thanks!!

I would like these to go to artists who do not have a tablet to draw digitally so they can start practicing. Anyone can enter, especially established artists and friends, as long as you know of someone you can gift it to! you do not need to follow me but since I will be posting these for a while you can follow me to keep updated on where they’re at
