terminator 3 is not a real film to me, but the idea of a john connor, alone after his mother’s death, living in a world where skynet seems to have been stopped before it ever started, yet he has been raised from birth to defy it. what does a messiah do when he has no one to save?

#i’m literally not okay. imagining him all alone. assuming skynet is defeated but never really knowing #having such a huge criminal record that it’s difficult to ever settle down. let alone the paranoia #the loneliness due to the disconnect he must feel to everyone his age #his mother passed on the isolation of knowledge and fear #hereditary trauma. he has no one he can relate to and no one will ever believe him.#and he doesn’t even know if the future he’s aware of will ever realise itself #stuck in limbo.#terminator #john connor #terminator 2
