When Kai finds out he’s a monkey/bull demon that’s basically been in disguise his whole life does this lead to him questioning his “humanity”? I think Zane might have some helpful words since he had to find out he’s a robot?

He definitely questions himself at first. But here's a fact about the au; the others find out about his origins before even he does. Going along with this, Zane definitely tries to help Kai come to terms with this.

WIP Wednesday: 2079 Dorian, 2079 Kaylee, and The Tower AU

@theviridianbunny tagged me on her newest WIP Wednesday post. Thanks, bunny!

A couple of things to share this week, all related to my new 2077 AU: The Tower, a divergent Brother's Shadow Timeline based on the new ending from Phantom Liberty... so spoilers for those netrunners who don't want to touch the Blackwall.

I've been working on new appearances for all of the characters returning to 'The Tower' AU.

2079 Durian Update!

"Dorian! You... you're dressed like you're on your way to blow up Arasaka for killing your girlfriend... how've you been?" - Clara Gonzalez, 2079

Dorian's back, and he's ready to start Chippin' In with his new 'rebel' outfit, inspired by such upstanding and law-abiding citizens as Johnny Silverhand. His new outfit should provide some clues as to how Dorian will be portrayed in The Tower.

Kaylee 2079 Update!

Kaylee has changed as well, even more radically than Dorian. Kaylee disappeared shortly after Trey's death. The only clue she left behind was a single word: FIRESTARTER. Dorian found her in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and they've returned to Night City, though Kaylee has had to live under an assumed identity, complete wiith a new face: Sarah Karlsson.

The Tower AU

I've written the first short story that takes place in the new Brother's Shadow: The Tower AU, which follows on from one of the endings of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This AU is going to be my main focus, followed by Chorus.
