Why don’t you ship it?

I don't like Kaito's design and I don't think he has romantic chemistry with most of the cast. Again, I also have a bunch of other Kokichi ships I prefer to read about. (specifically Kiibo, Miu, Gonta, Kirumi, and Tsumugi)

What would have made you like it? if Kaito were written slightly differently. I'm sorry to Kaito fans. Kokichi and Nagito are funny annoying, Kaito was just annoying annoying, if that makes sense. Its an entirely subjective thing. Other character's negative traits (cough Tenko cough) were called out by the narrative, and it feels like his were just glossed over. Honestly, I just don't like Kaito and how he was written.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? I love love love trial 5 of drv3, and without them, it wouldn't be possible. It took Kaito from the worst character in Danganronpa for me (sorry Kaito fans!) to bottom five, and that is a huge achievement. Kokichi and Kaito not being as different as you thought they were is excellent foreshadowing for chapter six. Junko/Mikan is one of my favorite abusive ships of all time. I love it so much. 1. What made you ship it? Its a toxic ship, my one weakness! I specifically like how Junko was talked about in chapter three by Mikan. Tbh it reminds me of a past relationship I've had, in a bad way.

What are your favorite things about the ship? How little of it we see in canon. It gets the mind churning with so many possible ideas. We only see Mikan's POV of it, and Mikan is a very biased narrator from what we see in trial 3. What if... Junko did care about Mikan in some fucked up way? Thats way more interesting to me than woobie x emotionless manipulation machine the fanon portrays them as.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Pulls out comically large microphone THIS RELATIONSHIP IS MUTUALLY TOXIC, AND CANON!MIKAN WOULD BE AN EMOTIONALLY DRAINING PARTNER FOR ANYONE. THEY HATE EACH OTHER, AND WHILE JUNKO IS WORSE, MIKAN ISN'T A HELPLESS VICTIM LIKE SHE WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE.

(dr3's hypnosis isn't canon. I refuse to see it. I am looking away.)
