i can tell which parts were written by riordan and which parts were written by oshiro. i don’t think their voices are blending very well together…

also, maybe it’s because it’s the start of the book and they’re trying to familiarise new readers quickly with the characters but it feels like they’re making nico the caricature of ‘emo and shadow and ebony darkness dementia raven way 🥀⛓️🖤’ and will the caricature of ‘happy and sunshine and blonde and flower gleam and glow ☀️🌈🫧’ and i usually like this dynamic when it’s not blatantly pointed out every other page. i have faith they’ll show more complexity than this later on though. future yan will let me know by the end. It will also delve into the relationship between Hiiragi and Shizusumi.

What would your advice for just-starting-out young authors be?

I love new writers! I’ve never known a better way to escape my reality and live a thousand different lives.

I started writing when I was young, maybe 12 or 13 years old. I am now 25, and very much consider myself to be a child, but still, in my 10+ years of personal writing and classes, here are some of the best tips I can give anyone who is new to writing, regardless of age.

Read. Read. Read. Then read some more. The easiest and fastest way to learn how to write is by reading and studying how other people have written their stories. Study their balance of dialogue vs description vs action. Study the words they use and what they’re choosing to describe. Study the scenes that make you feel something, or pull you to the story even more, and dissect it until you understand how to do it.

Daydream. At night, in the morning, before and after school, during school, during work. When people are trying to talk to you, just daydream. Image worlds with populated moons. Imagine worlds with multiple human-like species all living in the same area. Image a boy who goes home and cries to his adoptive vampire parents, and girls who practices knife throwing every night to prepare for the apocalypse that no one sees coming. Dream of everything and anything because that’s how you keep and improve your creativity. Eventually you may even write something with it.

Write for yourself. Always start by writing what you enjoy, and love your characters and your stories. Everything about your first draft should be because you love the story, not what other people like. You will never please everyone, so start with yourself, and build a community with the ones who love your story as much as you do.

Do it on your own timeline. If you want to write a book in a month, edit the next and publish right after, do it. If you want to write the first five chapters of 8 books without finishing, do it. If, like me, you want to write your first novel at 18 years old, and 7 years later still not feel ready to publish, that’s ok! You are not falling behind anyone else, you are exactly where you should be on your own path.

Practice. Your writing will improve with practice, that’s how it works, it’s how it always works. No way to skip right to publishing a first draft and becoming famous for it. Practice and just keep writing, you will improve.

Challenge yourself. While you may love fantasy or romance, or maybe all your story ideas are too big for only one book and they all end up being series’, you need to try new things. Write a mystery short story. Write poetry on how you feel. Write one page on how you could survive a zombie apocalypse as long as you have your coffee in the morning, it doesn’t matter, just try new things. Trying new things is how I wrote this haiku: Take a deep inhale, Breathe fresh air into my lungs, I savorfreedom. Is it the greatest haiku ever? No, but it makes me happy, and reminds me that I can write, good or bad, and still be proud of myself.

Keep all your projects. Good or bad. Look back on them years later and think, yeah that was terrible, at least I’m better now. Or maybe think, this wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. It’s a progressive journey. You can take your time. DONT EVER SHAME YOUR YOUNGER SELF FOR THEIR WORK. THEY TRIED THEIR HARDEST AND WROTE AS BEST THEY COULD. WE ARE PROUD OF OURSELVES, NOT EMBARRASSED OR SHAMED. Whether the work is from years ago or days go. Be kind to yourself, no one else owes you that.

Compare. Compare to popular novels, compare to your friends stories or to people online. Compare and see if your character are developed enough, or if your story makes sense, or if it’s relatable. When comparing however, keep in mind that your written style will be different than all others writers. Your first novel will not be the same as an author’s 10th book that just went viral on TikTok. It takes practice and time. Compare for style, technique, structure and plot. Not for popularity, worth, importance, and don’t feel down thinking that someone writing at a higher grade level makes them better, it doesn’t.

Share your work. If you are embarrassed, use a pen name. That’s perfectly fine. Put your work out there and get feedback. Having one person saying your story is (negative criticism here) is going to happen, don’t freak out. It doesn’t mean your story is flawed and should be tossed. If most people are saying that, then maybe it’s time to revisit the story and plot. Getting feedback from people reading your story is important, you want to ask specific questions so you don’t get generic answers. Get real reviews from real people, the mean voice in your head doesn’t get a say.

Learn the difference between perfect and done. I know, I know. Perfectionists around the world just scoffed and thought ‘I would if I could’. Here’s the thing, it’ll never be perfect. A word won’t be right, you can’t find the right way to convey an emotion, your choice of vocabulary isn’t up to your standards, I get it. You want your work to be absolute perfection so that everyone loves it and no one can say a bad thing about it, but it doesn’t work that way. Instead make it to ‘complete’, then nitpick some details, then it’s done. Done is good, it’s where you want to be.

Self-publishing? Pay for a professional editor and a graphic designer. It makes a difference, I promise.

There’s lots of others, but I would say as a writer-starter-pack, these should get you started, then you will learn lessons all on your own, or find them as you’re writing later on. Truly, just have fun, and the rest will come with time.

Or: LET'S CELEBRATE THE ENDING OF ATTACK ON TITAN WITH OUR FAVOURITE PASSAGES OF WHAT WE'VE WRITTEN!

If you're anything like me and you fell hard for this rabbit hole called Attack On Titan, you might have written thousands of words by now. The series are ending, but wouldn't it be great to celebrate it by sharing our favourite passages from our works? Any ship and any character! Some of our works might be so old that they are hard to look-up on AO3, too.

Day 10 of the countdown - Mikasa's semi confession to Eren in "I did not live until today"

And she finds the lyrics pouring out of her with ease, not caring about any looks from her peers, not caring about the deep gaze Eren is planting on her. Just singing about a love that maybe cannot be, about a love that she has always been feeling but never knew. Levi watches how she closes her eyes, she opens her ribcage, and she puts her arms wide, embracing the vulnerability when she sings, full voice, I love him but everyday I’m learning all my life I’ve only been pretending. Her voice embodies all the tragic and all the pouring overflowing sensations and the sunset and the dawn and the whole night, and a starless sky and also a sky full of stars, because Mikasa has made it, Mikasa has opened up and realized, she is in this world to love and be hurt, and there is no shame in crying, and there is no shame in feeling small. Because, sometimes, she will feel tiny. And, other times, her voice will make her as big as a giant ready to take the world. She hits the highest note: A world full of happiness that I have never known. Her chest is heaving, her arms come to her sides, as Mikasa’s eyes open again. There she is, black hair in a ponytail, long pink skirt and white wool jumper, her eyes not looking at anything in particular but, Levi knows, thinking about a very particular boy that is standing next to her —completely mesmerized by her, cheeks flushed—, and she sings, as if confessing: I love him. I love him. And then, happier, smiling: I love him. But only on my own.

7, 10 and 21 for the WIP ask!!

7– My favorite scene? Oooooo I think it’s the conversation between Danny and Leo where they’re having their heart to heart. The dialogue is some of the more emotional stuff I’ve worked on, so I’ll give you a sample!

Sour memories of his own childhood came to mind. Without thinking he spoke to break the silence. “I don’t have a good relationship with my Father either.”

Leo sniffled, the chair and his ropes creaking from a slight shift in movement as he attempted to look at the yōkai. “Y-you don’t…?”

“Nah.” Danny shook his head. “My father and I never had a stable relationship when I was your age. Ma passed when I turned twelve and it broke something in him. Told me I looked too much like her t’ ever speak t’ me. I didn’t wanna go into th’ family business, so he resented me for it. I always had bad role models growing up— I wanted t’ be like Clyde Barrow. I wanted t’ be rich and live a life where I had control of myself, be what I wanted. Truth be told I used t’ dream about bein’ a performer, one of those Fred Alastair types. My father never understood. Said I was delusional. Especially when I told him I was getting hired by Big Mama,” he scoffed under his breath, a light smirk playing at his lips with mirth. “He just about blew a gasket. Told me I was an embarrassment, I wasn’t th’ son he raised, I was better off dead than working for th’ competition. He told me ‘If yer gonna make this family look bad, ya ain’t welcome home.’ So… I left. And I never looked back.”

Leo, having grown silent to let Danny finish his story, sniffled as he piped up, “How old were you?”

“Seventeen.”

“… how long has it been since you saw him?”

“In person? Thirty-six years.”

Danny could almost feel the empathetic eyes of the slider peering over his shoulder. He didn’t need to look at Leo’s face to know that he was stunned. “I’m so sorry…”

“Isn’t a big deal t’ me.” Danny reassured. “I knew it was coming so I wasn’t too upset.” A somber chuckle escaped from him over the thought. “It made me laugh afterwards.”

“But…” Leo’s arms twisted around, trying to move, wanting to better look the man in the eye. “Did you ever regret it?”

He shook his head. “I kinda knew when I left that he wouldn’t give a damn once I was gone. He never made th’ effort t’ phone me or look for me. It was a part of myself I had to let go of if I wanted t’ move on. There were times where I thought I could give him a call, but… then I’d get cold feet.” Danny sighed, long and hard, giving a small shake of his head to clear the resentment. “I found a better family in all of you, anyway.”

“I probably ain’t th’ best person t’ take advise from, but I know one thing.” Danny looked back at the kid, trying to offer a kind smile. “Yer stronger than yer dad if he don’t see how important ya are t’ yer brothers.” When Danny didn’t get a reply straight away, he continued. “Ya wanna know something? When I met Kat, she would talk ‘bout how proud she was of her boys. She would tell me everything about th’ kids she was looking after. How brave and adventurous they were, how they kept fighting even when th’ odds were stacked against them, how they saved her from herself.”

“… she really talked about us that much…?”

“‘Course!” Danny twisted himself around as best he could manage, the ropes biting and pulling stubbornly into his arms from the motions. “You guys are th’ center of her world! It’s nothing but high praise! I could write up an entire novel’s worth of compliments she gives you. Ya might not realize it but yer mom loves all of you so, so much. If ya asked her for a thousand bucks she’d bring you diamonds. Ya ask her for a house, she’d buy you a castle. I bet if she could, she’d hang th’ moon and stars for you. All she wants is t’ make you happy.” The yōkai grinned, recalling the pride in Katie’s smile when she told him about the kids, about their achievements and their accomplishments. If there was any mother in the world that could be more proud of her children, she’d be the living example.

Leo giggled, a small sob stifled behind it. He swallowed, hesitating, gathering himself to properly breathe. “I-I didn’t think… I didn’t know we mattered this much to her.”

“You kidding?” Danny couldn’t help the incredulous tone in his voice. “I won’t be surprised if she breaks th’ doors down t’ this place t’ get you back. If there’s one thing we both know ‘bout Katie, it’s that she’ll stop at nothing t’ bring ya home. She’s gonna be here soon.”

10– “Fine,” Katie reluctantly agreed. “There should be a pharmacy two blocks down from here. Just… please be careful.”

With one of his signature sly smirks Danny leaned forward, planting a kiss on the corner of her mouth. “I’ll be in and out.”

for a very long time, the parks have been in hiding and were constantly moving around, until Estella suddenly got pregnant. She tells Minyoung, her husband, and he’s immediately ecstatic. It was very rare for a vampire to get a human pregnant, and now that Minyoung had gotten Estella pregnant, the 2 had to be careful, especially since he was a vampire and she was one to become after the birth of their son. There were cults in the vampire world, all around the world there were vampires, very few knew the history of them, while most people believe they were myths.

9 Months Later

The day where Estella gives birth finally comes, she’s at her last push and finally, the baby is out. Minyoung stayed by Estella’s side as the nurses helped her hold the baby for a bit before taking him to get properly cared for. “Do you have a name in mind, Mrs. Park?” the nurse asked, as Estella wondered for a bit. “Hm..” she hummed softly to herself, her faces stained with tears from the pain from a few moments ago, mixed with joyful tears. “Ezra.” she said with a smile as the nurse nodded with a smile, going over to the counter as she takes a birth certificate and writes down the name of the baby boy. ‘Ezra Alvarez Park.’ and just like that, the 3 became a family, but a family in hiding.

A few years pass, actually, a bit more than a few. Within those years, the Park family had grown. A Happy family of 10. Yes, 10. After Ezra, Estella had given birth to triplets unexpectedly, neither her or Minyoung expected it since she was already a full vampire, and it was very unlikely for her to get pregnant, the chances were very few to none, let alone being able to get pregnant with triplets. None of the 3 looked alike, it was hard to even guess that they would be triplets with how different they all looked, but they did resemble their parents. After the triplets, came another baby, at this point Estella and Minyoung were shocked, how could she get pregnant.. AGAIN? regardless of her being pregnant, they decided to love the baby, and like that, came River, yet again after a few months, came another, at this point both adult vampires werent shocked, they had wanted a big family anyway to begin with, so they only loved the babies they had more and more, then came Jasper, at this point, Minyoung and Estella hadn’t expected to get pregnant again, especially with how many kids they had now, but again.. they thought wrong, not too much later, Estella became pregnant with twins. “That’s it, after these two little stars are born, i’m seeing a doctor to get myself a ring or something down there.” Estella told Minyoung as he chuckled at her words. after the 9 months, came a beautiful baby boy and girl. Elvira and Everett.

Finally, Estella stopped getting pregnant, now 17 years later, all her kids were grown, they settled down in Seoul, South Korea after the twins were born, Minyoung knew it would be rare for anyone to ever think they were vampires, everyone in Korea mostly had perfect glass pale skin, similar to a vampires, so it would definitely be easy to blend in. And that, was just the beginning of their new lives.

After some years, 4 boys had gotten married and had kids of their own now. Ezra, Colton, Sebastian and Julian had kids of their own, of course the oldest and triplets still looked as if they were in their early 20’s, even if they were hundreds of years old by now.

Sebastian was happily married to a Woman named Sapphire, with 3 kids. 2 Boys and a Girl. Sebastian loved both his wife and kids to death, he would do absolutely anything in his power and will to protect them from anyone and anything.

One day, Sebastian had left the house around 2:40 am, he decided to go take a late night drive and walk by downtown, just to clear his mind, leaving sapphire and the kids at home to rest. As he parked his car and got out, locking it, he felt uneasy suddenly.. but ignored the feeling, moving on as he walked under the moonlight, watching cars pass by as he walked, digging his hands in the pockets of his sweater. Suddenly, he sees something flash by, as if.. it were another vampire? ‘No.. it cant be.’ he thought to himself, he knew there had been some people after them before, but they hadn’t come bother in a while, so it was hard for him to believe, with Sebastian distracted, a man had suddenly appeared behind him, harshly wrapping his arms around Sebastian’s neck and puts a cloth over his mouth, making him pass out.

An hour had passed, and Sebastian had slowly began to wake up, but when he tried to move, he couldn’t. His hands and legs were tied up to a chair, he panicked as he looked around, seeing a man in black walk out of the shadows. “Ah.. Finally.. after YEARS of chasing you.. filthy creatures.. i’ve finally caught one.” the unknown man said in a raspy voice, saha looking at the man, his power utterly useless in the situation.

Back at home, sapphire was still asleep along with the kids in their own bedrooms, since sapphire wasn’t latched around Sebastian as usual, they were touching and feeling around the bed so they could cuddle into him or hug him as they slept, but they didn’t.. feel him in the bed with them.. they suddenly woke up, their eyes glancing around the room as they sat up, wondering where saha was, they decided to get up and look around the house before deciding to call him. 10 minutes after looking in and out the house, sapphire never found Sebastian, so they decided to call his phone, which went straight to voicemail since it was powered off.

“Hm..” the mysterious man hummed to himself. “I wonder.. if sapphire is up looking for you by now.. you’re not with them in bed.. sleeping peacefully.. rather, you’re here! locked up in.. well. lord knows where right?” the man said, laughing as he shook his head and chuckled.

sapphire began to slightly panic since sebastian didn’t pick up his phone and his location was off. “fuck.. where could he be at this time of night?” they whispered to

themselves as they sit on the bed, running their hand through their hair as they wonder.

“lets.. call them up, shall we?” the man said as saha felt scared, not because of where he was, but because he knew what he’d say to them, would send them immediately into panic, and he wanted NOTHING to happen to them, let alone the man bring his kids into the situation. the man then dialed sapphire’s phone number, and sapphire immediately picked up since they thought it was sebastian on a different phone. “Sebastian! where are you? why didn’t you pick up your?-“ they were cut off by the man speaking. “oh dumb clueless sapphire.. like always.” he spoke, a shiver running down sapphire’s spine. “who the fuck is this? where is sebastian?” they asked, a stern tone came from their mouth. “who i am.. is not important, whether.. your husband, where he is.. and his well being should be your priority.” the man said in a low voice, sapphire’s free hand turned into a fist, their jaw clenching. “where the fuck is he.” they said, their tone filled with anger at this point since the unknown man was only playing at this point. “if you really want to know.. you’ll come find him yourself, otherwise.. he dies.” the man said before hanging up, leaving sapphire with tears in their eyes. “now, we wait! better show if they bring.. what were their names? haneul.. yuna and carlos? oh this is exciting~” the man said, sebastian trying to break free from the chair. “don’t you dare lay a finger on my kids.” sebastian said through the cloth in his mouth, the man turning to him. “oh i wouldn’t hurt them now.. i’m not evil. maybe.. evil enough for something else though.” the man said, then disappearing into the shadows again.

a week had passed by now, saha had gotten a bit thinner since he was being starved, and was only given water, he was weak, he felt useless without sapphire, his head was drooping low and he had no energy. sapphire on the other hand had been searching for sebastian, everywhere they could think of, and not a single place, did they find him. suddenly, an idea pops into their head. “ezra, oh my god.” they said as they snapped their fingers, and within 20 minutes, they were with the kids at ezra’s house. an hour had passed, the kids were with koa passing by time, while sapphire had just finished explaining to ezra the whole thing that had happened, and at the same moment, he was concentrating, why? because his power allowed him to find anyone in the world, as long as he had ‘taste’ of what their mind was like. and within a minute, he came back to reality, writing down immediately on a paper with a pen and address on where sebastian would be. “go here, and please.. update me on my brother sapphire.” he said as sapphire nodded, giving him a tight hug as they then run out, yuna alerted haneul and carlos, who quickly said bye to koa, and went running after their mom. “where are you going?” haneul said as saha stood at the drivers seat. “…. um.. to see your dad.” they said, and within seconds, carlos was in the back of the car, how? he shape shifted into a snake while sapphire was distracted, and snuck his way in. “we’re coming to.” haneul said as sapphire sighed. “no, you guys cant.” they said, but haneul and yuna were already in the car, buckling themselves in. “mom, it’s dad. believe us, we’re just as worried about him as you are. please, let us come.” yuna said as sapphire sighed. “fine, but you’re staying in the car when we get there.” they said, as they got in and started the car, driving off once they were buckled in.

2 hours on the road had passed, and sapphire had just parked their car at the address Ezra had given them. “this is it, STAY here.” sapphire said as she looked at all three kids, who only nodded. sapphire unbuckled themselves and got out the car, making sure to lock it as they walk quietly into the sketchy building. “are we actually?-“ yuna said as the door suddenly opened, Carlos outside already. “c’mon or the cars gonna go off!” he said as yuna nodded and quickly got out, haneul following right out as they then close the door, waiting a few seconds before clearing the coast. “we’re good, it didn’t beep!” haneul said as they then waited a few minutes before following sapphire where they had gone into.

sapphire was walking down a hall, seeing some stairs that led to a basement, deciding to go down, they made some turns, finding some empty rooms as they got chills, suddenly they walked up to a door, their hand shaking as they twisted the knob slowly, opening the door as they walked in slowly, seeing sebastian on the chair, hopeless and exhausted, seeing how much thinner he had gotten as they run up to him, wrapping themselves over him as they begin to sob. “oh.. my baby. i’m here now, hm? let me try to get you out..” they whisper as they try to undo the knots around his legs and hands, sebastian opening his eyes as he looks down at them. “s.. sapphire?” he says in a low voice. “yes baby, i’m here now, okay?” they whisper as they look up at him, but sebastian shook his head. “no.. it’s dangerous.. you need to leave..” he said as sapphire ignored him, trying to still undo the knots. the 3 kids were walking down the same path sapphire had taken, being as quiet as possible as they stand behind the door to where would show sebastian and sapphire, hiding in the dark shadow as then suddenly sapphire turns around, hearing a soft chuckle. “tch tch. clueless sapphire.. like always.” said the man, 2 more coming out as they walk up to sapphire and pick them up, holding them back as sapphire shook their head, kicking and trying to get out of their grasp. “leave.. my wife alone..” sebastian said, his voice low and quiet. “aw, still think we’ll listen? too bad the kids aren’t here to watch the show..” the man said as he suddenly pulled out a gun, a pistol, sapphire’s eyes widening at the sight as tears begin rolling down their eyes, they couldn’t use their power since nothing could be used for them to hurt the 3 men. haneul crept in quietly with yuna and carlos behind him, staying still as possible in a corner as they watch.

the man walked up to saha, shaking his head. “pity. you had a beautiful family sebastian..” the man said as they pointed the gun to his chest. “i guess i’ll do what i do best, ruin it.” he whispered as sapphire sobbed. “NO!” they shouted, their shout echoing as haneul flinched a bit, squinting a bit as he saw, shaking his head. “no..” he whispered as yuna gasped, but carlos covered her mouth immediately so they wouldn’t be spotted, tears rolling down her cheeks already as carlos hugged her tight.

“no stop! stop! no!” sapphire sobbed out, squirming in the men’s grasp, trying to get out and get to sebastian.

sebastian looked up, his eyes showing he was exhausted and drained, looking at sapphire with a very small weak smile. “i love you.. sapphire, with all my heart.. tell the kids i love them to-“ he was cut off by the trigger going off, silence fell as yuna broke down. “daddy!” she yelled as she ran out of carlos’ grasp and to sebastian, hugging him as she sobbed, the men dropped sapphire as they fell to the floor. “the kids were here? that was unfortunate.. for them.” the unknown man said as he disappeared again with the 2 men, but before they could get anywhere, they were attacked by a wolf, huh? where did that come from.. ? carlos. he had shape shifted into a wolf, something he had struggled with before, but anger rose in him and he was finally able to do so, tearing the men down into pieces as yuna sobbed, sapphire running up to the 2, holding onto sebastian’s now lifeless body. “no.. im so sorry i didn’t come sooner.. i didnt do anything to stop this..” sapphire sobbed out, haneul cried, but stood behind the 2 girls, closing his eyes as he made a promise to sebastian, to always look after the family now, to love and protect them the same way he had done, and step up to better brother to the twins. “i love you.. dad.” haneul whispered as he looked up, a clear glass ceiling showing the dark sky, filled with stars.

not sure if this will get any views.. but i want to put out that this is my first time writing something like this. i like to write for fun, and with a friend, thought it’d be nice to write a plot and write it out! (eve) !! i am a minor! i dont have intentions to ship these idols together, just give a little bit of a view on how the characters look. if anyone does end up reading, i hope you enjoy !! :)

Batkids and Superkids Young age au

Okay, heads up that if there’s select characters that you wished to see which are excluded for the Headcanons I have in mind at the moment, I offer my apologies in advance.

That being said,

First, for at least two of the Robins;

Dick (10 years old) and Tim(my) (3-4 years old)

- Often times, whenever little Timmy ends up getting nightmares or just can’t sleep in his bed for whatever reason, he goes to Dick’s bed, sneaks into his big brother’s arms and listens to his heartbeat to be lulled back to sleep. Dick can’t help but smile in his sleep when Timmy comes to him

- One of Dick’s favorite things to do with Timmy is laying on his back on the carpeted floor and gently lift his baby brother in the up air with his two feet. Timmy feels like Superman when Dick does that for him

- Timmy’s favorite show to watch every Saturday morning is the Crocky Show. Dick and everyone else can always expect Timmy in the living room clad in footie pjs and holding a plushie no doubt Crocky themed for the occasion. It’s something of a tradition by this point

- Some nights, especially on weekends, Dick and Timmy would no doubt build pillow forts and play as Batman and Robin respectively

- During a class project in Timmy’s class in which they write a small paper on who’s their favorite real life superhero, Timmy picked Dick but kept it as a surprise until he read it (despite his stage fright) to said class and their parents and siblings. After he was done, Dick came up to him. Timmy asked “Did you like it?” Dick, with some happy tears forming in his eyes and a big smile on his face replies “I loved it. And I love you too, Little Wing” the two then hug 

And now for two of the Kent kids;

Chris (6 years old) and Jon (4 years old)*

- Chris first arrived to Earth from the Phantom Zone in an experimental pod that crash landed in the heart of Metropolis, with Superman catching it to soften said landing. After some STAR Labs testing that indeed confirm his Kryptonian nature and Government related shenanigans which Clark had to first free him and then clear all it up with them (with no doubt help from Oracle), Chris arrives into the Lane-Kent home, almost immediately meeting with their firstborn yet technically now younger son Jon.

- Little Jon took to an almost instant liking to his newfound Big brother though Chris, while liking him and feeling welcome, was a bit shy to decide Jon being a little brother outright, due to still feeling like an outsider to this newfound family and felling like he can get sent away at any moment. Not helping of course are his memories of his time in the Phantom Zone under the iron fist and tough parenting of his birth father General Zod starting to reform once again in his head, in particular in the forms of nightmares he gets

- While he might not fully understand and grasp what make Chris sad in his sleep just yet, Jon sometimes wakes up overhearing Chris’ fearful shaking and cries in his sleep, guessing correctly that his dreams are scaring him. Little Jon would then sneak some cookies and milk for the both of them for the night, something to help making Chris comfy enough to go back to sleep

- Over the course of the next few weeks and months, the two bond ever so closer. Even though little Jon at the moment doesn’t have superpowers in contrast to Chris, he’s not jealous about it. While he says superpowers are awesome, little Jon would be more of a ‘maybe when I’m a big boy than I can fly around like Daddy and Chris do, so I can wait’ type

- Chris is given the second slice of the cake at Jon’s 5th birthday because Jon insisted that he does since, in his words ‘he’s my big brother and I love him forever’. Chris almost immediately hugged little Jon as a result before finally taking his cake slice. Lois and Martha got photos of that moment still saved in their family photo albums

I wasn’t named after anyone. My name is pretty unique (I’m pretty sure my parents were on drugs lol)

2. Last time you cried?

Yesterday when I saw a post from @mister-s0013 about a 4 year old dying after an exorcism so I googled it and found way too many cases of this happening. Children are my soft spot.

3. Do you have/want kids?

I am a proud boy mom 💙💙💙 I wanted a little girl so badly, but after having nieces, I am so thankful that I didn’t have a daughter. I think they come out of the womb with an attitude lol

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Me sarcastic??? NEVER lol

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Their sense of humor (if they have a dark sense of humor and/or love memes, they are automatically my bestie) Also, one of the first things I notice is how their mind works. I am drawn to people who are brutally honest like me (don’t just tell me what I want to hear) and who are passionate about certain things but not judgmental and like to discuss different subjects even if we don’t agree on them because I learn a lot from listening to different perspectives on subjects. (I’m a huge nerd and love learning)

6. What's your eye color?

My eyes are hazel. They are usually more green, but it depends on what I’m wearing, and they can get really blue when I cry.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

I like both. It really just depends on my mood. I love being scared, but not when I’m all by myself. I love movies with twists. I get bored with predictability (probably because I’m so random and impulsive lol)

My favorite subject in highschool was Bible (I went to a Christian school, not by choice. I begged my mom to let me go to public school and she refused 🙄🙄🙄) because I loved aggravating my Bible teacher by asking a million random questions that would distract him from his boring lectures. (ie… Is it a sin to have oral sex before I’m married? Is it a sin to take shrooms that we find growing naturally in the cow pasture? etc.) And if his answer was yes, I always asked for an explanation as to why. He would always divert from his planned lecture and answer my questions (the class was very appreciative lol)

15. Dream job?

I actually do what I love now… designing and making things. Although, it would be nice to get paid just to sit around and color with glitter pens all day lol. Due to getting pregnant as a teenager (Thanks mom for refusing to discuss sex other than to say NO sex until you are married 🙄🙄🙄) I could no longer go away to college like intended to become an attorney, so I stayed in the town I lived in and got my degree in Accounting. 10/10 do NOT recommend (It is super boring and due to ADHD I can’t sit at a desk and deal with numbers all day everyday and during tax season, everybody and their momma wants you to do their taxes for free and get them back thousands of dollars 😂🤣😂) Long story short, life is too short to be stuck in a job that makes you miserable, so I am super thankful to be doing what I love❣️

And here I was thinking I would get away with never being tagged. I don’t typically join in on this sort of thing yet from all the ones I’ve seen, people seem to be enjoying reading them so maybe I should thank @zoeoe-sims and join in with the community more.  ​ Are you named after anyone? No, however my mother and her friend were pregnant at the same time neither knew the gender of their baby. The friend liked the name my mother chose and asked if she had a girl could she also use that name? my mother said yes but asked they spell it differently as there are 2 common spellings for the name. So I have a childhood friend who is older than me yet named after me in a way. She has an additional e in her name which I guess is the more common spelling where I live now as I have spent most of my life correcting people.  When was the last time you cried? I think I cried during a k-drama yesterday. Do you have kids? yes, I have 4 beautiful boys. Aged 10, 9, 7 and 2. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Not particularly. What sports do you play/have you played? I’ve never really been one for sports. And this was more a hobby than a sport as I never raced but in my teen years I did motorcross.  What’s the first thing you notice about other people? I don’t get out much but I’d say I notice if they have children or not. What are your hobbies? Other than creating for the sims 3 I like to draw, mainly Celtic knotwork. I developed my own personal style. I also like to do origami and I cross stitch Christmas decorations every year for my children, nieces and nephews. Do you have any pets? yes, 2 dogs. Our 4 year old girl is a staffie x whippet and our 2 year old boy is a border collie. My School President Live Blogging

Wow, am I finally getting to this show? The last episode comes out in a week so this is perfect timing for me technically. I'm still pretty caught up on Beyond Evil and Lee Dongshik/Han Joo Won but I believe the show can hold my attention still.

Very good last episode. Gave us some angst and tied up some loose ends in the first half. Made me sooo giddy in the second half.

Overall:

I really liked it, especially for what it was: a cute, endearing high school BL with really endearing leads and good acting and sometimes turning tropes on their head.

I didn't love it or obsess over it the way some people seemed to but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I also loved so many of their faces lol Fourth and Prom my favourite beautiful faces but Gemini and Satang are beautiful too, not to mention Gun's mother whew!

This made me giddy and the OSTs are great and there's clear effort from the cast and crew. I liked the dynamic between the characters, whether it be how Gun and Tinn took turns being bold and shy or the parent-child relationships or Chinzhilla band. I might increase the rating by 0.5 if the characters continue giving me brainrot.

I love tbhk so much the art, the story line, and honestly I’m attached to the characters. I think my favorite arc was the picture perfect arc. It made me uncomfortable, uneasy almost. I don’t even know how to describe it. I haven’t read it in over a year .SPOILERS AHEAD. I have a lot to say about this so good luck

- vol. nine was where the book got dark, more than it already had been. And the uncomfortableness of the arc made it my favorite. the whole concept of this arc is unsettling in itself, living in a fake world and loosing your memories/ sense of reality. In this chapter instead of Hanako fighting against his brother, his actually playing along to protect Yashiro, who is inevitably going to die soon. In this world she can live. It’s whatever you want it to be. It starts off almost happy, and dreamlike, with kou and nene realizing both Hanako, and mitsuba are alive.(not ghosts) and in Hanako’s case, he’s Yugi amane, the boy he was before he died, and took on the role of #7. It seems like a dream, nene gets to live with Hanako as a normal boy, and kou gets to see mitsuba again. The eventually realize it’s fake and created by #4(mei) they try to find ways to escape, when #4 tells them the only way to leave is to kill the “main characters” who happen to be Hanako and mitsuba. At the end of vol. 10, it’s revealed that Hanako is trying to keep Yashiro trapped in the fake world, in order to save her life- knowing she will loose all of her memories of her old life, of him, and he will never see her again. This was the first time in the book Hanako was seen as the villain, and I honestly love it. The world was originally created for mitsuba, to live as a human again. Somehow Hanako got dragged into it and played along with his brothers antics for once. - also, mei shijima basically tried to commit suicide by going back to kill her old self before she painted the tower that made her into a rumor. She was already dying, and her rumor was that she committed suicide after that painting b/c her parents didn’t approve of her art. She wanted to kill herself to prevent herself from becoming a rumor. They end up escaping in the end and everything is fine and cool ( accept Yashiro’s impending death) but this chapter was once hell of an emotionally rollercoaster for me. There’s so much more of it I probably missed, yk I try my best.

It also reminds me of a question that was brought up in my fiends philosophy class called “the experience machine” or something like that. It’s what they called it at least, you are given a chance to create a perfect reality for yourself, and you wouldn’t know anything changed. You could be what we you want, life could be whatever you wanted, but the people who knew you would know you’re gone. It would all be fake, but would you do it? Would you take the the chance and go in the machine? It’s the same thing accept it’s to save another, not yourself. Will you send someone else to a fake world, a perfect world even, knowing you’ll never see them again, but to save their life. Even if it is against their will in this case.
