i love someone who is nice not because they don't have the capacity to be mean, but just because they are good enough to be nice to others
aka, a nice person who actually has a spine
character-wise, i think this makes a fun trait. it's the same thing people like about the "quiet person gets pissed" trope i think. honestly i'm sick and tired of the kind, innocent mc

Tumblr media
hey, everyone!
My name is Ley (pronounced like "Lee," she/they) and I'm a fiction writer/editor based in the PNW. I haven't done a proper writeblr intro in a while, so I figure the new year is a great time to reintroduce myself to the community!
— about me
An important thing to understand about me and the way I talk about writing is that this stuff is literally my entire life. Even outside of work, I don't think I have a single interest or hobby that doesn't relate back to storytelling in some capacity. I'm an avid media consumer and critic, and will hyperanalyze just about anything that catches my fancy for more than a minute.
I love science fiction and fantasy, and my goal as a writer is to take all the genres I loved growing up and create stories that are a little more diverse, inclusive, and queer.
— about the blog
I came to writeblr mostly to share my work, but also to find an active community where I can get excited with other writers and talk shop. Marketing is obviously a really important part of the publishing industry, but I get tired of having to filter every thought I have about my work and experiences through the lens of aesthetic micro-trends just to put it out in the world. Sometimes I just want to pop off about scenes I'm proud of, you know?
Above all else, I really just want to connect with more writers like myself, ones who got their start in fandom spaces and are working to take their writing from a hobby into a career. I see you, I am you, I love you, let's be friends!
You’ll definitely see me posting and reblogging a lot of stuff that isn’t necessarily related to writing, so be ready for that. My art exists in the context of my personality and the world as a whole, and I simply do not have it in me to maintain a whole separate blog for silly nonsense and memes. Just consider it a way to get to know the writer as well as the writing!
— about my writing
I write a lot, though most of it is disconnected nonsense. Flash fiction and short stories are where I really thrive as a writer. I don't tend to commit to long-form projects, but I have a few projects that I'll occasionally share details about!
I like to describe my style as "earnest and character-forward," which is a fancy way of saying that I like driven protagonists who think too much and are emotional to the point of it being a character flaw.
My goal is to share more of my original writing moving forward, so hopefully you'll get to see all of this for yourself. If I'm totally honest, though, you'll probably see more of me discussing my work than actually writing it.
— about my projects
Here are the things you'll most likely see me posting about:
Agnomen: A sci-fi retelling of Hamlet and Coriolanus, currently in its very preliminary stages. It is literally my Roman Empire, except it's set on a moon of a planet that I'm calling Jupiter as a placeholder (but please note that it isn't actually Jupiter, as Jupiter is a gas giant and therefore a scientifically impossible setting for large sections of the plot).
Alter Ego: A superhero fic in which not-so-mild-mannered reporter Drew Derrick fights for mutant rights and can't seem to get his act together when it comes to keeping the complicated parts of his life separate.
Untitled Fantasy Project: The very first project I ever wrote, and the piece I return to every so often when writing is feeling more like a slog than a fun hobby. I set a lot of one-offs in this world and follow a few key characters around without them having a real plot.
D&D: I write a lot about Baz, my Wild Magic Barbarian. He's a regency noble with a lot of problems, and I care about him very much. I also have various other settings and characters, but he's my most active PC at the moment and therefore gets the most attention.
Short Stories: Sometimes I write these, and sometimes I like them enough to share!
— tag directory
ley rambles: my (often wordy) opinions about things
ley writes: not necessarily my writing, but talking about my writing
my writing: stories, blurbs, and other content I've written
not my writing: reblogs and creative writing that I liked, shared, and sometimes commented on

A Writeblr Intro (English Version)
Link zur deutschen Version
Hi, I'm Marlin! I've been lurking on tumblr and in its writing community for years but was always too shy to engage. Now I've finally decided to start sharing my own stuff (mainly to organize myself) and become active!
⫸ About Me ⫷
I go by Marlin (she/her), or on some platforms by luminous-jellyfish
mid 20s, queer
I write (mostly) in German, but post (mostly) in English
my favorite genre is fantasy, and all the different direction fantasy can go in, but I like trying my hand at genre mixing
my main blog where I reblog general stuff and fandom things and so on is @secondrealitytotheright
Tumblr media
⫸ Current WIPs ⫷
I'm currently most actively working on a few different stories that all take place in the same world (though at slightly different points in time) that I've dubbed "leviathan world" in my notes - after the gigantic sea creatures that live in its deep oceans (and sometimes the sky, who can resist sky whales, seriously). I would probably call it a fantasy world with steampunk elements.
All of those stories feature queerness in different forms, and most of them include at least slight elements of what might be called body horror.
All of these stories are still operating under working titles and are in various, wildly differing draft stages. As always I have far too much planned in this world but these four are the stories I'm actually actively writing right now:
Tumblr media
Seeds beneath our skin
Genre: Magical Academy Fantasy, Coming-of-age story
Setting: a group of islands and archipelagos near the equator, where the leviathans are generally both revered and feared as holy and powerful creatures connected to the spirit world
Short Summary: A young girl who grew up as a sea nomad joins the temple that has controlled religious practices throughout the islands for a hundred years. Against her will she becomes a key figure in the struggle for power and religious freedom that is about to grip the temple. To survive spirit possession, human intrigue and ideological differences she is forced to reconsider her identity and world view and define herself on her own terms.
Tumblr media
Honey cakes and bloody satin
Genre: Steampunk Fantasy, (Cozy?) Mystery, Romance
Setting: a harbor city on the northern continent, famous for their leviathan hunters, where a technological revolution is happening as the blood of leviathans is turned into a powerful fuel
Short Summary: A journalist working for a revolutionary underground newspaper and a seamstress involved in the golem's rights movement are thrown together when a man dies right in front of their eyes. They must work together and solve the crime while also hiding everything happening from the Watch, to protect both of their secrets.
Short WIP Intro
Tumblr media
Half the lights
Genre: High Fantasy Adventure, Romance
Setting: A city on the back of a leviathan, as well as the open skies, oceans and harbors frequented by smugglers, messengers and pirates
Short Summary: A wealthy, bookish young woman who dreams of investigating weather phenomenons escapes having to forge a psychic bond with the leviathan carrying her home city on its back. She stows away on a messenger ship and finds herself among a shady crew of smugglers. Eventually she gets herself involved in pirate adventures, a political revolution and a growing attraction to a headstrong fighter with a rigid code of honor and high ideals.
Tumblr media
And surrendered the flesh
Genre: Science Fantasy
Setting: a big city in a sub-tropical climate, surrounded by jungles and plains that have been gripped by a powerful virus that contorts nature and all living things
Short Summary: A young girl from the country travels to the city to find her missing sister and gets involved with an organisation that strives to perfect the human body. An ambitious scientist fights to be recognised for her genius and to keep her past mistakes secret. An old woman is forced to join a struggle she has been hiding from for years and rediscover forgotten powers to try and save her grandchild. All three of them will shape the face of the city.

Writer Questionnaire
Thanks to @wyked-ao3 (X) , @the-letterbox-archives (X)
****
How long have you had your writing Tumblr/Writeblr? A fast and loose estimate is fine!
As in my bio this account was silent for years. I toke it back and I've been active about (counts....) : since may 2024?
What led you to create it? (take it back in my case)
I've been cursed with Banana Fish story so I landed to AO3 last year out of despair and started writing there.
Also AO3 posted mainly here, but I was still silent.
Then around april this year a lovely author (@the-golden-comet 💫💫💫) left a bunch of comments on my writing on AO3 and almost simultaneously followed me here 👀 👀 👀👀 👀 👀)
I got curious too, read and fallen in love with his work (ref below 👇 ) and interacted here more, so I met new people (again, ref below 👇 ) and here I am.
What’s your favorite thing about the Writeblr community?
Tips and advices, sharing experiences, sharing the fun, the snippets and other writings and characters. The quality and amount of good writing here is pretty amazing!
What’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?
Well, this might sound haughty but I'll take the risk. They probably know me as an enthusiastic reader, and I am, I tend to go wild with comments 😅
But I also get bored and snap out pretty easily, and probably end up being very selective. If I follow and stick to an author is that I really believe in them, I don't do half a way 💗
Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?
I'm already seeing a lot that I love, mainly my mutuals. Then, of course, the more the better. One day I'll read it all........
WIP it Good
Which Works-in-Progress (WIPs) or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?
I have one (big) wip that is living in my head since already one year.
I've worked on and off for several months but since a couple of weeks now I'm fully committed only on this one (My OC is actually glaring at me)
How long have you been working on them?
One year...👆👆👆 (it will take a while I'm a 🐌)
Do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?
Ashley Knox, my main OC, came in my brain, curly blond, blue eyes and scars and said : write about me!
There have been more or less subconscious inspirations from Banana Fish, Omar little from the Wire, past women as gang leadears and others.
How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?
A lot....which doesn't make me go faster in writing 🤣
When someone asks the dreaded, “What do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?
Very few not on line know....and they don't ask 🤣
I don't really have a gender neither. I would say I mix reality/existential/magic/healing in a sort of fiction.
What do you want to say (if it’s different from what you do say)?
We can walk through fire
Let’s Rotate Blorbos
Name any characters you created.  Side characters, protagonists, antagonists, characters who’ve never been written, the first original abomination you ever pulled from your ass; whomever you’d like!
So far : Ashley Knox, Amy Salinas, Carlos Herrera, Frank Morales, 'The cook'.....
Who’s the most unhinged?
I would say Ashley.....but it's not the perfect term actually.
Who comes the most naturally for you to write?
Ashley and Amy. But it goes from moments to moments.
Do you ever cringe at them?
Until now not that much but I know I will....
How much control do you feel you have over your characters?  AKA, do they ever “write themselves,” refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn’t expect? To what degree? Are some less cooperative than others?
Same answer, for the moment they're relativeley nice.....
But I do struggle a lot until I don't feel it's right, they don't leave the grip so in a way they're already a pain in the ass.
Do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? And do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? For example, as Asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on AO3, etc.
I love it. Whatever way is ok.
On Writeblr Engagement
What makes you want to follow another Writeblr account? Do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? Do you follow based on WIPs, or vibes?
It depends, sometimes it's someone that I see around for a few times and get curious. Sometimes it's interest at first sight and I give it a try. Quite a few are mutuals from mutuals.
What makes you decide against following?
If I cringe for some reason.....mostly vibes.
Do you interact with non-mutuals often?
I don't know about "often" but yes, then I love when they actually become mutuals.
Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?
I tend to get obsessed easily 😅.....
All OCs of @the-golden-comet (my safety blanket) 💫💫💫
All OCs of @fortunatetragedy (even if my heart bleeds like....a lot!)
The upcoming crew of "The Pirate king of deaths redemption" by @wyked-ao3 💗💗 I'm so waiting to read them
Nat and Ron from The Reburial of Natalie King by @saturnine-saturneight , just started and I'm already doomed 😅
....and I stop here for now.
Tag np : @alinacapellabooks @bookish-karina @fortunatetragedy @saturnine-saturneight @aintgonnatakethis + open tag and a drink 🍻 🍻🍻🍻 🍻🍻

Helloooooo everyone!
This is the (official) sideblog of @olive-riggzey, where I will be putting all of my original works such as art and writing.
I'll probably update this in the future so please bear with me for now
I'm Zéta (she/hers), but you can just refer to me by my username if that's easier. I'm a comic creator, story writer, and a linguist, along with a few other random things.
(Here is my Writeblr intro post!)
As a general rule, please do not repost any of my stuff! Reblogging is fine of course, but please do not repost my stuff to other sites/social media! I will come after you and then neither of us will be happy.
Everything here will be of my own creation, unless otherwise stated! Reblogs and whatnot will still be over on my main blog.
While I may post occasional fanart, most of the stuff here will be original content, such as my OCs and the stories they exist in.
If you want to read my stories, I'll be linking them here!
I love talking with people! Please send me asks and interact with my posts if you feel so inclined! I'm making this sideblog because I want to be more engaged in the creator community, which is hard when your blog is kind of a hodgepodge of posts where no one knows what's going on.
Apparently I might be sharing some writing advice through my love of linguistics, so here's a link to that masterlist!
I'll probably follow people back on my main blog, mostly because that's the only thing Tumblr will allow.
I love tag games and ask games, but please do not send me chain asks (e.g., "Send this to ten people or else" asks) or tag me in posts with reblog bait (e.g., "Reblog if you ____")! These things unfortunately trigger my OCD and I'd like to avoid that. :}
(I also now have ANOTHER sideblog specifically for reblogging the responses to the WBW and STS asks that I send out, plus the cool stuff I'm on taglists for, over at @the-olive-finch-da-riggz!)
Uhhhh I think that's it for now? Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!

✨ Check out: OC & WIP extras (mood boards, lyrics inspo, tag game creations, and more!)
This is a whumpblr/writeblr space! Sometimes I’ll post/reblog writerly posts, memes, etc., but a lot of the posts/RBs will be about whump. I post original writing and reblog the work of others that I enjoy, gifs, tropes, prompts, and other such things.
I’m down with asks and tag games but may not respond right away. If I seem to ignore you, it’s not personal, it just means real life is taking priority at that moment.
I love comments and feedback on my writing and welcome them with open arms.
A note on age: I know I can’t actually stop you from accessing this blog, but I do not wish to interact with people under 18. It’s not personal, I’m sure you’re great, but it has everything to do with my job IRL. Please respect this boundary and come back on your 18th birthday.
Check out: My Most Common Tropes
My favourite elements of whump have to do with power dynamics, intimidation, dread, and angst. I love captivity-with-a-cause: kidnapping for ransom or as leverage over someone else, prison (in fantasy or historical settings, less so for modern settings though it’s not a hard rule), and the like. Fantasy presents so many creative versions of this trope, so I do love me some fantasy whump! It also gives lots of opportunity for dungeons, shackles, and other fun implements like that. Gratuitous tying or chaining up is always delightful to see. Pining, desperately trying to protect a loved one (…and failing), and self-sacrifice are other big tropes I love, so expect to see lots of those!
As for characters, I love it when they are as far as you can get from perfect, pure, and innocent—when they’re good enough people, but whose flawed or maybe even problematic decisions lead them into trouble. Always, always, I want my characters to have a hand in their own fates. Pure-hearted victims of the narrative who simply fall into a whumpy situation are cute and fun, but not what I tend to write.
A few odds and ends I’m such a sucker for, so you’ll probably find them in my writing:
Sibling relationships
Allusions to songs, books, folklore, and musicals
Nature and weather helping to set the scene (oh my goodness, how many times can I work snow into one story?)
If romance, either slow burn or instant attraction
…with a sprinkling of “huh, I don’t understand what I’m feeling, wtf is going on??”
‘In the nick of time’ rescues
Painfully awkward moments
Fluff and comfort, but only once they’ve really earned it
Almost kisses
Hard choices
Happy endings
You probably won’t find much gore or explicit noncon here, but there might be some elements of those in my stories or in reblogs. I don’t write BBU or pet whump.
My original “whumpy things I like” post can be found here.
Anyway, thanks for reading! 💕 Happy whumping!

📚 Bookblr Intro 📚
✨️ 🇵🇸 🇵🇸 🇵🇸 ✨️
Tumblr media
(Picrew link)
Goodreads
2024 Reading Goal: 13/20
Hi friends! I'm Lex. I'm 32, mixed Latine, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, and tired as hell. I got back into reading at the end of January (2024) and I couldn't be happier! Prior to this year, I'd only read one book over six years. My username may be temporary: it gets the point across quickly, but there's no seasoning.
Random questions:
What do you read?
Predominantly Adult/some YA speculative fiction, with a focus on queer, poc, and disabled stories. Lots of poetry, some nonfiction, and a little contemporary lit. My all-time favorite subgenre is urban fantasy, and I have a special place in my heart for circus-themed fiction.
Oh, and I guess I read romance now - sparingly. Mostly contemporary speculative romance and sentient object romance :)
What type of reader are you?
Mood reader all the way. This means I often end up in the middle of 5+ books at one time, and being a slow reader already, I take a while to finish books. I'm always adding to my tbr, which is 500+ books now. I have so much catching up to do!
Do you write book reviews?
Yes, though it's been a slow start. Check the #my reviews tag.
What else do you do?
I'm also a writer, and I have a writeblr here if you'd like to check it out. I make music, do witchcraft, make art (lots of soft pastels, collaging, and jewelry making), pretty much anything creative that can help life be a little less overwhelming.
Will you post discourse in the book community?
Probably! I don't dwell on the petty stuff, but a lot of things considered "drama" and "discourse" are actually really important topics and occurrences that harm vulnerable members of the book community, and should be discussed. I'm also not immune to venting.
What should I know before following:
I block HP fans. I have little to no tolerance for SJM, Colleen Hover, Tswift. This is a Pro-Palestine, BLM, trans-loving blog. I will be using my practically non-existent platform to reblog resources and awareness on social issues.
Can I message you?
Fucking go for it! I came here for community, not just to post pretty pictures and gain followers (no offense to those who did come here for that - we all have our style). I want to discuss books in-depth and connect with people. I'm a very passionate, autistic person, so please don't hesitate to ask for clarification if something I've said seems off. I'm not always the best at articulating my thoughts, especially when I feel intensely about something.
Let's build community together ❤️
~ Lex

An (Albeit Late) Writeblr Intro
I'm seeing all the Writeblr introduction posts going around and I'm starting to realize that, damn, I should have started my blog that way. But I didn't, so I might as well post my intro a while after I've written and reblogged other things, because it's the least I can do.
So, with that out of the way: excuse my fuck-ups, and here's a really late Writeblr intro…
______________________________________________
Hi! I don't think anyone wants to type out my long username whenever they're referring to me, so just call me 'A.' (He/him). I've been lurking on Tumblr for a while and I figured I'd actually get up and make a blog for writing. I don't exactly have any particular focus outside of just "random crap that relates to writing in any way, shape, or form" so I could be putting up memes, drabbles I wrote, excerpts from my WIPs, writing memes, etc. etc. I'll make other blogs if I wanna focus in on one specific writing aspect later, but for now, I'm keeping things general.
My current major WIP as of now is APS (stands for 'A Powerful Secret' but I usually just call it the acronym since it sounds cooler). It's a sci-fi dystopia trilogy centering around the idea of superhumans being discovered by an already-corrupt government. There's also a spinoff I want to work on, but that's way off into the future. I'm currently working on B2 of the trilogy; it's currently in the first draft. Considering that this series is still a major work-in-progress, I might not be able to post anything about it until a bit later.
I do have plenty of other side projects that I most certainly want to share on here, since I feel more confident posting those first (when I get back to writing them, of course). Some of these side-WIPs include:
The Devil On My Shoulder: A fiction centering around a depressed college-aged student, and how his life changes when a demon is kicked out from hell and comes crashing right into his home.
This is probably the story I'm most excited to work on, given that I've mapped out all the twists and turns in my head already, and all I need to do is write it.
ATM (placeholder title): A story — possibly a series — revolving around a civilization that relies heavily on elemental magic which takes the form of specific jewelry (ex: elemental rings, necklaces, wristbands, etc.). It's often used to fight back against the monsters that invaded the world decades ago. The source of the creatures is something that nobody knows, but the protagonist, Nadeline, is dead set on finding out.
This story may take a longer while to write, considering that it's a high-fantasy type of story, which is a genre I don't write often but want to write more of.
Don't Leave: (That may or may not be a placeholder title; it depends). A novel that focuses on the town of Bayholde, which forbids anyone from traveling outside of it and has closed itself off from the world almost entirely. Kaguya, a young man who is fed up with being trapped inside, makes his escape from Bayholde one night just to see what lies in the outside world. What he finds is most certainly not pretty.
______________________________________________
You can bet I'll be posting at least something related to the first or third WIP sometime soon. In the meantime, though, I'll probably fill up the blog with all the other things I mentioned before: drabbles, excerpts, memes, maybe the occasional writing prompt/idea if I feel like it.
I really look forward to seeing what the rest of Writeblr brings, along with reading everyone else's works/WIPs! :)

Writeblr Reintroduction!
So hey, it’s been a minute. (Read: several months)
A bit of a reintroduction is in order as I get back into this space that I miss very dearly.
Me: So I’m Larkspur, you might have known me as Jenna, or Dove, or tiredbard, or the Magician, any of those things really. But I changed my name a couple years ago, it’s Larkspur, hi! I like that one much better. I might change my url again at some point but that is still up in the air, I really like bardicbeetle. My pronouns are they/them/theirs (and I’m kicking around zie/hirs somewhere in my brain but we don’t have time for me to unpack that rn I’ve got too much else to deal with).
I’m in my mid-twenties, I write primarily character driven fiction, a lot of it focuses on the ideas of finding a home you truly belong in. My primary project (Safe in the Dark) has been in the works for well over a decade, and still involves vampires though kind of in a tangential plot device way and the focus is more on overcoming trauma and learning to love life again and how not everything monstrous is really the monster. My newer WIP, which still doesn’t really have a name but we’ll call it “That Witch Lives and Breathes” for now, is about an exiled hero becoming the village witch on a new planet and how you move on when the people you saved vilify you for it.
I post snippets of my work when I have them, reblog shitposts about writing, and sometimes very rarely make moodboards.
I also write fanfiction, specifically for Doctor Who, the Lost Boys, Kingdom Hearts, and most recently—2008 hit children’s mmorpg Wizard101. All of that can be found on my AO3 account under the username “oldestenemy” which is also the name of my fandom blog on here. I’ll probably reblog my wizard101 fic posts here, but keep posting them on my fandom blog, that just feels like it makes the most sense.
WIP introductions coming soon, and I’ll link them in this post when they’re up!
Safe in the Dark (contemporary fantasy/vampires) - Tag - Intro Post - bad CS presentation
That Witch Lives and Breathes (Sci-fi/Fantasy/a lil’ bit of horror) - Tag - Intro Post - bad CS presentation
Anyway, thanks for sticking around if I’ve known you a while, thanks for stopping by if you’re new. If you wanna catch up, introduce me to your new projects and characters feel free to send me an ask, or a dm, or tag me in a post. I have a lot of new snips to share once I get things on here in order. I love this community and I’m excited to be back in it.

Note
-Short version. I need help with chapter specific plotting, structure, composistion(?) and general problem solving help? Any help will be much appreciated!
-Long version. Ok so I have been stuck on this chapter for a couple of months now if not longer. I have written, rewritten, tried outlining but what makes sense in outline does not fit whats on the page, and am just stuck and don't know how to solve it. Every time i think i have a break through, i end up at square one again but with a thousand extra words in a jumbled mess.
I know where my charater is coming from, I know where hes going and I have plenty of barriers. Probably verging on too many. Its an interigation scene with high stakes and conflict and reaching a point where my charater is resisting but also breaking down a misbelief. There are also a lot of other things going on with other characters that although not included in this chapter, may affect the eventual outcome and following scenes/ chapters.
I am at a point where I don't know what I am missing or need to cut out. I feel like the interigation is a nessisary but its just not quite right. I might break it in to 2 interigations as it feels like too much for 1 chapter.
Again, any help appreciated.
Hey there! First: I think talking about being stuck in your manuscript is always helpful. Putting your creative struggles to words can help your brain sift through them. So thanks for reaching out and I hope this process helps you!
Second: The best way to help yourself with the challenges presented in the first version of your question is probably to scroll through writeblr blogs and use the search bar on their blog or their tags to find posts specific to what you’re working through.
You can always use the search bar to find posts on my blog about developing plot, characters, and general troubleshooting! You could also do deep dives on any blogs that I reblog from. If you want a place to start, I especially love Fix Your Writing Habits (they have a “Tags” section that has great resources) and The 960 Writers (she also has awesome tags and regularly reblogs super helpful posts).
Third: I love the details you gave about your story! It sounds incredible. It doesn’t seem like the misbelief is the issue. Breaking down the structure of the scene could definitely help. Interrogations often have follow-ups if the police don’t get the information they need (or want). You could have the scene end with everyone in the room struggling to communicate, especially if your characters are confused.
People also get called back in for interviews when new information about the case comes to light. Further evidence of the potentially committed crime could become known to the police or become public knowledge and require another conversation.
You could also free-write a different type of scene to flex your creative muscles before returning to your WIP. Write a different character interrogating your protagonist or change the setting. Change the interrogator’s motivation or see what happens if your protagonist takes their struggles/question to a confidant.
I also like brainstorming a random plot point after the place where I’m stuck. Let’s say your protagonist leaves that interrogation confused. Maybe your current plot outline has them going home to confront someone possibly involved in the crime/main event. Instead of having them do that, you could write a scene where your character goes to the local news station because they double-down on their understanding of the misbelief/want to draw public attention to their case so they don’t get interrogated again without the world watching.
Ultimately, you may still feel stuck. That’s okay too! You could try restructuring your outline or writing without it to see where your story naturally takes you.
Looking up resources from helpful blogs is also great because the various posts may put words to something you’re feeling or struggling with that’s hard to get specific about.
Good luck pushing through this point in your story’s journey and learning from the experience!

When you start writing a story, there are a ton of decisions you need to make -- what tense you'll write in, what POV you'll choose, and how the narrative voice will interact with the characters and events on the page.
These decisions can be daunting, and they're something a lot of writers struggle with without knowing what's wrong or how to talk about them. In this guide, we go deep into the nitty gritty of perspective, from the pros and cons of different types of POV to the grammar of verb tenses and the magical power of narrative distance to hook a reader.

It occurs to me...
...That some people find I’m Thinking of Ending Things pretentious because the inside of their head is not a relentless series of hypothetical conversations that weave spirals between “philosophical debate,” “showtunes that get stuck in your head,” “painfully embarrassing memories” and “self loathing.”
Cannot relate.

Lessons Learned at My First Book Signing
I attended an in-person author event today for the first time ever. It was not an especially high-profile deal -- just a local author fair hosted by the library. But it was still the first time I'd ever set up a table for the purpose of selling and signing books and interacting with would-be readers, and I want to talk about that experience a little bit and give some take-aways and advice for other writers who might be curious about doing something like this.
Tumblr media
Step One: Find an Event
My dear friend and co-conspirator @comicreliefmorlock tipped me off about this. She saw a flier for it at the library and I applied on a whim, not even sure if I'd get accepted for the event. But I did! And that's the first lesson I want to give you: Everything good I have in my life I got by saying, "Fuck it, let's give it a shot."
Don't get too deep in your own head about things. Don't self-reject from opportunities. Kick imposter syndrome in the teeth and just do the thing.
Step Two: Set Up a Table
I was operating on a major shoestring budget for this, and I didn't have time to put together real signage or anything fancy. But I could go to the dollar store for some Halloween flair and a tablecloth and honestly? Even that was eye-catching enough that it definitely lured some people over. Next time I'll be better prepared to do something a bit more cohesive. But even these little touches put me miles beyond most of the other authors there, who just had a small stack of books on a bare table.
A few tips:
Don't put out all your books at once. Leave most of them in the box and tuck it under the table or somewhere. Fewer books, artfully arranged = implied scarcity. And it just looks nicer.
Scatter your business card/swag around the table. Consider leaving out a dish of candy. Freebies lure people into stopping.
Put up a sign with pricing. I used a small whiteboard from the dollar store and doodled on it when I got bored.
Try to have a little flair. Keep it on-brand with the type of stuff you're writing. The goal here is to be eye-catching enough that people want to come see what you've got going on.
Step Three: What You'll Need
If you're going to attend any kind of author fair or signing event, I recommend the following:
Some way to take payment not in cash. If I'd had a Square reader today, I would have probably sold at least a couple more books. Nobody carries cash anymore (but plan to have a bit of change anyway). The sales I made today came through PayPal, and having that QR code sign (free with my business account!) came in clutch.
An assistant. If you can, try to bring someone along to be your helper. It makes a huge difference having somebody who can watch your table while you go network with other sellers, as well as somebody who can help make change and restock the books if you get busy talking to people. And on the flipside, if nobody shows up, your helper can keep you from feeling super lonely and awkward.
Some kind of swag or, at least, a business card. Bookmarks or stickers/bookplates would be baller, too. But you for sure need something with your name and some kind of identifier -- your website, your social media, your Wattpad, something. This is what my business card looks like:

Trans Horror Authors
My January reading challenge is to read a book by a trans author. Luckily, there are many out there to choose from! Here are some who write in the horror genre, because that's my area of expertise. If you know of others, whether in horror or other genres, reply with your recommendations!
In no particular order...
Caitlin R. Kiernan
A genderfluid Irish-American paleontologist who also writes spectacular cosmic horror, what's not to love? They've been repping queerness since the 80s and have a robust library to choose from, so you're bound to find something you'll like!
Poppy Z. Brite
Billy Martin, whose work is published under the name Poppy Z. Brite, was a big name in the Gothic horror scene of the 1990s and continues to be a frequently-recommended author, although he doesn't publish as much horror these days.
Julya Oui
A Malaysian trans woman and prolific short story author. She has several collections out that you can browse, if short stories are your speed! Maybe start with Taiping Tales of Terror, which draws heavily on her native folklore and influences.
Rivers Solomon
A nonbinary, intersex Black author now living in the U.K., Solomon has three books out and they all look spectacular. Their books lean more toward sci-fi/fantasy, but their newest title Sorrowland looks to be pretty solidly Gothic as well.
Gretchen Felker-Martin
Trans woman, film critic, and unapologetically outspoken. Her best-known book is Manhunt, a post-apocalyptic horror tale that doesn't pull any punches. She's got another new release slated for 2024 to keep an eye on.
Hailey Piper
One of the most prolific authors I can name off the top of my head, Hailey also has several novellas out in the world + a few novels. If the intersection of queer fiction, body horror, and cosmic horror sounds like your thing, you can find something in her backlist. Also she's here on tumblr, go learn more at @haileypiperfights
Eve Harms
A bit of a new player on the field, but well worth checking out. Eve is a Jewish trans woman. Her debut novel, Transmuted, is a breathless body horror romp. She also makes a bunch of handmade zines, which I just think are neat :)
Natalie Ironside
One of Tumblr's very own better-known names, Natalie is queer, disabled, trans, hilarious, and author to at least three novels I can think of plus some other stuff too - go scope her out on @natalieironside for the details.
.....I know I'm missing a ton of people but these were the first ones that came to mind. I have to get back to writing, but I hope this inspires y'all to pick up a book you haven't read yet, and to add to my list down in the notes.
Happy reading, y'all :)

Pro Tip: The Way You End a Sentence Matters
Here is a quick and dirty writing tip that will strengthen your writing.
In English, the word at the end of a sentence carries more weight or emphasis than the rest of the sentence. You can use that to your advantage in modifying tone.
Consider:
In the end, what you said didn't matter.
It didn't matter what you said in the end.
In the end, it didn't matter what you said.
Do you pick up the subtle differences in meaning between these three sentences?
The first one feels a little angry, doesn't it? And the third one feels a little softer? There's a gulf of meaning between "what you said didn't matter" (it's not important!) and "it didn't matter what you said" (the end result would've never changed).
Let's try it again:
When her mother died, she couldn't even cry.
She couldn't even cry when her mother died.
That first example seems to kind of side with her, right? Whereas the second example seems to hold a little bit of judgment or accusation? The first phrase kind of seems to suggest that she was so sad she couldn't cry, whereas the second kind of seems to suggest that she's not sad and that's the problem.
The effect is super subtle and very hard to put into words, but you'll feel it when you're reading something. Changing up the order of your sentences to shift the focus can have a huge effect on tone even when the exact same words are used.
In linguistics, this is referred to as "end focus," and it's a nightmare for ESL students because it's so subtle and hard to explain. But a lot goes into it, and it's a tool worth keeping in your pocket if you're a creative writer or someone otherwise trying to create a specific effect with your words :)

Author Questionnaire
tagged by @the-letterbox-archives again, thanks :3
How long have you had your writing tumblr/writeblr? a fast and loose estimate is fine!
I started it January 1st, 2022.
What led you to create it?
My original writing blog was a side blog. I wanted to revive it but I also really wanted to be able to interact with things as a separate entity from my main blog, so I remade it here. I don't know precisely when my old side blog was made since I've deleted it, but probably 2015 or so.
What’s your favourite thing about the writeblr community?
I just love being surrounded by creative people, it's fun to always see somebody talking about something they're working on!
What’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?
If you don't know already, I love to talk. People can message me or reblog or comment on literally anything. I love to talk shop, I love to answer questions, I love to help people brainstorm, I love to talk about pretty much anything with people.
Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?
I could always stand to see more positive jokes and memes and less negative ones, but otherwise it's pretty good.
Which wips or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?
Ones that I'm actively working on publishing or will soon be publishing: Dragon's Daughter, Celestials, Second Chances Ones that I am currently writing or planning about in an intentional way: Untitled 3, Northbound, Miracles, Magic Black as Knight
How long have you been working on them?
Second Chances is the oldest of those overall, which goes back to 2007 or 2008, at least. (only Silverwood is older since it goes back to around 2003) The Ghost was originally written in November of 2013 Dragon's Daughter was originally written in December of 2015 Northbound shows November of 2018, but it was based on something that I had written earlier and I don't know the exact date. I would be willing to bet 2016 though. Different parts of it come from different places so some of the characters go back to circa 2005, 2007, and 2008. Miracles is from August of 2019. Magic Black as Knight is from April 2022. Untitled 3 I finished writing this month although the initial idea is from 2019
Do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?
In order of the above: lots of mixed sources, a dream, my roommate telling me I should do it, a dream+old RPs, thinking the vibes would be fun, a dream, a completely mediocre anime that I watched
How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?
Anytime I'm not actively focused on something else, I'm thinking about a story. It might not be one of those listed about, but it is a story of mine. So, quite a bit.
When someone asks the dreaded, “what do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?
Hot take, I do not hate it when people ask me what I write about. I actually like that. Depending on my mood I might jokingly say something like homosexuality or magic and friendship. If I'm more serious I'll say that I write about figuring yourself out and finding the place you belong. Or if they're asking about something specific I will just tell them what that story is about.
Name any characters you created. side characters, protagonists, antagonists, characters who’ve never been written, the first original abomination you ever pulled from your ass; whomever you’d like!
I was just categorizing them for fun so take your pick:
Tumblr media
Who’s the most unhinged?
Quite a few of them are, but it's not incorrect to say Myca and Madena.
Who comes the most naturally for you to write?
None of them are particularly difficult to write. But I have the most fun with characters who can't or won't give a straight answer, for whatever reason.
Do you ever cringe at them?
Nope. Why would I?
How much control do you feel you have over your characters? do they ever “write themselves,” refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn’t expect? to what degree? are some less cooperative than others?
I approach things from a psychology and sociology based process. I try to allow the characters to have room to breathe and exist as part of their settings, so I can figure out what they are most likely to do. I might joke about them "writing themselves" but it's only because I'm trying to follow what the most likely path is for them to take. In general, no, I'm still in charge and I'm still making the decisions.
Do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? and do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? for example, as asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on ao3, etc.
Of course, I love talking about my characters! Any way is acceptable.
What makes you want to follow another writeblr account? do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? do you follow based on wips, or vibes?
I mostly just follow my friends and people who interact with me a lot. I don't follow very many people actually, only 37. It's generally people I know in real life, people online I've known or been mutuals with for a long time, some artists whose art I like, and then some writers that I talk to or somewhat frequently interact with.
What makes you decide against following?
I mean I won't follow you if you post a lot a shit I don't agree with. But also I have physical limitations so if you post a lot, I probably won't follow you, or might stop following you just because it's too difficult for me to keep up with my friends through a slog of posts. I also can get annoyed at people who constantly reblog their own stuff – nothing wrong with reblogging things and promoting yourself but there are limits. That sort of fits back into the above though it's just if there's too many posts that are getting in the way, I will stop following you.
Do you interact with non-mutuals often?
I'll talk with anybody, and I tend to respond to comments that people leave me whether they're my mutual are not! I mean maybe not if it's something generic like "nice" or whatever, but if somebody says something to me then I will probably respond to it.
Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?
To be honest I mostly have brain space for the characters of my IRL friends and also one or two people that I've known for over a decade. But I guess I am technically mutuals with all of those people so…yes?

Guys, I friggin did it.
Tumblr media
So I've been working for the last few months to get a painting done for every chapter of Blood and Thorns (which you can read over on my writeblr @pinkchaosstories ) - as of yesterday, I've finished that goal!! I'll be posting them individually as usual, but I'm so excited 😭 it was so much work and I'm so proud that I finished a goal that, once upon a time, was an impossible dream. I looked back at some of the first drawings I did for B&T, and uh, let's just say I've come a very long way since then.
This whole book has been a huge project, especially when one considers there's the sequel going through editing and a third one planned (to be written this year). I also have a catalogue of side-stories that have yet to see the light of day, a spin-off novelette planned, and two AUs (one in-progress, the other is done its first draft at 180k words wtf). If I totaled the word count, it would easily be over 700k words.
Anyway, thank you everyone for following me here. If you don't follow me over on my writeblr, please go check it out! And my main - @pinkchaosart - it's a basic, reblogging content I like sort of place but I think I'm hilarious, so maybe you will think so too. 💖
Stay tuned for more Blood and Thorns work, and probably other exciting things too (I just watched Hazbin Hotel and I gotta get me some Angel Dust and Alister fan art done). oxoxo

Hello, fellow writer! This ask is in regards to the ask event I've been putting on today that you reblogged.
These questions are to Sofijia.
So, Sofijia, who is the person you trust most? What moment was it when you realized you trusted them so much?
What was the worst time you were let down by someone you loved?
Have you ever been or felt betrayed but someone you loved?
What is the hardest thing about caring about people? What is the best?
If your life was a fictional tv show, what genre do you think it'd be classified as?
Thanks for answering! Have a great weekend.
Aaaaah! Thank you!
So, Sofijia, who is the person you trust most? What moment was it when you realized you trusted them so much?
"Who I trust most? My tėvas- ah- my father. I don't remember my mother much, so he raised me on his own. I learned everything I know about printing from him. But... I realized I trusted him most when he went to Joliet for me. For killing that- that šunsnukis!" She clenches her fists and trembles slightly, a worrying sight for such a strong woman. (šunsnukis is a strong curse word in Lithuanian for...uh, a bad person.)
What was the worst time you were let down by someone you loved?
"I have only loved my father, and he has never let me down. Did I not get everything I wished? Of course. Such is the nature of the world. No one gets everything they want." She looks to one side, as if to make sure her father isn't listening. "In truth, I wish he had not picked a fight in prison and broken his back. I only intended to take over his shop while he was away, but now I am feeding us both, and supporting his...habits." Sofijia looks genuinely uncomfortable at talking about this.
Have you ever been or felt betrayed but someone you loved?
"I do not think so. As I said, I only love my father, as it should be." She thinks for a moment, then replies, "I suppose when I was little, before I could understand what death meant, he told me that motina- mother, that is- had gone on a long journey, and he would pretend to read me letters from her, telling me of all the fairytale adventures she was experiencing. But I do not think of that as betrayal."
What is the hardest thing about caring about people? What is the best?
"The hardest thing about caring for others is when they come to expect it. Once it is no longer a gift, it is poison to care for someone. But the best part is when you can lean on one another for support. When you each acknowledge the gifts you can bring to one another, and rely on them, gratefully." She looks at Anthony, sitting across the room and talking with Joseph, but it's obvious where her eyes are drawn.
If your life was a fictional tv show, what genre do you think it'd be classified as?
"Teevee? A show? Like a play? Hmm. Probably a tragedy. Yes, that sounds right. Dead mother, crippled father, too old for marriage, too headstrong to step down from my- er- our business, probably fated to live out my days as a spinster..." She shrugs. "It doesn't sound all that bad to me, but others might find it tragic."
Also, I've opened up a more focused writeblr, @starcrossed-worlds. It'll house snippets from Anarchy Ink, Starcrossed, Diver Down, and a lot more!

hi, y'all ! my name is vayne, a casual writer from the Philippines, non-binary poetess, and lonely lesbian playing with her food at the age of sixteen. i'm actually twenty, however there's a lot of childishness to me sometimes so that's probably going to be a little evident with some silly things i think about.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
language and content warnings: here are some content warnings. these are general and will be untagged unless otherwise specified or if i deem it especially severe enough. if it is marked TAGGED, then i will tag that one in specific. i am not very good at catching these, so please (gently) inform me if i have left something untagged.
this blog is intended for those 18 and above. if you are below 18, i will not stop you from interacting because whatever i think you are allowed to judge your own maturity and capacity to handle explicit material. however, consider this your explicit warning: you are a guest and i am deferring to you the EXPLICIT RESPONSIBILITY OF LEAVING IF YOU ARE A MINOR. if you are uncomfortable with what you read, then i will apologize but i will not agree that i am at fault. learn how to be safe on the internet.
this is a English and Filipino writeblr. my primary language is English, but i will occasionally write in my native language instead.
I use swearing in my writing.
I write about depression and anxiety.
I write about ableism, especially regarding systemic ableism against neurodivergence and mood disorders.
I write about violence and sexual themes.
I write about death and the general nature of dying.
I write about horror and creepy things.
I use Catholic and religious imagery.
TAGGED: I occasionally write about alcohol abuse and smoking. ("#tw alcohol", "#tw smoking")
TAGGED: I make heavy use of unreality. ("#tw unreality") please note: i'm especially bad at catching this one. if you see me using it and having it untagged, please inform me and i will fix it.
TAGGED: I use blood and gore as imagery. ("#tw blood", "#tw gore")
TAGGED: I write about body horror. ("#tw body horror")
TAGGED: I write about body insecurities and dysmorphia. ("#tw body image")
TAGGED: I write about suicidality. ("#tw suicide" [explicit], "#tw suicide allusion" [implied])
TAGGED: I write about coercion. ("#tw coercion")
TAGGED: as a final precaution, i will tag all NSFW and excessively violent content as #not for minors. please keep this in mind when reblogging, for those with followers who are minors, and tag accordingly.
NOW ONTO WRITING
content: this blog, on the whole, is going to be original content as much as possible. for other writing rbs, you can check out my main over at @ninelispenardst. sometimes, i'll just post whatever i have in mind here, so i suppose don't be too surprised if it doesn't make too much sense? this is mostly a dumping ground.
regularity of posts: i'm going to be honest, i'm a pretty busy person. i am juggling a lot of things all at once so i wouldn't be surprised if i go months without touching this blog then coming back with years of content. however, i will try my best to have at least 1 post a day, just to make sure i'm keeping my mind clear and capable, regardless of my mood or inspiration.
genres: i mostly write poetry. i have a lot of fun pushing the limits of poetry and i like talking about grief, love, and loneliness. for prose, i stick to slice-of-life, casual fantasy, and a bit of romance, but it's honestly pretty rare that i commit to writing anything other than poetry, so... probably expect mostly poetry.
themes: my thematic hyperfixations are on the grandiose, the excessive, and the inevitable. when i write, i enjoy focusing on the minute but solely because, to me, they are reverberations of a greater whole. i like to think about sacrifice, impossible yet unwavering commitments to love, and the protection of those loved. i also deeply enjoy the power of the divine (despite being largely areligious) and think a lot about what it means to be thought about by larger-than-life-and-death beings of incomprehensible power. are we charming? callous? a mistake? or not worth thinking about at all? i love all these mixed thoughts.
i hope you enjoy at least some of my writing. :) my writing projects and more about me under the fold, but otherwise, have a nice day!
writing projects
here we are, at the end an anthology on the last years of humanity at the very end of time and history. after humans conquered the universe, entropy has caught up to them and the last sources of energy are the final dissolving black holes. chronicling the final years around these dark behemoths, HWA intends to explore what it is we wanted out of having lived, the tenability of godhood, and what it is we will do when we finally must confront the infinity beyond the very end.
awake after the end of oblivion i wanted to write a poetry book in 2021 after a girl broke my heart, however i've recently come to the realization that actually i don't want to just write about a girl and immortalize that as the first book i finished. so i'm repivoting this to be a collection of poetry on love in general and what it means to really love your friends as whole and complete persons, capable of change, who must come and go, and the grief we are inevitably going to face with their loss. after all, to lose people can feel like the end of the world. so how do we face the fallout?
escapril / poetry challenges this is probably my most well-sustained project. i've done escapril since 2019, first accomplishing it to 100% in 2021 and planning to do the same again this year. along with that, i want to write 180 poems every year and watch myself get better at making them. in general, i just want to get better and i think really sticking to making poetry regularly and with discipline is the best way to do that.
circuit boards and eddies a fic on transness and the conflicts between short-term academic achievement and long-term societal change. set in the early-2010s Bicol region, CB&E intends to explore how relationships hinge on class, the sacrifices necessary for lasting change, the nature of the mass movement in the Philippines, and the natural contradictions arising from survival and service. (this one has character sheets ready and i'm just working on outlining.)
18892 a Philippine-based take on 17776, exploring how Patintero has become a sport spanning the entire world, what kind of losses were endured by the sinking archipelago after the Day, and the imperial dynamics of a post-scarcity, unchanging universe indelibly scarred by it. this one is in stasis but i really really want to write it.
philosophy on writing: i think words are suggestions, their meanings manifestations of imagination, and the thought of lines, mere abstract complexes generated by the confluence of their implications. if i use a word in a way you think is incorrect, feel free to provide me that correction, but do note that if i don't agree, it's nothing personal. i think words mean things but they are also implicitly reliant on the words around them and if their supposition enough is to derive meaning, then the word has largely accomplished its task. i write to express, not to tether thoughts to the earthly limits of definition.
more about me: i'm a trans non-binary girl, living in the philippines and working on a political science degree. i use she/her and prefer the mx. honorific. although i'm a marxist (so that kind of commentary is to be expected), i stick to writing poetry about love, intimacy, and being seen. i have adhd, c-ptsd, and dysthymia, so that colors a lot of how i portray things.
on the whole, i want to be interesting and remembered. i hope my writing will be good enough to accomplish one of the two. may i resound for just one fantastic moment before i go silent forever.

check in tag
thanks go out to Dru (@dru-reblogs-stuff)! I know it's been forever since this tag but it looked fun so here you go 😌
1. Why did you choose your url?
well, this used to be a writeblr and i chose the name Levi to go by online a while ago and that's pretty much where it all came together. since writers sometimes use an alias, you know 👀
2. Any sideblogs?
yes! since this is my main, i have just recently decided to post my writing on a side blog that can be found here - @i-go-by-levi (i'm very creative when it comes to naming blogs as you can see haha)
3. How long have you’ve been on tumblr?
with my current active blogs since April 2019, and before that on and off since like 2016 or 2017 but those accounts have been deleted by me since.
4. Do you have a queue tag?
i used to! it was #ps i love queue but i am too lazy to add it anymore
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
back in the day before i joined the writeblr community i had a song lyrics quote blog that actually posted up to three times a day (all queued of course) but i got tired of that so i abandoned Tumblr for a while and then came back with a changed url, template and idea
6. Why did you choose your icon?
i change my icon every few months actually and it used to be some stock photo of a typewriter but in the past months since i moved out from home and been changing personally, i decided i can go with a picrew as well. i'm ususally changing my icons between some fantasy type of way to portray myself and rather realistic ways, often adding aspects to my appearance that i do not have in real life
7. Why did you choose your header?
up until my last blog updates and re-designs like a week back i used to put great thought to the choice of my header and making it the source of my color palette for the blog - i gave that up because i didn't really feel like doing that anymore and i am also trying to work on my perfectionism so... no header for me anymore haha
8. What’s your post with the most notes?
one time i decided to share my thoughts about needing someone to listen while i ramble about a plot i am planning but i don't need them to contribute anything "hm" and "yes" and "okay" - and then i got 284 notes for that
9. How many mutuals do you have?
hard question, i haven't been active in the past six months but counting who i interacted with rather often back then i can say about four 🤷‍♀️
10. How many followers do you have?
honestly, looking at the notes my posts got, more than i thought i would have
11. How many people do you follow?
96, i recently sorted that out.
12. Have you ever made a shitpost?
i don't think so. reblogged, yes. written myself, probably not.
13. How often do you use tumblr each day?
not as much as i would want to. i am currently at like two times a week, maybe three.
14. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? Who won?
none i would know of haha
15. How do you feel about “you need to reblog this” posts?
they do catch my attention but ultimately i decide situation and topic dependent if i really "need to reblog this".
16. Do you like tag games?
i really really love them with all my being! though sometimes, with uni and life and stuff, it's a bit hard to everything asap but i really enjoy being tagged!
17. Do you like ask games?
same as the tag games. i love them! though it might take me a bit to come back to all the asks and properly answer them.
18. Which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?
that's a tough question for someone who hasn't been properly on here in six months. i think i'll pass on this one, sorry.
19. Do I have a crush on a mutual?
no i don't.
20. Tags?
i am tagging @liz-pooh (to let her know that i am waiting for her return to Tumblr), and everyone who sees this and feels like doing it. i am not confident enough yet to tag other people again 😬
