arania is perhaps not exactly  immune  to gravity magic, but it does not throw her off her game the way it would others. for one, she prefers to have the higher grounds in her fights. and secondly, short of illness, nothing can make her dizzy. this is something she found out after meeting lamia's ooba babasama who, true to form,  spun  her for one reason or another. additionally, she has no fear of heights. if anything, she struggles when gravity is increased as it effectively disables her agility, but even then, she is not helpless --- and she has to be actually  hit  by gravity magic, first.
