For those not in the know, the gift exchange is just what is sounds like! Upon joining, you tell me what you like to see in you gift. i'm leaving the fandom

so i already posted about this on twitter with a shorter explanation but after a long while of being in the undertale fandom, i've decided to distance myself from it. i'm not sure if i'll ever make a public return on any of these accounts, but for now i've decided that i feel this is what's best for me mentally.

i'm kind of surprised i haven't already, to be honest, but i guess for a good while i was able to focus on the passion and love i had for the game. nowadays, i've been finding it harder and harder to interact with the fandom as a whole - for a multitude of reasons really.

many of you are already aware i went through a stalking incident over asgore discourse, which lasted from late 2019 to 2023. it was the most traumatizing years of my life, and i don't even remember a time where i actually felt at peace with myself during those years. the only time i remember being happy was pouring all of my focus onto undertale even harder, just to try and cope with what was going on. it didn't help that at the time, my abusive family was blaming me for being stalked and telling me i was just doing this all for attention and that i loved the "drama" of it.

i really didn't want to do this, because it feels like such a huge betrayal of everything i've loved for so long (hi, i'm autistic and undertale was my special interest, in case you haven't noticed yet LOL) but at this point i associate too many traumatic memories with undertale, specifically the fandom.

since getting more into steven universe and browsing the fandom casually it made me realise just how toxic the undertale fandom is as a community right now. i mean, let's be real, it's always been this way, but i feel like it's gotten a whole lot more worse lately - more insane.

it honestly felt like such a huge breath of fresh air to go into a fandom tag that Didn't have any toxic sludge or people discoursing about liking certain characters (cough Asgore cough) and whether or not that makes you a bad person. it felt like total whiplash, seeing people discussing a show they liked and sharing fanart instead of seeing constant discourse about it.

i've also been seeing a lot of my friends go through absolute fucking bullshit lately, and it's honestly really stressful because it felt like my stalker incident was becoming a more popularized and public sentiment in the fandom. which... honestly is scary to me. people are becoming more openly hostile, more openly insane with their accusations. i've been trying to remain hopeful and optimistic about the fandom, but the more things that have happened, the less hopeful i feel.

i don't want to be in this sort of community. i don't want to be in a community where people feel glee in hurting others, tearing other people down and slinging around serious accusations because it makes them feel powerful.

i want to be in a community/fandom that makes me feel actual joy, and not a constant source of stress.

there's also another reason why i decided to distance myself online rn as well, and it's not really related, but it was enough that i feel incredibly uncomfortable going by the name "pixie" rn.

last year, a youtuber i knew decided to put me on blast and straight up called me an abuse apologist and that i should be avoided at all costs, all bc i quietly distanced myself from posting publicly about the situation and decided to avoid jumping to conclusions.

i don't entirely blame them, since there's definitely things i feel i could have done better, but a lot of what they said was already privately resolved between us, and they left a lot of that out in order to paint a false narrative about me. i mean they literally had saved hundreds of deleted posts from my deleted old social media accounts. i know this because they've done this before with other people. i also know that this comes from a place of hurt and anger, they're lashing out at a community they felt hurt by, but their way of coping with it isn't healthy.

because they had thousands of followers, i started getting a ton of harassment, from people saying i wasn't trustworthy and calling me an abuse apologist, and even private nasty dms i don't really want to get into.

i didn't say anything at the time bc i was worried i'd come across as attention seeking/manipulative but. i became straight up actively suicidal after this. i was convinced nothing was going to ever get better for me and that i was an active danger to everyone. my mum ended up dragging me all the way to the city literally just to buy me the macbook i wanted in order to try and cheer me up, and even then i felt so depressed that i felt like i didn't have anything to look forward to. honestly the only thing that really kept me going was my friends privately supporting me.

to put it short, it felt like a repeat of my stalker situation and i don't feel comfortable going by pixie anymore because i associate so much trauma with that name right now. i feel like so many people who don't have good faith intentions know me as that name, more than people i'm friends with.

i don't even know if i'll ever post on social media ever again, or at least not in the way i used to. if i do end up making a new social media with a new rebrand, you won't hear from me about it. i want to be more private now.

tl;dr if you're still reading this, thank you for sticking by me for so long. this ended up being a lot longer than i anticipated, but i think i'm done with the name "pixie", and i think i'm done with the undertale fandom for now.

Oohhh I get it now. But tbh if I'm going to be honest, at least proshippers hide their stuff away in their respective dark areas/behind safe walls and even tag and warn people about the dark content they make. Antis dont, they just invade places and engage in the said dark content just to get mad at it. At least from my own experiences from them. Idk I just see most proshippers as responsible in managing what they make, while antis don't. I actually got a taste of dark content from antis myself as a kid, in a lot of callouts made by antis lololol. And not because the proshipper were demanding their content be known. Its been like that even now actually, where dark content gets shoved in people's faces purely because an anti is trying to act like a hero. Though this is just my experience with them.

Another thing if you wouldn't mind, is that while it's true that dark content can lead to a lot of things in real life. I personally see that it has to be allowed to exist, because dark content shows the dark realities of life and that we shouldn't just leave it/ignore it. I seen victims of abuse for example, who had their experiences validated from reading dark content/about their abuse in stories. Or like the fact that a certain famous entertainment company doesnt want to show blood in their content because of "violence" in shows where kids and adults are watching, where some have pointed out that not showing even a small proportions of what violence can do (blood) will lead to a very naive understanding of the consequences of violence. Shocking because this is a western company, and the TV show in question involves guns and... you get the idea. Don't get me started on censorship and how that can get out of hand so easily.

I don't think I'm explaining this well but yeh. Dark content is needed and should be allowed to exist in my personal views, but should still be allowed to exist behind close doors and away from people who don't want to see it. You can delete this ask if it makes you uncomfortable, I'm just trying to put my two cents into this convo. But yeh, I prefer to live in a world where dark content exists and not one where its nothing but "wholesome" and "pure".

Oh no yeah I agree with you 100%, this is my exact stance on things and is a mirror to most of my experiences- hell, I like exclusively dark content and part of the reason for that is bc I came from a psychologically/emotionally (and sometimes physically) where 'we're all just a big happy family and you're ruining it you little freak' was a big problem. Stuff that's just pure and wholesome actually makes me feel uneasy and on edge all the time because I always feel like the other shoe is about to drop, while horror is comforting because I can read the situation and know what's happening. Part of the issue in my household also stems from the fact that my dad has an issue with differentiating fiction and reality (he suffers from untreated ocd and paranoia and a whole slew of other issues), and he used to blame the stuff I was reading for making me 'disrespectful' and 'cold' whenever I dared to have a negative emotion- hence me just seeking out more and more fucked up shit so that I could vent my anger without getting cussed out (though it also was bc I wasn't allowed to watch anything over a G rating til I was fucking. 16.). Without going into more detail, he used extremely similar tactics to antis and that's why I have such a strongly negative response to them, discounting all of the times where I had nasty run-ins with them. I very much hate all of them and it is because I had to deal with people like them my whole life. It wasn't fun.

I have very few actual squicks, and if I'm in a curious mood I'll also read stuff even if it disgusts me- and hell, sometimes their are exceptions. Captive Prince is a series I'm very fond of full of rape, csa, incest, and psychological abuse, but the reason why I love it despite the content is because it is a very compelling story about how horrible all that abuse is and how deeply fucked up it can make a person, as well as how awful the victim can seem when your pov is being manipulated by the abuser. The problem I have isn't content-based as much as it is the people, and, to the lesser extent, the tone of some of what they make.

See, what soured me on proshippers aren't people who are quietly making darker content and posting/tagging it properly (those are just normal writers and artists imo), I'm talking those who proudly proclaim themselves as proship, aka the vocal few balls deep in The Discourse who make it their whole personality trait. They're mostly centered to Twitter rather than Tumblr nowadays, but the problem with said vocal minority is that they are. Well. Extremely fucking annoying, entitled, tone-deaf, and just overall awful people. Almost everyone who proudly flaunts that they're proship is so balls-deep in the discourse that they feel personally victimized by anyone who shows any negative reaction to the gross shit they're into bc that automatically means they're a puritan, when sometimes it really is just an expression of disgust. Twitter proshippers are a whole different breed than Tumblr ones after the porn ban, but unfortunatly I keep getting their arguments shown to me when I'm on the site scrolling for furry porn and its...bad. It's real fucking bad. Not as bad as antis half the time but certainly not much better in how they treat people and their personal boundaries.

It's also the people who will take content that's pretty fucked up and spins it through a fandom lens that also gets me, though most of the time I just block and move on with a bad taste in my mouth instead of getting actually angry. And by 'fandom lens', I mean people who will take a rape/abuse/etc situation and then go 'oh but what if they're a couple with only a few pokes at the fucked up elements in canon. Ex, some (admittedly few, but they exist) people ship Mohg and Miquella as a reciprocal pairing despite it being a kidnapping and nonconsensual body modification incest-for-power situation, and that just...it feels so wrong. It's just so shallow and such a bad take read on a complex situation that I cannot stand it, it makes me want to run the opposite way. I have zero authority to force people to not do things ofc, I'm not a fucking cop, but those people give me the vibe of someone who'd not help you out with an abusive partner because 'oh but his posessiveness and controlling nature is just so cute, and he clearly loves you so its okay!' and that rings the alarm bells of someone that I do NOT want to be around even if it logically means nothing.

Does that make sense? It's a convoluted mess, but I hope I made it more clear that it's not so much the content that bothers me as much as it is the people and how they use it.

Hello! I'm the sole owner/admin of this blog. You can call me Mason or Millie, I use she/her pronouns (subject to change)! I read my first warriors book about 9 years old & was completely smitten all the way through elementary school, though I only got as far as the end of OotS & half of the first book of AVoS. That's where I stopped for good unfortunately, so I know virtually nothing about any books after that or any super editions (save for Bluestar's Prophecy, but who doesnt know that one really?). Because of this, and a general dislike for the way the books are written, I like to lean more on things like fan comics & OCS -- that's why I made this blog! I think about these cats quite a lot and so come up with a number of ideas for characters & plots, many more than can fit in my own stories; this is where I'll share them, as well as other folks' submitted ideas!

Posts may be very slow until I can start getting more submissions. Currently I am aiming for a post every other day. Thanks for reading :]

So what is Warrior Cats x Kingdom Hearts AU is about?

Well its about Kingdom Hearts but the characters are kitties, following the sames rules as in Warrior Cats such as clans, warrior code, starclan, etc... Why? Idk I love both universe so much so I decided to mix both!

Just a little reminder; this AU uses my OCs, so its kinda an AU of an AU? But it's not driving too far from the games, except that KH4 don't exist in the AU (at least for now)

Also there will be some; canon x canon, oc x canon and oc x oc ships, so don't even complain about that, you have been warned. If you have any problems with it, keep it to yourself.

Why do people hate the Hackle Ship so much? I get it's not everyone's cup of tea, but what's with the hate?

I personally think the person(s) that send the same annoying messages to the same people are just hateful and have nothing better to do. That's the only reason I can think of for someone to go through content they dislike so much and visit blogs on a regular basis that they hate, and from what I've noticed they're going for a lot of content creators so I feel like they are just trying to wear people down. I say that because I haven't received any hackle hate after I blew up and made a post about how I'd specifically make hackle consent because of them and it'd be there fault that there was so much more of it. “The shadows under your eyes are gone.” He says, suddenly startling you, and breaking your focus away from the soothing, but slightly boring, repetitive action of making a basket.

Lagertha had taught you how to make them a few weeks back, and now you made them whenever the Great Hall got too quiet for your liking.

“I’d say that’s what a magically invoked holiday does for you.” You replied, setting down the half-done basket.

“This,” Ragnar said, gesturing around the hall, “Is not what you call holidays. It’s only an easier life than one on a farm.”

You didn’t reply again, instead going back to work on your basket, but Ragnar sat down next to you.

“I remember the way you looked when you appeared in the farmhouse. Weren’t you crying over your lap-top?” Ragnar asked, still butchering the pronunciation of such a foreign word.

You gritted your teeth. “I was. My report for the last quarter got deleted and I had to do it again.”

Ragnar almost snorted, but a sharp look from you stopped him.

“It wasn’t very funny for anyone but you.” You shot back.

He sighed and moved closer, taking you in a side hug. “I think I understand.” Ragnar began. “Being an Earl is more comfortable in some ways, but being a farmer was easier.”

Aslaug

“It must be hard for you, being here.” She said, interrupting the silence of your ‘girls dinner’.

“It’s easier than I expected. And I can finally sleep through the night.” You replied.

Aslaug chuckled between her bites. “You couldn’t sleep properly? Wasn’t your bed much more comfortable?”

“I guess. But everything else wasn’t. It didn’t really get dark, it was always loud outside and I didn’t get enough sleep. I worked too long and got up too early. Here, it’s quiet and dark and I cant sleep for very long, but I don’t have to stay up until 1 am to have a life.”

She said nothing for a while, finishing her food.

“I foresaw you coming, you know.” She finally said. “But I didn’t think that the future would have such strange problems.”

You stood together weaving when she asked you if you ever got bored from the repetition of it.

“No.” you simply replied.

“But from what you’ve told us about the future, this must be about as interesting as watching the waves crash onto the beach.”

“Oh believe me, the landscape here is so stunning I could look at it for hours. It’s honestly soothing.”

“Soothing.” Lagertha repeated. “That sounds like you’re asking me to make tea for your throat.”

You let your shuttle sink from the weaving frame. “You may not believe me, but being here is the most peace I’ve experienced since I was 16 years old.”

“That makes your future sound taxing.” She said.

“Believe me, it was. But I’m here now, and even with your seasonal raids, I’ve worried so little it almost feels unrealistic.”

You had been to Spain before, but now, lying at the beach in your leather armor felt more relaxing than reading a book in a bikini in your times.

“What are you doing?” Bjorn asked.

“Relaxing.” You simply replied. And it was true. For once, you didn’t have to worry about money, or rent, or whether Russia was going to drop an atom bomb onto Ukraine or if the pandemic was really coming to an end or-

You stopped yourself. What was important was that you’d just patched up a few warriors after the raid and now you could enjoy the sun in a slightly uncomfortable armor.

“Relaxing?” Bjorn asked again.

“Yeah, you know. Just lying down, enjoying the sun. Not worrying for once.”

You heard him grunt and then sit down next to you. As he shifted in the sand, you smiled to yourself. He wasn’t used to your kind of stress, or your need for relaxation.

“I can’t do this relaxing thing.” He decided after 20 seconds. You laughed.

“Maybe it’s just not for you.” You said, stretching out on the warm ground.

“I don’t understand people from the future.” He replied, shaking his head. You laughed, enjoying your head being free of worries and the sun on your face.”

You’d finally figured out how to use a viking version of a kitchen, found tomatoes and a somewhat equivalent to cheese, as well as some smoked ham and onions. And tuna, but the Vikings had too much of that.

So, you made pizza – naturally. Some with onions and tuna and some with the ham and the smell was starting to spread through the Great Hall. You were almost done with putting all your pizzas on the table when the brothers walked into the Great Hall, probably done with their training.

“What’s this?” Hvitserk asked, eyeing the pizza with enthusiastic curiosity. Ivar seemed more suspicious, sniffing your pizza before backing off into his seat.

“Why did you cook?” he asked. “Don’t we have thralls for that? And why would you make that?”

“That, Ivar, is pizza and not poison, and I enjoy cooking to unwind. Didn’t really have time for it in the last half year, so I thought I’d do some catching up and present you guys with modern food.”

“You cook to unwind? What does unwind even mean?” Sigurd questioned, still hovering at the back of the Great Hall

“Like, not worrying that much? Taking a break from all the stress and-“ you stopped yourself, looking into their confused faces. They wouldn’t really understand, they were princes, for fucks sake. How to schedule Margrethe was their biggest worry.

“And you should try the pi-“ you began, when Hvitserk interrupted you.

“This is the best thing I’ve had in my life.” He decided through bites.

“That’s what Italian cuisine does to you.” You smiled.

Ubbe followed after that, taking a bite so large that the whole piece basically disappeared. They all ate in silence, even Ivar, until Ubbe set down his plate decidedly.

“This is what you do to feel less worried?” he asked

“Yeah. It really does help. There’s a lot of repetition in making the dough and you get to share something delicious later on.”

“I think I understand what you mean.” Hvitserk replied. “I don’t cook, but eating is very relaxing.”

You laughed together with Ivar and Sigurd and leaned back. They might not understand, but they were trying, and that was enough for you.

Yes, he does drop hints, at least he thinks so. The hints he drops are so subtle that you can’t even notice them with a magnifying glass. He’d be like “I literally coughed when the video we were watching started talking about roses. What part of this they don’t understand as a sincere confession of my deep, unnecessary feelings???” Poor man would genuinely be so confused about it like *crying emoji* until Phoenix facepalms and explains how he should be a little bit bolder with his moves. If you’re a particularly oblivious one, I can already tell that it’d take forever for him to get to a visible boldness level. Though when he gets used to it, he nails it. He always leaves you as a blushing mess with stuff like his intense stares and tender touches on your waist (without making you feel uncomfortable, of course) under the cover of “passing to the other side”.

Whenever Phoenix and Maya starts fighting over the accuracy of the sign charts, Miles positions himself as someone skeptical -- if not absolutely antagonistic -- towards astrology. It’s simply not logical to even imagine that the movements of literal pieces of rock could have an effect on his daily life, no. But when he gets into a relationship with you, he just can’t help it... He just can’t help but feel a crippling curiosity, what if Maya has a point? Searching it up wouldn’t hurt anyone, would it? No matter what the result is, no need to say that he deletes his search history after that, this goes for the love-tests too. I don’t think he’d get bummed out or happy about the results though, it’s just the curiosity that makes him do it hahaha.

👀 Are they protective?

Yes, he’s reaaally protective. He’s a prosecutor, and that means he encounters lots of dreadful cases during his career, and he can’t stand the littlest thought of someone causing harm to you. He subconsciously considers everyone to be a possible threat, but not out of jealousy, he genuinely cares about your well-being. He always introduces himself with his title, “Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth”, because he cutely thinks that it’ll intimidate the possible perpetrator candidates. But after you sweetly convince him that you’ll be fine without him, and that you can protect yourself just fine, he trusts you with all his heart and cheers you up with a smirk whenever you stand up for yourself in difficult social situations.

if you're a character purist (the "omg that's a minor!!" kind of person). again, these characters are drawings. please. there's practically no difference between a canon timeskip and a fanfic timeskip. it may not be 'canon' but the character is still an adult if they're written as an adult.
