i get really disappointed when i see a community turn on itself and imply that everyone is copying each other. being a community means coming together with shared experiences or a desire to experience things together, with support and interest. it doesn't matter who was "here first or around the longest," if that's all someone focuses on, they're going to be left behind as the community grows away from them, into something better.

#luptxt #this is about otherkin/alterhuman but can be applied to most things i feel #i've been doing kin art/here since 2014 and basically pioneered that shit so i've seen a lot #let people have fun and let people 'copy' each other is all i'm saying #sometimes it's a stepping stone to something more unique for them #and sometimes it's not and seeing someone else helped them understand their own feelings
