I love your writing! Could I possibly get a Slasher X reader. One of the Reader ending up in the hospital for whatever reason. It could be over sickness or getting injured/hunt.
Slashers React to Reader Ending Up in the Hospital
Slashers x Reader (Separate)
Warnings: Mentions of injury, illness, and killings
A/N: Thank you so much! Some of the Slashers were written outside of the hospital setting since I don't think all of them would be comfortable stepping out into public. I hope you still enjoy though!
Freddy Krueger
Freddy decided to pay you a visit in the real world when he hadn't heard from you in a few days
It wasn't like you to not say anything, and he was starting to get worried
But when he checked into your bedroom and found you nowhere in sight, he quite literally freaked out
(He may have visited some of your friends that night and threatened them to find out where you were)
When he finally found you in the hospital, he was even more worried
You could barely talk and your eyes were horribly bloodshot
It was only when you began coughing did he realize what was going on
"I haven't been able to close my eyes for more than 20 minutes without coughing" you hoarsely whispered to him
Despite wanting to take you back home with him, he knew better
He wasn't exactly a doctor, and he cared more about you getting better than you visiting him
So he let you be
He did help you with falling asleep though
And he visited you every night until you got better
He killed a couple nurses that he stated weren't taking care of you well enough though
Michael Myers
Yeah, he's pissed
He comes home, and you're not there?
Livid
Mostly at the idea that something happened to you, but he won't admit that the idea of you leaving him may have crossed his mind a couple times
But when he finds a note stating you were going to get yourself checked out at the hospital, he immediately heads out without a second thought
You have no idea how, but he sneaks in without anyone noticing him?
He immediately rips the blanket off of you and scans your body, trying to pinpoint what is wrong
It's only when he sees your bandaged leg that he meets your eyes
"I was trying to clean your knife, and it slipped..." you said like a kid about to be scolded
He shook his head at you and then lifted you into his arms, carrying you out of the room
While walking out, you happen to notice several dead bodies laying on the ground, blood pooling around them
Ah, so that's how he got in
Jason Voorhees
It was after the 5th night of not being able to breathe fully that you gave in, deciding to go to the hospital
You told Jason it would be super quick, but after a few hours, you still hadn't returned
Instead of just waiting a little longer like a normal person, Jason assumed that something terrible had happened and decided to make a public appearance
(Something he doesn't do often)
He headed into town and located the nearest hospital
Luckily, it was late by now, and the hospital wasn't quite as busy as normal
When he stepped inside, he just slammed down a piece of paper with your name on it, the front desk worker frantically typing in the computer
With how Jason looked and the size of his machete in tow, nobody even bothered to question him
When he was finally pointed to your room, he immediately picked you up and walked back out with you
After finding your doctor and making them give him your prescriptions, he was off to take you back home with him
He wouldn't dare spend even a single night without you
Thomas Hewitt
With the amount of meat hooks, knives, and scrapped bones around, it was a surprise you hadn't gotten into an accident sooner
You were a pretty clumsy person in general, so when you stumbled over a little dip in the tile floor of the kitchen, you instinctively reached your hand out to stop yourself
You managed to not hit the ground, but you sacrificed the palm of your hand in the process
A large butcher's knife was sitting on the counter, and it had sliced right into your skin
Thomas was rushing to your side in a hurry, frantically smooshing towels onto your wound to stop the bleeding
Despite his protests, you insisted on going to get looked at in the hospital
You were certain your hand was going to need stitches
While you were out, he just sat on the couch the whole time, staring at the wall
You promised to be back later, and so he trusted you
But there was no way he was going to be productive with you gone
Once were finally back, Thomas was quick to give you princess treatment
He makes you lay in bed while he brings you food, treats, and cuddles
He'll be watching you like a hawk for the weeks to come, that's for sure
Bubba Sawyer
Bubba was quite literally hanging onto your ankles as you tried to make your way through the door
He was blubbering like crazy
But this stomach flu you've been dealing with was making you miserable
You needed some type of medicine to sort yourself out, although Bubba disagreed
You told him you'd be back soon before giving one last shake and running out the door, leaving Bubba whining after you
He was yelling at basically everything and everyone, frantically storming around the house until you came back
He knew he wouldn't be able to go with you, but he hated you going anywhere by yourself
He was only calm again when you walked back through the door a couple hours later, some weird looking pills in hand
He'd be all over you after that, refusing to even let you go to the bathroom by yourself
And unfortunately for him, this attachment to you resulted in him waking up with the same stomach pains you had just a day later
At least you still had some medicine left, right?
Brahms Heelshire
So there's no way in hell Brahms would ever let you go to the hospital
When you accidentally tripped on the stairs, knocking yourself unconscious during the fall, Brahms was going through a mental breakdown
He didn't know how to help you
And despite all the shaking and slaps he could muster, nothing would wake you up
He finally gave up and decided to call 911
When the ambulance showed up, they were met with a grisly surprise
One of the medics was immediately killed upon entry, and the other was held at knife point, forced to call back and say everything was fine
Brahms then forced them to help you, watching their every move
It was only once your eyes fluttered open that his body relaxed
He quickly disposed of the other medic, immediately tending to you
But don't worry, Brahms would deal with the bodies and the ambulance later
He did it for you after all
Norman Bates
It was actually Norman's idea for you to go to the hospital in the first place
It wasn't like you to be dealing with a cold for this long, and he was beginning to get worried
He happily drove you there, patiently sitting in the waiting room as the doctor took you back to check you out
With a couple prescriptions (and a hefty payment) later, you were back at home with him, relaxing in bed
Norman made sure you always had some tea to drink and soup to eat throughout the night
He even ran the bath for you in hopes of opening your sinuses
He just seems like a normal, doting partner
But if the medicine doesn't seem to help soon, Norman supposes he may need to pay the doctor another visit...
Just to talk things over, of course
Billy Loomis
It's just a little cut, why do you need to go to the hospital?
You shouldn't have been playing with his knife in general
He told you it was dangerous
But he can take care of you himself, he's sure of it
But when he finds you gone just a few minutes later, he immediately becomes tense
Great
With a loud sigh and a few curse words later, Billy is out the door and driving after you
When he makes it to the hospital, he just storms inside
He ignores all the calls from staff to "come back" and to "not go in there"
He finds you talking with the doctor, a look of shock on your face
(You're not exactly sure how he knew which room you were in)
"Are we done here?" Billy grumbles
"You shouldn't be back here"
Billy rolls his eyes at the doctor
"Does it look like I give a shit?"
And with that he, grabs your hand and walks you out, being mindful of your bandaged arm
You're still not sure how you haven't received a bill from the hospital yet
In fact, you haven't heard back from the doctor at all in the past few days
Huh, weird
Stu Macher
Nothing about Stu is calm... ever
So the moment he realizes you aren't home at your normal time, he flips
Probably tries to call and text you numerous times
He even calls Billy who's like "how am I supposed to know??"
When you finally send a text back saying that you went to the doctor's, he quickly responds back saying he's coming to get you
He storms into the hospital like he owns the place, immediately asking the staff where you were
If any of them refuse, he gives them a wicked smile that makes them all uncomfortable
They give in quickly
Stu suddenly barges into your room asking "what's wrong" and "who hurt you?"
You almost laugh at his worry since all that happened was you falling due to being clumsy
He just sighs and shakes his head
"You should have called me"
Once you're all ready to go, he just walks out with you with your arm wrapped in his
He says goodbye to all the staff like nothing ever happened, but they all look a bit fearful
Eric Draven
After fighting with the flu for a good week, Eric decides he should take you to get checked out
Despite your protests, he insists he needs to take you and stay with you (just to make sure they hear you out and give you what you need)
Eric wouldn't hurt or threaten any of the hospital staff, but his presence alone is enough to make them feel intimidated
You're practically in and out within just 20 minutes
"That wasn't so bad, right?" he teased
You just give him a little shove
He pretty much dotes on you for the time being until you get better
Unlike most of the Slashers, Eric has no issues with you going to the occasional doctor's visit
He cares a great deal about your health and always wants what's best for you

Chapter 62: Born to be Wild
Wednesday 12th, 1977 - 08:20 AM
“So? You think she’s too hurt?” you asked as you leaned over the Slytherin table.
“You said she crashed on the floor and rolled a couple of times, yeah?” Solacis asked. He was the one person you knew had a lot of knowledge of owls, so you had gone to him as soon as he appeared at the door.
“Yeah, she was trying to crash onto me, but I got out of the way.”
“And she bit you?”
“But that’s been taken care of,” you said reassuringly. “I’m worried about her, though. She was stunned. I don’t think James used much strength but–”
“But she’s way smaller than a human,” Solacis nodded. Nieve was still asleep, but she stirred as Solacis extended her wing to check on her. His delicate pale hands were softly touching her feathers when Nox and Regulus arrived at the table.
“Hey, Vix,” Nox said. He’d heard Prongs calling you that one day and it had stuck.
Reggie said your name quietly with a nod and sat down beside you. You hadn’t had a proper talk since that day, and something told him that then wouldn’t be a good moment to do it either. “How are you?”
“Good,” you replied with a genuine smile, he could tell. “You?”
He smiled, although it seemed like it was hard for him to do it, “Yeah, that too.”
Nox and Solacis were talking about the owl while you looked at him with a bit of a frown. He cleared his throat and handed you a piece of bread. You knew he was trying to divert the attention from it, he probably couldn’t talk about it there. “I’ll see you later about that homework, yeah?”
“What homework?” Nox asked, clearly worried he’d forgotten his own.
“Reggie’s gonna help me with something,” you excused and then turned to Solacis. “Is she okay?”
“She’ll be all right,” he reassured you. “Mix some Boswelia and Chamomile with her food, and keep an eye on her. She’ll be like new in a few days. I think she just took a bad hit, but she won’t be able to fly for a while. So if you need to take a message somewhere I suggest you use your other owl.”
“Right, will do,” you said with a smile. “Thanks, Sol, I owe you one.”
“You can pay back by not being so savage next time we play quidditch.”
“Oh, no, you’d have to pick something else,” you added with a smirk and a wink.
“Indeed, you have to practise more, Solacis, not get your opponents to go easier on you,” Dorcas said as she sat right in front of them. “Nice to see you, Luv.”
“Same,” you smiled as you stood. “I better get to my table before I’m called a house traitor.”
“I think you should just change your robes to green and join us.”
“I could make room for you in my chambers,” Dorcas offered with a smirk.
“And have to share a common room with Snivellus? No, thank you!” you joked. Dorcas cackled while the others laughed, even if a little more discreetly. Severus, who wasn’t that far off, threw you an angry look, which you noticed out of the corner of your eye. Even Barty was concealing a smile as Evan told Severus something related to their homework. You smiled and picked Nieve from their table carefully. “Thanks again,” you told Solacis with a smile and walked back to your table with the owl in your hands.
“How did it go?” Remus asked.
“Great, I know what plants I should feed her… Mind coming with me to the herbology classroom later?”
“Sure,” he retorted with a smile. “Perhaps after the thing.”
“What thing?” Asked Marlene as she leaned towards you.
“Oh, just a thing,” you retorted, making it sound as casual as possible. “Nothing to worry about.”
“Don’t tell me you’ve gotten yourself involved in another Marauder’s prank? Last time we lost James and Sirius in the game, and we’re playing Slytherin again, we’ll need James! Regulus has been practising since you beat him to the snitch.”
“I’d never do such a thing,” you said as you looked at Remus, complicity dancing in both gazes. “Quidditch comes first, pranks come later,” you added resolutely.
“Aye!” James said as he took a bite from his toast. Lily, who was sitting beside him, rolled her eyes and handed him a napkin since he’d gotten crumbs all over his face.
Breakfast came and went without much more eventualities. Peter didn’t wake up in time but you saved some food for him and handed it over when he caught up with you on your way to charms after you went back to your room to leave Nieve in a small heap of pillows.
“Thanks, Vixen,” he said as he took out the sandwich from its napkin. “And it’s roast beef with brown sauce!” He said after he gave it a bite. “Brilliant!”
“No problem,” you said with a simple shrug.
By the time you arrived at your classroom, the five of you were beaming with the excitement of the imminent prank. Peter had gobbled the last half of his sandwich just before walking inside the classroom.
“That can’t be good for your health mate,” James said with a frown as he pointed at Peter.
The latter cleared his throat before retorting “Shut up, Prongs!”
“Just looking out for you,” James said as he raised his hands in surrender. “I think you’re going back to nervous eating. You know your mum told me that–”
“James!” he complained now, motioning to the fact that there were plenty of people around. James didn’t know why it was such an issue for Peter to talk about it but didn’t press further. Peter, on the other hand, hated the idea of talking about his food issues in front of people, especially in front of Sirius and Remus who seemed to be so fit without putting any effort into it –according to him. Sirius literally did quidditch every morning with you and James. And while Remus didn’t do anything special, he did do a freaking intense amount of exercise whenever he was a wolf, not to mention he often took walks around the school when he wanted to be alone.
“Sorry, sorry,” James retorted. “We’ll talk about it later.”
Peter tried not to roll his eyes as he rushed inside the classroom.
Professor Flitwick was already inside the classroom, standing at his little podium like he often would during classes, you smiled and nodded his way as you walked inside along with the boys. As you were walking to sit next to Remus (as you usually did on Charms), Lily pulled you from her spot near the front and had you sit beside her.
“You’re not going anywhere,” she told you as you fell onto the chair. Remus threw you a questioning look and you shrugged in response. When Sirius realised Remus wouldn’t be sitting with you, he went straight to take your normal spot and sent you a daring sort of gaze, as if to show off the fact that he was sitting next to Rem instead of you.
“Are you even listening to me?” Lily asked as she shook you by the shoulder.
“Yes, sorry,” you replied as you turned to her, “you said we had to hand in an essay today but you totally forgot about it.”
“And you forgot it too, you dumbass, I’ve checked your notes,” she said as she pointed at the pile of papers you had now left on the table, including a few scrolls and a notebook, the essay was nowhere in sight.
“I didn’t forget,” you said with a smile.
“Well it’s not here either,” she said as she moved your papers around again.
“No, I just didn’t do it.”
“You what?” she asked in shock. You had been in study club since the start, and you had always handed in your homework on time. In fact, she thought you were as dedicated as her, if perhaps a little more relaxed.
You smirked. “You really shouldn’t worry so much. For one, I’m sure Flitwick would forgive and forget if one of his favourite students forgot to bring their homework. Two, I have the feeling everyone’s gonna forget about the homework in a few minutes.”
“Oh no, the toads,” she whispered, the grip on her wand tightened. “You know, I blame you for forgetting it, I spent all of last night looking up spells in case of an emergency.”
“Oh, that’s so not on me,” you retorted with a smile.
“Welcome, welcome,” Flitwick said, voice slightly louder than it had been previously. “I hope you all had an excellent Christmas break…”
You tried not to think too much of your Christmas break, although there had definitely been some a few –although very few– things that you would have considered excellent from the tumultuous time the past few weeks had been for you.
“… today we’re going to be looking at complex charms combinations. Does anybody know what charm combining consists of?”
Lily and Remus raised their hands. You would have raised yours as well but decided to let either of them answer instead.
“Miss Evans,” Flitwick said as he pointed at her with his wand.
“Combining spells consists of taking the main properties of two or more spells and weaving them together to create a new spell that either does both things or something slightly different.”
“And what’s a good example?”
Lily frowned and licked her lips as she thought of an answer, and then she smiled. “Lumus Solem,” she said. “It combined the brightness of Lumus with the heat and rays of the sun. If done without care it can be extremely dangerous due to radiation.”
Flitwick smiled, seemingly satisfied at her answer. “Precisely–” he started but got interrupted by a boy who raised her hand and spoke before being indicated.
“Can Lumus really be dangerous?” he asked.
“Certain variations of the spell definitely can. A potent enough Lumos could blind you either temporarily or permanently. Lumos Solem, has been used as a torture device in the past as well. Long exposure has been known not only to cause severe dehydration but even grade 3 sunburns–”
Flitwick was interrupted yet again, this time by a girl’s shriek You turned to the source of the scream with the most surprised face you could pull off.
“What’s with this fuss?” he asked in a rather stern tone. Flitwick didn’t get angry very often, but he’d gotten interrupted twice already and he really didn’t appreciate being interrupted.
“Toads, Professor,” replied the same boy from before.
“Excuse me?”
“There are many of them,” added another girl who was moving her feet out of the way. The students in the back had were already getting on their seats.
“Please sit down,” the small professor said as he shook his head in exasperation. From his position, he couldn’t quite see the tsunami of toads that was about to reach him. Besides, he quite liked toads, after all, he was planning to reopen the Frog Choir that had been lost after 1959 when Professor Marcus Bonnknott passed away.
Filius had only heard them play a few times during his first and second years in Hogwarts, and he was very upset when the choir died along with Marcus, who he thought was fascinating. It was in fact, because of said professor that he had gotten himself into music after graduating and before being offered the Charms Teacher position by Dombuldore in the early 70s.
But neither of the students seemed to listen, which obviously exasperated him and forced him to walk down from his podium only to see a small toad jumping his way. He leaned down and picked it up carefully. “Is this little guy the one causing you to leave your seats so hastily?”
“No, Professor,” said Imgoen as she shook her head. “It’s the amount of them.”
By then both you and Lily had gotten over your seats and were currently sitting on the table. What could only be described as a herd of toads was approaching the front of the room. The stone floor of the classroom turned green and brown as the toads jumped around, trying to find some space within the now swampy water running from the end of the classroom.
Lily threw you a look and you just shrugged as you straightened up and looked at the mess you’d created along with the boys.
“Oh Dear, quite a catastrophe, I see,” said Flitwick as he took his wand out and waved it in the air. With a swish and a flick, about a hundred toads were lifted from the ground and started floating above everyone.
“Ugh… that’s gross,” said a Hufflepuff boy as he nudged one of the toads further from his face using his wand.
“Please refrain from touching the animals,” Flitwick said as he threw the boy a stern look.
Another girl had picked a salt shaker from her bag and was diligently throwing it around her.
“What do you think you’re doing, Miss Griffith?”
“Salt will make them squirm, I’m keeping them away from me,” she said urgently as she continued, even if none of the frogs seemed to mind.
“That’s with slugs, you dumbass,” retorted Tom with a cackle. He’d been sitting next to her because after Lily pulled you to sit beside her, the normal sit arrangement had been skewed and his place –next to Beth– had been taken by Marlene.
“Shut up,” the girl said as she continued throwing salt.
Peter was laughing as he stared until a toad got on his feet and he shook it off with a short scream as he also got on top of the table.
James, Sirius and Remus were definitely enjoying the absolute chaos as they all stood at their desks, they didn’t even bother to sit on them and looked riddicolously tall in comparison to Flitwick which just made the whole scene all the more amusing.
“Please, calm down,” Flitwick said, as he managed to lift a few more toads into the air. All of them with their small legs extended and looking as confused as you’d imagine a flying toad would. And then another swamp bomb fell to the floor, the water level increased and tons of toads started appearing. “Goodness,” he said as another bomb fell from the other side of the classroom.
Lily had her wand up in the air as she stared at the toads with a “ready to attack” sort of gaze and you suppressed a smile as some other students were already using protection spells around themselves and keeping them up as the toads walked past the feet of the chairs and table.
“All right, perhaps we should exit the classroom instead,” he said as he tried to lift some of the toads that had just appeared along with the others. “Please form a careful line and–”
It was useless, the moment he said they could leave, most students bolted towards the exit like runaway horses, pushing each other while trying to keep themselves as far away as possible from the toads, which was pretty much impossible, since they were all over the floor, not to mention everyone’s pants and socks were now pretty wet with murky water.
Lily sighed and took out her wand. “Bufonem repelleare,” she said and waved her wand around her shoes, as she placed her feet on the murky water, the toads seemed to form a circle around her, as if avoiding her entirely.
Beth gasped as she pointed at her, “Lily, come and save me!” She said as she pointed at her feet, which got some other students staring quite impressed at her.
“Masterful use of spell combination, Miss Evans,” said Flitwick as he pointed at her and continued to move the toads as far away from the students as it was possible for him to do.
“You’re coming?” Lily asked as she offered you her hand.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got an escape my plan for myself prepared,” you told her with a wink, and as she walked towards Beth you finally got on the table. Your seat was rather close to the windows, and the door was on the other side, which meant you had quite a walk to make before exiting the toadtrap you had created; but you weren’t looking forward to getting your feet wet, let alone your socks, which Lily had taken in as a necessary evil.
You stood on the chair and then on your table, and from there, you jumped to the table in front of it, the students there were already outside of the classroom, and then you jumped towards the table next to it. The boys, upon seeing what you did, were now imitating you. And they were much faster since they had longer legs.
By the time you got to the third row of seats, Remus was standing on the desk right in front of yours and Sirius was right next to it. You raised your eyebrows at the boy in front of you and he smiled, placing one hand behind his back and extending the other towards you, “Allow me, my lady,” he said in the noblest of tones.
You chuckled under your breath as you diverted your gaze to hide the smile you just couldn’t keep away from your lips at this point. He really had read an excessive amount of romance books.
“Kind Sir,” you said as you took his hand, not because you needed his hand to cross to the other side, but because you wanted to hold his hand. It was a simple gesture and helped you stand right next to him.
“Oh Moony, you’ll make me jealous,” Sirius teased. “How come she’s getting preferential treatment?”
It was the smirk on Sirius’ lips that told the both of you that he was just teasing. “It’s all right Puppy, I’ll help you to the other side.” You extended your hand towards him and he used it to jump onto the same table in which the two of you were standing. Now the three of you were stupidly close to each other, not that either of you cared.
There was a short exchange of glances between the three before Moony jumped to the next table and you followed shortly afterwards. But by the time you extended your hand for Sirius, you felt the table tremble underneath you, even if it was just for a second. You looked around, the feet to try and spot if there was something that was causing it, perhaps a toad that got stuck or something of the sort, but there seemed to be nothing happening down there. Sirius took your hand and jumped towards the two of you, but the second he landed next to you one of the legs gave out, and the three of you plummeted to the floor.
While the toads managed to escape being crushed by any of you three, you did not get away without being completely soaked in the swampy water.
You groaned, the water hadn’t done much to cushion the fall, and you and Sirius had been the ones to cushion most of it for Remus.
“Should have come with me,” Lily said as she shook her head and walked towards the door. While you were sore, you still had enough energy to lean your head towards her and pull out your tongue. She shook her head, clearly amused. “Suit yourself.”
You huffed and then let yourself rest back in the water. What does it matter at this point, it’s already soaked, you thought. A toad jumped closer to you and Sirius scared it away before it reached your fave.
“Sorry,” Remus muttered as he tried to get up since he’d fallen on top of both of you but his hand slipped and he ended up falling over the two again.
Sirius groaned and you let out a low “uff!”
“Sorry again,” Remus said hurriedly, trying not to think too much of how nice it felt to be that close to you, given the conditions around. Those being the fact that half of your heads were submerged in murky water and that the frogs now seemed to want to approach you.
“It’s all right, try slower this time,” you told him, offering your hand for some stability, when he finally got up from the floor he realised that most students –and the teacher– had already found a way out of the mess. Once he was up, he helped the both of you stand.
“They left us?” Sirius asked with a gasp. “We fell, and they left us!”
“Vixen stuck her tongue out at Lily,” Remus pointed out. “She would have probably waited.”
“Never mind Evans, It’s Prongs that offends me,” he added with a huff that made you chuckle.
What neither of you knew was that he had made that table fall and that he had left the three of you at your own luck in retaliation for the bomb that he had left in his pocket and that you had knowingly not warned him about. But he also thought the three of you could benefit from some time alone, so he was both, taking his revenge, and playing cupid.
You leaned your arm up towards you, smelled the sleeve of your sweater, and made a slightly disgusted face. “We stink now,” you said as you pulled it as far away from your face as possible. “How about you throw some relashio my way?”
Remus extended his wand towards you but Sirius was quicker and stopped him, “I’ve got a way better idea than that.”
“Sirius we’re not swimming on the black lake, I know you’ve wanted to do that all year, but it’s literally snowing out there, it’s a terrible idea.”
“Not that!” Sirius said as he shoved Remus. “It’s a great idea, I promise,” he added with his signature smirk and stepped forward, taking the lead. “Follow me, pretty things.”
“Did he just–” Remus said as he pointed at Sirius and turned to you.
“Yup,” you said with a nod. “You better get used to it,” you added before nodding your head to the side, inviting him to follow behind Sirius who was already near the door. At least the toads were kind enough to jump out of the way as you walked towards it.
The hall wasn’t much better either, some classrooms were still figuring their way out and their doors were crammed with people trying to leave, the stone was coated in a rather thin layer of water that only got more and more filled by the minute and everyone was trying to find somewhere safe.
“What is going on?” Someone shouted, tone laced with desperation as he had to turn to the side when he spotted another tramp of toads coming from the hallway he intended to take.
While in the world, “all roads lead to Rome” in Hogwarts, “all roads lead to the Great Hall” and you were counting on that to get most students in there, all for the sake of ending the prank with a cherry on top. But some students were already using their brooms and the windows to get out of the buildings and that would ruin the plan.
“Your idea’ll have to wait,” you told Sirius as you stepped forward. Thankfully just the right person was in sight. “Alex!” You said. “Alex Wood!”
The Hufflepuff head boy, who was riding his broom flew towards you, “Yeah?”
“They said we should go to the Great Hall,” you said. “That’s where all the students are going.”
It was luck, and perhaps your good student reputation, that made Alex nod almost instantly. “I’ll spread the word, thanks!” he added and took off, shouting to everyone on his way to walk towards the Great Hall.
You smiled as you saw him leave towards one side of the hall and you turned to the other, “We have to go to the Great Hall!” you shouted towards everyone and none in particular, “spread the word!”
The three of you continued walking towards the new direction and kept telling people they had to go, and since people recognized Remus as a Prefect, it was much easier to get them to follow the direction. By the time you reached the Great Hall, there were already other prefects helping everyone walk inside in a much more ordered manner than when they had left their classrooms. Students were walking towards their seats at the table, and the older students were using Lily’s spell to keep the frogs away from the door as everyone tried to walk inside.
You smiled, looking quite satisfied at the result of your little ruse, and also got in line, but this time Sirius pulled you out of the way. “Follow me, I know a better spot to enjoy the show,” he said with a smile. Remus probably already knew of said spot since he walked next to Sirius as if he too knew the way.
You followed the two of them down a set of stairs –spotting the kitchen entrance– and then a little further inside, where there was a rather large statue of a dragon who moved as if he were breathing. Sirius got up on the small pedestal where the dragon lay and Remus was behind him shortly after, yet again extending his hand for you to follow. You took his hand at once and he pulled you up with ease, not letting go of it even as you were fully there and giving you a reassuring squeeze as Sirius got even closer to the dragon. He crouched and walked inside the crevice left between the tail of the dragon and his head.
This time around you followed right after him and Remus was close behind. The statue wasn’t really designed to be walked behind, or at least it hadn’t been placed to be walked around, and therefore the spot behind it was slightly darker and a bit colder than the rest of the castle, as if the heating spells didn’t quite reach that spot.
Then Sirius walked towards a torch holder and pulled on it, a small passage opened underneath the spot where the dragon lay. You smiled and walked down the set of stairs alongside both boys. It was a small room, perhaps something like a broom closet, or a secret hideout for a treasure, but there was nothing inside other than a window that looked remarkably similar to the ones in the great hall but much smaller.
Sirius approached the window and fumbled with the latch for a few seconds before he managed to flip it open. The bitter cold flew in alongside a few snowflakes and Sirius climbed outside. Remus followed, sitting by the seal, his feet propped to the outside. But just before he jumped he turned to look at you.
You were looking at him from your spot, seeming somewhat hesitant of stepping out. He was about to speak, but Sirius beat him to it, pushing his head under Remus’ arm and leaning it near his ribs with a teasing grin. “You’re not scared, are you, Starshine?”
“Of course not!” you retorted. “ Just waiting for you boys to open up some space.” Sirius laughed while Remus jumped outside, you got on the seal seconds after.
Sirius smirked as he turned to Remus, who was wiping some snow from the back of his pants and shaking his head in disapproval, although he was still smiling. Once the three of you were outside, with the bitter cold making your wet clothes all the more uncomfortable, you figured out exactly where you’d be enjoying the spectacle from.
“You have to be kidding,” you said as you spotted the large windows of the great hall over a few feet of rock. “Is that where you were on the first day of the year?” you asked as you pointed towards some of the windows.
Sirius nodded in return, “Pretty cool, yeah?”
“You’re all deranged!” you retorted with an amused smile and walked through the snow and towards one of the windows. The end of the cliff wasn’t so stiff that it would be easy to fall, but if anyone did fall, then it would be nasty.
“Not more than you, Luv,” retorted Remus who was behind you in seconds.
Sirius had a small, rather proud smirk on his lips as he watched the two of you speed towards the window. “Watch your step, it can be slippery,” he warned.
“Who's the scared one now?” you asked as you turned to him with a teasing smirk, your hair flowing behind you while some bits of snow from the side of the rocks fell over it.
Once you reached the spot under the window you looked up. It was rather tall. At least a few feet above your head. Sure Sirius and Remus could reach the top by extending their hands, but your fingers barely reached the edge. Narutally, you started jumping to try and get your hands on the seal. Remus caught up with you a few seconds later. “Thought you were a fox, not a rabbit.”
You huffed, narrowing his eyes at him and turning back to the rocks. There was snow covering them, and you didn’t have your gloves around. Didn’t matter though, you tried to get a hold of one of the rocky edges to climb your way up, but they were stupidly slippery and you ended up slipping towards Sirius who caught you with ease and looked down on your pouty face with a wide smile.
“Are you done trying to do it by yourself?” he asked. You gave him a mouth twist in return. “Nous sommes une équipe, Starshine, don’t be afraid to ask for help.” He pressed a kiss to your forehead and pushed you to stand straight again.
You grumbled something intelligible as Sirius climbed his way up using a rather specific rock that they had charmed and that was slightly worn out as support, and once he was up he extended his hand while Remus linked both of his and extended them for you to use as a step on the way up. You hesitated, turning your gaze to the side before placing your foot between Rem’s hands, who pushed upwards and allowed you to reach Sirius’.
Once your elbows were on the bitter-cold stone of the seal, you managed to push yourself up the rest of the way. Rem used the same rock Sirius had to climb and in between you and Sirius pulled him the rest of the way up. Not that he needed the help, he would have done fine without it, but neither you nor Sirius would waste a chance to hold him close.
“Shouldn’t we use a disillusionment charm?” you asked as you leaned over the windows to see what was inside. “Shit it’s cold,” you added as you shivered. You’d taken your cloak off at the little room under the dragon but your pants and thick sweater were still pretty wet.
“Nah, they can’t see us,” Sirius said as Remus stood closer to you. He was the least wet of the three, coincidentally, his body heat was always warmer due to his furry little problem. “There are special charms on the windows so that the weather outside matches the one in the enchanted ceiling,” he waved through the window, “we’re virtually invisible.”
“Neat,” you said as you leaned your head on the window again, most students were now taking their seats. Professor McGonagall was helping some of the students accommodate their tables. Spellman was making sure all the Ravenclaws were all right alongside Flitwick who had been a Ravenclaw when he was a student, and Seraphina was making the Hufflepuffs do the same while forcing them into a neat line and counting through them.
“Where’s Dumbledore?” you asked with a frown.
“He is overseeing some plans with the order,” Sirius said. “Moody visited the Potters when we were about to leave for Kingscross. He said there was some urgent ‘Order’ business they had to oversee.”
“Order? Do you mean The Order of the Phoenix?”
“The what?”
“Ugh… never mind I’ll tell you about it later,” you said as you shrugged it off and pointed towards the Great Hall. Slughorn had walked towards the podium and seemed about ready to say something. “I think it’s about to happen,” you said.
Remus looked at you with a frown, still wondering what that was about before he too turned to look at the window. Slughorn seemed to be calming the students down, by giving some sort of speech. And then a screech so loud, that even the three of you heard, broke through his words.
“Oh, it is happening,” Sirius said, as he too stepped a little closer. Both boys were now practically glued to you and the window, which was at least helping the cold subdue, even if you still felt like the bottom of your clothes, where gravity had accumulated the water, was slowly freezing as well. Not to mention your back felt a little more cold than it should have. But then again, what was a little cold? You’d had much, much worse.
The girl jumped backwards as she screamed and fell on the floor as a bunch of toads started appearing from under her table. You saw Lily’s mane look around and fixate her gaze on James, she was clearly expecting the classroom and the rest of the hallway mess to be the end of it.
You chuckled as the toads from her table avoided her and jumped in all sorts of directions and towards the rest of the people. The funniest part was, that the toads were also shunning the entrance because they had used the toad-repelling charm all over it, so the more swamp bombs that exploded, the more frogs without anywhere else to go appeared.
McGonagall pressed her wand to her throat before speaking, loud, clear and in that same tone she used in class that was equally unwinding and terrifying. “Prefects, have your houses form a neat line and walk towards the courtyard. I believe it’s the only spot in the entire school not infested by toads at the present moment.”
You chuckled, and it wasn’t only after your laughter subdued that you noticed that were not only shivering because of the laughs, but also because of the cold. You sneezed.
“Bless you,” Said Remus almost automatically, and then pressed his hands to your face. “You’re freezing! Why didn’t you say anything?”
“I said it was cold!” you argued with a shrug and then crossed your arms over yourself.
“But you said it as a casual comment, not as ‘I’m freezing, let’s use a warming spell’ kind of way,” Sirius retorted.
You hummed in response. “Next time, I’ll make sure to sound extra dramatic when complaining about the cold,” you said sarcastically.
“Yeah, you better,” Sirius said as he jumped down from the little window bannister and nodded for you to do the same.
It was slightly awkward as you got down, but Sirius was there as you landed and he gave you a thumbs up as you wiped some of the snow that had gotten stuck in front of your trousers. Remus was down shortly after and the three of you walked inside the little room.
Sirius closed the window as soon as you were inside while Remus started with a simple warming spell. He leaned close to you, his wand slowly spreading heat on your back, causing the already-frozen bits of clothes to melt.
“Wait, it’s too hot,” you said, taking your sweater off almost in a second. You had a simple turtle neck shirt underneath, and while it wasn’t freezing anymore, it was still pretty wet.
“I mean you can continue taking your clothes off here, or we can go to that place I’ve been telling you about,” Sirius said with a smirk and both of you turned to him with a frown.
“Where exactly do you want us to go?” Remus asked.
“You’ll see when I take you,” he retorted as he tilted his head. “I think by now most students will be in the courtyard, what do you say?”
Remus swallowed, “Are you sure that’s a good idea?”
“All my ideas are great,” he retorted, “Right, Starshine?”
“Some have certainly been,” you retorted. “Besides at this point, anything that gets me off this stinkyness is good.”
Sirius’ smile widened and he gave you a wink before climbing up the stairs and both you and Remus followed closely behind him.
It had been a few minutes of you scurrying around the castle while trying to avoid being seen by any lost student, and the toads that were now all over the halls, jumping around freely.
Remus, who finally recognized the way you were taking gasped, “Sirius are we going to the–”
“Yes, don’t spoil it.”
Sirius had purposefully taken a tricky way there so neither of you realized where it was you were heading but Remus had figured it out anyway. You had a vague idea of where that might be but you weren’t sure, and you had never been there either, so even if it was where you thought it would be it was still a surprise.
You looked over a corner you were about to cross and instantly pulled back, grabbing onto Sirius’ shirt to stop him from stepping any further. You placed your hand over your lips and nodded. He looked at you with a frown, and you pointed at the corner.
Sr. Pendragon’s ghost was there, up in his horse and patrolling like the hallway was his own, even when his horse seemed to be much more entertained by the toads. He was comically jumping around while trying to avoid them (it didn’t seem to matter that being a ghost, he couldn’t touch them).
Sirius nodded as soon as he spotted him and took out his wand, but Moony beat the both of you by sending a spell towards one of the portraits on the other side of the hallway. The old man in the portrait started shouting silly complaints and screaming something about the toads attacking him.
“To the rescue!” Said Sir. Pendragon as he pulled on his horse’s reins to force him to move. Said horse was not cooperating, and it was while he was distracted by them that you cast a disillusionment charm over the three of you and continued to follow Sirius through the halls.
Skipping through the toads was much harder with the disillusionment charm because they wouldn’t immediately jump out of the way as they spotted you, but it wasn’t impossible. They seemed to have a sort of sixth sense to not be squashed, even if it took a little longer for it to kick off than sight.
It was when you spotted the large frog in the corner of Ricchie’s “make-out room” that you figured out where Sirius was taking you as well. “How are you planning to get in?” You whispered as you pointed towards the door.
“Easy, we have our own Perfect, he knows the passwords,” Sirius said with a smirk.
Remus tried not to roll his eyes as the three of you approached the doors, he cleared his throat before leaning into one of the corners of the door. “Whispering Woods,” he said, low so nobody beside you would hear, and the doors split open right in front of the three of you.
You didn’t waste time before walking inside, since you didn’t want to risk anyone noticing the three of you were sneaking into the “only prefects” bathroom, even with the disillusionment charm. You were still looking at the hall as you rushed to the door to shut right ahead of you. Some magic doors were faster if you gave them a little push, which was always a good trick when you were sneaking around.
Once you made sure they were shut you sighed and turned around, only to gasp in shock. It’s not that you hadn’t heard about the Prefect’s Bathroom being grand and elegant, but you were expecting spacious shower stands and perhaps even a nice toilet, not a bathtub the size of a pool.
“I know, right?” Sirius said with a smile and started walking towards the tub, flicking his wand to dissolve the disillusionment charm and opening the faucet in the side. Colourful water started streaming out of the centre, filling the pool with bubbly water. A stained glass mermaid was combing her hair just behind the tub, and she had a sort of mischievous smile going on as she spotted Sirius.
“I’m going to start thinking you have a water kink or something,” you joked as you followed him, your eyes getting lost on the mermaid before turning back to him. She didn’t look exactly like the mermaids at Lupin’s Cottage, which made you think she probably was from a different species.
Her nose was slightly longer, and she was looking at the three of you in a sweet, and yet sort of like ‘I’d want to eat you’ glance.
“Don’t worry about her, she can’t even talk,” Remus when he noticed your staring.
“Yeah?” you asked with a frown. “Why?”
“Mermaid portraits can be very temperamental, that’s why wizards rarely use the special brushes that make them talk,” Sirius explained as he threw a wink her way. You’d swear she blushed after that.
“Did you ever read ‘Siren’?” Remus asked, and you shook your head in response. “It’s about an artist that really wanted to paint a mermaid,” he explained. “And he did it, exceptionally well, so well that the portrait even had some of those enchanting abilities mermaids have. He talked to her every single day, she convinced him to put her in the bathroom since she would feel closer to home, and he would see her every single time he bathed.”
“Yeah?” Sirius asked with a smile as he continued to play with the faucets. Now there was a small fish statue blowing soap bubbles all over the place. “Sounds awkward…”
“It was,” Remus confirmed. “But she was clever and knew how to make him feel at ease. More time passed and they grew used to each other, until that wasn’t enough for her either, she ended up convincing him to drown in his tub so he could be with her.”
“Damn,” you said as you looked back up at the mermaid. She was still giving you that same curious look. “I can definitely see it happening, though…”
“A man falling for the portrait of a beautiful mermaid?” Sirius asked, clearly amused.
“A portrait being more powerful than they originally thought,” you said, not keeping your eyes away from the stained glass window. “Enchanted items can be as delightful as deceitful. There are plenty of stories of wizards who’ve gone mad over a portrait.”
“I think the water is ready,” Sirius said as he dipped his hand in the marbled pool.
“Yeah?” You asked as you leaned closer to it, leaning over and also digging your hand in the water.
“Mhm,” he nodded and then turned to Remus with a sort of mischievous look in his eyes. The way they shone told Remus enough about his plan for him to know what a terrific idea it was. “Pourquoi ne l’essaies-tu pas, Étoile?”
You didn’t even have enough time to turn around and ask what he was going on about when he picked you up from the floor and threw you into the water, the splashing from your fall was enough to leave the two of them wet and filled with bubbles.
By the time you resurfaced –not that it was very deep– both boys were shaking with laughter, their voices echoing through the bathroom in such a compelling way that you couldn’t even stay mad at them for it. That didn’t mean you wouldn’t retaliate. You looked at them both with a sort of saddened pout that had Remus lose his laughter as fast as he’d found it.
“I think I sprained my hand as I fell,” you said as you took your hand out of the water, “It’s swelling and all…”
“What? That fast?” Remus said as he approached you.
Sirius seemed concerned at first, at least until he saw the faintest shadow of a smirk as Remus approached the edge of the tub. You threw him a look, simple, almost too fast, but he instantly knew what he had to do.
“Perhaps it’s because it’s the hand I sprained at the Leaky Cauldron…” you added and extended it towards him. He was now so close, half of his body was over the water. He had your hand in his, yours was limp and his were careful, feather-like touches to make sure he wouldn’t hurt you further. He moved it to one side and then to the other, carefully.
“Does it hurt?”
“Slightly,” you retorted. It wasn’t a lie, your hand was still kind of sore. Perhaps it had been a worse hit than you thought originally.
Remus shrugged, “It doesn’t look all that swollen to me, Little Witch, but it could get worse. Perhaps we should call it and go to Pomfrey instead–”
“You don’t see it?” You asked nonchalantly and threw a look at Sirius. Remus was about to respond, “Maybe if you look closer,” you added before pulling your other hand out of the water and gripping onto his arms as firmly as you could, pulling him towards you.
Alone, you wouldn’t have done shit to move him unless he had been genuinely distracted, but with Sirius’ help, who threw him off balance with a light kick on the back of his knee and a push, it was as easy as it had been for Sirius to lift you up and throw you into the pool. When Remus resurfaced from the water he was so shocked that he’d been manhandled that he ended up being more confused than anything.
“How the– you didn’t even hurt your hand, did you?”
“It’s still sore, but no,” you said with a shrug and a smile. You then stepped a little closer, you’d never seen Remus’ hair wet, at least not fully wet, only fluffed out of the shower, it was way longer than you assumed, it reached almost all the way to his nose. You swam closer to him in an instant and pushed it off his face. It’s something perhaps you would have done even back when you were just friends –you had always been that close to him– but it was because you weren’t just friends anymore that he felt his heart hammer on his chest as you approached. He could kiss you if he wanted to, would you want it to?
And then you gave him a look. He knew that look so well. You placed both hands on his neck after you stopped playing with his hair and then you raised your eyebrows. He gave you the basic “Are you sure?” Remus Lupin look. You just raised your eyebrows again in return.
“Hey, Pups,” you said casually, “do you mind passing me my wand? I think I dropped it when you threw me into the water…” That last bit was slightly accusatory, to add up to that guilt and have him lose some of the weariness.
Sirius picked your wand from the floor and squinted his eyes at you as if deciding just how close he could get without getting pulled into the water by his favourite little fae, although you looked more like a tempting siren than a sprite in that particular moment.
“What?” You asked with a simple smile.
“You’re not going to pull me into the water, are you?”
“Of course not, I just need my wand,” you said with a smile, gently squeezing Remus’ wrist from under the water.
“What for?”
“Girl stuff,” you retorted.
“You can’t just say girl stuff whenever you want to avoid my questions.”
“But what if it really is girl stuff?” Remus intervened as he eyed Sirius.
“I won’t throw you into the water, swear,” you added, hands held up in surrender. “Just hand me my wand, you can stay out and watch while Remus and I make out or whatever.”
“What?!” Sirius asked confused, amused, and a little too keen on the idea, which was ridiculous. But damn, didn’t the both of you look stunning when you were kissing each other?
“What?” you said as you approached. “Come on, hand it over,” you said as you opened your mouth for him to place your wand in between your lips. Sirius was hesitant as he approached you, but eventually, he was close enough. And when he did, Remus, who had been casually leaning his back on the side stood up and pulled him into the water as you moved out of the way.

I hate to do this but
I need help. I need
so much fucking help.
There are a few major things I need.
TL;DR at the bottom, but I'd appreciate you read this to fully understand the situation I'm in.
I need to reacclimate to driving vehicles, so I can get from place to place on my own, but to do that I need help from someone willing to ride with me and help me feel calm in adjusting to being behind the wheel again.
I need to find work, consistent work, that pays at a regular rate, which isn't overwhelmingly fast-paced. Night shift, anywhere, or work from home, or even day shift at a place that isn't rapid-fire energetic work.
I need to save up, be able to put money back so I have enough for emergencies like car wrecks or hospital trips or some such, and so I have enough to save a nest egg to live off of eventually.
As it stands, my only two options for who can help me with driving outright refuse to do so. They won't give me the opportunity to get behind the wheel, and when asked why, it's because they just don't want to take the time for it. These are the same people who simply "didn't want to take the time" to help me reach a dentist before my health insurance ran out. The same people who demand I help them at every turn and lecture me on selfishness when I tell them I don't feel well enough to do it.
I can't find work. The only work from home jobs here call for certifications, licenses, neither of which i have, or they call for several hours of uninterrupted focus, which I can't get here because if anything as drastic as the dog sneezing happens, I'm the one ordered to deal with it. I don't have one uninterrupted hour, let alone enough for a full shift of work. As for out-of-home work, the only places within safe walking distance are the post office (which I failed the assessment for and can't retake for a year) or the cotton gin (which isn't hiring for any positions I qualify for). So with no options in town, I have to drive (see problem 1) to find work. Which I can't do. So I can't find work outside of my streaming and avatar comms, the former of which earns roughly $20-$25 a month, and doesn't pay until earnings hit $50...Basically, I'm earning $60-$70 every 2 months. I can't live off that.
And that leads to the saving issue. I make a max of $70 every 2 months, and a friend sends me $50 every 2 weeks to help me, which totals to $100 one month and $170 every other month if I earn the absolute maximum from my streams. The $100 of the first month goes to groceries, every time. It has to. The second $100 goes to groceries of that month, $50 goes to my phone bill because I have to have service for family emergencies, and the last $20 winds up going either to more groceries or to what miniscule enrichments I can get for myself to keep from going insane here. Which means I wind up with a profit of anywhere from $0-$20 every 2 months, depending on whether that 20 actually gets spent or not. And of course, if it isn't one month, it's spent the next for groceries. I have next to no profit, no savings.
Living here is poisoning me. I live in a sunroom. Not a bedroom, not "part of the house", not an apartment or studio. A sunroom. A singular room that contains every single thing I own, a mattress on the floor, and for the record, as a sunroom, it leads directly outside. Want to see my door?
That is the door between my room and the outside world. That, and a single glass door secured by a very small, very rusted door latch on one side, is my only protection from the elements and any potential intruders. The door, as you can see, isn't even fitted to the frame. It's held in place by gravity and a single nail.
And yes, that is the breaker box behind it, entirely uncovered and with exposed wiring. Should I make it worse?
That door, held up only by gravity and a single nail, were it to fall, would fall directly onto my bed. Why is my pillow at the closest end? Well because I can't sleep with my head at the other end because my totes with all of my stuff are at the other end, and the mice like running on top of those totes and I would rather not sleep head-closest to the end they play at. That big TV? Busted, belongs to my mom's husband, and they have nowhere else to put it. That monitor beside it? Busted, because my brother broke it trying to stand on his computer chair and rather than throw it out, they had him put it in here with "the other screen".
The clutter on my bed? A hot glue gun kit a friend bought me which has literally nowhere else to be.
TL;DR and conclusions
I can't take the steps to better myself alone. I need as much help as I can get. And given my major problems right now revolve around a lack of jobs/opportunities, inability to drive alone + nobody willing to ride with me, and inability to save up because of expenses, I can really only look at the things I can reach out for help on.
I've reached out to some friends to help me look for options regarding new living arrangements, but those arrangements mean nothing if I can't afford to go, or worse, can't afford to stay.
I've got to save up. I've got to have enough to put back. So that leads me to the ending note here.
If you can spare even one dollar, ANY amount of money, at all, it would help immensely. If you can't, then please reblog, spread the word and help me reach more people so I might finally get out of this place. Every cent given this way is going straight into a savings account, not to be spent until absolutely needed, or until an opportunity to get out of here surfaces.
You can help me through paypal or cashapp, either one. Cashtag is $Aazoth, Paypal fundraiser linked below. Don't stress over the amount, I only set it to the maximum because I need as much as I can get and I wasn't sure what to expect so...better safe than sorry, given idk how the fundraisers on there work. I'd have set it to end later but I can't. I'll update y'all with a new one when this one ends.

READ MY RULES BEFORE LIKING, COMMENTING, AND REBLOGGING!!!
Hey y'all! Remember when I said I had a Lucky Contestant FC of my very own? Well, here they are! They mainly appear wearing the mask, but I wanted to show off their face for this bio so y'all can get a taste of what they look like.
Onto my Contestant...
Leni Sorensen had it all. They were the star athlete/gymnast at their high school, found the perfect man and moved in with him in a nice house after graduating. But then, something crashed and burned in their mental state and now they've turned into a bitter adult who lives in a crappy rundown apartment, has gone through a breakup, dealing with a smoking addiction, and is struggling to find a job. Desperate to get their life back together, upon hearing that if you managed to find a VHS tape in one of the Frankie's Fruit Flake boxes, you'll be granted to participate in a private indoor gameshow with the promise of 5 million dollars, they obsessively remuage through every box for the to be signed up and luckily for them, they finally found it after 769 boxes. They even toke rehab to get rid of their addiction and train really hard so that they can regain their parkour skills in time for the game. Under the impression that it was a simple and harmless yet goofy gameshow like Wipeout, they quickly realize upon being accepted that this "gameshow" is actually a streaming podcast located in the dark web AKA a "red room", where sick fucks pay money to watch people get sliced up by saws, have their skins melted by toxic slime, and be hunted down and killed by monstrous versions of the mascots. With Leni being the only surviving "contestant" able to outwit the monsters with her athletic gift and win the prize, they ended up making the red room more money and is now forced to remain imprisoned at the Parkour Palace until the next season arrives, rather they accept the offer or not.
Extended Bio:
Full name: Magdalena Sorensen Nickname: Leni and Maggie (but if you value your life, don't call them that. Just don't) Age: 24 Gender: Nonbinary (goes by any pronouns) AFAB Nationality: Dutch-American Orientation: Bisexual Family: Mother and father, older sister named Amelia (26) and younger brother James (20) Personality: Leni is as confident and boisterous as they are arrogant. They often act rude, dismissive, and sarcastic. They have an ego the size of Jupiter, they know that they are a gifted athlete and won't let others forget. They believe in "survival of the fittest" and looks down at the more weaker ones, blaming them for their shortcomings and willing to leave them behind if they were in a survival setting.
Leni in general isn't the most pleasant person to be around, which was why they don't really have friends, not that they wanted any to begin with (or do they?). But… They are not without a few redeeming qualities… Right? Yes, their negatives do outway their positives, but Leni's not evil. The whole reason they wanted to enter the gameshow was not just because they want a better living space, but to also have a better living space and makes things right with their ex Brett, so they are capable of feeling remorse. Deep down, Leni does long for companionship, but they don't know how, and because of their crass attitude, no one's willing to tolerate them. Needless to say, they are one tough nut to crack.
Fun facts:
🐇Leni has near vision so she wears glasses, but she does sometimes wears contacts. They wore contacts during the gameshow. They hated wearing the mask and if they have an opportunity to take it off they will. 🐇Leni didn't have the best homelife. Their parents (although they love all three of their kids squally) have jobs that require them to work for long hours, so they're rarely at home and when they are, they are exhausted. But that is not the worst part, they often leave her at home with her older sister who makes it her goal to make Leni's life a living nightmare. James however, is the only one who sees the good in them (and still does) and has looked to them his life, but has unfortunately inherit some their boasting which they nowadays try to discourage. 🐇Before moving out, Leni was the one who does all the chores around the house and prepare food. Amelia is more concerned with being on the phone and James was little at the time, but as he grew up he tried to help their older sibling out. 🐇Outside of a boyfriend, Leni did have a small group of friends at one point, although they all got fed up with their prideful nature. 🐇When they're not training for season 58, Leni would try to come up with plans to escape, lay in bed all day, thinking back on their time with Brett and their friends in guilt or trying (and failing) to avoid conversing with Frankie. 🐇James refers to Leni as his "brother". Amelia and their parents refer to Leni as their "sister" and daughter. Brett referred to them by they/them pronouns. Frankie and Henry also refers to them by they/them pronouns. That was when they came out as nonbinary and say they don't mind being referred to as a "he", "she", or a "they". 🐇Leni sleeps in a fetal position and always hugs onto their pillow or blanket. 🐇Leni has a soft spot for animals, although she has a fear of rats, or atleast used to. It helps that every animal she comes across like her, or atleast don't mind her presence. 🐇During their imprisonment, they noticed an injured rat. Despite their phobia of rats, pity overcomes fear within them (and because they were desperate for a companion to stay sane) and they toke it upon themselves to try and nurse it to health. The rat started to imprint on them and they ended basically adopting it. They haven't thought up a name for it. 🐇Leni does become a amicable person in the future. The gameshow shattered their pride and made them question their motto especially regarding the Noob Noobs and eventually Henry. There are still a few bumps in the road, but they are trying their best to be nicer. Leni isn't fond of children. 🐇They hates anime and sees them as overrated and stupid. 🐇Leni thinks that vegans are pathetic. Leni is a big eater. 🐇Their favorite food are ramen noodles and their favorite drink is strawberry and cream soda. 🐇It's possible that her rudeness and sarcasm is also a defensive mechanism. 🐇They haven't been to college. 🐇They are suffering from nicotine withdrawals.

↢ 『 ☾ 』 ↣
When Valda awoke, she practically launched herself out of the bed, breathing hard and eyes blown wide as she remembered what she had to do today. She had to get out now. She wouldn’t be caught dead in front of the High Lord of the Night Court. He’d snap and she’d be bloody mist.
So she quickly reached for the clothing she had on hand– all black and strapped on the weapons she’d had strapped on her for the ball.
There was a knock on the door as she finished the last tie on her boots and she practically leaped out of her skin.
“Come in,” Valda called, standing to glance around her to make sure she hadn’t forgotten anything stupid. She’d winnow to her little hideout and gather most of her materials in the bags there and then go to Redwood and complete her task there before she came back to the House late at night.
“I’ll be honest, I thought you would still be asleep,” Eris drawled from the door.
Valda turned to look at him, already outfitted in fancy court attire. “I won’t be caught dead with that monster around,” she growled.
“Rhysand?” Eris asked. “I suppose that’s an accurate way to describe him.”
Valda felt near catatonic still being in the Forest House with Rhysand on his way. “I’ve got to leave, I’ll see you later tonight-”
“Wait,” Eris called as she moved past him.
She paused for a moment to turn back to him. “What?”
Eris smiled softly. “Stay safe,” he said. “And Rhys isn’t supposed to be here until noon. He’s only here for the afternoon. You’re okay.”
Valda nodded, taking one deep, calming breath. She felt more focused.
“Also, I think you’re forgetting a letter on the bedside table,” Eris pointed out.
Valda perked up and turned back before groaning. “I’m a dumbass,” she said as she retrieved the unmarked letter. Just a wax seal kept it closed, and even that was just black with no imprint. “Right, see anything else I’m forgetting?”
“I think you’re good to go. I’ll see you later,” Eris replied. “Stay safe.”
“An assassin’s life is never safe,” Valda said before she walked out the door. She marched herself out of the House, sneaking past servants before she was freed from the building.
A swirl of shadow distracted her and she narrowed her eyes as she walked down the side of the House. Then she saw a male. An Illyrian with hazel eyes and blue glowing stones. Valda held her breath as she recognized the shadowsinger of the Night Court. Fuck, she thought. She had to warn Eris about the spy who seems to not have noticed her yet, but also not get caught. This male, she knew, was a spymaster and an elite one at that. She didn’t want to get caught here, which might prove difficult due to a literal shadowsinger being here..
The male turned suddenly and Valda tensed, shoving her magic over her head like a hood.
The shadowsinger’s blue jewels, siphons, all seven of them, glowed threateningly. “Reveal yourself,” he ordered.
Valda glanced at the window to her right briefly, remembering a door that led into the room just around the corner and could be locked very easily. It might lead her directly into the guard’s lounge but she had no choice here.
Valda didn’t waste a second and turned and ran.
The shadowsinger didn’t shout but she heard crunching behind her on the leaves.
She opened the door, slipped through and then shut it. She turned the knobs for all three locks there. Then she turned toward the empty broom closet, glanced at the window beside the door where the shadowsinger was currently staring at her before sprinting down the hallway connecting the broom closet to the guard lounge.
As she barged into that room, there was a flurry of motion, but she got past them and continued sprinting as fast as she could, heading for the High Lord’s suite.
“It’s an assassin!” One guard screamed.
Not for Eris, she growled to herself as she gathered her magic. You should be more worried about the Night Court crony behind me.
“ERIS!” She yelled loudly as she barged past a group of servants. “GET OUT HERE ERIS VANSERRA!”
A familiar face finally popped out of Eris’s old room. The same place she’d left him. Her room now.
“What?” Eris asked. “What happened? Why do you have 10 guards chasing after you?”
“ASSASSIN!” The guards screamed.
Valda panted for a few seconds before managing to get out the words she needed to. “Shadowsinger. Night Court. Spying. Ran to warn you.”
Eris’s gaze hardened.
“Stop,” he ordered the guards barrelling down the hallway. “She’s not an assassin. She’s my spy.”
The guards paused. “Well why’d she come through the damn broom closet of the lounge?” One guard asked.
“Be more worried about the Night Court shadowsinger on the Forest House premises,” she growled.
“Secure the area,” Eris ordered. “Everyone on high alert and guards at every corner. Inside and out. Report any signs of shadows to me directly.”
“Yes sir,” the guards said. “If you’re sure those shadows aren’t a danger.”
I internally winced. I couldn’t take these off. My cover as Adira would be blown a bit too early.
“Not at all,” Eris replied. “Now go.”
Valda panted for a few more moments before chuckling. “Well that wasn’t the plan.”
“Where was he?”
“West side,” Valda managed despite her dry throat. “Mostly invisible because of those shadows, but armed with all seven of those damn siphons. Very clearly spying.”
“Did he say anything?”
“Wanted to know who I was,” Valda coughed out. “That’s all. I didn’t do anything.”
“Sir!” A servant came running, holding a paper. “A message from the Night Court.”
Eris hummed and took the letter, tearing it open.
Valda peered over his shoulder curiously.
Eris,
I see you found my friend. Tell me who yours is. I’m coming earlier than planned.
- Rhysand
Eris scoffed. “His mind powers are truly interesting to navigate,” Eris mused. “It seems Azriel was here and Rhys told him to do it. Now he wants to know what kind of Night Court High Fae I have here.”
“I need to leave,” Valda cut in. “Just tell them a short story about Adira. It doesn’t say when he’s going to be here. I need to leave.”
“And if he finds you?” Eris asked. “Azriel is likely still near.”
“Once I’m out of the damn wards, I can winnow wherever I want and get my actual materials,” Valda said. “I’ve been chased before. I know what I’m doing.”
Eris tensed a little before sighing. “I’ll glamor you until you’re out of the wards. Walk with you.”
“Fine,” Valda allowed, despite not needing it.
Suddenly, she felt a heavy blanket of magic wrap around her and she stood up straighter, humming.
“So that’s an invisibility glamor? That sucks,” she joked.
“Careful, you can still be heard,” Eris warned and began walking down the hallway.
Valda quieted, stalking in the wake of Eris’s footsteps. Eris sent off a few more orders as they walked, but made it outside. She felt a dramatic increase in the magic of the air and sucked in a breath.
It smelled like burning.
“I’m just strengthening the wards,” Eris whispered. “Meant to do it today before Rhys appeared, but it seems Azriel has taken advantage of the ones my father left.”
Valda didn’t reply, but inwardly wondered how much stronger Eris would be in comparison to Beron if his wards were that weak.
The end of the wards came soon and Valda reached for her magic.
“Stay safe,” Eris told her sternly. “And come here if you get attacked. No matter what.”
Valda briefly nodded, wondering if Eris could see through the glamor briefly before she winnowed straight to her hideout.
She felt the glamor slip away and took a few deep, calming breaths in the wake of the morning’s events.
That shadowsinger better not fuck around with her when she manages to get Eris to let her winnow through the wards. She could snap and he’d be gone.
“Right,” she muttered to herself and scanned the little treehouse before she began rapidly packing things into a backpack. Mostly weapons, some clothing and some other random materials. The treehouse was clean in a matter of 20 minutes.
Not wanting to linger, she pulled on her hood and winnowed to the general location she knew of Redwood. She’d only briefly walked through there for some food while on a brief scouting trip, but it was enough to get her close enough.
She squared her shoulders and marched toward the town, locking her darkness away under a veil inside of her. The town started out as a few stray wooden cabins, but quickly grew into a thriving residential area before she made it to the market square.
There were people talking everywhere and she saw many interesting signs.
A few were calling for Eris’s death and a few in celebration of Beron’s. A very diverse opinion of the lower class so far. Someone suddenly tore down one of the posters for Eris’s death and she blinked as she beheld the small, dirtied boy who’d just plucked it down.
A lord was in the center of the chaos, yelling loudly and dressed in all sorts of finery.
“He must be stopped! He didn’t even search for the assassin who killed him! Eris must be killed!”
“Get him!” A peasant female screamed. “Put him behind bars! Eris is spreading good!”
Valda wasn’t expecting this level of chaos already. Damn, she thought. It wasn’t a riot, but it was more of a mob against the lord of Redwood.
Valda pulled one of the males at the back to the side who’d been yelling briefly and asked in a kind, curious tone, “What’s happening sir?”
“This lord thinks he can call for the death of our High Lord!” The male shouted.
“You like Eris?” Valda asked.
“Of course! He’s lowering taxes for us and paying us more! My family isn’t starving anymore! And this lord thinks he can take it all away from us!”
“Well that’s certainly not fair,” Valda agreed. “Does this entire group like Eris then?”
“Yes!” A female beside the male piped up. “Eris is our savior. For once the farmers and merchants can live in peace!”
Valda grinned. “That is a wonderful thing.”
“Who are you?” The male asked.
“Oh, I’m a messenger for Eris,” Valda said. “The High Lord was looking for some feedback on his new laws. It seems that it’s held high in the hearts of the lower class.”
“Hell yeah it is!” The female shouted, grinning. “You tell that male he’s doing good that’s long since overdue.”
Another person who’d looked back rushed to speak to Valda as well. “My daughter, my daughter! The High Lord has saved my daughter from starvation. He’s-” The rest of what they said couldn’t be heard over more and more people vying for Valda’s attention.
That was all she needed before she winnowed onto a nearby roof, cloaked in darkness in the shade of a large tree.
The mob’s attention refocused on their original goal.
As she relaxed her shield of darkness when she wasn’t spotted, someone spoke to her from the left.
“Eris’s messenger, huh?” A male asked.
Valda jumped, balancing on the top of the roof with an unsheathed dagger in her hands.
“Hey, hey, I didn’t mean to scare you,” he placated. “Chill out man. I was curious.”
Valda narrowed her eyes before settling back down. “Yes, what of it?”
“What’s your name?”
“Classified,” Valda replied on impulse. “Yours?”
“Same,” he chuckled. “Tell me, why were you here?”
“I had a task that’s none of your business.”
“So you’re reporting to Eris tonight then?”
Valda was suspicious of this male. Very, very suspicious. “You don’t need to know what I’m going to do tonight. Leave me alone.”
“Hey, I didn’t do anything,” the male said, using a hand to use a placating hand gesture. “I was just curious about one thing.”
“What?”
“Who killed Beron?”
Valda’s jaw snapped shut. “An assassin,” she ground out. “Goodbye.”
She winnowed away, farther into the forest. She’d gained the information she needed anyway. Now she just had to wait out Rhysand’s visit until night came.
-----
Waiting seemed like it took forever, but she left the letter on the edge of the Autumn Court with a quick winnow. So it wasn’t all wasted. It just felt that way.
While she waited, she watched the Forest House from the outside before catching sight of those damn shadows within the meeting room. Then she left, resolving to hike through the red, orange and yellow forests instead. Only one person on horseback decided to attempt to question her on why she was there, but she merely swiped a dagger from her thigh and held it visibly while explaining to the person that she wouldn’t tell them and could stay where the hell she pleased. They left. Valda couldn’t help but chuckle a little. People were sometimes too easy to scare.
For a brief second, the thought that Eris wasn’t scared of her flashed her mind. Eris wasn’t afraid of her like the others were. And that little thing felt so prized to have with her.
When the moon hit its height for the night, she finally dared to return to the Forest House.
However, she saw a lot more guards than usual, which wouldn’t have been a problem normally, but some were dressed in black, which wasn’t typical. It was suspicious.
An entire group of black dressed people suddenly darted around a corner and a guard pointed briefly towards them.
Shit, she swore. Invaders? Assassins? Who are they?
She needed to know and needed to stop them. So she threw her pack into a tree and stalked forward, unsheathing her curved blade from her back and holding it tightly in her right hand.
Valda watched the group of enemies grow larger. The guards were mostly unaware of the gathering forces. Valda lunged forwards over the short fence, feeling the wards slide over her. No winnowing out now, she supposed.
“What was that?” One patrolling guard asks his partner. “Did you see someone-”
“Who are you?!” The other yells in my direction.
She holds her breath and stays still behind the bushes.
“Call backup,” one mutters. “We don’t know whether it's an assassin or not and Eris demanded full coverage of anything suspicious.”
“You go, I’ll watch.”
Valda internally growled in frustration. Back up for her and not the group of enemies where the group was almost thirty!? Damn it.
She carefully manipulated her power, placing a small sound barrier between her and the guard before covering herself in the darkness of the night and leaping out of the bushes, onto the grass. Not wanting to waste magic, she removed the sound glamor and lowered her darkness to the ground, knowing her black clothing was enough to cover her in the less lit area.
The enemies now stood tall and faced the Forest House. She saw a glowing magic start at the fingertips of one of them. Fire, she recognized. Autumn Court? But-
A huge fireball was shot at the building. The guards shrieked but Valda ran forward. She covered herself with a magic shield and then took down one person- then a second before they noticed her.
All of them jumped at her. Valda grunted as flame hit her shield from all sides. It wasn’t as bad as Beron’s, but it was wearing her down fast from all the winnowing she’d done for the day. It was fucking midnight. This was insane.
“Get them all!” One guard shouted.
Shit, Valda thought. She was lumped in with the black clothed people. That meant literally everyone was against her. Damned idiot, she thought to herself. She was an idiot. A complete and utter moron.
She yelped as someone shoved against her shield. The tiniest trickle of fear began to boil in her stomach. She’d long since taken her fear and buried it down into the depths of her soul, but she’d fucked up. Badly.
She drowned the area in pure, rolling darkness and escaped the people that caged her in even as swords clanged and people screamed in pain. She threw her darkness around herself as she leaned against a nearby concrete pillar, groaning.
One- no… three people came running at her with a sword swinging. She rolled to the side just in time, unable to muster the energy to shield against a sword. Maybe fire for a while longer but this… this was getting too close. She still had more than 20 people to get out of the area and she was too close. Not as close as Beron had brought her, but too close for comfort.
A dagger was thrown at her and embedded itself in her thigh as she stood. Valda groaned, fear flooding her senses more strongly now. She needed to get out. She’d messed up.
She shoved a shield of darkness around her again, using their lack of senses to her advantage but then-
“IT’S THE SHADOW!” Screamed one guard.
Valda swore.
“EVERYONE GET THE ASSASSIN!” Another shouted.
People sprinted for her as they unified temporarily against her. Motherfuckers.
Fear edged her senses as she turned and sprinted for the end of the wards in a desperate hope to escape. She could winnow somewhere. She could-
Another dagger embedded in the back of her shoulder and she screamed, falling down. The fear was endless now.
But then there was silence.
Silence wasn’t normal.
She turned, possibly thinking she was dead, but then she saw flaming auburn hair and nice court clothing. Then a deep blue fire in the palm of Eris.
Eris, who stood between her and her attackers.
Eris, who was willing to go against his own guards to do that.
Eris, who was protecting her.
“Funny,” Eris drawled. “I’m pretty sure half of you aren’t supposed to be here.” He glanced at the people in black. “And the other half is chasing after… who?”
“She’s the Shadow!” One screamed. “Kill her!”
Eris glanced back at Valda.
“Guards,” Eris commanded. “Shackle those dressed in black and take them to the dungeons for questioning.”
One went toward her.
“Not her,” Eris growled, the fire in his palm glowing even brighter. That growl sounded possessive, protective and downright aggressive.
“But High Lord-”
“Leave the assassin alone,” Eris snarled.
The guard reluctantly turned back.
Within seconds, the enemies were locked up. Not one of them had tried to run, which surprised her to be honest. It meant they’d had some other goal in mind.
Eris finally turned back to her, leaning down onto the balls of his feet. “Valda,” he said gently. “I’m going to take you to the healers-”
“Why?” She interrupted him.
Eris blinked. “What?” He asked, confused.
“Why did you protect me? In front of everyone?”
Eris opened his mouth, but hesitated. Then a piece of her chest yanked. A string connected to her heart. It yanked so hard she almost lost the minimal balance she had and stabbed her shoulder even worse than before.
Then it glowed golden.
Valda then felt emotions that were foreign to her. Fear, hope, and something along the lines of must protect.
She knew what that meant. Any fae knew what that meant.
“You’re my mate,” she whispered.
Eris didn’t breathe in.
Her eyes widened and she felt unbelievable terror fill her and she suddenly turned and sprinted for the wards.
Eris called after her but as soon as she was free- she winnowed away.
She landed in the frozen wastelands from her training, running for the entryway she knew all too well. A place she went to fear unafraid, because she was forced to not be.
That terror in her chest wasn’t fear for herself anymore though.
The dread was for Eris. This… mate bond would interfere with everything. And she would hurt him. She could never go near that male again. She would not let him get hurt. She must not.
As she stood in that same throne room in the Masters’ Underworld location where she killed them all.
She shivered as she leaned down to remove the dagger poking out of her thigh and then from her shoulder. No danger from either of them. They were not ash nor ash coated. She healed quickly and set out to make a plan.
A plan to protect her mate and to keep herself away.

Which university, huh?
Navina pondered over it for a while. They needed to be careful, but with their lack of memory… They can't exactly be certain if they'll be able to.
That, and the staring from three guys is getting to them. Internally.
Jeez, just pick something! Anything!
"… I think I prefer Amurta," they said, nodding at the three. "I'm sure the other universities are amazing in their own right, but I prefer Amurta over them."
Healing will be very useful, even if I know absolutely nothing about this world. Maybe it can help me when I get back to Fontaine and get more intel on what I'm working with.
"Why are you asking me which university I prefer?" they asked, this time looking genuinely confused.
Is it even necessary for them to know which university I like?
«Tighnari: +20 Points»
Tighnari: There it is, our debate has finally ended. Congratulations, Amurta. Yay.
You hesitantly asked what debate it was.
Cyno: The six of us– including the absentees: Al Haitham, “Kuni”, and Aether– started college in the same year before we are now known in our respective occupations. In those 4-5 years in the Akademiya, we were tallying points on who had the best university in the Akademiya both by objective facts and quick surveys fron people with authority.
Aether?!
Lumine's missing brother?!
Kaveh: And you're the only brave one to end that long argument. But... Why is it kinda anticlimactic...? I mean, compare that to how we use to bet on literally anything just to earn those points before.
Cyno: You all had to rule out Sport Leagues because no one wins against Spantamad in any field. Even chess.
Kaveh: Okay, you know you don't have to brag about THAT chess part again, right???
Tighnari and Cyno laughed. Based on that alone, you had a feeling Kaveh was the chess representative in his batch of alumni.
You asked them why your opinions counts.
Tighnari: Um, I don't know, maybe look at your badge?
The hydro vision in your person glowed.
Cyno: In all these years, you're the only courtier who gave their two cents on this discussion.
Tighnari: Hmm. Royal courtiers are usually so tight-lipped.
Cyno: Remember when Kuni tried to bribe Courtier Ayato to vote for any of the Big Six?
Kaveh: ... You meant “threatened” right?
Cyno: Hmm.
The three went silent.
Tighnari: So, Navina– I think I owe you a favor.
The dean leaned in, his elbows on the table as he stared at you with his full attention.
Tighnari: How about this– if you are as lost as you say, I'll have a luxurious condominium located in the middle of all the unis in your name for the time being– a week at best.
You tried to give your thanks–
Tighnari: But, you see, these rooms are expensive. College in general is expensive unless you're stupid smart enough to get a scholarship or enroll in Kshahrewar–
Kaveh: Aww, thanks.
Tighnari: –where broke people who are forced to study engineering and architecture for free go.
Kaveh: I retract my statement.
Tighnari: So here's my deal: I'll pay for this crazy expensive condominium and it's yours forever, but: you have to study and pass a Gremory License Exam.
Cyno: ...
Cyno: Hold that thought, Nari, are you–
Tighnari: Yes.
The three went silent again. When you tried to ask what it was about, they didn't reply.
Tighnari: I need more elemental-talented people in my beck and call.
Tighnari: Don't worry, I won't force an answer out of you. You have till tomorrow to give me a reply.
Tighnari: Until then, the exit to the garden is actually just behind Kaveh– just follow your left and you'll be out of the maze.
Tighnari: See you soon, Navina.
Current Route: Common route
Tighnari Status: 23/50
Cyno Status: 02/50
Kaveh Status: 00/50

And we are off
My husband has the kids at a state nature preserve while I packed and cleaned up the house. All done and enjoying twenty glorious minutes alone on the couch. My Aunt/Uncle, cousin and their two friends are staying while we are gone. NYC rent is too expensive to leave this place empty. My Aunt is so excited. She's had a rough year so I'm glad she'll will get some fun in.
I cannot wait to be swimming at the hotel pool tmrw. For some reason I'm feeling confident about baby boy flying. The flight to California was a true disaster but I think we've figured it out now. Fingers crossed I'm not in denial.
My husband's boss is leaving. They immediately offered him the position. He doesn't really want to take it. Its a big pay raise but will be longer hours at work. He would still be able to leave the office at 5pm but would be up after the kids go to bed working. There is no part of me that feels like either of us have more hours to spare. Baby boy is really draining all of our energy and its still very unclear what supports he will need in the future. At the same time, it will be hard to turn down the extra pay. He is very lucky to get a full pension based on his three highest years pay (thank you govt work in a liberal state). He can retire at 57 - so its not money just for the next few years but for the next 30 + years. I mean this most likely won't be his last promotion but every step upward counts. If he passes away the pension passes to me. Current employees don't get these benefits - he got in right before they changed the rules. He's been there 20 years now. He/we will have the entire vacation to think about it. Nice either way that they offered it to him. He's also had this amazing boss forever. I'm warning him how miserable his life can get if he gets a bad boss.
Baby boys been behaving very well for the past two days. Maybe he's maturing?? Maybe he just has good and bad days?? He is so damn cute. Last night I told him I was taking the girls somewhere. He goes "Oh, okay. You go Japan???" HA! HA! No kid. The next trip to Japan you are coming.
The girls begged to have a pedicure before vacation. I took them last night. Said it was a treat for doing so well in school. Very cute/fun. Bee is so much more girly then I am.
Foster agency is sticking to making us be re-certified. I can't think about it until we are back. Of course, no one has given us an adoption date so no idea when we need to get the trainings over with. Such a massive waste of time.
Baby boys therapies need to be switched from Department of Health to Dept of Education now that he turned three. After a month of pestering, they sent me a list of over 200 evaluation places throughout the city. I called over 20. None have evaluation appts before October. I put us on all of the waiting lists. Will probably try to pay out of pocket for OT, PT, etc until he is adopted and he can go on our private insurance. Its unGodly expensive. Need to figure out what services will help him. A little lost honestly. Weight vests, weighted blankets, crash pads, sensory toys, brush techniques? Will these things help him?? Do we have room for those things (=No). Need to start videoing when he's really unregulated. One-on-one in an OT office is not going to show what we are talking about. Of course, the foster agency doesn't bother responding to my emails related to any of these services. The medical lady used to be the one consistently competent person at the agency. She moved on and of course the new person is useless.

I truly hate this planned obsolescence in software business. Coupled with everything going to a subscription service. We have a weighing system on one of our front end loaders. It scoops up materials, the scale system measures back pressure in the hydraulics somehow, it establishes a tonnage weight that you can assign to the truck in the cab. When the loader is within reception distance of the wi-fi at our building, it dumps all that data into a proprietary software on my computer where I can then spit out reports. It's got a forever license, but when my laptop gets bricked or something or other happens to it, which has happened two or three times since I've had it, it has to be reinstalled, and we have to reach out to these nice people in New York, who have to reach out to these nice people in New zealand, to get a new activation code.
The last time this happened, when IT pushed a bad software patch and bricked my laptop a year ago, the scale company informed me that, and it's either at the end of this year or the end of next, this software is being discontinued. I won't be able to get another license code, I will have to upgrade to the cloud-based subscription service.
Here's the thing. This software can handle all kinds of different units scooping all kinds of different stuff, I mean like picture if you're running a gravel yard or a transfer station or something. I have one loader. That scoops one material. Only for about half the year. This software will continue to serve my needs for the life of the equipment. But I'm one upgrade away from losing that functionality. And when that happens, I'm going to be paying for a subscription service that can do all kinds of different functions and things that I have absolutely no use for.
It's the same thing with our fuel management system, we're monitoring one site. Gas, diesel, two pumps, a nozzle on each pump for each product. Very simple. Until our software was a casualty of the Internet Explorer end of life, and we had to go with the cloud-based version. With which we could handle multiple sites across the country with all kinds of different products, but again, I don't need that.
The fact that the software that preceded that, and the Fleet Management software for that matter, we literally still had floppy disks for in the old files, this software lasted 20 years. Obsolete, perhaps. Out of any kind of service interval, definitely. But it sat there, and it did what it needed to do, and would have continued to do so had we not upgraded the fuel site. We have another software that we had purchased, it was going to stop working because it used Adobe flash. Okay, how about a patch to run on the HTML 5 protocol? Nope. End of life. Cloud-based option.
It's completely counterintuitive, back in the day you could buy like the home or professional version of a software. Deluxe or lite. But you were still really kind of limited to what was on that disc. If it had more functions than you needed, well either you needed a simpler version, or you were going to pay that premium. You would think the one good thing coming out of this whole cloud-based software as a service model would be the ability to instantly customize it, and let the price reflect accordingly. Which I have come across once or twice on a rudimentary level, but as a general rule, it's one size fits all. And a small shop, or say a single gas station, does not need the same enterprise level system as a nationwide corporation. Nor do they want to invest in the absolutely insane level of tech required to run it.
Instant customizability at your fingertips, you don't even have to leave your living room anymore to program this stuff for these companies, and the software companies have gotten even lazier with a one size fits all model. One size which, incidentally, is routinely shockingly expensive. 🥔
we should globally ban the introduction of more powerful computer hardware for 10-20 years, not as an AI safety thing (though we could frame it as that), but to force programmers to optimize their shit better

Dreams from 23.4.24
Dream 1 I was in a house, like a dorm or share house where three girls lived. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it was quite spacious. I was happy that they had such a comfortable living arrangement. I was hanging out with a group of people in this house, and it felt really late actually, it felt like it was almost midnight.
Everyone is seated around a big rectangular table in the kitchen. They're my friends but also they're not, I dunno. There are some kind of snacks on the table, they remind me of Cheetos but larger and more pale-coloured. There's some that are ready, and more is currently being cooked in something that looks like a popcorn maker. I can't really taste them. I am just eating them as something to do.
There was this one girl who didn't feel well. She kept pressing on her stomach, maybe she was pregnant. She asked me about a class that was either taking place today or tomorrow and how it was all going. I think she wanted to know how involved and demanding the class was because she wants to figure out if she would be able to manage it in her condition. I didn't really know what to tell her since I couldn't really remember. Whatever I said, it was vague.
I think my ex is here. I don't see him but I sense that he must be in the room. We had just broken up and I wanted to give off the appearance that I was okay and didn't care. I felt his general aura to the right of me, so I go and sit near two of his friends who are sitting on the left. I start chatting to them. I am very animated as I engage them in conversation and making them like me is effortless. One of the guys starts stroking my thigh, which I hardly seem to notice for quite some time. I wasn't responding to it, so he stopped. I continue going around the table talking to different people. Sometimes no one talks and we sit in silence, but it doesn't feel awkward at all. It’s still vibes.
Then someone brings up SM. I don't know why, none of these people are my co-workers, it actually seems like we must all be classmates or something. Someone says, He looks like water. This is in reference to the water signs in astrology. I say, It's because he has Cancer rising. They are pointing out that he has a soft and sweet demeanor. Then I say, as if I am some authority on the matter, He is also very down to earth because he has some planets in earth signs.
Then it's brought to my attention that one of the girls who lives there isn't actually here right now. She is out partying or partaking in some other social activity and won't return home until very late. I get the impression she's been gone all day.
Dream 2 I was at the cinema watching a movie and at the end, an advertisement came up on the movie screen. It was something like an infomercial and after it played, it asked if I wanted to buy the product on offer. I have no idea what it was but I did want to and so I followed the prompts. The screen was interactive somehow, I just had to think about what I wanted to 'select' and it would go to the next part. It was like I was clicking buttons on a computer but I wasn't doing anything, just sitting back in a cinema chair. There were other people around me but it felt like it was just me, or like those people didn't matter. I wasn't self-conscious of the fact that this was happening, that everyone was getting the play-by-play of my decision to purchase this product. When it got to the payment part, it was quite odd. I have the sensation of paying with my card but I didn't take my card out or anything, I just thought of it and it did so. But then it said that only a partial amount of the full price had been paid and I would need to go to the counter outside to pay the rest in the usual way, like $20. But then something else said that in actuality, I don't need to pay anything. It just popped up on the screen like a surprise. Now I think all I needed to do was collect my item. I got up from my seat and walked toward the exit. As I was walking away I saw that this cinema room was right beside another cinema room and they were both connected toward the back. Like it was open-air and the segregation of the rooms was just an illusion. It even felt like it wasn't just the back of the rooms. Also the wall that joins the two, wasn't a wall, but was made of something thin, like a sheet. A veil appearing as a wall. I wondered how this affected the audience members in each 'room'. Wouldn't the sounds coming from each film being played, effect the audience in the other, detracting from the viewing experience? How bizarre. But I realise that while I was watching the film (which I don't remember at all), I did not hear the movie coming from the other room at all. So it must have been fine.
Dream 3 I'm in a department store at a skincare brand counter and the sales lady is trying to sell me something but I say no to it. Then she pulls out something else, some kind of treatment essence in a bottle. I am more interested in this product, and realise it is more expensive than the first product she showed me. It was $77. I just thought, why not? The price is just whatever and I mean it looks of good quality and it'll be an extra step in my skincare routine that'll help pass the time.

Letter to L #1 (More of a Rant)
February 8, 2024
I still haven't bought a typewriter. I was barely able to pay my rent this month and send you the remainder of January's payment. I'm not ashamed anymore. A few months ago I would've been, but I never stop learning. I'm learning to accept the negative, and embrace the positive. I'm being patient with myself and instead of negatively talking myself down for not having my finances in order, I continue to do what I have to, to get there. (ie: babysteps)
Do you remember when we were dating and we slowed the world around us... I reminisce and think of wanting to relive... to experience that beauty... such an adolescent-like love that i had never experienced with anyone but you (until my 20's). We wanted Nokia's to pump the brakes within a society that was only increasing in speed. The so-called Rat Race we're forced to live, we thought we were going to find a cheat code a short cut to make things work. We did, we then experienced the early 2000's with a blog... well i brainstormed something. I've decided since we're not "contacting", this very situation could've happened during the days of the age of innocence... but instead of you not returning my texts... my calls. My hand written letters would be collecting dust in a shoe-box under your bed circa 1978. My typewritten letters... yellowing in your mahogany dresser in 1934. The ink bleeding through envelopes in a hemp sack that my quill written letter sealed with wax; are stored in. I decided to just fill you in. I know you don't want contact with me for your reasons... but i assume you must want to know about me just like i want to know about you. Was that really your intention? To just forget about me? Or leave me in the back-burner until I was ready to make an appearance once again? Letting me fight the world on my own, because I really don't have anyone but myself... Just me myself and I. Regardless of what your reason was. I choose to give this to you. I can fill you in because I want you to know about me. Then again, you won't even give me your address to write to you... so am I lying to myself by doing this? Do you really want nothing to do with me during this period? Is this energy that can be invested somewhere else?
I don't eat sometimes. I'm doing it alone this time. No short term loans, no help from family. I'm proving to myself I can be a man. The studio still isn't done... I'm in a room with no windows. Work has been difficult. My coworker lost her daughter of age 9, so i wasn't able to start off with meeting days off. I'm covering her shifts until she's ready to come back, if she's ready. I saw my family again. Once again, even more painful than the time before, I was ignored in front of extended family members. In front of my grandfather, uncles, and cousins. Hearing my aunt ask me "Your dad doesn't talk to you? I don't even think he looked at you"... It slashed my chest in half. My heart sank to the floor. I felt powerless. Useless. They had a party at mom's. Everyone was invited, except me. How they managed to cover-up their lies every time a family member asked for me, I don't know. My mother then sent me food after their party, I was so sad I didn't even want to eat it. It was a slap to my face. A humiliating act. I threw it away. Without even opening the bag.
Just caught myself nagging, and complaining. I said I was going to do less of it, but how can I just do it on my own when you were my confidant? The one who heard me and listened to me... and gave me the strength to continue. Who knows. You're not here for me anymore. So calling for help in the forest with no one to help me is absurd. Maybe I didn't think this out so well, and instead of a letter to you I should just call it CryBabyRant#1, which I'm in fact doing right now. You don't deserve a cry baby. You don't deserve to hear me cry about the unfortunate things occurring in my life, like my mom said, because of me. It's my fault. I don't like it? I'll do something about it.
Sorry, this isn't a letter I'd wanna receive if i cut someone off waiting for them to get their act together. You'd probably want to just see the finished product. Not stick around for the ugly and painful. It's understandable. If i decided to post this I guess it wasn't meant to make its way to you, but more of a, look this is where i found myself on that day. That's evidence of how he felt, how he tried and tried and tried to climb out of the hole, but he just couldn't manage to get out. No more ropes being thrown, no more cheering from anyone. Just him in the well looking up at the stars with no one else.
Not sure how i feel about this alliance you’ve formed with my brother. When our situation occurred I was alone. No one looking out for me. Just pushing on my own, experiencing new lows… i guess hearing him say “L said this… L said that” is rubbing me the wrong way. Not having any form of feedback from you, meanwhile you’re becoming his shoulder to cry on is making me feel all sorts of ways. I think negative, because i don’t find myself in a good spot. Hearing of things he’s done… the violent person he’s become with his biker buddies down in AZ… I’m scared of him even coming near you because I don’t know what he’s capable of doing. I don’t trust him. Not near me, not near you. Not near anyone. I don’t even trust him sleeping in the same house as my parents. He’s dug himself deep in some serious issues… and maybe it’s for good that your sister and him aren’t together because she could’ve became collateral damage if he doesn’t either truly quit what he’s doing, or come clean with everyone. I just don’t want you near him because his act isn’t clean cut. Especially if you meet with him, not much i can do if you’ve already seen him. I’m scared, genuinely. But I’m in timeout. My cries aren’t heard. Aren’t considered. I guess you’ll know yourself if you decide to befriend him and see him in these circumstances. None of what i say here seems to matter, I’m alone. Just facing fate, just waiting an outcome I don’t know of. Like your clients that would buy mystery bags. I know nothing. In the end, you’re a grown woman. You know who you allow. You know who you give your attention to. Your time. I’m no one to intervene. I’m just alone.

Welp, I now know what happens when I fail a wis save.
TL;DR: Nasty boom that wakes Medli from the dead with immense necrotic damage. Bad news- She's unable to cast spells until the following long rest. Which, fair. What's not fair- she's still blind and without her familiar... which she needs to cast a spell to re-obtain and 'see' again.
Also, aside: Teammates are fine. We were able to stabilize the rouge and paladin, but the wizard needed a revive spell from the cleric (two floors above us, whose player we pulled from their irl-work break just to get permission to use their character to use res said wizard). DM let us ignore the '10 minute' rule and instead made it 10 hours.
Medli's current status: Unknown reason for current affliction. 1 HP; 12 AC; 0 spell slots; semi-unlimited casting disabled. Unable to heal from necrotic damage until after the next long rest.
--- --- ---
DM: And with that, add another level of exhaustion to your character.
Me: Aaaand now she's dead.
Rouge: Great, we killed the bard. Anyone got a revive spell?
DM: I'll spare you all the trip and time sink, it won't work.
Me: ... Alright. Can i roll a new character?
DM: Nope. Roll a wis save.
Me: the fuck? i'm dead.
DM: Roll me a wis save, hon. Better be above a 15.
Me: ... 11.
DM: Yeah, everyone else roll me an investigation check. or a perception one, whichever one is better for you.
Barbarian: Wait, even the ones outside the room?
DM: Nope, just in the room. So, [Wizard], [Rouge], and [Paladin].
Paladin: I'm off my game today, I get the bard killed and then roll a nat 1.
Rouge: That's okay. 24. Not a nat, though.
Wizard: I'm in the rafters, off the side, with my back to everyone, going through scrolls. Do I get a roll?
DM: Oh, no roll for you. Well, [Rouge], as you watch your comrade fall from exhaustion at the paladin's attempt to heal her, you notice that she's... beginning to glow in a sickly, pale-green light? Give me an... perception check, [rouge], alongside an arcana check.
Rouge: Er, 18 for perception, 13 for arcana.
DM: You notice the light around medli begin to waiver around her, gathering in intensity, and swell. It looks like something is getting ready to explode.
Rouge: Um, I cry out 'shit' and try to run from the room?
Paladin: I assume I have no clue what's going on, but I try to follow.
DM: [Wizard], would you like to try and follow?
Wizard: When the rouge cries 'shit' and tries to flee, you know it's going to be bad. So, yeah.
DM: Everyone give me an athletics roll.
Wizard: 7.
Paladin: 13.
Rouge: I... Damn it. 3.
DM: yeah, none of you made it out of the room in time. But first, [barbarian]! Give me an athletics roll.
Barbarian: Um, 17.
DM: Great, now give me a con save.
Barbarian: ... Ha! Nat 20!
DM: Great. You, dearest [barbarian], watch in abject horror as the room that four of your party entered into lights up with a green light, and no sooner does that information sink in does the world around you erupt into a wall of force that pushes you back 30 feet, knocks you prone, and causes the world around you ring in silence once the rush of air dies down. You've taken.. one sec... 14 damage. Everyone else, you take... 32 damage.
Rouge: What the fuck. Welp, I'm down.
Wizard: Same.
Paladin: ... same.
DM: Pfft- whoops.
Me: This feels a little overkill, dear.
DM: In my defense, I thought that giving you a level of exhaustion when you have identify or whatever cast on you would have told the rest of the party to not try casting magic on you. Should have realized I needed to take into account those who don't pay attention to the dm.
Barbarian: Is it... is it safe to get myself on my feet and see what the hell just happened in that room?
DM: As you approach, you feel a sense of unease. Closer and closer you step, and the more you feel the need to run in the other direction. Whatever just happened in this room, you know it couldn't be good. However, the epicenter is where four of your party were. Do you step past the threshold and enter the room?
Barbarian: yes.
DM: You see a room- walls intact despite the explosion, but the now-broken furniture are haphazardly embedded in the walls. Three of your teammates are skewered on said furniture and pinned against the walls. The fourth is sitting upright and sightlessly looking around, dazed and confused..
Me: ... what the fuck.
Barbarian: I echo that statement.
DM: I'd more recommend doing something about your teammates. Medli appears to be battered and worse for wear, but a very clear degree better off than the others who were in the room.

come to you today with a very serious warning and I sincerely hope that there will be ears that will hear...
Paul writes in 1 Peter 1:14-16 the following important verses: " [14] Like obedient children, you must not arrange your life according to the lusts that previously existed in your ignorance. [15] But as He who called you is holy, you must also become holy in your entire walk of life, [16] because it is written: Be holy, because I am holy."
Dear reader, we are on the threshold of the rapture. We can no longer afford to play with our eternity. The question is easy: do you want to be taken in the rapture or not?
Let me show you what Jesus gave me. My Bible opened here. I have no idea where it says because I was just concentrating on what was being said. The passage was about a man because with an adulterous woman bought. He told her that he was going away and that she should use this time to renounce her adultery because if he came back he would marry her. However, if she does not renounce her adultery, then she will have to wait a very long time for him.
This is a message directly from the LORD, because we who have repented are that adulterous woman who was bought dearly by Jesus Blood!Jesus left to make room for us so that one day we can be where He is, but we must use the time to get rid of our adultery, because if He comes back and He finds us still adulterous, then we are going to have a long ruk must wait until He comes again. Do you see how this passage fits in with the passage in the Bible?
Jesus is going to come back with the rapture and those He is going to find who are still adulterous, are going to have to go through the tribulation with the unsaved to prove that they are worthy. The fact that you are saved does not mean that you will automatically make it to the rapture! You MUST follow that holy lifestyle too, because God is Holy just as Paul wrote!
Now let's see what Paul writes in Galatians 5:19-21 " [19] And the works of the flesh are manifest, namely adultery, fornication, impurity, looseness; [20] idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, wrath, envy, bickering, partisanship; [21] envy, murder, drunkenness, drunkenness and similar things, of which I tell you in advance, as I have said before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Do you think that Jesus does not see what you do? Do you believe satan's lie that Jesus was also human and that He will understand? If your answer to any of these questions is "yes", then you are in big trouble, dear reader! Jesus sees everything you do. He knows about that strife you are constantly walking and looking for. He knows if you are jealous of others and he knows about that pornography that you hide so hard that no one should see it! You commit adultery, you are a fornicator and you are unclean!Yes, these are harsh words, but do you prefer to read the truth now or to wonder about the rapture you have done wrong?
Dear Child of the LORD; in the name of Jesus; stop and see what you are doing! Our time is up; any time could be the last second before the tribulation begins. Leave the worldly things you are busy with, because if you don't, you won't inherit the Kingdom of God and that's a promise! There is no more time for playing Christianity; please listen!
I pray, LORD, that there will be someone who will read this message and pay attention. Forgive that person and help him or her to be able to escape from the seesaw of satan just as You have helped all of us, my LORD, because that path does not lead to eternal life. Bless this message that it will bear fruit a hundredfold. AMEN!

Could we get a whumpy version of the 'not nice caretaker' prompts, but for the sickee? Not sure if this makes sense lol
thank you so much for sending me a request, anon! you are my very first.
i didn't really understand if you wanted me to reverse the roles and have a whumper sickie being mean to the caretaker (which i'm not even sure how it would work), or if you wanted the sickie's response to the mean caretaker's threats. i went with the latter, but if i got it wrong feel free to send me another request.

Notes: This is my submission for @my-divine-death’s motell 666 writing challenge! I chose: the demonized, #999, and segsy seabass.
One knock. Two knocks. Three knocks on room #999. Their usual knock code and room number. Lee approached the door, a smile spreading on his face as he adjusted himself in his uniform.
Lee had found her through a colleague at the station, had gotten the number for her agency and had told the woman on the phone what he was looking for. At the end of their conversation he had scheduled an ‘appointment’ at motel 666 with y/n and the rest was history.
This became the routine every Friday for over three months, and Lee couldn’t get enough. She was beautiful. Lee thought she could’ve been a model if she didn’t waste so much time on her back. He paid in all cash, no paper trails and nothing that could get him in trouble at the station.
Y/N filled a void in his life, fulfilled every dirty fantasy that ran through his mind, and was the only woman that kept him company with her presence. She’d call his number from the main line every Thursday to confirm their ‘appointment’ and ask what he’d like to do that week. It always varied, the kinkier the better for Lee. Some days he handcuffed her to the bed and ate her out while she came over and over on his tongue. Other days he choked her till she passed out while fucking her in every position imaginable. No hole was off limits with her, she only had two rules: always wear a condom and no kissing on the lips. Both were easy for Lee to commit to.
Lee opened the door, taking in the sight of y/n for the evening. She was dressed in a black and white plaid skirt, white blouse, white stockings, and black Mary Jane’s. Her curls bounced as she stepped past him into the motel with Lee shutting the door behind her.
“Good Evenin’, Sheriff.” She teased, moving to sit down on the bed, her legs crossed as she undid her shoes and kicked them aside.
“Evenin’ y/n.” He responded, taking in the sight of her before him on the bed.
Tonight’s request was all about ‘corrupting y/n’s innocence’. Lee wanted y/n to play an innocent college girl while he played the big bad sheriff looking to corrupt her. His part wasn’t as much of an act. Y/N was in her early 20s, playing the part perfectly as well, as she used the funds from her job to pay for her college classes.
“I need a little help with somethin’.” She whispered, opening her legs to display her bare pussy to him. “I’ve never had’a orgasm, Sheriff. Would ‘ya be able to help me with that?” She asked, batting her doe eyes at him.
Lee moved closer, undoing his belt and unbuttoning his trousers, letting his cock spring free underneath. He wasn’t wearing any briefs, giving him more relief for his aching cock.
“I’ve got somethin’ for ‘ya, sweets. Do you know how to suck a cock?” He stepped out of his trousers, keeping his uniform shirt and tie on, his badge shining in the light from the lamp beside the bed.
“No, Sir, I’ve never even played with myself.” She chirped, her eyes widening at the sight of Lee pumping himself in his hand. Faking innocence, check.
“It’s easy, just open ‘ya mouth and I’ll do the rest.” Y/N got on her hands and knees on the bed, staring up at his cock and opening her mouth wide. Lee moved closer, slapping his cock against her tongue before pushing in her mouth, watching as she enveloped his cock, swirling her tongue on the underside of it.
“Look at that, a fast learner.” He taunted, bucking his hips deeper into her warm mouth. He fucked her face, watching as saliva dripped down her chin and onto the floor, tears streaming down her face. Lee finally pulls out of her mouth with a pop, spanking her ass from under her skirt. It made him hornier to fuck her fully clothed.
“Turn around, wanna see that pretty pussy of yours.” He commanded, watching as she moved her face against the motel mattress, her pussy on display for him. She could hear the rip of the condom wrapper, turning her head to ensure that he put it on. “Have ‘ya had anything in this pussy?” He rubbed his cock against her folds, making her shiver.
“No Sheriff, never even had a man touch me.” She lied, wiggling her ass on his cock.
“Well sweets, I’ma ‘bout to fuck ‘ya real nice.” His cock pushed in, her pussy tightening instinctively around him. Lee groaned as he bottomed out inside her, moving his hips in an animalistic rhythm. “Look at that, ‘ya pussy is made for me. Tell me how much you like it.” He instructed, slapping her ass as he fucked in and out of her.
“I like it, Sheriff! Your cock feels so good in my pussy, thank ‘ya for fucking me!” She felt that familiar feeling building up in her stomach, her eyes flying shut. “I’m gonna cum, thank ‘ya Sheriff!” Y/N cried out, her walls tightening around his cock.
“Good girl, sweets.” He pulled out after she came down from her high, his cock coated in her cum. “We’ve got one more hole to break in.” He announced, his cock poking at her tight ring of muscles.
“N-No Sheriff, please!” She fake-pleaded with him, pretending to wiggle out of his grip. Lee doesn’t stop, her cries spurring him on as he pushes his cock in deep, not giving her time to adjust to the intrusion before fucking her mercilessly.
“No Sheriff, please don’t fuck my ass!” She cried out, bouncing forward with every thrust. “Can’t take it, it’s too much! Please!”
“This ass is so tight, look at ‘ya, turning into a whore on ‘ya Sheriff’s cock. Your beggin’ me to stop, but your body says keep goin’. ‘Bout ready to burst in this ass.” He groans, fucking into her faster before he cums inside the condom, holding himself inside her until he comes down from his high, finally pulling out.
Lee tosses the condom in the trash, y/n sitting up and pulling back on her shoes, walking to the bathroom and washing the saliva stains from her face.
“Got the cash?” She asks, drying her face and straightening her clothes, her hands placed on her hips.
“Right…” Lee went over to the nightstand, pulling out the envelope of cash and setting it on the bed. “Listen, why don’t we go out for dinner? My treat.” Y/N grabbed the envelope, opening it up and counting the cash to make sure it was accurate, an eyebrow raising at his offer.
“I appreciate it, but no thanks. You’re a great customer though, Lee.” She added, a sigh leaving Lee’s lips at her words. Customer. Was that all she thought of him?
“Y/N, I don’t want to just fuck, ‘ya know? You’re perfect; smart, beautiful, a good lay. The whole package.” He rubbed his hands over his face, sitting down on the edge of the bed. “I’m in love with ‘ya, y/n. I want to take care of ‘ya, want ‘ya to be my girl.”
Y/N shifted uncomfortably in her heels, chewing on her bottom lip. She strides to the door, the envelope in her right hand while opening the door with the other.
“Lee, what we do, the fantasies we play out, it’s all fake. None of this is real. You’re my client, I’m your hire. That’s it.” Lee looks down at his hands, his jaw tensing.
“I’ll see ‘ya next week.” And with that she’s gone, leaving Lee to drink away his sorrows in room #999.

The 6 stages of grief
Levi Ackerman x fem! Reader
Denial
I had an idea about Levi facing every stage of grief after losing Isabel and Farlan and he takes it out on the reader, one of the few survey corps soldiers that survives that expedition and Levi blames their death on her. She understands what he is going through and tries to help him get to acceptance. I will split this on 6 parts, one per each stage. This one is the second part .
Part 1 - Part 3
Denial
Heavy feets, heavy clothes soacked in blood, heavy eyes and heavy breathing. There was nothing about living that was not heavy and painful to Levi right now
He had lost his siblings on that expedition fighting for a cause they did not even believe in
Why? Why had he lost them?
His mind was empty, the only sounds he could hear were Isabel and Farlan's screams, their skin tearing apart by that titan hands and their bones being crushed between its teeth
Your voice tried to reach to him many times on the way back home but not even once he did pay attention to you
His eyes riveted on the wagon carrying the expedition's deads
His eyes were on what he could imagine were Farlan and Isabel bodies, or what that titan had left of them
His mind was so fixated on the corpses that he could not think, his brain was just silent, repeating the same scene all over again, his friends death and how he couldn't save them
He finally broke once he entered the common showers
On the underground showering with hundred of strangers would be quite intimidating
He remembered the very first time he and Farlan had to shower on the survey corps, they were vulnerable and uncomfortable, on their past life they would have been killed in that situation
He also remembered Isabel told him that you had managed to get the shower closed for 20 minutes just so she did not have to go through that feeling, he knew that the situation was for sure much worse for a girl and even more in Isabel case, she was alone, he and Farlan had each other at least
That little detail made him see you as someone quite likeable, you really helped and cared for Isabel, but it soon went away
As water tainted of red out of blood felt from Levi's body, his mind flew to every single memorie he had had with his now dead comrades, ignoring the fact that they were no longer there
He went to the dinner hall searching for his friends, his mind was not even trying to assimilate what had happened. As stupid as it sounds he did not realise that none of them were going to show up to the hall
You approached him, two different plates with food, you had prepared one for him too
"Here, I thought you would not want to think too much about what to eat or where, want to come to my squad table?" You said in the sweetest tone you could give him
He was not really an enjoyable company and you were not dying for him to eat with you but you understood how he felt, he was lonely now, if he had to think about where to sit he would have to process his siblings-like deaths and you knew he wasn't ready for that, no one was ever ready for that
But his mind was not with you right now, it wasn't on the dinner hall, it was in their old house, that horrible underground house where at least he had them
He did not answer you, heading towards his bedroom with an empty stomach
The moment his body touched the bed thoughts finally started to appear on his head
"Why? Why did I accept that mission. The underground was horrible but at least we were alive."
"Why? Why did I gave up and allowed them to go to that expedition, if I had been more stubborn they both would be alive"
"Why? Why did Erwin let us go with him knowing we were going to kill him, was he trying to get us killed by those monsters? Did he really wish for Isabel and Farlan's death?"
"Why? Why was I not able to save them?"
"Why did this happened? Maybe I deserved it, maybe every single bad thing I had done brought us there"
"But why was I the only one to survive? Isabel deserved life much more than I"
"It is my fault"
Every single one of those question ended up with "It is my fault"
The loud snorts of the idiots he had to share the room with and the knowledge that Farlan's bed was totally empty was not helping him
His mind growing meaner to him, blaming him more and more
Until a slight knock on the door woke him up from this nightmare
Not literally, he couldn't sleep, he had always had hard times sleeping and now? He knew he would never sleep again
With those very heavy feets and heavy eyes that did not abandon him since the loss of his friends he approached the door
And there you were, bothering him again, he was starting to hate you now, you had survived and Isabel and Farlan didn't, who gave you the rights to come and bother him every single time?
"I... thought you would like to have what Isabel left on our room"
His hate disappeared, his sadness disappeared, he could only think about how having Isabel things would bring her back to him
Both of you headed to the kitchen, you wouldn't bother anyone's sleep there
"I'm sorry if I woke you up, I couldn't sleep knowing Isabel was not on the other bed and I went to look at some of her things, I tought you would need it more than me" you were not lying... totally, you did all of that, you felt horrible after losing the girl and you could not sleep but you weren't sorry you woke him up, you knew how this worked he either couldn't sleep or was being haunted by nightmares
A slight grunt was the only answer Levi gave you
"I don't think she had wanted me to look through her things though so I didn't really touched anything, I think that's something she would have liked you to do" your voice barely reaching his ears as he found Isabel belongings
There were not many things, they did not have the money neither the time to buy unnecessary objects. Isabel did had a preferred shampoo she took with her to the survey corps, Levi remembered how he was the one who told her to buy something to clean herself apart from water, a small smile drawing on his lips as the memory crossed his mind
For him you were not there, neither was the kitchen, he was with Isabel trying to explain to her that some water won't make the dirt go away
"Levi, no one can afford the luxury of a clean hair here, don't be mean to the girl, just get her some shampoo"
They couldn't afford to lose their money in insignificant belongings and many of the underground would find shampoo as one of those but not Levi, he needed Isabel to be clean if she was going to live with them
He would give anything to be back there, to have them at his side again
But instead you were the one by his side today
And your voice brough him him back to his cruel and empty reality
"She told me that story about the bird you set free" your hands were holding a small piece of paper with a drawing of that little animal who made Farlan and him meet Isabel "I think I've never known someone who would risk their lives for a bird like she did"
"I did not know Isabel could draw like that"
"I... Isabel saw me sketching some of the new cadets training and once she told me the story about the bird we both thought it would be good to have something to remember that story"
Levi felt how his eyes darkened, he did not like how you were introducing yourself in his grief, you were not one of them, you were not someone Isabel trusted and you were not his friend, he did not want you, or anyone, to fill the void they left. No one could ever replace them
"Maybe I could do one for Isabel and Farlan so you can carry them with you always"
"I don't need anything like that" Levi grunted "and I don't need a new friend either so stop following me around everywhere, there is nothing to pity me about"
With that, Levi left and for the following days his hate towards himself and his blame started landing on to you
Every time he saw your face and your sweet gestures to try and make him survive through the situation it remembered him that it was real
You, your existence, proved that they were gone
He could no longer deny it
And his denial soon became hate and anger towards who he blamed their deaths on
His anger exploded on you and started to avoid you or mistreat you sometimes but deep down he was the one he blamed the most
