There's just some plot things that I want to get running in the next section, so I'm gonna be writing it up and posting it tomorrow. But I promise you that it's still an important choice to make (also idk what to pick so that means you all get to pick lol ).

Now that you all were in the city, it only took Anathema the next morning to hone in on her signal. To Aziraphale's delight, it led you all to the sculpture garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. To your delight, it led more specifically to a sculpture of a person riding a snail (to victory no doubt).

"I think this might be my favourite statue ever," You say aloud (because this author is assuming you would agree with her opinion). There is a person you don’t know standing in front of the statue. He gives a dissatisfied huff.

"It's called 'History of the Conquest,'" he tells you, despite not being asked, "The ever-slow and over-confident march of the entitled towards a future where they're in charge. Everyone else suffers while they promise glory and prosperity."

Your jaw drops open. This person looks like a 'surfer dude,' but is talking like someone who's spent most of their life in a cubicle changing 1s to 0s for 8 straight hours a day.

"WOW! That is BLEAK," is what finally comes out of your mouth. "Proper ray of sunshine, you are."

Okay, that sounded really British. You briefly wonder about the effect of spending so much time around Crowley and Aziraphale before Surfer Dude starts to laugh.

"I've seen a few things, human. Been 'round longer than you've been alive, will be long after you die. You're no more than a moth in my eyes."

"Wow," You can't help but repeat yourself, "Again, bleak." Also rude, but priorities.

"It is what it is," Surfer Dude replies. You shake your head and turn to Aziraphale and Crowley.

"You're up," You concede. You have no idea who this is, but he called you "human," and compared you to a moth. Whoever this person is, they’re probably the one Anathema’s had you looking for. He doesn’t look like Jesus, but maybe he will know where Jesus is. Either way, Anathema doesn’t get things wrong. If her work brought you to this person, then he’s the person you need to talk to.

That being said, whoever this is, he's the Ineffable Husbands' department and not yours. Sometimes you just gotta tap out and let the celestials handle their own kind. Now, this doesn't mean that you're not going to sit back and watch. Oh no, you want to see how this plays out.

"Can I have some popcorn?" You stage-whisper to Crowley as you pass him.

"Piss off," Crowley stage-whispers back. Despite his complaint, you notice a tiny Michael-Sheen smile on Aziraphale's face, and you return to Anathema, who looks surprised and is holding two small cartons of popcorn. You gratefully take one and have a seat on a convenient bench that is located conveniently within earshot. This is gonna be good.

"Hello," Aziraphale begins as he approaches, "I'm Aziraphale."

"Right," Surfer Dude says with a roll of his eyes, "The Angel of the Eastern Gate. I'm so honoured."

"Here I thought manners were important to angels," Crowley replies, sidling up next to Aziraphale. Surfer-Dude-Who-Is-Apparently-An-Angel takes in Crowley and raises an eyebrow.

"And here I thought demons didn't make a habit of hanging off angels' arms," Surfer Dude scoffs in in return.

Crowley snarls.

"Yes, well, each of us seems to be an anomaly in our own right," Aziraphale says with an appeasing smile, "This is Crowley. Might we have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

"No."

"Ah, right. Well, that is to your own discretion I suppose."

"Rude is what it is," sneers Crowley.

"Regardless, we've come to this garden with the guidance of our friend here, hoping to find, well, Jesus as it happens."

Surfer-Dude-Angel-Person throws his head back and laughs outright.

"You're looking for who now? JESUS? HA! Bit of soul-searching for you, is it? Spiritual journey? Pilgrimage to the Holy Land? You're in the wrong place for that!" He keeps laughing.

I mean, you get the laughter. It definitely sounds weird to a third party. Crazy even. But if this guy is an angel, then shouldn't it sound perfectly reasonable?

"Oi," Crowley interrupts, clearly impatient, "We're trying to save the world here. And since angels don't normally take holiday time, I'd think helping us might be in your best interest."

"You think you can stop the Second Coming? Ha! There isn't another technicality that you can throw around this time. This one's it. Enjoy the giant snail statues while they last, because it won't be for much longer."

"You know an awful lot," You call from the bench, "And you like to talk. So just get to the part about Jesus so we can leave you to be miserable on your own." You popcorn is already almost finished, and you frown into your carton. If only you could do miracles. You'd refill it yourself.

Surfer-Dude-Angel-Person laughs again.

"Yeah, okay, I like this one," he says, nudging a thumb in your direction. He turns away from Crowley and Aziraphale and strides towards you. Suddenly your popcorn carton is full again, so you look up. Okay, maybe he's not so bad. He reaches out a hand to you.

"Call me Sardis, Little Moth."

After a moment of hesitation, you shake his hand. He turns back to Crowley and Aziraphale.

"I can see why you've adopted this one," he says, then turns his attention to Anathema, paying no mind to the garbled protests coming from Crowley. "And since we're doing introductions...?"

"Anathema Device," says Anathema with a nod. She would probably shake his hand, but between her equipment and her popcorn, her hands are full.

"Lovely to meet you, Miss Anathema," Sardis nods at her before finally looking back at Aziraphale and Crowley. "You won't find Jesus here. But meet me for drinks later and I'll tell you what you need to know to find him."

"You're unnecessarily cryptic, Sardis," You say with a raised eyebrow and a mouth full of popcorn. He laughs again.

"Well, Little Moth," his eyes have a sparkle in them now as he looks at you, "Gotta keep myself entertained somehow."

Sardis insists on giving you all a tour of the sculpture garden, but refuses to say anything more about Jesus, or how he knows about Armageddon, or why he isn't in Heaven, or anything else that you actually WANT to talk about. He insists that such talk isn't for a quiet garden full of art. It isn't until he lays a cryptic finger beside his nose and winks at you that something clicks in your memory.

Remember, back before JK Rowling turned out to be an awful person, back when everyone read Harry Potter? EVERYONE, RIGHT?? Perhaps, dear Reader, you remember the chapter in book 5 where Hermione calls a meeting at The Hog's Head because it’s less crowded. Hermione figures the sparse crowd means that there are fewer people to see them together. Perhaps you also remember when, later in the book, this action comes back to bite them, and they are told very sternly that they should have met at the Three Broomsticks precisely BECAUSE it was busier. A busy pub meant they would have been less likely to be overheard.

Suddenly you look around the garden and notice the sparse, but very much there, collection of people. Just the right number of people that could listen to your conversation if they wanted to without you being any the wiser. Oh.

Oh.

Maybe the cryptic is a little bit necessary after all. He’s still overdoing it in your opinion, but whatever floats his goat.

You part ways after his tour, agreeing to meet at a local bar at 9pm. There’s enough time to go back to the hotel, freshen up, and get something to eat before you make your way there.

“Well,” Aziraphale says back at the hotel, “This Sardis certainly is a character.”

“I know the name from somewhere,” You trail off in thought. Where have you heard it before? Sardis…Tardis…Sardine….You’re not sure, but it rings a bell.

Anathema is already flipping through notebooks. Aziraphale has picked up his copy of the Bible, and Crowley is on his phone. You figure everyone else has it covered, and sure enough, it’s Crowley who finds it first. Google, no doubt.

“Ha! Found the sod! He’s in Revelation.”

“Oh!” You practically jump as recognition finally hits. “He’s one of the seven angels! The ones we didn’t think were here!”

“You didn’t think any of them were here?” Anathema asks, “Did you even check, or did you just assume?”

“Well Muriel said…” You go quiet, before clearing your throat and trying again. “We didn’t look into it far at all, no.”

“So exactly what work did you do before you called me?”

“Umm…….” You say.

“Nnngggh” Crowley adds.

“A great deal less than we thought at the time, apparently,” Aziraphale finally admits with a sigh.

“You are all really bad at saving the world.” Anathema shakes her head.

hey!! hope you’re doing well! i’m the person who wrote the narnia fic “first love, never die” and i just wanted to recommend a few fics that inspired me and made me INSANE. after ur comment i just. kept thinking “wow zannolin would probably love those fics i read last year….” so eventually i caved and here i am

number one for peter ptsd: “golden child, lion boy” by theandrogynousdragon . WHEN I TELL YOU I CRIED. you would love it, he’s so fucked up and full of anger and angst and suffering. the concepts in this fic made me ILL. oh god… i just reread it and i wanna read it again already i feel sick i feel crazy

next, a longer fic that’s still not too long with a similar past and present format to mine, with more caspeter and !!!!!!! really good sibling interactions and grief. “keep the faith” by adrianicsea . i’m gonna be ill. it’s super super good and beautiful and the sequel is excellent too and edmund-centric. also edmund is trans and that is explored and !! so good. it’s an angsty character-study disguised as a caspeter fic. the author has a few other posted narnia fics but i don’t think ive read all of them yet…. but i bet they are amazing. definitely recommend checking them out.

and finally we got “our battle cry shall be: ‘at least our leader means well’” by paperclipbitch . mainly caspian-centric, got some caspeter, and goes thru caspian’s life and angst and issues. also deals with the bitterness between caspian and peter and explores their characters. very good

"He sucks," decided Blanca, pointing at the screen. "Look at all those useless runs, he's gonna be exhausted by minute 25!"

Gavi giggled. Watching football games with a girlfriend that actually enjoyed the sport was nice. His past relationships had always been strained in that aspect. Yes, they understood football was his life, and some of them even liked watching his matches, but most would draw the line at spending the afternoon watching a Villarreal-Girona in a Friday afternoon, when they could be going out on a date.

He threw his arm around Blanca, and she pressed her cheek against his shoulder, a sigh leaving her lips.

"The women's Barça-Atlético Madrid is tomorrow..." she muttered, while the screen showed the players arguing over a corner kick. "It's an away game, so I'm watching it on TV. Martina has a thing with her family. Do you want to come over?"

Her dark eyes were shimmering with hope, but also with doubts.

"Of course," he said ignoring the screen for a moment. "I would love too. I don't watch as many games form Femení as I should," he admitted.

Blanca smiled softly.

"It's okay. I... I was scared you'd say no. Women's football is my life. I've rejected lots of men in basis of their opinion on it."

Gavi frowned.

"I... like that you're focused on that side of the game. It makes us have a common ground, you know, we both love football, but at the same time you have your own stuff completely separated from me." He looked at the screen. Akhomach was carrying the ball into Griona's side. "If... our thing gets out... It'll be easier to justify your career as something apart from me."

"Yeah." Blanca was quiet. "I still show up to your press conferences, though. Martina needs a camera woman."

Gavi grinned.

"It makes me less nervous, doing post match interviews with you there.

"Ha." She poked his side. "Football4girls won't last forever, though."

"No?"

"I mean, Martina wants to work on a proper program. Be pundit, like a Catalan Kate Abdo. And I want to be a women's football narrator. Once we graduate and work our way into our career paths... I'm not sure we'll have the time for it."

Gavi pressed a kiss to her forehead. The first time he saw Blanca, red hair and short dress, he thought she was the sexiest woman alive. But once he got know her in the bar, he realised she was also an ambitious woman, with very clear morals and goals.

"That sounds wonderful," he said. "You have the voice for it."

She grinned.

"And you? What will you do after retirement?"

Gavi shrugged.

"I don't know. Coaching, probably. Maybe work in La Masia. I still have time to figure it out, no?"

After the initial flahs of lust, and consequent, almost childish, infatuation, they had settled in a peaceful warm dynamic.

"But about us," he began. "I know that I want it to last."

Blanca lifted her head from his shoulder to look at him in the eye.

"I want it to last too," she said. Their lips met, as the narrator cried a goal from Girona.

After posting for 10 years about Karlie (it is my Tumblr anniversary tomorrow), I've decided I'm gonna be taking a break from it. I don't know for how long it will be, but right now I feel like it is the right thing to do.

This past week I've been reading and learning a lot more about what it is going in Gaza and between Palestinians and Israelis, and even though I probably still have a lot more to learn, now I feel like I have proper idea of what is going on and can form my opinion about it. And that opinion doesn't align with where Karlie stands.

I've wanted to wait, to give her the benefit of the doubt because she's human and can make mistakes like anyone else. But on that last story she's shared with Ronald Lauder's letter there are things that haven't sat well with me, and for now I can't keep supporting her if she thinks like that. If she agrees with that.

So I'm gonna be taking a hiatus from all my Karlie accounts. I would like it to be a see you soon instead of a goodbye, but only time will tell.

To everyone who has followed me over the years, whether you've interacted with me or not... Thank you. Thank you for this little community we created, it has meant a lot to me 🫶🏻

And even though I won't be posting about Karlie, I'm not disappearing, I'm not deleting my accounts. My dms and anons are still open, and if you want to talk about anything, fashion related or not, I will be there and I will reply to you. (( I created this blog for fun on my SPARE time, which is little to none because I need to worry about getting money constantly so I can eat. Not to make it everyone's problem but I literally haven't eaten anything today yet and it's currently 6:30 PM as I'm publishing this post right now. There is food at home but it's just one option, which I'm so tired of eating it constantly for being one of the cheapest things to buy, it doesn't satisfy me anymore and we're just halfway through the month. I don't have any source of secure income and I got four other mouths to feed ASIDE OF MY OWN. I am constantly overworked with my underpaid part time job as English teacher because neither my father or younger brother can help me checking these homeworks or exams, they don't know English language like I do, and I still need to balance that with drawing for commissions, which are the only way I got to get money during the month. My father is too old to get hired for anything. My brother is still finishing college, if only that shit would end their strike to continue classes so he can graduate still this year and look for a proper job, which will also probably take some time, it's not easy to get a job here.

And it takes a lot of time for me to draw and answer the asks in this blog, usually over 1 hour and half, up to two hours or even longer when there's all three pups + something else they're doing or for the background - that is, if I work on it non-stop, because I usually draw a sketch, it sits there for a few days, until I stop again to clean it up and draw the lineart, then wait a few more days until I go and color it to finish and publish the answered ask. I have some drafts with a doodled answer waiting for a week or even two, still waiting for me to finish the art and post them. I'm having fun with these on my own time.

WITH ALL THAT SAID, I cannot afford Magic!Anons that demand for specific amounts of asks to be worked on, no matter how many. You gotta understand it: If I would start the M!A effect tomorrow, the first ask with that effect would show up like, one whole week AFTER or so. It just does NOT work here. Besides, I have some stories going on in the blog, like this entire thing about Marshall's incoming deafness, which took me what, let me see... Two weeks and half since I replied the first Anon who started it and it's still not done completely yet. I still got another interesting story to start and entertain you all with it, this other one has been waiting sitting in this blog's drafts for literally ONE MONTH now. I'm not gonna interrupt them with side effects.

If you want to dare my pups to do something funny or silly, that's cool! But it'll go for only your dare ask and that's it. I'm not gonna disturb other asks or RPs. Magic!Anons are to be fun and short and sadly I do not have the time to have anything going on for too long like that, not when it's something that changes appearances, or whatever like that.

I am not mad, or angry. I'm just asking for consideration. I am an exhausted and probably currently underweight old artist who just wants to have fun and have some food to go by every day. I'm not a tireless art machine. I'm doing this for fun, every day I wake up I'm glad to have started this askblog and see how much you guys enjoy it and enjoy my portrayal of these pups we love so much, it always makes me smile and feel like I can do some more and keep going, despite all things being against me. But sometimes I need to be firm and say no as well. I have my limits.

I have been to some of the dark parts of the RWBY Fandom but I wanted to ask how bad do you think team RWBY is. Are they as bad as critics say? Some criticism is vaild and not everyone is gonna argee or like everything but Like I feel some people take it to far. Part reason I don't watch the show is because other than I can't legally I also don't want to ruin what I like about charaters. (Also unrelated I promise by tomorrow I will have one the spirits ask done for you)

First of all, take your time on your asks. I'm not paying you to ask just like I'm not getting paid to answer them. Go at your own pace.

With that said, let's move on to the part where I say something that everyone will hate me for.

For your prior statement, let me tell you something about getting into fandoms; there's always a dark part, a shadow that looms close by, separate, yet still attached. I have seen and heard many tales of dark aspects of different fandoms. When comparing the FNDM to them, I'd say we're probably pretty tame, albeit with a lot dirt and mud on ourselves while existing. Our dark parts include a lot of criticism on the show itself, writing bad and almost antithetical fan-fiction, and Grimm-Smut. Yeah, we're not perfect and we're constantly fighting each other over ships.

But at least we're not bullying kids into committing suicide. But at least we're not producing material that promotes the worst fetishes and kinks and illegal activity to ever exist. But at least we're not harassing innocent people and idolizing the worst human being in fiction. No, that's not us. WE ARE NOT THOSE PEOPLE.

In regards to the criticisms placed on Team RWBY, as well as the rest of the cast, I can see their points. But I can also see where those points fail at the most important point.

RWBY has its flaws, and it's not just the characters. A lot of criticism I hear is mostly complaints with solutions to "fix it" and "make it better". Nine outta ten times I don't want those "fixes" or "solutions" because they're not RWBY to me.

What is RWBY to me? I remember seeing a post explaining that RWBY is the story about having hope and holding onto it despite everything horrible going on. It's about how the most innocent of people can bring an end to the worst times of our lives. Yes, there's lots for me to gripe about, but to be honest, I think RWBY is just fine the way it is. Warts and all.

Here's hoping we see a proper end to this story and many more wonderful works to be born from it. That being said, here's to everyone out there reading this, enjoying RWBY and making something from your inspirations of this show. And as always...

I think the possibility of a whole new Season is pretty much dead, HOWEVER that doesn't preclude content drops anyway. I still believe the chances of at least minor additions here and there is absolutely still not zero. I just doubt we're getting new catalogs or proper *Seasonal Updates* anymore.

As for the catalogs themselves... my assumption is we'll begin seeing 1:1 reruns of entire previous catalogues.

Starting with """Drizzle '24""" (not a proper new Season, but each three months'll probably keep being called Drizzle, Chill, Fresh, Sizzle, so on) having a 1:1 rerun of Drizzle '22's catalogue, then """Chill '24""" having 1:1 Chill '22's catalogue, so on and so forth until all have been repeated, then looping basically forever until... probably when the Switch's entire online services are shut down (which if it's like 3DS and WiiU, will be *years* from now still).

Duplicate items will act the same as getting a duplicate from Shell-Out, repeat gear, etc. Predetermined banners/titles will probably just give you a random banner/title if you already own the predetermined one, I'd assume.

AAAANYWAY prediction time! This will be predictions based on both GrandFest related stuff *and* any potential future minor updates I think *might* happen, or I'm just hoping for and don't think the possibility is zero yet. Contains datamined info, so spoilers ahead.

First off, kind of a small one but I think the gear for the Alterna and Side Order Amiibos will be revealed as soon as tomorrow (as of me posting this). JP Twitter began making posts about GrandFest about four and a half hours ago. The last one of today states that the amiibo box will not be usable during GrandFest-they end the post with "...Amiibo, eh?" which in my head implies they're trying to maybe lead straight into their very next post tomorrow with something important amiibo-related, and I can't see it being anything other than a gear reveal.

...Unless? There's something *else* special we're gonna be able to use the amiibos for...? I'm personally leaning toward it just being a gear reveal, though. But not ruling out the possibility of it being something else, either.

Now, into bigger things... GrandFest is 1000% going to have some sort of cross over with Big Run. Seven rings. BIG Big Run was the seventh Big Run event. BIG Big Run clearly shows that the Salmonids are getting more aggressive. Just before that they were only invading one stage at a time, sending out just one King per Xtra Wave, but then suddenly in this seventh Big Run they launched an attack on all previous attack sites at once, and the Kings are teaming up now. Things are escalating. If I'm not mistaken FinalFests were usually five days? So GrandFest only being three seems... odd. Also by the way, dataminers found that GrandFest (codename SAND)'s code literally has a fucking handler for Big Run music. Why would a Splatfest need a handler for Big Run music, unless...? I think the Salmonids may flat-out invade at least one hub world. The Twitter posts about GrandFest say that you won't be able to travel to the other plazas during GrandFest, meaning in-universe there may be no Inkfish out and about in the plazas...... either the Salmonids will sneak into the empty town(s) while everybody's distracted with GrandFest, OR they could even just come directly to us to crash the party... either way leading to a massive critical emergency in which we'll need to fend them off.

In that case I have to wonder if perhaps BigBalloon and the six Bosses sitting in the files, who as far as I know are *still* present in the files meaning the devs still haven't scrapped them, may come into play here. GrandFest is obviously going to be kind of a huge event, the Big Run crossover that's most certainly happening may do something huge as well.

I just wanna see these bastards finally show up, BigBalloon and three of the six Bosses have been in the files since fucking Horrorboros was first introduced, they just added the other three Bosses into the files in Chill '23 (this just past Chill), they by all means seem to still be being worked on, as if the devs are still planning to or at least *want* to still implement them finally... BigBalloon, Balloon, Ghost, Wheel, Silo, Fish, Stick, where the hell are you all? Please!

Now for other additions probably unrelated to GrandFest:

● Third kits. THIRD KITS. I know a lot of people have lost hope but both previous games had some third kits and they don't need to be in a *major* update to still get added. It would be absolutely fucking bizarre if they had absolutely no third kits in their THIRD GAME, and for the first time in the whole series so far. I still have some semblance of confidence there will be at least Sheldon's Picks at SOME point eventually.

● On the topic of weapons: those two still-unidentified new main weapons found last Season are still in the files right now, I believe. Will we finally get them soon? Eventually? For those who don't know, even though one new main weapon for every class has now been added in updates, the devs seem to be at least toying with the idea of adding two more new main weapons... somewhere. Dataminers found two unnamed new main weapons in Fresh '24- while not much info could be gleaned about them, they know both of them are part of some sort of existing class, the devs aren't surprising us with a new class as far as we know.

● I wonder if they're cooking anything in regards to PvP stages. Lemuria rounds things off to perfectly fill the last page on the recon lists, BUT everyone noticed that last Season they explicitly called Bonerattle the final Salmon stage, while this Season did not call Lemuria the final PvP stage for whatever reason. Could be nothing. They could just assume we would know it's the last, maybe they're just suddenly starting to no longer state when something is the final something. Or.................

● I want more character customization please for the love of god, even just a couple hairstyles or something at this point.

● Literally any, ANY significant addition to Side Order. It's still pretty fun but could benefit from some new floor layouts, new weapons, new Cipher shop items to grind for, anything, even if just one of those things. I've made an entire post in the past about possibilities.

● I want the S2 Special Fest gear obtainable in 3 by some means. Whether it's somehow connected to GrandFest or added to Cipher's shop or what.

● I want a Triumvirate nerf of some sort.

● Maybe a Flyfish nerf of some sort, too...

● And some kind of actual real fix to Reefslider, no more of these random buffs that don't really resolve or counteract the issues people have with it.

● And tweak Ultra Stamp a bit- people are always able to shoot me dead from the front but I can never beat an opponent Stamp from the front (unless using my own Stamp or a Decavitator, the hitboxes for both of those can reach past their Stamp without any sort of interruption), it's like they get some kind of invincibility from the front that I don't. And the enlarged hitbox from a while back is still frustrating to be on the receiving end of. I say either A.) Make everybody consistently invincible from the front and shrink the hitbox some amount for balance sake, or B.) Make everybody consistently NOT invincible from the front and then it's probably fine to keep the hitbox how it is.

i think eventually mickey and ian can host sometimes. otherwise its hard to say cuz i have some different thoughts/wishes about what happens with the gallagher house after the funeral. but yeah i guess if we assume they all move out then lip/tami/liam/freddies place would probably end up being the most accommodating, also debbie and franny’s place because debbie loves hosting 😊

also do we think carl buys the alibi and becomes a bartender? i kind of like this idea, but that his version of the alibi is just slightly less of a “shithole” (elevated slightly by the money and ideas of former officer tipping) and therefore makes more money, so the fam still loves having parties there.

it's nearly 2:30am but i'm probably gonna have to go on a low activity notice for awhile. between my health, work, and this course i'm taking i just have no energy and i feel so bad keeping people waiting when i'm usually so quick. i'll make a proper post about it tomorrow but.

still alive. found out that if you tape an n95 (or equivalent) to your face with paper medical tape apparently you get like 99.6% filtration, which stacked with a vaccine booster even at the discouraging 70% efficacy rate for the badassfullest variants gets you to like a 0.35% chance of catching the covids, and (if my math is math) a 0.35% chance of *that* of both catching it and then passing it on, which is something like one in 80,000 odds. which is within a serious significant figure range of it not actually making a difference whether you go out to things or not, you still won't get anybody else sick. (don't make me figure out the probability. i slept through stats class. got an A, but like fuck do i remember it. i can do percentages and multiplying fractions on my head though)

anyway. so that happened. and then there was an email newsletter of all the weekly happenings in town. and i went a drag show and a drag queen recommended me a queer yarn shop, and i'm going to a knitting group tomorrow for the first time since lockdown. also there's a coffee shop that is also a bookshop, and a place specializing in anime merch (no lupin iii but i did find leia some cute original art), and a japanese botanical garden that i haven't been to yet, and a geology club that meets on monday evenings once a month and now that i can actually get out of work on time i can plan to go to there regularly hopefully maybe

anyway so then i was slightly less depressed and went to work today and promptly spent seven hours before lunch dealing with shit because my job is still what it is, but it's a little better when it's not the only thing i will ever have again

at some point i need to make a proper donations post because missing three weeks of work from one of the worst depressive episodes i've ever had does bad things to my ability to make the rent, but i'm pretty sure i don't have the math brain to do the math on that right now. i think i'm gonna be a couple hundred short but right now i'm just trying to decide whether to take a bath first or fall asleep and bathe later

Life Update

Hey, future me (I know I’ll come back to this post when things are better, and I’ll probably laugh at how cringy I sound). Writing a blog post to myself might seem a bit strange, I could just write my thoughts in my phone note or write an email to my future self. But hey, I’m doing what feels right, so here’s my life update from May 6th, 2024. Life… it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster lately. Just two days ago, I got hit with some pretty shocking news, and, honestly, I couldn’t help but let out a few tears. Even though it’s been ages since I last cried over life stuff, that day just got to me. I know crying won’t magically fix things, but it’s my way of letting out all the stress I've been keeping to myself. I’ve been praying so hard, asking Allah for some peace of mind and a smoother way ahead to achieve my goals. Don’t get me wrong, though, I’m not dwelling in sadness or feeling miserable right now. But man, I turned 27 this year, been trying to be a proper adult, while working hard chasing after those big dreams of mine, plus, dealing with the mess COVID left behind? It’s not an easy work (heeheee).

Anyway, I’m trying my best to take things one day at a time, not letting stuff I can’t control stress me out too much. And you know what? There’s still plenty of good stuff going on in my life right now. Whether it’s getting obsessed over my current favourite K-drama (although I already know I’m gonna feel lost and experience post-series depression syndrome once it’s over), catching up with old friends, or making new friends with people who just get me, who have the same way of thinking as me, there’s always something to smile about. And I’m beyond grateful that my family and friends are doing well in life and that they are healthy too. After my mom’s heart troubles from 2022 to 2023, her surgery earlier this year was a success, alhamdulillah. As for me, I’m set on getting back into my exercise routine, starting with a morning run tomorrow. Work’s as always full of deadlines and ideas block and so little time, but somehow I’m still managing to find the inspiration to design those websites for clients, especially when the pressure’s on hahahaha.

All in all, despite the drizzle, there’s still a lot to be thankful for. Even if I don’t always understand why Allah makes me go through what I'm going through right now, I’m positive that things will work out for the best because Allah's plan is the best plan. And even if it’s a bit stormy now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a bright, shiny rainbow. Just gotta keep giving it my all. I hope I will never lose hope and always be positive in facing things in my life, just like now, I hope that I continue to be the hardworking person who is always eager to be better and learn new things each day.

I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE GIRLS

Before you go "you should have been long time ago" i always have been but that worry has increased. As you can see, girls have been overworking since 2022. 2022 they released their 5th mini album "Checkmate" that followed their 1st world tour under the same name. Let's remember before the album release, they need to work on it and film everything, after that comes music show and variety shows, fansigns, after that came tour but before that they needed to practice for the tour. They go tour but at the same time they are preparing for the next album "Cheshire", the "Cheshire" promotion started along with the end-year shows and awards, they need also practice for those. Done now they go back to tour, while still on tour they start to prepare for "Kill My Doubt". According to Ryujin, they also worked on their solos which was on "Born To Be" album. Back to "Kill My Doubt", promotions starts, chances are they are already preparing for "Born To Be". The end-year shows starts, they have to practice for these again while preparing their 7th mini album "Born To Be" and also practice for their 2nd tour under same name. Let's also remember between those are also other stuff like fashion events and photoshoots and content.

If you deep thinking about it, it's crazy like they don't know what's vacation anymore. Tour started on the 24th and 25th, they went to paris on the 26th, show was on the 28th, left paris 29th, made back to the SK on the 1st, now it's 2nd and they are leaving to China and they probably come back to SK on the 4th since the fansign is tomorrow, on the 3rd. The next show is on the 16th, there can be alot of stuff happening before the next show and as far girls haven't gotten rest. It's crazy! I'm scared for them. i hope they don't collapse.

This the reason why Lia is on hiatus. Their schedule is so tight like when are they allowed to rest?! Girls haven't gotten proper rest since 2022 it's insane.

RENEW CONTRACT

I do not believe they are going to renew it. Again before you be "you basically want them disband". Yes but in a good way! I want to them leave this company to get this freedom from performing all the time. They mistreatment and overwork has shown that this contract will be not renewed. as much i love them, i only want good for them. I bet girls are also fully aware but they can't say anything.

If you have been GOT7 fan or are or have heard of them then you probably know they were also under Div2. They disbanded in 2021 but i heard they left company with the name, meaning they are still a group but under other company (feel free to correct me). Now stop reading and think why they left.............................figure it out? If no then the reason why they left was because of mistreatment and overworking. Remember they were also under Div2. What ITZY is receiving is what people call "The GOT7 Treatment".

It's not bad if you wish ITZY to renew their contracts in 2026 but you will be wishing continuation of their mistreatment and overworking. Remember they can't do anything but just accept the orders what they get. Also just add the promotions has gone worse and company doesn't buy ads for the music videos. The ads what you saw was fan bought.

OVERALL

I have meant to make this post for quiet while but i didn't feel like it until now when i saw they have flight to China like it was only 14 hours since they arrived back to SK. It's sad! The company or div2 haven't let them rest properly. Ending one tour to jump to other tour was useless. People also have wished to whole group to go little break while Lia is and i agree 100%. Or let the girls do individual stuff until Lia is back and do group stuff again. But what's the point if that is div2. I feel they rushed to make the 2nd world tour happen because they know they are not gonna renew their contracts so they rush ITZY do stuff since they have 2 years left but idk.

Just adding the Japanese releases too, they have to prepare for those too and probably there is one already working and will be releasing before their Japan shows which will be in May (I don't confirm anything, i'm just saying). And probably the next album is already works too. The rest probably never gonna happen for girls because of this shit ass company. Fuck Div2. Fuck JYP Entertainment.
